Came in to get a few items for a little get together with my kids and their friends. I needed a bunch of candy so looking through them at the front register, I see Hershey bars that were out dated. After looking into it more, there were cartons full of out dated items! Ramon, the store manager, was of no help at all. Told me he had other things to do, doesn't have time, etc. Unacceptable and sadly very common at CVS. Check your candy! read more

This is the worst CVS both inside and outside. The outside parking lot shares space with Wendys. It's always congested. There's huge containers which take up more space in the parking lot. The Paddock Ave entrance/exit is over grown so you can hardly pull out without getting hit by an oncoming car. The inside of the store is a mess. Drive through not open so I have to go inside. I've gone on 3 separate days and times to pick up my prescription and the line is always so long I end up leaving. read more

My wife needed a COVID jab, despite having cards and their EXTRA shots available that day, this condescending DMV reject of a pharmacist found a reason to turn her away. Not your regular CVS this location specializes in medical supplies. So while you won't find any nail polish at this CVS you may find catheters, walkers and an array of other home health aides. Not my favorite CVS (because I came specifically looking for nail polish) but they do seem to have a lot of the items they do specialize in so they seem to be serving their purpose well. read more

I'm getting my story out for 153 Broad St. Meriden, CT After 3 months of Pharmacist Melissa Kosko filling my prescription with 60 pills missing CVS still calling to ask if I want my prescriptions filled. I'll never step in CVS ever again. This pharmacist got away with what she did and now I feel harassed by this pharmacy. Please be careful everyone and count your meds at the counter. After going to Barry's for our liquor needs, we came down here for our mixer needs. Thank goodness that CVS is laid out in CT the same way it's laid out in CA. It made for a quick in and out so we could go home change and drink before the wedding shuttle came to get us. Yeah CVS for keeping your stores with the same layouts everywhere! Anyone on medication, especially with Diabetes, Please DO NOT use this pharmacy...from experience and visual observation, they mishandle prescription medication and most of the techs have no idea what they're doing or haven't been trained properly. For example, I've seen insulin, once filled, be stored in warm temperature in one of their pick up bins versus their refrigerator where it should be stored; otherwise the insulin will not work properly and will make the patient using it very sick. They've also terminated one of my prescriptions needed to keep me alive, without my, or my doctor's authorization. Stay far away from this pharmacy... read more

So I shop as cheaply as possible with five kids it's a must!!!! Not for nothing lately WALGREENS has had a much larger selection of items but I still choose to go to CVS!! So yesterday I called CVS to inquire about an "As seen on t.v." Item which on the first call was on hold for 7 minutes when she picked the call back up apologized for the wait and said the line got long but NO we do not carry that item!!! I called a second time assuming she got busy and then didn't even look and in 15 seconds was again told no!!! So I went to WALGREENS and purchased the item for much more than I would've with coupons for CVS!!!! So today I go to CVS for something else and happened to pass the section and saw the item I had inquired about the previous night!!!! Upset I asked to speak to a manager and showed the only box left and explained what had occurred!!!! Now I haven't yet told you that the isle had been completely cleaned and was extremely bare awaiting arriving goods!!! So the young manager said they had just emptied pods this morning and it probably just came!!!! So I said do you normally ONLY order ONE item and leave the shelves completely bare!!!! Maybe I should just stick with WALGREENS and also move my 5 children husband and myself prescriptions there also!!!! read more

I've had prescriptions filled at this location for many many years, but the last year or so has been awful. You're almost ignored by the pharmacy staff now, customer service is poor. My visit yesterday with Marrissa was painful. She held up the line by allowing the customer before me to try to locate his wife to see if she needed prescriptions (and isn't that a HIPPA issue? Why is she giving him his wife's prescriptions when he only was asking for his?!), then a woman's name was called because her prescription was ready and she went in the front of the line. I always get up when waiting then go to the back of the line; we all are waiting. When I finally got to the register, I held out my CVS rewards card for a good 5 minutes and she didn't even take It! I asked if she wanted It and she spoke and said not yet. When I finally got home after AN HOUR of waiting in line, my husband said we need to change. He had issues as well. They have a women who, not to be offensive, definitely has a brain disability, working the computer part of the pharmacy. It takes her at least 10 minutes per costumer and she laughs and talks to the people as if there isn't a 15 person line all the way down the isle!!! Definitely need more staff working the pharmacy there is always one person and I never spend less than 45 minutes in cvs just waiting in line to pick up a prescription that is already ready.
