In short: wonderful, thoughtful, professional, and charming staff. Competitive pricing, not your average overpriced and overrated spa, the price matches the service and equipment (they are constantly buying new stuff) Palpable results!! I've done laser, facial treatments, body treatments. All with real changes and amazing results. For the ones that love the details: I've had laser hair removal years ago at maderma. I saw results since the first treatment, although every skin is different, so results might vary; however, the treatment was done in a clean space with all the detail and care I needed. Full body hair removal can be intimidating, Dr Harb and darling Aester treated me like a princess and made not only confident but comfortable. After a few sessions, I was a happy hairless gal :) I now do the treatment once in a while to maintain results. Lately, I only need it once a year. After that experience, I was ready for facial treatments; hidrafacial is my to-go treatment. I swear by it! My mixed and sensitive skin gave me problems for years.. I can't wear makeup daily, I need the natural look, so this treatment is a must. The change in my skin is immediate, and I love it, especially after a trip or when the weather changes. Next is microneedling. This fixed major skin issues. Aging spots, wrinkles, and marionette lines. Dr Harb recommended this treatment, and the results were evident the very next day. I now glow like a star. I've had the same treatment in scars and stretch marks around my body, and the difference it made gave me the confidence boost I needed for a bikini again! Finally, from the minute I called to make an appointment and isabella explained everything to me and every time I'm looking for an appointment, she organizes everything for my treatments and makes sure the timing is just right! Aester and Dr Harb are my beauty gurus and I had nothing but positive service from them. Highly recommend!!! You will be a recurrent costumer for sure. read more

First time at Maderma Medspa, but not my first time receiving the hydrafacial. The spa was clean and the doctor administering my hydrafacial was so kind and explained each step of the process! This was actually the first time I had the hydrafacial done by a doctor rather than an aesthetician. Out of the handful hydrafacials I've had, this was hands down the best experience! My skin was not irritated at the end and was left glowing! read more

First time here and I must say this is the best decision. I was very skeptical and Ofcourse scared to get a laser hair removal treatment (for my chin) thinking it'll hurt me a lot. Dr.Harb is the best, he walked me through the process and explained everything patiently and assured the process is going to be very smooth and rightly so it was. I was hoping to get just consultation but on my first visit I even got the treatment done, it was swift. If only I knew that it's going to be this easy, I'd have chosen Medspa a long time ago. Isabella was very kind and welcoming too. Overall a 10 star experience, I'd highly recommend this place and looking forward to explore additional services. read more

I only called to get information and the receptionist, Agiee or Aygee? She's an air head. Not knowledgeable in laser vs electrolysis. It states on the website they offer electrolysis and she flat out said "I'm not familiar with that procedure." She then tried to proceed to book me in for an appointment when I haven't even discussed pricing or options or anything? I told her hold on, can I speak with someone about pricing and options? She caught attitude with me and proceeded to tell me she's the receptionist. That's great! But I think you should do a little research on your company before answering that phone again. I asked her name and she gave the most awkward silence and them told me her name. On the basis alone of your uneducated receptionist (and I mean on product knowledge or pricing, I will not be booking here, it's just such an unprofessional call from the beginning to end) read more

Cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Harb and Maderma. We went to see him with a little trepidation as we had previously seen others who made promises but did not follow through with results. Our first appointments were nothing short of amazing. Dr. Harb was thorough, took his time, had a great touch and explained everything as he prepared our feet, administered laser treatments to our toes, and provided detailed instructions for care at home until our next appointments. The results have been exceptional and improvements have continued from visit to visit. Thank you Dr, Harb!! read more

They are very good and professional. Always I go with Esther and Dr Harb. Very reasonable price. read more

Just had my first appointment here with Dr. Harb, and to say I'm pleased is an understatement! He was attentive to my concerns, kind, and so efficient! Isabella at the front desk was also very helpful and kind! Looking forward to moving forward with this med spa! Prices are very reasonable and the environment is very clean and inviting! read more

My husband bought a Groupon for my birthday to get a facial treatment at Maderma MedSpa. I let Dr. Harb know that I am interested in laser treatment. He recommended to do HydraFacial treatment first then laser treatment. I followed his recommendation. He is very knowledgeable and explained thoroughly about hydra facial and laser procedures. As he predicted I started to see great results a few weeks later. I am very happy about both treatments. read more

The staff and service are wonderful and very accommodating. The doctor is very knowledgable and explains the processes throughout. Anjelica is our favorite technician, super gentle and sweet and the reason why we keep coming back. read more

Wonderful service and great people. The doctor and especially Anjelica are the reason why we go for any of our needs.

Very knowledgeable and friendly Dr, explains everything in detail. Very nice staff and clean facility. Highly recommend Dr Harb.

I have been getting Medspa treatments done for 20 years and Dr. Harb by far is the most knowledgeable and educated of any I have worked with. He has done his research, he continues to educate himself on every new machine that comes to market and really understands based on each clients needs, how to customize an appropriate recommendation. He loves what he does and does not take his patients for granted. Highly recommend Maderma Medspa for any treatment and you can always request a consult with Dr. Harb! Thank you to all the staff, you are exceptional. read more

I purchased a Groupon for a toenail fungus treatment. When I arrived at the spa, I started getting nervous because I wasn't sure what to expect. However in no time the Dr set my mind at ease. He came in and explained everything from start to finish of how the process would work. During the process he took his time, was careful, professional, and reassuring. I am extremely pleased and highly recommend! read more

I've been going to Maderma Medspa for 4+ years. They are doctors who take excellent care of your skin. I go for regular facials. They have a unique approach that works perfectly for me. I know they travel all throughout the world studying best practices and developing top equipment. They offer many treatments. I've also done laser hair removal and the results were phenomenal. Go there - talk to them - they'll set you up with a treatment plan. The plan will work better than promised (i.e. laser hair removal they say you need 6 treatments and you end up only needing 3) and their prices are great. They are extremely popular on Groupon. I recommend using Groupon for Maderma or calling them directly. They are a close knit group of people and make everyone feel comfortable. Thanks. Blaise Chapman read more

Poor customer service! I arrived early, 15 mins prior to appointment and was not greeted or addressed....actually the receptionist was busy chatting with a colleague as I could see them just behind a wall. Then after being late the esthetician had been double booked and two of us were waiting! She asked who she could take first(both quick procedures) and we both had work to be at. After waiting quite a bit longer, I feel we really shouldn't have been asked to chose and the whole feel was unprofessional! Not an experience I would recommend! Very poor management!!!! read more

Amazing!!! I feel 10 years younger. Friendly, knowledgeable answer all your questions. Follow up is great . You won't be disappointed..

I bought a $400 Groupon for a $1000 service which the doctor talked me out of for two services which were worth very little. I fully acknowledge if was own fault for listening to there recommendation but it was a bummer to be excited about getting a great deal to ultimately overpaying for 2 very average facials. The place itself was a bit odd and unorganized as well. It wasn't a terrible experience but it wasn't a satisfying one either. read more

Best hydrafacial I've had. The doctor was courteous and really took the time to cover every mm of my skin sucking out impurities.

Dr Harb is the best! He really explains the procedure and what to expect as far as treatment plans. He also took the time to point out and treat other skin concerns that could affect the laser treatment I was having. He takes his time and makes sure you are comfortable during the procedure. Would highly recommend this spa:) read more

I just purchased $11.00 for a wax threading through GROUPON - but, if you were to just call up this "spa" without the GROUPON they'd charge you $10.00 for the same service. What?!! Totally deceptive. Then, like a fool, I gave a $5.00 tip. Unbelievable. It's just a dollar - then $5.00 for the undeserved tip - but, it's the point of the matter. You're not only NOT getting a discount - you're paying MORE through GROUPON. Never again. Rip off. read more

I found this hidden spa by purchasing a groupon! One of the best investments I ever made on myself. Purchasing a laser hair removal Groupon had me nervous as I was unsure of how this worked, what was needed and most importantly if this involved a lot of pain like waxing! Working with Aster, who is wonderful, she explained the process, went over the steps, and when going through the procedure ensured that I am ok throughout the process. This is what has me going back for more. Aster, Dr. Harb, and the wonderful staff Isabella, will make you feel comfortable and are available to answer any questions. My results are fantastic! I started off with underarms and because of the progress continued to try other areas, it is fabulous. Highly recommend this place! read more

This place was awful and extremely unprofessional! I had an appointment scheduled, and wasn't seen until an hour later. While I was waiting to be seen, the receptionist was getting massaged at the front desk by, who I think was a manager, or just some man that works there. The receptionist and an esthetician were guessing my ethnicity in Spanish- I don't think they realized I understand Spanish. The woman who did my Brazilian (I forgot her name, and no none gave it to me, including herself) was really nice, and apologized for my long wait. However, she didn't do a good job with my wax- I had to point out, several times, the areas that still had hair. When I got home, there were still so many areas that were missed. I would definitely NOT recommend this place AT ALL! read more

While I received an amazing eyebrow wax, my Brazilian wax did not go as well... The Brazilian wax was rushed and much more painful than usual. I left feeling very raw and with a few patches of hair still intact. I felt very itchy for the days that followed and ended up developing a staph infection in the area where my wax was. According to my doctor, my wax is the leading cause for my bacterial staph infection, which I am now on antibiotics for as the infection spread to the other wax areas. Would absolutely not recommend. read more

Not sure how to feel about the place. I bought the Groupon for Moroccan Oil Deep conditioning treatment and a haircut with a blow dry.. Needless to say, I was refused the conditioning treatment because my hair are too fine and thin (what?!). Blow dry was a bit too harsh and in general was overdone - I felt like she was trying to pull all of my hair out (with the strong hold hair spray on, it was a disaster). The end style was "babushka" from 80's, and I had to fix it in the car myself before getting anywhere. Not sure what was the reason for this kind of service - a personal issue or bare unprofessionalism and absence of style, maybe. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place. read more

I love this spa! It was my first time getting waxed with a hot wax ( i usually do sugaring) and it wasnt as bad as I thought it was. The room was very clean and Esther was amazing. She doesnt make you feel uncomfortable at all. I called them the day of and asked if they did walk ins. They accommodated me right away. Then they gave me the groupon deal and gave me a discount on underarm waxing! Definitely going back! read more

Mederma Medspa is the best choice for any laser treatment. They have latest state of the art technology to ensure best results as well as patient comfort. And best of all is the great customer service and bedside manners of the owner Dr. Harb. He is wonderful with the patients and tries to ensure everything possible to provide the best experience and comfort. Easy to book or reschedule appointments and great receptionist at the front. Results have been amazing in just 3-4 visits. Glad I chose them and highly recommend! read more

Horrible experience with HAIR TRANSPLANT. I can't believe I fell for Dr.Harb's sales tactics and lies and got ripped off. I was not even bald and only part of my hair was thinning. Dr.Harb convinced me to get a hair transplant saying I would get thicker hair back in 3 to 6 months. After a few months, I saw the transplanted area was worse than before the transplant, I had bad headaches for several months, and the transplanted area was super sensitive with sharp hair for more than a year, and they also planted hair in the wrong direction in front. Whenever I called, Dr.Harb kept saying wait for a few more months to see the final results or get more transplants, and I did not see any improvement even after 16 months. His facility is outdated and the technicians kept asking for better lighting, I should have stopped the procedure here and saved myself from this horror story. Please be cautious if you visit this facility. read more

Love this new salon. I was skeptical at first because I was getting an updo for a wedding that night. The stylist I think his name was saliba did an amazing job. Price was cheaper than most other places I go to and I have long thick hair. Highly recommend it. I will be coming here for all my upcoming events. I uploaded a pic of his work. I'll have to find one of the back of it cause it was even more beautiful than the front. read more

I had a very good experience at Maderma Medspa two weeks ago. I went to Maderma Medspa for a facial. Cindy made me feel very comfortable. My face is still glowing. The fine lines are still gone and it has been two weeks. I have had many compliments on how good my skin looks. I gave them the highest rating here on yelp. I highly recommend Maderma Medspa and look forward to going back again! Rita S. *** Maderma Medspa 1710 Milwaukee Avenue Glenview, IL 60025 read more

I recently had hair restoration (NeoGraft) performed at Maderma Medspa in Glenview. I was a little nervous at first but the doctors and technicians explained the procedure clearly which eased my concerns. I'd highly recommend the Medspa for anyone considering this or any of the other procedures they perform. It's been 8 months since I had 2000 grafts. I am so happy with the results I'd strongly recommend Dr. Harb and his team. Thank you. read more

I have been debating laser hair removal for months now and finally decided to do it! I googled places near me and stumbled upon Maderma Medspa. I read some reviews and decided to give them a call. I'm glad I did! The appointment was easy to make, staff was very kind and the price was very reasonable! On the day of the appointment, walked right in and was quickly seen by the doctor. He was very kind and knowledgeable. I had one treatment done right away! Quick, easy and painless!! Thank you!! Highly recommend this place!! read more

Came here off of Groupon, and I must say that the service I received was above and beyond my expectations. The Dr was extremely knowledgeable about the subject, I highly recommend this place for anyone especially other athletes who are facing issues with their toenails. read more

Terrible place! They chopped my hair off when i just wanted half an inch! It was literally THE WORST haircut I have ever gotten in my life. So uneven, extremely choppy and there were very short strands with long ones. Just terrible and I don't think that's the right word to use to describe how bad it was. Customer service was just as shitty. The hairstylist told me "I've never gotten a bad review in my life". Bullshit bitch. They refused to give me my refund so I had to go through my bank. I will never step foot in this place read more

*Do not bother with this place* Maderma Medspa Glenview, IL If i could have given No Star I would. I wanted to take advantage of a Groupon deal, so I made a 10:30am appointment. I arrived a little early incase I needed to fill out some paperwork but nothing was handed to me so, I sat in lobby area. At 10:30am (my appointment time) the receptionist is now handing me paper work, at about 11am...30min past my appt time she has me go into the room Dr Harb will see me. She has yet to explain why 30min past my appointment & still no sign of Dr Harb. It's now 11:15am I've given up on waiting. I have other errands lined up so I asked the receptionist for my paperwork and tell her "It's now 45min past my appt time i'm not waiting any longer." she replies "Oh doctor says he's 5min away" so I said when were you planning to tell me he wasn't even here and that he was running late? She says with no shame "I can shred your paperwork" I said I can shred my own paperwork. I advised her that in future she should let the client know if doc is running late or give a heads up so the client will then make the decision whether to Re-scheduling or Wait. As I'm now driving home i get a call. It's Dr Harb apologizing on why he was late and if I wanted to reschedule. I told him, this is no way to run a business I am not interested in Re-scheduling and to advise his receptionist of her error...An Appointment...Is An Appointment for a reason!! read more

I bought a Groupon for a Brazilian wax. First of all it is on me for not calling and double checking if they use hard wax. But I got there 10 minutes early and sat and waited almost 40 minutes for my appointment. No one else was in the place. The technician was nice but when I asked about the hard wax she said "no, didn't you call." But I decided to try it...she went very quickly barely giving me time to breathe. lt hurts way worse than the hard wax. They also use roll on wax, I should have left as soon as I saw that. But I paid so I was going to stay. I saw no sanitation precautions for equpiment, only the holding case and the paper sheet on the table with new towels. Thinking on it now, I'm a little upset I stayed. I should've asked Groupon for a refund and gone elsewhere. read more
