Anyway, the place was clean, the appointment was fun, and she got me back into alignment! Highly recommended!

Her ability to quickly diagnose and effectively treat what ails you is top notch (she's witty, too). You'll walk away feeling better in the moment, and come home with exercises to keep you right between visits. The facilities are spotless and contemporary. Everything is clean (unlike many many of the big name-brand physical therapy facilities), and all of their equipment is new and modern. I chose Dr. Weiler as my physician upon moving to Chicago 7 years ago and every time I see her I…read moremarvel at what a truly great choice that was. This time it was an injury to my arm. I misjudged the weight of a crate and ouch, that hurt. I assumed it was a simple muscle strain, but I'm no physician. Dr. Weiler, however, recognized my symptoms as consistent with a more serious injury and, thanks to her and her very professional staff, I had an X-ray, an MRI and saw a specialist, all within four days of my initial visit with her. There's no way I could've achieved all these appointments on my own. It's only because of Dr. Weiler and her staff that I got in to see a specialist that very same week. UPDATE: Within 10 days of that first appointment with Dr. Weiler, I learned I'd suffered a 95-percent separation of my bicep, and had the surgery necessary to correct it. Yes. All within 10 days. If not for Dr. Weiler, the injury I mistook for a simple strain could've very easily become so severe that even surgery wouldn't have been an option. Besides that, the specialist to whom she referred me was among the best of the best. Another win for Dr. Weiler. She's got a lot of those.

After such great care in 2024 for plantar fasciitis, there was no hesitation as to where to get the best PT. I returned in February with a frozen shoulder and could not have been in better care. I did go down the on-line search rabbit-hole and knew that this was going to be a long process and that can feel extremely defeating. With the inability to reach and the pain with movement, I appreciated that after a detailed overview in the initial visit, it was recognized that a big focus needed to be for me to be able to sleep through the night. As a side sleeper, I already had a month of not being able to sleep in my bed but on a couch forcing me on my back. This certainly wasn't a fast process, but we got there! Slowly I was able to do more of the things that I couldn't and had taken for granted. I can't thank Travis and Erin enough for consulting with me when I needed to decide whether to do surgery (as was suggested by my orthopedic doctor whom I had seen at a 5 week follow-up) or to continue with just PT. Their knowledge and guidance kept me on the right track. By the time I was discharged, I was not 100% but close enough that I knew that I had gained the knowledge needed to continue on my own. They also made sure to email me the most current list of stretches to work on at home. I miss the friendly 'hellos' that I would get when entering the facility and the chatting to get to know the folks who helped me. Thank you Travis, Erin, Sean and Jana! And thank you Katie for working with my insurance when we went through the glitches. All of you continue to shine like the superstars that you are!

Long review - but worth the read if you are looking for the best PT team…read more Sports & Ortho Sauganash is amazing! My Background: Having had 2 full knee replacements and now a hip, all at a "younger age", I have plenty of PT experience with most of the major players. Sports & Ortho - Sauganash team is a standout. Location: For me it is very accessible, nearby, street level and easy parking. It is a small location but it has all the equipment needed. Appointments and scheduling: They have both onsite staff and remote staff who support all Sports & Ortho locations and they respond extremely quickly, both to/through voice and email/website contacts. It was simple and quick to get an appointment and schedule my PT (3x per week). Hours of operation seemed odd on the website but IRL actually work well. I have never had a problem getting an appointment within my schedule. The Team: Assume this is the culture all over, but certainly the Sauganash team - therapists and the floor tech here are all extremely nice and well trained in their work. They know each and every patient by name and greet them coming/going and perhaps more importantly all of them have "eyes on" all patients regardless of whether it is their own and know any special needs, issues, things they should or shouldn't be doing or experiencing etc. They also understand how to work with /what works for you much quicker, and can customize and adjust your/my therapy sessions to provider faster and most effective progress. Everyone pitches in, the therapist talk to the patients, (not each other - unless they are collaborating about a patient). The PT/PA spends a solid 45 minutes with patients "hands-on", full attention, each and every session. I have worked with all of the PT/PAs (Travis, Erin, Deanna and even their intern Michael), every one of them is outstanding. Cam is the only floor tech I have worked with - he is a natural, very helpful, attentive and kind. In summary I can't recommend them highly enough - if there were more stars to award I would.

Starting physical therapy at PT Solutions - Uptown has been a total game changer for me! Coming off…read moreof surgery, I was worried about doing PT because I have never done it before and didn't have much experience doing exercise. The team here is absolutely incredible and will work with you right where you're at. I have learned several new exercises and have been taught a lot about how my body works. Circling back to this team, wow! I have no idea HOW they managed to get such a 10/10 crew together. They are functional, detailed, punctual, caring and sooo personable. You will find yourself cracking up several times a session. The Therapists: Arguably, the kind of therapists you have will determine the kind of PT experience you will have and so I'm going to linger here for a bit. I'm so lucky to have access to Mike, Chris and Madi! They are fantastic. Tip for future patients: Be open to change, in the sense that you may rotate between the therapists due to scheduling. Don't let that deter you at all! I trust Madi, Chris and Mike with my life! All three of them completely know what they're doing and will care for you. In addition to them three, Jayla is a rehab specialist (I think is the title) and is there to support you and work with you as well! She is awesome and fun to be around. The team discusses patients with each other and they can see each others notes from previous sessions. Continuity of care is clearly a top priority for them. Not to mention that they are some of the kindest people ever and treat everyone with top respect. I have seen them treat patients who don't speak English, elderly patients, children and everyone in between; Folks of all abilities too. Their methods are great -- I feel like each therapist has their own unique approach to treatment and it's cool to have that variation. Additionally, they have cupping and needling services available! So many options for you to explore with them in your treatment. They are a prime example of what patient-centered healthcare should look like. Flexibility: I can also compliment how flexible they are with scheduling. When things come up, they will do their absolute best to make it so that you don't have to miss a session. Mariana, Jayla, and Lillian are total pros at making things happen and they are the best supporting staff you could ask for.... And I didn't even know PT clinics had supporting staff! Health and Safety: They keep the place very clean and sanitize tables and change pillow cases in between patients. The bathroom is always clean and stocked. The facility is well cared for. I can't rave about this place enough. I am sure my family/friends think it is weird how much I talk about my PT sessions, but I can't help it. I must give flowers where flowers are due!

I called them back, explaining that I was on the way and my appointment was for 6:30, per my first interaction.
