When I looked up embarrassed (knowing that they did not take credit cards), Sheikh said, "Hey, don't worry about it." He had never seen my face before, and he trusted me to pay him back. No tab, never wrote it down. I stopped by the next day and brought Sheikh his 5 bucks. Helping people out is good business. I have religiously stopped at Dairy Plus on my way to/from work for past 4 years - to grab a cup of coffee (Green Mountain! Yum!) or a loaf of bread or that much-needed ice cream. Never stepped foot into the other convenience store down the street. If you're in town, stop by Dairy Plus and chat it up with Sheikh. Just remember that cash...

However, I was unfamiliar w/ the prices of bulk tobacco because it was my first time purchasing the product. I was charged $27 for a 6oz bag of Gambler brand, almost $30 higher than another store charged for same. Pressed for time and need, I went a second time. They wanted $40 for 8oz same brand cig tobacco. The salesman, possibly the owner, admitted he charged $10 more for profit. In addition to tax & a 4% non cash fee for using a debit credit card. The latter charge is illegal in the state of CT (ct.gov). I didn't realize I was charged this extra non cash fee til home. Disappointed. Cloud9 is in a great location but be prepared to pay extra for this convenience. Knowing my poor planning, I'll probably still shop there, unless they get mad at me for posting an honest review.

The parking lot is well lit and has lots of room. There's even a bench in front of the store. Inside is clean, a little full for a CVS but everything is where you expect it to be. Extra stars for the employee who checked in from his break and went right to ringing before even putting his uniform shirt back on. I was so happy to have someone help the line move while the other cashier was being bogged down by slow understanding customers. Who needs the formality if it gets me and my fellow customers on our way?

The one person manning the vaccine area is also running back and forth to the prescription section. I'd brought in my paperwork but was asked to fill it out again for some reason. Waited almost 30 minutes past my appointment time. They misspelled my name on my CDC card and then put the wrong date on my vaccine record. After vaccination, the pharmacist doesn't seem to care if you wait the 15 minutes or not.
