Management is rather unprofessional, there shouldn't be a reason to inform your cashier in front of customers: Do not allow a purchase from the "homeless gentleman" because of his shopping cart. If you had a prior unpleasant experience with him, you should have been discreet and notified the gentleman at the time he entered your establishment that you're unable to provide him service. You're making an assumption that he doesn't have any money (maybe he did or didn't today) however your approach was unacceptable. I had an absolutely horrible experience at Walgreens Pharmacy and I will never use this location again. My doctor called in my prescription to San Jacinto, and I transferred it to Moreno Valley (12275 Perris blvd ) around 1:00 PM. The app clearly showed that my prescription was READY. I arrived around 4:45 PM, only to be told it wasn't ready. When I asked why the app said it was ready, the staff member said she "wasn't sure." That alone was frustrating. Then another employee, Analisa, came to the window with a terrible attitude from the start. Instead of helping, she was dismissive and rude, repeatedly telling me my prescription wasn't ready. She then claimed the pharmacist wouldn't even be there until 5:00 PM and that I'd have to wait until after 6:00 PM. When I questioned why the app said it was ready, she suddenly changed her story and said she didn't even see my prescription--then seconds later said it was at another store. That made no sense, since I had already transferred it hours earlier. After leaving frustrated, I later noticed my prescription had completely disappeared from the app. When I called, I was told I didn't even have a prescription in the system anymore. After being placed on hold for 10 minutes, the pharmacist finally got on the phone with an attitude as well, saying he didn't know what happened and that it wouldn't be ready until after 7:00 PM--even though the previous employee had just seen it. I ended up waiting until 7:30 PM--over SIX HOURS after the prescription was called in--just to pick it up. To make matters worse, when I finally received my medication, it was just ibuprofen (Motrin), and no one even offered a consultation or explained anything about it. This entire experience was unprofessional, disorganized, and disrespectful. This Walgreens photo department is amazing. I went in with a photo on my phone that was approximately 45 yrs old that I wanted to make a 11x14 canvas of. I did not know how to do it, a employee named Monique helped me , she was very patience was so assuring to me that it could get made. Monique took close to 2 hours of her time to help me & still helped other customers. My canvas picture turned out PERFECT & I am so grateful for all Monique's time, patience & her continuing to work with my picture to make my canvas picture come out so amazing. Pharmacy is alright,there is just this one chick who looks like she's been smelling all day for no apparent reason. Shes Hispanic looking, with dark hair with highlights. You pull up and she ignores you. Yes, I understand you could actually be doing something on your computer but you acknowledge the patient/customer. Every place starts with 3 stars. Normally I'd go through a fairly rigorous review of price vs quality, customer service, availability of products, and any other criteria that might be appropriate to properly issue a biased, it's my review so my bias is obviously in play, but fair and above all honest review. I can't do that in this case because I can't get past, "Fuck those assholes!" Perhaps I should offer some context ... I went in to fill a prescription. Without divulging the nature of the prescription I can say that it was NOT an opioid or any derivative of an opioid. That didn't matter to the pharmacist who stated, "That she didn't feel comfortable with dispensing a new prescription at the dosage prescribed." She didn't state it to me; so told a subordinate to refuse to fill the prescription. Pharmacists do have some latitude to refuse to fill prescriptions if, and only if, they have a reasonable suspicion that the prescribing physician is overprescribing or if they have a reasonable and articulable belief that the patient may be harmed by the prescribed medication. She had none of those things. What she had was the unmitigated gall to call my physician and instruct him on the dosages she would approve. She didn't go to medical school, my physician did. And yet, she still told him, she didn't ask if there was a reason why he prescribed the medicine he did, she told him what to prescribe. That act constitutes the unlicensed practice of medicine and is absolutely illegal in California. So, for me and for everybody who has ever been harmed by the pharmacists at this particular Walgreen's I will be putting to use the lessons I learned in law school to punish that pharmacist. I won't win the suit but I will cost her $50k to defend herself from it. It will cost me very little and every cent will be money well spent because I'll draft my own complaints and do all my own filing. But like I said, I won't win. I'm not doing this to win; I'm doing it to punish. I'm reminded of the Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young song, Almost Cut My Hair. The relevant line that explains the singer's refusal to conform is, "I feel like I owe it to someone," I owe it to all of you, wish me luck. P.S. The pharmacist who is the subject of this review is Phoung. Normally I wouldn't include the name of the offender but since Phoung has received, said with maximum sarcasm, such a positive previous review, I felt that pointing out a pattern of her abuses of authority is warranted. read more

This review is for the Pharmacy, and not the store staff. So many issues surrounding my experience trying to get a prescription filled. The bottom line is that I have no confidence in the staff of the pharmacy. In 4 days time, they could not get one thing right, every step of the way with my transaction was plagued with issues. I was treated as if I did not matter at all. The employee trying to help me seemed to just want to push the issue off to the next morning, and she even suggested that I could have my prescription transferred to RITE AID!! (probably so i could become someone else's problem, and not hers.) Here's a summary of the issues I faced with this one transaction over 4 days: Day 1: Instructed to call my doctor and get the authorization worked out myself, and once I get that, I could get my prescription. (I've never been directed to do this myself.. EVER) Day 2: I called my doctor to have them get with the pharmacy for whatever was needed for my insurance. (was told that the pharmacy usually reaches out to them if they need it btw) Day 3: Did not hear back from anyone Day 4: Called to check on things... Told that my insurance was no longer active. (it wasn't, i have a PPO btw. and they are FAST). Was instructed to take it up with my insurance carrier, (which I did). They confirmed that i did indeed have insurance, and that an approval for the prescription was provided to Walgreens. (What?!!) Day 4 Continued: Went to pick up prescription, and provided manufacturer coupon, was told that it was expired, or had been used. Provided a new coupon, told the same. Gave the tech a number to call for assistance, she told me that they were closed, and that someone could call them tomorrow to get it resolved. Its a 24hr helpline.. I called from my car, and walked back into the store with the person on the phone. Tech and helpline person talk, Tech concludes that the NEXT coupon still doesnt work, and its the coupon's fault. Helpline tells me that there's something wrong on the Walgreens side because they cannot even see the attempt. NOW im advised that I can go to Rite Aid if I think that the coupon will work there.. (FRUSTRATED). I'm told that the IT Helpdesk for Walgreens cannot be contacted until the FOLLOWING MORNING... (again with the tomorrow morning.) In frustration, I ask to have the prescription transferred to another Walgreens..(btw, i arrived to the store at 5:30pm, and it was now about 6:15pm.) THE OTHER Walgreens let me know that the codes were not in the correct place.. ID code was where Group should be, and vice versa... ((SERIOUSLY??)). The other Walgreens got my meds to me in hand in just a few hours, and took the time to carefully explain everything going on, and work to get everything resolved in a very timely manner, and called me back several times as they had to work to get the prescription out of the limbo that this location sent it to, because apparently, they managed to TRANSFER IT INCORRECTLY AS WELL. The moral of this story is that I'll never return to this pharmacy, and if you think they are too busy to care about you... you are probably right. read more

Went to try an drop off my prescription this afternoon (Fri May 14th 2021). Was told by the pharmacy tech in the drive through that my prescription I was dropping off at that time, would be filed by 7pm the same day. She preceeded to head back to process the order. 15 min after she takes my prescription, she then heads back to the window to inform me she won't be able to fill the order because they were out of stock. Not too bothered, I simply inquired when the prescription could be filled. She then replied that she couldn't give me a date. She then preceeded to tell me that I should drive 10 miles to see if I can fill at another pharmacy. Convenience wise, I replied that I could not do that. I offered to drop my prescription off there until they are capable of filing. She then stated she can't accept my prescription at this point. A little confused, I felt the need to speak to the pharmacist. She then told me that the pharmacist was on the phone, and would t be able to speak with me. Even more confused, I informed her that I would come in to just speak to the pharmacist about the situation because I was now feeling "uncomfortable" about the situation. Miraculously, the pharmacist walked up to the window and snatched the phone from the pharmacy tech. Even though she heard the entire conversation, the pharmacist asked me, "How may I help you"? I reiterated the situation directly to the pharmacist. The pharmacist replied, we don't have this medication and we can't fill your prescription. I then replied, "Well, when can this prescription be filled"? At this point, she's is irritated with me and tells me that she will not fill this prescription because she can see I've previously filled this prescription in the past with another pharmacy and that I need to go and fill it with them. "Your Prefered" pharmacy as she called it. I kindly told her, ma'am, I no longer go to that pharmacy for personal reasons. The pharmacy then put my ID card, and prescription in the window and said I will not fill it because it is a "narcotic". I kindly asked her how do I escalate this matter? Because I now feel this is discrimination (in some sort). I asked for the managers name, but she refused to give me the managers name. Not leaving at this point because no matter what's going on, I need names now, because I am going to file complaints as high as this needs to go. Store pharmacist (Phuong) then told me that the store managers name is (Ahmed Abou-El-Seoud). Usually I wouldn't complain, not everyone has the resources/time to travel outside their "residential" area to do these things. Nor, is it necessary for a representative of a franchised company to discriminate in this manor. I'm am not trying to use the race card, or the sensuality card here, but one can't help feel those are contributing factors when these customers who've come in right behind me, picked up the exact same medication I was trying to fill that they informed they did not have at that time. Update: Walked in and spoke with the same Pharmacist in person, and she then preceeded to inform me that they have the discretion to fill this medication based on their feeling. She then told me that she didn't just tell me that she couldn't fill the prescription, but that I would have to wait. I asked her again when would that be? She then said, she couldn't tell me when. Long story short, please use caution if you are a person of color, homosexual, etc. Trying to fill a controlled substance at this location, because based on how they "perceive" Your situation, they may or may not fill your prescription. "Discrimination" as I like to use it lightly. But don't take word for it, see for yourself! read more

Walgreens North of the freeway in Moreno Valley on Perris Boulevard is the absolute highest on the bar, when it comes to fast, helpful, courteous, and the positive smiles of the Employees. Anything I've ever needed, whether it be vitamins, medicine, or shampoo, they have had the top shelf merchandise and also low budget priced merchandise as well. There's no way I can leave out the pharmacy. I've been going to this pharmacy for eight years and they've been nothing but decent and helpful with my medications and very professional, all the while, filling the prescriptions in a timely matter. I'm leaving this review in regards to the pharmacy department. I have been using this pharmacy for s few years now and have had more negative experiences than positive. When trying to fill my sons antibiotics recently after leaving urgent care, I called and they told me it would be 30 minutes. So we waited. After 30 minutes passed I called before going just to be sure and the automated system said one hour. So we waited another hour. Again I called and the automated system still said it wasnt ready so I then chose to speak with someone and I was connected to a customer service rep named Patricia. She tried to connect me to the pharmacy but they had put the call on hold as soon as she transferred it. She complained and urged me to file a complaint as well since we waited for over 30 minutes with no answer. I have also had problems in the past, where they didn't give me all of my sons pills when he was on controlled substances. Now I felt like I needed to sit and count them before I leave and that is not okay. I am switching pharmacies. read more
