Very friendly technicians- especially Ultrasound Tech- Anna. I'm glad that they hired a lady now, and she is fantastic, full of knowledge, and empathy. I am very understanding and compassionate for seniors still working but the lady working front desk needs a position that is not as demanding. So much went wrong. I called to verify they were open and she placed me on hold for 5 minutes just to let me know they were open. A nurse/medical assistant stated to her while I was in line that the wait time is nearing 90 minutes. She recommended that I go to the Niles location but when I called them they had the same 90 wait time so I stayed. I completed registration forms on their iPad. I wanted to verify my place in line and she took 4 minutes locating me, asked some questions and was all over the place and still couldn't locate info but told me to have a seat. Their policy is quite interesting....they accept walk ins but if someone is more traumatic then u will get dumped or if they have an appointment. I completed registration forms at 10:42a per message sent to me; I didn't get seen til after 12:45p. Patience was definitely needed. The medical assistant and medical provider were nice ladies, did their job. I was able to obtain a copy of the forms they had to submit to my job. The lady at the front desk questioned how I got a copy, told her to schedule me for follow up and work on her speed there and took papers with me. I hope I never have another work injury and if I do I will go to the hospital instead.

I recently was at another doctor for a follow up appointment and the assistant asked if I would be able to contact this office for a copy of my records. They said they would locate them and fax them over. They literally took care of it within 15 minutes and my doctor was able to review these notes during my appointment which saved me time and a follow up appointment. Thank you!

If you call the corporate office number, if you can even find it, they can't help you because they are a different office. Midwest Center means nothing other than a common name, like going to a Shell gas station, one has nothing to do with another. Took me multiple requests, over a period of more than 3 years to get my medical records transferred to my new doctor, which were finally transferred as of this year, 2025. Good Lord. What a frickin joke. Please, please, don't waste your time there. See previous review by me if you want the full story. Sep 9, 2022Previous review After being a patient in this practice, long before it became MCWHC, like two decades long, my previous doctors retired, one after the other. Since the changes in doctors in this office, that for me began this year, it was a nightmare to get an appointment, no one seemed to know who was where and when. Had a procedure scheduled for March and received a call 3 days prior regarding the meds and was told that the procedure needed to be pre-paid, even though I have very good insurance. Was 'allowed' to make arrangements since I hadn't been notified and providing that I pay a portion up front. Subsequent billing to my insurance company was submitted with my name reading two different ways and insurance company processed the claims as two different people with two different deductibles. While in direct contact with the billing department, it took me 4 months to get it straight with the insurance company. All along, I continued to make monthly payments since I didn't originally know where the fault lay. Once I discovered it was the bill submissions that caused the errors and delay in payment, the claims were corrected by the insurance company. The very same day that I receive the corrected statement from insurance, I received a voice mail that I was being sent to collection. I returned the call and told them to do whatever they felt was necessary. Not one time did I receive an apology for the months of agony dealing with the insurance company that had to go through every single claim from every single provider this year to resolve the issue. The billing department of MCWHC further claimed that I had not made a payment since March when, in fact, I had paid over $800 while all of this was happening. After receiving nonsense responses from billing, telling me where to look on their website but in no way providing confirmation of my payments, I finally began sending emails directly to Dr. Clear to no avail. My emails have gone completely ignored. Last communication I had with her was that she was going to reach out to my oncology gyne for a consult and get back to me, that's right, oncology. Never heard another word. Maybe I am dying, I guess I won't know from Dr. Clear. The last email I sent to Dr. Clear, I made it clear that no response is a response. After reading all of the complaints here on Yelp, I could not agree more with the rudeness of the billing office and the office staff. They could care less about your health, they are all in for the money. I told Dr. Clear that it is unfortunate that she and others came into a practice that was built long and hard by others that they are destroying day by day. Very sad. Please go somewhere else as I am.
