The wife has utilized this imaging facility several times now. As far as our insurance coverage goes, it's a much more affordable place than Lutheran General's Advanced Care Center for routine annual ultrasounds anyway. We didn't need to come here in years past, but something changed in our coverage at Lutheran General and the out-of-pocket charges are much more reasonable here. Absolute complete incompetence. They Rescheduled my appointment for Saturday and then we show up and they're not even open. If they had a problem with staying open on Saturday they should've told us they didn't even bother calling us. Not rescheduling at all going somewhere else good job you lost thousands of dollars. Scan was on time; quick and convenient. I was sort of surprised because when I've scheduled one at a hospital there was always a wait.

Reception was friendly and efficient. Waited about 20 min for my appointment which wasn't too bad. Justin the CT tech was great. He explained every step, stuck me with a needle for the contrast (didn't hurt a bit), and in 10 min my cAT scan was done. Cheaper than going to the hospital clinic. Disclaimer; I have not had any tests done here, my experience is phone/text scheduling only. I've never experienced something like this; their "scheduler" would put me on hold without telling me she'd do that. I was on hold about 6 times on a 9min call, and probably 7 of those were "on hold". I had everything ready; the order, insurance approval letter, and texted everything as requested but she was still saying she had to check "something" and would get lost. I'd continue talking only to realize I was on hold again. Last hold I just couldn't; I hung up. I've realized there are hundred of places conducting scan's within one mile radius. read more

Worse patient care/medical care ever at 3T imaging in Morton Grove, IL with this Indian Lady tech that should be fired and here is why: 1) didn't have me change in the locker room or put my stuff away in the locker 2) didn't ask me to take off any metal on me or jewelry which I still had my bra on which has metal and I had jewelry on.  3) Indian lady tech. Only tried once with a huge needle instead of the butterfly even though she knew that I was a hard stick and small vein for the IV Line to administer the iodine. Then she told me she should have done the butterfly .  4) Indian lady tech. Then took me straight to the MRI didn't even try to look again to put the line in. Which was very strange and not the norm. After coming to 3T imaging since 2018 5) Indian lady tech then gives me the eye plugs and it takes me a minute and she likes here just put the headphones on who cares it's going to cover anyhow.  6) Indian lady tech. Is now positioning me for the MRI and does a horrible job after closing the cage over my face she is shoving those form blocks on each side of my head and i feel my head isn't properly positioned not only that during the MRI my left leg falls off the table due to her shity postioning me and being in a rush to leave since I was the last patient. 7) Once the scan without dilation was completed, Indian lady tech. Then started looking for a vein to put in the line. She probably poked me over 5 times and she didn't even look and feel before stabbing me. Just rushing and stabbing me with the needle to the point of having severe pain trying in my hands won't stop shaking until I got home. At the end she didn't find a vein and told me I have to come back which really pissed me off.  8) The receptionist didn't even want to reschedule me before I left even though I told her I would leave for the country on Wednesday, she said they would call me today and they never did. Dr Richard Kim was extremely inappropriate and insulting. I would suggest a female patient NOT be seen by him and go to any other MRI facility. i will not go into details here but i did call in and make a formal complaint. I have never ever complained about a Dr. before. The office manager was "shocked". I asked to be passed on to his supervisor and did file what a thought was a formal complaint. Still waiting for a follow up call. Finally, I was charged and sent to collections. Can't believe i am being charged for the violating experience. read more

I had a few abdominal MRIs done in the past to monitor a condition. They all took over 35 minutes.. I had one at this place. It took maybe 10 minutes. So the scan showed nothing. They would not redo my MRI. I had a image and report with no results. I had the MRI done after 730 pm on a Friday night. The lazy technician must have had something to do because he rushed the scan. I called to speak to a supervisor 3 times..No response..The place is a rip off.... read more

You need an appointment before going here for any kind of x-rays! I forgot to call for an appointment but I was able to get in with about 45 mins wait! They have chairs that are far apart in the waiting room and hand sanitizers as you walk in! The charges are all different, depends if you have insurance or not! If it is self insured, the price is a little better than if you are covered by insurance! Which is really a great idea, since you have to paid out of pocket and no insurance will covered the service that you are having done here! Very negligent. I had to get an MRI done as an emergency, when I called they asked me several questions but never asked for my weight. They scheduled me in 7 days even though was urgent, I still waited patiently. On day before they called me to reschedule for the next day because the technician was not available. Fine, waited another day. I go to my appointment the following day, fill all of the forms, then I was informed that I weigh too much for the table and that they can't facilitate the MRI. I was very upset, because if there is a weight limit, that is a question they should ask when someone calls to make an appointment, the information that they asked and prioritized was my insurance information and how will I pay, not about the limitations that they have to provide needed service/test. Now I gotta make another appointment and wait again to get this done. The secretary was very dumb, very nice but dumb. Please ask questions before scheduling an appointment. read more

Dr. richard kim was extremely condescending, arrogant, and had a complete God complex. He talked down to me as if I was a child the whole appointment. I would not recommend this place/ doctor to anyone. I was completely shocked at the lack of bedside manner he had and the total disrespect he gave me during my time with him. I'm giving two stars only because the receptionists were so sweet and super efficient!!! I can't speak to the other doctors at this facility but if you get richard kim, try to request someone else. Doctors like this don't need to be dealing with people if they believe they are above them just because of some extra schoolwork. Staff was nice on site. They postponed my scan twice, but i understand I wasn't a life threatening situation. The doctor did make me super uncomfortable within 3 minutes by talking about How masks don't work, vaccines don't work, and "our idiot president shouldn't be pushing vaccines". Also presenting a complete lack of general knowledge on how vaccines work. I kept my mouth shut cuz I wanted a good scan. But definitely didn't ask as many questions as I wanted because this dr. made me uncomfortable. everyone else was sweet and efficient (after the first two cancellations where the doctor became unavailable). read more

Stay Away! This the most inefficient, unprofessional medical facility I have ever dealt with. Numerous errors and mis-steps in scheduling and relaying test prep details. Each time I call to reschedule again, due to their cancellations and giving me the wrong "prep" required, the person answering and scheduling was extremely rude and mis-informed, and continued to give me conflicting info. Finally with the right information needed to prepare for the test, i had my Ultrasound scheduled (3rd time is a charm....NOT), I get a call 1/2 hour prior to my test saying they needed to reschedule AGAIN, because they did not have a technician available. At that point I told them to forget it and I would be going elsewhere. Don't waste your time!! read more

I came here for a much needed procedure and while it wasn't near my home, I knew that they had a good reputation for the test I needed. I did have to wait a while past my appointment time but I get it and have no qualms about that. The staff was friendly and the waiting room was clean with plenty of seats. The ultrasound I received was extremely detailed and a very thorough process with all of my questions answered. Overall, I was happy with my experience there. read more

I have gone to 3 T imaging for many years and have always been very satisfied with the quality of service, ease of making an appointment, timeliness of appointment and post appointment response time for results. The results of the mammogram were always given to me by either a doc on site or my ordering doctor within a day of the exam and then I later received a hard copy result via the mail. This year is different. I had my mammogram 10 days ago. As of today I still do not know the result. I did receive an email from 3 T with the result a week ago however it requires one of two specific programs to open the document and then a password. Neither program is a typical program and my attempts to get the program were unsuccessful. Nor do I feel I should have to go out to find then download a progam that takes a large amount of space on my laptop to open a one page result of my mammogram. The reviews on the 7zip program were awful. With most saying they could not open the program. I am trying to understand why I want to spend 1-2 hours trying to get a program to find out it may or may not work in order to read the result of my mammogram. I called my primary care doc to see if she had the result. She claimed she didn't. Great. No call, no result. I spoke to a 3 T rep this morning and she was very kind and patient. She resent the email with the names of the two programs and the password. However that puts me back where I was 10 days ago. Have I mentioned that this is highly irritating? So this is the last time I will be going to 3 T. I will use a facilty closer to home one affiliated with my healthcare provider and I will be sure to find out before the procedure how the results are communicated. High tech is great, privacy is great but when it means that the efficiency of the organization is compromised then something is wrong. One final note. After 30 years of mammograms without issue this year my sternum is bruised. Overall a very disappointing experience. read more

I've used this place several times now over the last 6 years. The staff is all friendly; especially, the front desk which is almost unheard of in medical offices. I found it after painless hours of calling different places find the best prices. 3T not only gives very competitive cash rates, but bills out great rates to insurance as well and also accepts Medicaid if you have that as a primary or secondary like myself. It's unfortunate that my insurance benefits changed during covid because it used to only cost me my copay for all procedures done here. Now it's the 80/20 rate. read more

Nice, newish facility. The person who answered the phone to make the appointment was not very friendly - and couldn't offer a convenient time. It took a call from my doctor's front desk to get them to open up more convenient times. When I got there the receptionist was professional, but not friendly - and painfully slow with the check in process (for an MRI) - I wish she had just handed me the tablet to answer the questions directly. The MRI tech was friendly and seemed to know what she was doing. MRI room was nice and clean. No prolonged waits once I was through reception. I suggest the management rethink the training for front office to make this a 4, or 5 * consumer experience. My doctor seems to like the 3T magnet and radiologist for what that's worth. read more

Nice place. My doctor ordered an ultrasound of my foot to check for nerve damage. When I walked into 3T, the waiting room was full of women. I suppose this place is more for pregnant women getting ultrasounds, so it was a little weird walking in. One thing to note is that the waiting room felt very hectic and crowded even though it was only about half full. There were a lot of people waiting in line to either check in with the front desk or pick something up. There were 3 women behind the counter and all were on the phone. That is the main reason I'm not giving 5 stars. Once you get past the waiting room to go back, everything is great. They are very quick and efficient, and the whole office feels fairly new. The doctors and technicians seem very knowledgeable and proficient. I'm sure no one really wants to go to the doctor or have medical imagining done, but if you're going to go it might as well be a nice place. Everyone there, even at the front desk, was very nice. If they could just make the check in process a little easier everything would be great. read more

After checking in they failed to mention on the phone that self paying will be a 2% charge if you pay by card. Speaking to the office manager she stated to that we always mention that over the phone. Is it possible to give zero stars? Absolutely the worst service I have ever experienced at any establishment. I arrived at 9:10 for my 9:15 appointment and was the first person to check in. Despite all of this I sat and waited for over an hour for my literal 2 minute CT scan. After my scan I clearly stated to the person helping me that I needed 2 CDs to give to my doctors. 20 minutes of waiting later they finally give me my CD WITH ONLY ONE CD IN THE CASE. I had to wait another 20 minutes for my second CD and they misplaced and had to find the original first CD they gave me. I honestly felt like I was on a Saturday night live skit with all the clowns that work here. Absolutely zero communication can be see in this workplace other than the hushed whispers and giggles at the front desk like they're gossiping 12 year old girls. Also let it be known that prior to my appointment I was told the entire process would take no longer than 30 minutes, absolutely ridiculous. Honestly don't know who in their right mind would employ a single person that worked there, but thanks for making me miss Christmas breakfast with my family. Not one apology was ever given either. I was handed a bunch of papers while waiting for my MRI. I signed several consent forms including one that stated that in case your insurance does not cover 3D rendering, you could be charged $150.00. I was aware that I had met all my deductibles and after Aetna paid them in full, I was still billed $150.00. I called Aetna and they told me that I should not have signed the consent form and that was just an extra money grab by 3T Imaging. I wound up paying the bill anyway but I would not recommend this company to anyone. read more

I was referred to 3T imaging for a MRI on my left foot. When I called to make an appointment either it was an appointment after 6:00 PM or a Saturday appointment . I took the Saturday appointment on March 27th at 9:00 AM. When I arrived I was told that the machine was not working. She said she left a message for me which I never got. They rescheduled my appointment for Saturday April 3rd at 3:00 PM. I showed up at 2:50 on April 3rd and the office was closed. I called and was told that the machine was broke......again. I asked if it was down all week and never got an answer to that question. Again, they wanted to reschedule and I decided that this place was unprofessional and wanted no part.
