Where 2 start? First of all I applaud them for being open on Sunday. Secondly the waiting room was clean, bright but bland decor. Third, it goes downhill from there. I am very understanding and compassionate for seniors still working but the lady working front desk needs a position that is not as demanding. So much went wrong. I called to verify they were open and she placed me on hold for 5 minutes just to let me know they were open. A nurse/medical assistant stated to her while I was in line that the wait time is nearing 90 minutes. She recommended that I go to the Niles location but when I called them they had the same 90 wait time so I stayed. I completed registration forms on their iPad. I wanted to verify my place in line and she took 4 minutes locating me, asked some questions and was all over the place and still couldn't locate info but told me to have a seat. Their policy is quite interesting....they accept walk ins but if someone is more traumatic then u will get dumped or if they have an appointment. I completed registration forms at 10:42a per message sent to me; I didn't get seen til after 12:45p. Patience was definitely needed. The medical assistant and medical provider were nice ladies, did their job. I was able to obtain a copy of the forms they had to submit to my job. The lady at the front desk questioned how I got a copy, told her to schedule me for follow up and work on her speed there and took papers with me. I hope I never have another work injury and if I do I will go to the hospital instead. read more

We had an excellent experience at urgent care in Park Ridge. I know I can sometimes provide a lot of details when explaining what's going on, but the doctor was patient and understanding. Rather than brushing off the symptoms he genuinely took our concerns seriously, and he carefully worked with us to find a solution. My personal feeling is that you are placing your health and well-being in jeopardy by using this facility. I have been there on two separate occasions, I found the nurses, and nurse practitioners to be accommodating but the protocols are unacceptable. I left a message at the location, I was seen at to arrange a call back I was under the impression that I would receive a call after the provider finished with the next patient. When I didn't hear back, I called the telephone number listed on Google. You speak with a robot by the name of Amelia who asks a series of questions to send you to the right location. I was referred to an incorrect location multiple times it was a Saturday and I knew I was running out of time if I was going to reach someone. I told the girl no matter how many times I dialed I was consistently referred to the wrong location. She said she couldn't help me. I said do I drive there to get someone to talk to me and she said that was an alternative. So I drove there, at which time the young lady at the reception desk didn't seem particularly interested in my problem. She accused me of yelling when in fact, I was simply angry and I told her I'm not yelling. I'm just angry at which time I began whispering. I am an 81 year -old stroke patient who has to use a walker. She told me to sit down. She was rude, condescending, and not the least bit interested in making me feel better. She was defensive and responsible for involving someone else sitting in the reception area in our conversation. A five-year-old child would have known enough to not have the conversation in an open reception area. I asked to speak to the building supervisor at which time she put me on the phone in the reception area with the supervisor. Once again, everyone in the reception area heard what was going on. The receptionist humiliated me, and exacerbated a sensitive situation . I would never put myself or a family member in that situation ever again. This is a caution to anyone using this urgent care center. read more

I came in yesterday and was given a diagnosis. I mentioned the side effect I'm experiencing yesterday. The medication prescribed doesn't treat the complication. I called today and was told that they changed EMR's today and therefore the person in charge had no access to those notes. So now, I am waiting and being charged again. This place is a joke. I made an appt and arrived early. 1 person in the waiting room and they took me back right away, no one else in rooms. I just wanted a strep test. Nurse took the swab right away. Then let the wait begin. I waited. And waited. And waited. Doc locked her head in "oh wrong room" and went to other patients that arrived after me (rooms were empty when I arrived besides a male and I heard female voices). I waited more than nurse came in "oh you are still here". I asked for my results and was told someone would be with me. After over an hour of waiting I was ready to walk out. Finally doc(?) came back in. Negative for strep. But there's Covid going around. Goes to get the light to look at my throat , it's broken. I give her my phone with me light to look. No checking ears, lymph nodes or chest. Just looks at my throat and offers to call in a prescription to gurgle. No thanks. She was in the room a whole 2 minutes. I expressed my frustration with the wait time for a step test and walked out. This will be fun fighting my insurance for a 2 minute visit. read more

I went in with bladder infection symptoms. i was told no bladder infection through a urine test and at my age it is incontinance . When I got home I read the paper they gave me showing the results of the urine test. it said I had blood in my urine which was abnormal. I called them and was told they sent the urine out for a culture. I said "Are you sure as it doesn't say that on my paper". Megan on the phone said for me to hold on while she checked. She came back saying no culture had been sent out. I asked Megan about the blood in the urine and she said it is NORMAL!!! It is not normal . I booked an appointment online, they asked me to pre check in. I have trouble taking pictures of my ID & INS card so I did not proceed to pre check in. I arrived at the clinic, the cashier asked me check in using the text on my phone that I should have received. I proceeded to check in and fill my information out, I took blurry photos of my cards because why can't you just scan it in person? Anyways finished check in and was asked for my insurance card. I asked if they wanted my ID, they said no. Weird? I work in healthcare too, enjoy my blurry ID picture? Anyway they checked for a copay and I forgot my physical card. I offered apply pay and I pulled up a digital card from BOA. They do not have a digital card reader for apply pay and my digital card would not go through when typed (prob because they wanted to keep the card on file but digital cards are one time use), I stated I would go to the bank and get cash. They don't take cash. It's 2026 why don't you have a digital card reader or take cash? Then I go online, put my information for them to bill me later, it is accepted but there is obviously no balance because the service didn't happen yet. You lost a $150 -300 (maybe even more) from my insurance and a $25 co pay from me. A $25 copay, $25!!!!!!!. I told the cashier I'd return later with my physical card but what's the point. The cashier asked if they should cancel my appointment, i said yes. I will look elsewhere where before returning. You basically check yourself in on your phone until the cashier asks for your copay. Please invest in a digital card reader or at least a cash box. It's nbd, I can go to the er for $0 at my job with my insurance but choose this place for peace of mind. I did forgot my physical card my fault, but I have 3 digital cards on my Apple Pay, and I offered like 5 solutions just to walk out. What is crazy I I used to work here but we accepted cash and had a guarda pick up. This feels very vending machine like , place your order and wait for a dr to roll out to assist. I see all the negative reviews and think the location must play into that, but I have been going to the Niles location in strip mall on Golf Road for years and every experience was excellent. My daughter was diagnosed by a retired Asian female MD who moonlights there and she was so empathetic and very thorough and perfect diagnosis. I had a finger injury and they were quick to treat me and alleviate the pain. Staff and checkin was effortless and not a super long wait like you would experience in ER. I think most I ever waited as hour long and like that you can schedule appointment and come in then. I would return here with no hesitation. read more

One Physician on call never came in to see me at 1130 in a room for almost an hour then told have an emergency and will not be seen for another 20 minutes. It's end of day Friday & nada, nothing. If you need a good urgent care, go to advocate (des plaines or skokie) or north shore in Skokie. Never bring a child here! We brought our 2 year old who has a strep throat and two ear infections here, and the Nurse was incredibly rude with our child. He scolded our 2 year old during the appointment repeatedly, until my wife had to tell him to stop. A two year old with strep throat and ear infections is naturally going to be fussy, and the nurse did not even attempt to be patient with him. I first went here when I had bronchitis and had a good experience. They gave me a nebulizer treatment and a prescription for an inhaler. However, they told me to follow up with my primary care doctor or come back within 3 days to make sure things sounded better. I made an appt to come back at 8:30am on a Wednesday. I followed all of the steps to register and checkin online. I texted them saying I was here and the message said to wait in my car until they messaged me and I come inside. After waiting 10 minutes, I realized that they weren't open even though the posted opening time on their door was 8am!! No one was inside the building! What a waste of time!! They called me at 9am to apologize for opening late and asking if I was still waiting in the parking lot! What a joke. read more

My regular doc wouldn't see me because some of my symptoms lined up with covid symptoms, so they sent me here. Physicians Immediate Care was way better than my doc's office! I was able to easily schedule an appointment and found the interface super user friendly and quick. They had an opening as soon as I needed it. There was plenty of free parking across the street. Then they let me do my paperwork remotely from the van (again user-friendly interface and it was quick and easy) and then they called when it was time to go in. They took a covid test at the door. Results in 15 minutes! Then I waited a very short while and was seen. Everyone was kind and polite. The only thing they couldn't do was lab work so they sent me to Quest Diagnostics for that (which my doc would've done as well). Today, they called me with the results of the first lab which is in. I've never had a doc call me as the results come in-- they always wait until they're all in, and then it seems to take forever, and actually usually they just upload the information to a portal or mail it or something and I don't even get a phone call. Walked in to get a TB test for my school program, and they were very thorough as far as taking necessary precautions to be safe in a medical facility. The wait to get into a room to be seen was a little over an hour which is also a little disappointing BUT, it is to be expected at a walk in clinic especially during these times. Overheard a conversation from the front desk that they DO NOT ACCEPT HMO policies. So be warned before going. After I got into a room to be seen a waited about a minute when a nurse walked in to conduct the test and was very prompt and quick about the whole procedure (which I've had done before). Afterwards I asked for one more thing to be checked out on me and a PA came in shortly after. Unfortunately the weren't able to diagnose the issue and gave me a referral which was nice. Afterwards the told me to come back in 48-72 hours to have my test results read to me and gave me a window to arrive. I would and will go back when the time comes when I need medical assistance. I went here for a pre-employment physical for a travel nurse job as I wouldn't be able to get into my primary care physician for a couple months. I scheduled the appointment online and I had to upload a copy of my insurance card as I had checked the box stating I would be using my insurance. I got to the facility and they said they do not bill insurance for physicals. The cost was $75 which is way more than what my insurance co-pay would have been. There is no where on the website that states they do not take insurance for physicals of any kind, it was a total surprise when they said I had to pay out of pocket. When I got into a room the exam table hadn't been cleaned so the tissue covering the table was obviously used (not just a butt print, the ENTIRE length of the table) and the tech/MA/CNA did not wipe the table down before rolling new paper on it. There was also a paper pillow case on the pillow that he did not change between me and the other patient. I also had scheduled an appointment and wasn't seen until about 40 mins after my scheduled time. The provider I saw was awesome, that's why I gave 2 stars, literally just for her, the facility and the brand as a whole, not a single star. I definitely won't use this brand of Urgent Care centers again as their website is very misleading. read more

I had already been waiting for an hour prior to be called, and then it took 30-40 minutes for my results and a nurse to come. I also went here prior for a fractured toe, and their website said they had an x-ray and we showed up and they sent us someplace else. They didn't have an x-ray available like they said. read more

PROFESSIONAL, THOROUGH, KNOWLEDGEABLE My review is based on coming here 4 times in the last 2 years. The medical professionals at this location are professional, very thorough and extremely knowledgeable. I appreciate that I can go on line and schedule an appointment. I appreciate that once I arrive and check in at the front desk I don't have a long wait time. The most I waited is 5 to 10 minutes. I appreciate that they accept insurance. Bring your insurance card and driver's license (or State ID) to your 1st appointment. The young lady at the front desk will make a copy and place it in your medical file. I take care of my co-pay at the beginning. This way, I can leave immediately upon finishing. Plus, it saves time! I've been treated here for bronchitis, an upper respiratory infection, strep throat, a fractured wrist and laryngitis. I appreciate that they have the proper equipment to perform an x-ray. They don't have an MRI machine. They sent me to a facility less than 200 ft. away from their location. I had to have an MRI for my left wrist which revealed several ripped tendons. Results came in 24 hours later. Fast! The MRI building is located on Northwest Highway & Washington (north east corner). I was given an official MD note to have an MRI performed since my left wrist wasn't healing properly. Several months later I was still having discomfort and pain in my left wrist. There is free parking behind the building. However, the parking is very limited. It can be a little challenging to find parking sometimes. The check in process is EZ. You might not actually see a MD and may see a physician assistant instead. I don't have a problem with this because the physician assistants I have seen here are very knowledgeable, thorough and professional which is refreshing. NOTE: I have seen MDs here too. The only complaint I have is that the employees (RN, lab tech, PA or MD) don't introduce themselves. I only know their names based on a name tag the individual is wearing. read more

A lot of bad reviews here. When I need an urgent care, I know i'm going to have to wait. I wait my turn, but once I get called in, I am taken seriously and quickly. Every time i've been here, they run every single test they can to rule out what sickness I have. Been going here a lot since my doctor only has appointments 2-3 months in advance and I always feel good about coming here. Are the people the most personable? No not necessarily.
