Walgreens has many holiday picture discounts, which I appreciate. I have used Walgreens picture service for birthdays, graduations and funeral / home going services. Ordering online then pick up is very easy. I recently bought Advent calendars for family. The Gummy Candy Advent calendars were sold out at most Walgreens except this one in Niles, IL. This experience was horrible! I tried buying this ball and the worker grabbed it from my hand. He kicked me out for absolutely no reason. I also tried calling the store to find the worker and the manager of the store didn't take me seriously and ended the call thinking it was a prank call. Would not recommend coming here go to another Walgreens. read more

I stopped in to drop off a FedEx package. The cashier directed me back to the photo counter. I rang the button and someone came to help me in a few minutes. I already had a prepaid label so I just needed someone to notate that I dropped off a package. It took me in total about 7 minutes. This location seems understaffed. read more

The pharmacy here is always frazzled, late, disorganized. Even before Covid. If you call the pharmacy, you'll be on hold for 10 minutes, and then the pharmacist will pick up the phone and hang up on you. It happens most of the time I call. They just hang up and make you wait another 10 minutes. It's a shame this is so poorly run but there are many better pharmacies within a mile. read more

Pharmacy is awful. On hold for 30 Minutes. Take your info and say they're busy will call you back. No call back. Wait on hold another 30 Minutes and they tell you your insurance won't approve. Meanwhile get letter from insurance company that meds are approved. Call back wait another 30 minutes and they miraculously find a way to approve it. Incompetent and slow. I liked it...helpful staff and pretty clean and organized. I usually go to the pharmacy here for my needs and the pharmacist is knowledgeable and helpful on my questions on a first aid kit and my moms diabetic needs. Parking is super plentiful and there is also a drive up for the pharmacy. I never really seen this place that busy but it has alot of what one would need. read more

This is just absolutely ridiculous I'm so angry right now. 1st they say order will be ready in 30 minutes I say no problem at all. I get to the order in 30 minutes as they said it would be ready and nothing. Then they email me saying sorry there has been a delay which is ok I guess but the worse part is they don't even tell you how long it gonna take for the order to be completed. I mean come on it wasn't many items either 30 minutes was definitely enough time to get what I needed. If they are short staff that is not my problem they don't like hiring extra people don't say 30 minutes if you don't mean it. I've been in my car waiting for my order for 1 hr now. Absolutely RIDICULOUS. Don't do online pick up here don't waste your time. They're lucky to even get the one star unfortunately I couldn't post this without choosing a star. read more

Located on the corner of probably the busiest intersection in the area this Walgreens sets itself apart in another way..... AWESOME STAFF!!! The cashier (Superman)always greets you when you come in. And the rest of the staff is really nice and ask you if theres anything they can help you with.Really good people here. The place is well laid out and the photo service is excellent. I love that you can find everything here....froom booze to babywipes :) This is my favorite Walgreens and I am glad I work right across the street. read more

This is hands down the worst Walgreens pharmacy I've ever been to. I actually dread when I have to pick up a prescription because I know it will take at least 30 minutes no matter what time of day. Oh did I mention the time I was shorted on the amount of pills prescribed by the pharmacist and then when I SURPRISE ran out early was told I'd just have to do without or pay the fee out of pocket due to their mistake!! I write this as I sit here in the pharmacy drive up 3 cars deep and already 20 minutes in. Please for the love of god restaff this inept pharmacy team, they're rude and irresponsible. read more

Arrived on 1/20/2019 at 11:50 pm, 10 minutes before close. I was in dire need of pain meds and as my boyfriend and I neared the entrance, we saw the door was already locked. Not only that, but the worker behind the cashier stared at us before resuming chatting up someone (clearly not a fellow worker), and they had the nerve to wave us off as if we were inconveniencing their private time. read more

Simon, the "pharmacist", was unbelievably rude and hung up on me while I was still speaking with him. I was asking about strength on a syrup that they carried, and he repeatedly told me that there was no such thing and it comes in one strength. The doctor's script will just need to say the name of the drug without a strength. He asked me to spell multiple things for him and kept saying "What?" as if he was annoyed that I was asking. Customer Service would be a negative 5 stars if it was based solely on his performance. EDIT: As someone who frequently calls pharmacies, I was calling on behalf of a doctor that I've worked with for 5 years. This is unacceptable. read more

Excellent Customer Service - I was accidently charged for someone else's order. I swiped my card once and it didn't go through. I swiped it again and it did. Later that day I noticed I had two charges from them on my card. I called and explained what happened. They looked into it while I was on the phone and credited my account right away without making me come in to the store. read more

It's a great place to go when you don't want to go to Walmart and park far and wait in long lines. (I love Walmart by the way 5 stars).

This review is ONLY for the cashier - Andre'. I wrote about him before, & referred to him as James, a name that was mentioned in the review that's 'hidden' (for unknown reason). I went to this Walgreens today only since they were closest to get a greeting card. (I've switched to CVS, Lincolnwood for all other things on a regular basis. Really like that store.) Anyway, I had the nice guy again. And now I finally noted his name. When he's not right in the middle of talking to a customer, he greets you as you walk in. And, when you get up to the cash register, and with a smile (!), he greets you and asks how you are. Andre', if you find this: How are YOU? Thank you for the smile. They're so rare these days in customer service, & the only reason I stopped in there. read more
