Complaint Regarding Treatment at Moreno Valley CVS Location To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally complain about the treatment I received at your Moreno Valley CVS location on Mother's Day, May 10, 2026. I received a 40% off coupon in the mail as part of your regular promotional mailers. I attempted to use the coupon toward a Mother's Day flower purchase, but I was told by both the store clerk and the manager that the coupon could not be used on flowers. While I understand that some exclusions may apply, the way the situation was handled was unacceptable. The sales associate repeatedly sighed under her breath during the interaction, creating an uncomfortable and disrespectful environment. Even worse, after I completed approximately $50 worth of purchases without the discount, I attempted to use the coupon on another eligible item and was then publicly accused of stealing someone else's coupon in front of other customers. This accusation was humiliating and completely inappropriate. I explained that the coupon was mailed to my residence. My mother suffers from dementia, so obtaining or verifying small mailing details immediately is not always easy. Instead of handling the matter professionally or respectfully, I was treated with suspicion and embarrassment. Additionally, I believe there was an attempt not to provide my receipt after the transaction, which only added to my concern regarding how this situation was handled. This experience completely ruined what should have been a simple Mother's Day shopping trip. Due to the conduct of the employees involved, my family and I will no longer shop at this Moreno Valley CVS location. It said it opened at 7 am on APPLE MAPS & GOOGLE so I came and it was obviously closed so I went inside and the cashier said at 9 am and it was only 30 minutes til then so I waited. The drive through at this pharmacy is ridiculous. McDonald's is faster than the drive through at this pharmacy. And they cook the food for you and everything. Cvs moreno valley: I placed an order online for 2 eyebrow pencils, and the total came to over $30. Package arrived, 1 box was empty/ no eyebrow pencil in it, the other box is the wrong item. To do a return, it says online you can mail it or take it to the store. I took it to the store and spoke to the supervisor Marlene. She was NOT friendly and told me I could not take it back to that cvs because they didn't even carry the item she said. I asked her to just do a return then and she said she can't do that because they don't carry the item. I did have the barcode on my phone to do the refund , which they told me online to take to the register. Marlene the supervisor said I had to call corporate for that. What incompetent customer service is that? Why is Marlene even a supervisor? So I went outside and called the customer service line from my car. He said Marlene should have done the return. And he said he would send the replacement items. He said I would receive the confirmation email soon. When I received the email it said they were out of the ites but that my card wouldn't be charged for the items. Well, the items were already paid for on my card and I received neither the items nor the refund. This is theft. Im furious. Im 73 yrs old, its difficult to get around for me, and all this was a huge frustrating and hassle, in addition to them stealing over $30 of mine. Lines are usually long here but this last time was the worse. I was about 14th in line and I had people behind me. Once I got to the counter the person had no sense of urgency, very nonchalant taking his time going back and forth to a computer in the back. There are no words that can describe how awful this pharmacy is and how they need a total restructuring of their staff. On Monday, November 6, 2023 I called the pharmacy at 2:00 p.m. to ask if my husband's prescription of Nitroglycerin was ready for pick up I was told they were waiting on the physician to call it in, I then asked if they had the medicine in stock, in which the gentlemen responded "Yes". I immediately called the physician and they called the prescription in. At 4:32 p.m. I called back and spoke with Ed and asked again if they received the prescription and if it was ready for pick up. Ed informed me that they just received it and it would not be ready for a while, I responded I have a 2-hour drive home from work I would see them at 6:30 p.m. He said ok, see you then. When I got to the drive-thru a car was in front of me I waited for 25 minutes for the car to move. When I finally got to the window I inquired about the prescription in which the pharmacist Katherine told me it was not ready and they did not have the medicine in stock. I informed her about my earlier two phone calls and she stated very rudely "Well there is nothing I can do, I do not have it in stock". I then asked if she could please call a nearby pharmacy and see if they have it because my husband really needed his medicine. She told me to get out of the drive-thru and come in the store then she would call for me. I told her I had waited 30 minutes already in the drive-thru could she please call, it would only take her a few minutes, I was tired and just wanted to get his medicine and go home. She said, "You had not waited for 30 minutes and NO I will not call and if you do not move I will call the police" I got so upset, but never raised my voice and I told her no problem I would call the police, in which I did. I explain to the dispatcher what was going on and I had the phone and speaker so she could listen. The dispatcher could not understand why she could not help me. While I was speaking with the dispatcher she yelled "your prescription is at the CVS on Alessandro" I thanked the dispatcher and told him that the pharmacist found the prescription and I was about to leave. Katherine at this point shoved the address of the Alessandro pharmacy in the window and told me to google it and find out where it was. I then told her do not ever threaten to call the police on me because I am not afraid of the police because I was not doing anything wrong. After I got home the Police Sergeant called and said he was going up to the store to talk to her and he would call me back. When he called me back he said I can truly understand what you went through he said she was even rude to him and had a terrible disposition and the Sergeant apologized for her rudeness. I informed him that I met Kathrine a week before because she gave my husband and I our vaccinations and at that time she was extremely rude and cold. I even tried to lighten her bad mood by having simple conversation and asking her if she was having a good day, was she tired in which she just shrugged her shoulders. Something needs to be done about this woman, she is supposed to be a professional with a college degree, she needs to learn how to deal with people and change her attitude. They are not I my RUUUDE as all can be, but I waited in the pick up drive thru pharmacy as people just walked by the window and no one said ANYTHING for 10 minutes. All while the line behind me grew. They do not care about people nor are they friendly or professional. This pharmacy is fast on prescriptions and they actually answer when you call. The customer service of most of the people i dealt with has been amazing. This pharmacy also saved my sons life by not questioning me about a pneumonia 23 vaccine i needed to get for my son to save his life cause he has lung problems . I paid out of pocket for the pneumonia vaccine for my son and although my insurance didnt cover it at a pharmacy they still serviced me despite me having medi-cal. Other places will be like you have medicaid so you have to go through your doctor we dont accept that blah blah its fraud and illegal. But this pharmacy actually accepted me paying out of pocket. Since the vaccine i got my son has not been catching pneumonia anymore and has no more coughs and reoccurring infections and he's able to go to school now without getting pulled out for his sickness. To all the pharmacist and staff here you have saved my sons life and have done more for him then any doctor. It would take me weeks to months to get an appointment for a doctor. But this pharmacy did the pneumonia vaccine the next day and they even had same day appointments. Awesome service. The wait times are not the greatest but they sure got alot better than before. In addition the wait times are better than some other pharmacies in the area. The 150 dollars i spent was well worth it. The vaccine last 5-10 years but im hearing it could be life time as well. But even if i had to vaccinate my son every 5 years i would be back here for the service. read more

Super upset with CVS. I always order photos at Wal Mart for same day pick up and get my photos perfectly. Today I tried using CVS as Walmart had all their kiosks down. I ordered wallet size photos of my son, when I went to the store to pick up the lady spent over 10 minutes trying to find them. Also she almost gave me someone else's photos until I told her this is not my last name on the order. There was literally no other employee in the store besides this one person at the register. I finally got my envelope and confirmed it was my order, however once I got home I was super upset to find out the photos are blurred . I ordered an 8x10 and those were okay except the wallet sized pictures. It is Father's Day and i had plans for a gift with the wallet sizes so this ruined everything. You would think once they came out in the printer that someone would notice there is an issue with the color and quality of the photo. I'm upset and feel it is not worth even going back to complain. I have been going to this pharmacy for over 10 yrs and have never had problems that weren't addressed. all of them being that my doctor had not sent the prescription. Behar has always reminded me when I needed my immunizations, even if I didn't want them. I have always been treated with kindness and attentiveness. My doc sends my prescription in and 3 days later I hear nothing. I call and hold for 10 min and they confirm my prescription is there. I get there and they say my order is on hold and they need my insurance card. I told them I gave it to them. They then say my prescription is not ready and I'll have to come back in 15 minutes because they never counted out the pills. Seriously? Why not call to tell me it's ready or call to say it's ok hold and ask for information. Instead I have to chase it and then it's still not ready. read more
