I was at old orchard mall and wanted to get them done nearby before a trip, so I found this salon. It's in a small strip mall. I called ahead and asked how much an eyebrow wax is. She told me $10 cash only. I had $9 and some change. She did great with the waxing, it was quick and I don't have as much redness as I usually do which is amazing! She also threaded them after to clean them up, which I've never had done before but it was not painful at all. She said they don't take change, so if you need to pay with card you can but they have an extra dollar fee for using a card. I didn't mind it. I ended up loving my eyebrows more than the place I always go to, which is much further away. I will come back next time for sure! She did an amazing job.

I am thinking this pivot of the service was due to the pressure of attending to all the waiting customers, and since there was only one person on shift, everything was rushed through. The results were okay, but could have been a bit more cleaned up and more attentive. Due to the high reviews on this place, we thought it would have been exponentially better. They do have about four chairs so there's space for more business for sure. I did a combo of wax and thread. The lady pretty much dove right in but listened to my quick preferences. She gave me an arched style while keeping my brows thick per my request. Now I have a place to stop on my way home from work every couple weeks and I don't feel guilty for my self care considering the very affordable price. I always get a no-chip gel manicure, and I was surprised when they did 2 layers of gel base, and THREE layers of gel polish. All places I've been to only does one base coat and 2 (at best) of gel polish. I believe my nail tech was Quynh and she really made sure to evenly coat my nails, and she even coated all of the sides (which is a problem I've had with other places). You can even specify a hairstylist should you have a preference. Someone from the salon called to check in and ensure I had the best experience by asking a few basic questions about what I wanted for a cut. I was really impressed by the thoroughness in follow-up. When I got to the salon, check in was quick, the front desk kindly asked to hang up my coat, and there was no wait time (despite arriving slightly early for my appointment). You could also request a refreshment, and they have one of the most extensive coffee menus I've ever seen! The wash, cut, and styling were all done seamlessly, with my stylist periodically asking clarifying questions along the way. I paid at the door, and inquired when I should be back. Another staff member knowledgeably mentions about 6-8 weeks to maintain the shape of the cut. Everyone was so warm and kind. Not to mention, there's great parking in the front and in the alley.
