Great pharmacy staff and store. Not sure what all the bad reviews are about. I've never had any problems.

The pharmacy itself is okay though overwhelmed and understaffed. I avoid going inside the store if I can help it. There is literally no help and it feels like almost everything requires to push the button to get somebody to unlock the case for you, if they show up. Numerous times I have gotten tired of pushing the button, looking and waiting... over and over... and I just leave, same with the bathroom; it takes forever to get anything accomplished at this CVS and I am an older fellow that usually has to pee, forget about getting someone to come and let you use their precious bathroom. The poor floor manager is constantly trying to get the grumpy lazy workers to do their jobs and the looks they give when redirected or directed toward completion of a task instead of standing around makes em look like petualnt teenagers, it is all really sad. read more

I call, and want to speak to a pharmacist. There is NO WAY to speak to a pharmacist when you call. It doesn't matter what buttons you push, how many times you tell the robot lady you want to speak to a pharmacist, you won't get one. All they do is tell you to record your message, and a pharmacist 'will' get back to you. surrrre, Jan. The other complaint. There is NEVER more than one person working the floor. Never. It doesn't matter if it's Christmas eve, and you need your stuff now. It doesn't matter if it's cold season, and everyone is in there for medication and tissues, and the line is 20 people deep. There is ONE person to handle the register. Mind you, that person is nice. But. Dammit. read more

The CVS pharmacy on Broad St Meriden is the worst! That's the closest pharmacy to me but 90 percent of the time I travel to Walmart because the quality of the service is so superior. I just had an experience TODAY. I stood at the counter for a full 5 minutes while employees looked at me and kept right on with whatever they were doing until I loudly asked if anyone planned to attend to me. This is my 2nd such experience in this pharmacy. They are disrespectful and unprofessional. read more

This is the most unprofessional cvs in CT alone., they make sure to not help people at all. I'm always having my medication short filled,,in fact they won't contact your medical professionals when medication is due. I feel that they really don't care about the customers solely on the fact that they serve a lower class community. I'm looking forward to having the pharmacy investigated. read more

This CVS Pharmacy never fails to disappoint. Staffed with a crew of liars, they promised delivery of a prescription. My wife, having been lied to about delivery before, called to confirm. After keeping us waiting, they called to say they would not deliver. CVS is uniformly bad, but this store is the worst pharmacy, staffed by the worst people. They ignore their phones, and their service is slow--especially at the inconveniently located drive-through. The description above is incorrect. This store does not deliver or does only when it feels like it. THEY SHOULD NOT ADVERTISE DELIVERY. THEY DO NOT DELIVER. Or at least that is what they told us. read more

In June Pharmacist Melissa Kosko filled my prescription with 60 pills missing, I was harassed by the staff and just this past month, my mom was treated so horribly. How is this even allowed? What happened to CVS? I was a customer for over 20 yrs and now I have to find a new pharmacist for my mom after having to switch me and my children due to the awful things said to me. I had to block CVS from harassing me. I truly don't want this to happen to anyone else. It was truly one of the worst experiences of my life. Please be careful everyone. Blessings to All. read more

Every single time I go to pickup a prescription there is something wrong. Wrong prescription refilled. Prescription not filled at all even though the system confirms the time I've requested, etc. Everyone continues to say it's "Corporate...". The auto generated system has also called saying I have something being filled or if I've called, the system has more than once stated I have something else "ready for refill" or "being worked on". I've gotten to the point that every time I go now, I know to just expect something will be wrong. It's never, not once, failed to not be the case. After over 20 years with CVS as my pharmacy, I just need to move on and find another. The Broad Street, Meriden, CT pharmacy location has been an absolute terrible experience. read more

I was not shocked to see this place has 1 star review. This is specifically about the pharmacy which is the worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with in my life. The pharmacist is nice but she needs to get a handle on the people working there for real. My doctor can send in a script and I could wait 10 days, show up and it's not ready yet. "30 minutes". Besides that, some of the people who work here need an attitude check. I just had my partner pick up my prescription and she's giving him an attitude saying she doesn't have my RX card. HUH? After 2 YEARS of getting my prescriptions filled there? If she was nice about it I wouldn't even be writing this because mistakes happen. But the audacity of her to give him major attitude when she was wrong. Luckily the manager ended up also telling her she was wrong. But she kept that smug attitude and gave him my prescription. I should've switched pharmacies a while ago because this place is a joke. This was just the icing on the cake. read more
