I got the second longest length with the max fullest amount of lashes per eye. For the record, I have short and sparse thin Asian natural lashes. Anyways, I got them done around the end of November for an European trip. It's now the end of January and the extensions are still on. Obviously, a lot less on each eye but I haven't gotten a refill and it is still noticeable that I have lash extensions. These extensions have withstood European wind and Chicago freezing temperatures and snow. Plus, they are comfortable. An important factor to note though is that I don't wear makeup, so it helps that I'm not washing off eye makeup. Regardless, I think they are absolutely worth the price , which is definitely more on the affordable end. I have gotten lots of extensions in the past living previously in New York and other suburbs of Chicago. This is my new favorite and go to place. They deserve more credit for sure. read more

This was my first time to Gorgeous Lashes and this will be my go to spot here on out. I have shopped a few places and there were some issues with each I got hybrid mink lashes, eyebrows waxed and tinted. Here's why I liked Gorgeous Lashes: --Yura is professional and pleasant. She took the time to show me my options, let me know the prices, and provide recommendations. This was part of the appointment and there wasn't a fee for it. I feel like so many lash places nickel and dime you so there's that element of not knowing what you end up paying during your appointment. When that happens, I never go back. I don't like price gouging. --My lashes are lightweight. I don't feel them there. I ended up getting hybrid, mink lashes. Before, I always had natural/classic style with synthetic lashes. My hybrid enhance my eyes without the fake look. --Either it is the product she uses or the way she applied the lashes but my eyes did not get irritated with her. At other places, the adhesive would sting my eyes or irritate them. --Her other customers that arrived said their lashes stay on for a month. My lashes from Lash Lounge lasted a week . --Gorgeous Lashes prices are way better than other places in the city but the quality is better. Gorgeous Lash is a hidden gem in Golf Mill Mall! Since I've discovered Yura and Colleen at Gorgeous Lash, I've become a lash addict and come back every 3-4 weeks. I usually don't get lash extensions on the regular basis (special occasions only), but I am so glad that I found Yura at Gorgeous Lash Extensions for my wedding. I made an appointment online and it was very easy to do (I love not having to call!!). Day of, Yura confirmed my appointment via text and sent me instructions on how to find the location easily inside Golf Mill mall. Unfortunately for me, I went to the wrong door and ended up running across the mall to make the appointment in time. Don't be like me and definitely use GPS to park at the nearest mall entrance. It is in between AMC and JC Penny. If you don't see either as you are walking in, you are not at the most optimal entrance! The overall location is very clean, well lit and has a great ambience. I feel like I'm getting pampered as soon as I walk in. Yura showed me a variety of lash styles (I booked an appointment for Elegant (120 pcs)) and recommended a style that I absolutely LOVED (I don't remember the name but it had a dramatic wing at the end). I looked AMAZING on my wedding day and I was so glad that I didn't have to do like any eye makeup the days before and after the wedding. I forgot how easy living with lash extensions was. This is the 3rd place that I've tried lash extensions ever and I will say that Yura is the most experienced. She takes her time and makes sure you like the result before you leave. I will also say that out of all my experiences, I didn't feel that my skin was getting pulled at when she put on the protective eye gels(?). It has been 3.5 weeks since my appointment and my extensions still look GREAT.
