I have been a loyal customer to Anna since 2016 for her Mink eyelash extensions. I've seen her business grow and clientele increase throughout the years, and it's all due to her hard work ethic and dedication to hone her craft. Anna is an amazing esthetician who is personable. The quality of products she utilizes are high grade, the cleanliness of the building is always kept, and of course where she truly shines is her skills in applying lashes. She takes care never to rush the process, but is timely. I recall the first time I ever got them done was with her and she was able to recommend a length that suited me perfectly. My lashes look beautiful and natural every time, and they typically last 3-4wks until a refill is needed which is her recommended time frame. Anna is so knowledgeable, kind and patient. I go to the same location for Laser Hair Removal and Ness recommended her for a lash lift and tint. I've had my lashes done at other places, but none compare to the service she provided me. The room is peaceful and cozy. Her hands and touch are soft and I nearly fell asleep. Usually when I get any lash service, extensions or a lift I never get sleepy cause I'm always anxious, but the energy in her spa is fantastic. My lashes lasted 8 weeks. She also educated me on why I should get a tint too and not just a lift - that was a game changer for me, they really popped! Thank you, Anna! I am sad to see these 1 star reviews on here for a few reasons. 1. They are from people who purchased a Groupon. As someone who used to work for Groupon Corporate for many years in the merchant support division I can attest to the types of people who buy Groupons. Groupon purchasers are not the best clientele. They are looking for a quick deal and often times do not become repeat customers. Groupon preys on business owners offering them a marketplace to showcase their business and they take 50% of the business owner's profit. Groupon argues the customer will come back as a full paying clients after their initial Groupon discount service. But statistically that doesn't happen. I've worked with many business owners that claim Groupon hurt their business in the long run. Anna deserves the best of the best of Park Ridge's high end clientele so if you can pay full price, go see her, her services are worth the full price so she can be paid a respectful wage for her time and knowledge. 2. Anna is an amazing professional and the negative reviews are from people who never even received a service from her!! They shouldn't even be allowed to review her. Their real complain should be with Groupon or themselves for lack of reading the fine print on the Groupons or letting it expire due to personal reasons that don't relate to Anna. Maybe have compassion for Anna and running a business, we don't know what people's personal lives are so if you expect kindness for your own situations you should show kindness and grace to others as well...like maybe don't buy Groupons now that you know the truth about the profit margins for business owners trying to make it in a competitive market. What these negative reviewers are not realizing is Anna is most likely not making money off of doing the service but is doing her best to accommodate while manage her business and fund all the expenses of running a successful lash and facial spa. 3. Negative reviews can really hurt people's livelihood, Anna doesn't deserve this criticism. I decided to give microblading a try. I usually have to either pencil in my eyebrows or play around with the brush on gels. I wanted to make my eyebrows stand out, and look like they haven't been plucked to death. (Which they have been, high school years). I was always hesitant about these kinds of procedures, they seem very invasive with the cutting of the skin, but contrary to my belief, this was not that bad. I did like the fact that Anna spent her time explaining the whole procedure in detail. And believe me, I had a lot of questions. Not only did Anna explain everything very well, she also matched my eyebrows to match my face shape, and explained to me where exactly my eyebrows need to end. (Very insightful, had my eyebrows too short for years). Really enjoyed the procedure the time flew by, it didn't hurt at all and the results are really good. A Little bit dark at first but from what Anna said that's normal and the eyebrows will fade a little bit and look more natural. Overall experience was great, very clean and sterile environment. I chose this place due to pricing being reasonable compared to other locations offering similar services and I really want a place I can come back to for regular services. Beautification Spa is clean with Covid-19 measures in place and Anna was super professional throughout the whole visit. The facial I got was amazing! I have given it a bit of time before writing this review. My skin feels great, I would definitely have to keep up with the facials to see lasting results. I came in with (what I consider) problematic skin - dehydrated but there's bumps and acne, and Anna did a great job with extractions, which is what I really look forward to. Even the very next day, my skin seemed to be little brighter and "cleaner"/smoother.
