Literally pick ANY other nearby CVS over this one. I would rather wait at the one inside the target than ever step foot in this one again. There are two staff members here that are absolutely incompetent. Two separate occasions are the reason for this review. On one occasion, the photo machine "malfunctioned" (the staff member accidentally deleted the order) and they were unable to process my photo order. They then ask me to re-place the order but I can't since the store is now showing no stock of this item. Since it was over $50, I also had to input my payment information online to place the order. The staff member and the manager both had no clue and had an attitude, and could not process the refund and told us to contact customer service. The other occasion was an issue with the same staff member at the pharmacy arguing with me over the same prescription I pick up every single month. They did not apply my insurance correctly and the amount was showing incorrect and it took over 30 minutes of waiting to get it rectified. If I could give this store, a 000000-0000 all across-the-board I wouldn't even give it that! Still NO update, the police MAN called me and said they are waiting for the videotape from corporate. He won't be back on duty until Monday. So now here I am sitting at home all alone (Super Bowl weekend) just getting off of my shift from the hospital (Nurse), and worried I'm gonna get fired or get kicked out of CRNA school (1st in my class right now!) due to some general manager big boy anger issues at CVS like making assumptions (I have a tattoo and amohawk), which spawned this nasty, NASTY ridiculing me WHILE YELLING verbal HATE crimes to my face (AND in front of other customers). I start to hold back tears because he is asking 20 questions a second and I don't have enough time in my brain because of my TBI and CTE to answer them all. The obnoxious rude words kept pouring out, louder and louder as a few more cuss words were thrown in. He is VERY unprofessional, disrespectful, unbelievably Ignorant, sexist, hey Sirlies that are coming out of his mouth to the police!!! He has no care in the world for The ADA, or just plain doesn't give a crap about The ADA, somebody that has no respect or decency for any human being whether it be a patient a nurse, a police officer a customer or ADA participant like myself a girl with the brain injury. I got hit head-on by a drunk driver. I've had to have 34 surgeries. I have a traumatic brain injury. I have CTE, I have PTSD, depression, anxiety, three joint replacements with chronic pain every day of my life!!!! However, I wake up with a smile on my face every morning because I get to go out into the world and help people because I know how it feels to be down and out. After all of the trials and tribulations, the falls, the surgeries the pain I've gone through since 2005 I will never let this stores general manager at store number 2019 The CVS AT Ashland Community Square cuss me out call me a liar, call me a thief, call me a shoplifter, and loud enough, everyone in the store stopped what they were doing, and looked straight at me. The manager then picked up the phone and called the police on me because he trespass me. As I got into my car, I realized I had my prescription bag, but the bag with my vape in it was gone because he tore everything out of my hands, grabbed all my bags, putting stuff in a bag taking stuff out of bags. I had no idea what I had paid for. I was so confused. I already have a brain injury, and this guy is screaming at me and confusing me more!! Not to mention the EMBARRASSMENT I felt in front of all these other people standing around watching this grown man yell at a 40y/o female So I I went back into the store just to ask if he would give me my vape back. He stood there, cussed me out, calling me every name in the book as loud as he possibly could saying I was stupid asking if I was dumb and apparently because I had a NURSE shirt on he thought I was faking. He actually told dispatch that I was wearing a Nursing shirt so I must be pretending to be a nurse!!!!!! He said he did not have my vape, so I went out and sat in my car to wait for the police . I never brought it in and I can guarantee you is on camera that I had my vape and asked the pharmacist for an extra bag because I dropped it in when it hit the floor. It broke and leaked everywhere) me out while telling me to get out of his store. I left the store and I waited from 3:30 PM till 7:45 PM for The police to show up, they didn't call me till 1230 that night. When the guy snatched the stuff up that I was trying to check out and get right in my head. I have no idea what I had paid for what I didn't pay for what I needed because he mixed it all up. He also told me that he was going to the back to just look at the tapes, so why is the cop telling me that it takes about a week to get the video fromcorporate? Calling them is useless as auto system doesn't connect you and asks to leave a voicemail. In todays time who leaves a voicemail for these purposes? This is our neighborhood CVS and I had no problem with the employees there, except that they are always short in staffing for the pharmacy. My mother-in-law's doctor sent her Rx to a pharmacy that was closed on Sundays so we went to this one. After almost an hour of waiting in the store for the doctor to send the Rx, we decided to leave and come back. We called the CVS three times to make sure they received it but we went directly on hold while each and every time, the phone just hung up after a little over 5 minutes of holding. The other thing that brought me to review them was the public restroom. If you were asked to wait for a prescription for over half an hour and need to go to the bathroom, good luck. read more

The pharmacist here was very rude to me a few weeks ago. She wouldn't come to the "pick up" area and just yelled from 10 feet away and was upset when she couldn't hear me. She told me that I would have to pay for my medications in full because I have two insurances (?????). I went there another time and they said my medication - that was ordered and said was ready the day prior - and they said my medications would be ready in two hours. The person in the drive thru window just looked there and didn't seem apologetic or explain why it would take too long. Extremely ghetto, unprofessional staff at the pharmacy. They're all very immature and rude. They will let the phone ring for hours and think it's funny. They never have your prescriptions filled on time and always want you to come back. If I could give 0 stars I would. I just got off the phone with a woman from the pharmacy who was yelling at me over a question I asked about my medication. That whole staff needs to be fired! Last time I was there, I was in the drive through waiting 30 min before someone helped me and when he did, he gave me the wrong medication so I waited another 20 for someone to come back to the window to help me and she was snickering the entire time. I have loved CVS for quite some time but my recent experience at store Ashland Community Square Manassas Va has changed my view. I went in to exchange because a shipped item and pickup item I ordered were wrong. I went to the Ashland CVS for an exchange and the person on duty told me CVS doesn't do exchanges. I told her that's not true because I have exchanged before when an item received was incorrect. There was a clear racial thing going on because I am a woman of color it doesn't have to be spoken microagression can be felt. She also told me that no CVS does exchanges and if I wanted to exchange anything go back to the store I purchased the 2 items. I told her I didn't want to lose my rewards with a return and she snapped you are just going to have to. As I turned to leave the store I decided I was no longer going to shop at CVS and a refund would be sufficient after how she treated me it was enough. She started the return for one item and said did you open this? I said to her why would I open it and try to return it? It was clear to the naked eye the item was unopened. I was being interrogated over 10 dollar?! The second item which was my store pickup item she scanned the receipt from my phone and in a rude tone I cant return this its not om your receipt. I told her of course its not I told you my pickup item was a totally different item I ordered. I showed the item I ordered on the receipt. I started to get really upset this experience was too much I just wanted to exhange. She completed the transaction and I do mean the transaction because when I woke up the next day looking over the so called refund she actually charged me. I was super angry by now and I went back to the store and the associate on duty gave me a refund and said she didn't understand because CVS does exchange items given to customers incorrectly. For her to charge me instead of refund me was fraudulent because I no longer had the purchase. I have an open complaint with CVS customer relations. I am not holding my breath on recourse but this behavior has to be outed. Again the covert racism was felt by the treatment I experienced at your store. This is the worst pharmacy around period! I avoided them for years but because of a mix up my medication got sent here. I used to live on spriggs and tried to give this place chances but I learned my lesson! Don't come to this pharmacy!!! Listen to me and everyone else's horrible experiences! The pharmacy is close, Pharmacist is nice and always busy. The other employees behind the counter are not customer friendly. They don't greet the customer and seem to have a problem when you ask a question. I have been shorted prescriptions on numerous times due to not going through extra step to look in different bins. I wanted to do this review to acknowledge the changes made by the pharmacy team . This is a very busy neighborhood pharmacy that in the past has had trouble keeping up with the volume and wait times would be horrible . I noticed new experienced or trained employees are multi tasking with no issues and it looks like a well oiled machine back there behind the counter and I was helped immediately, my concern regarding the prescription was answered immediately and according to my doctor , correctly . I realize most reviews are done when someone is upset, but I felt like other customers should be aware that changes are happening and I believe they will continue to improve with the current team behind the counter. Been standing at pharmacy counter for over 8 minutes, three employees within two feet of me, no one has said a single word or acknowledged my standing here at all. It's almost 8pm and there's not one other customer in the store. If you're busy that's fine but you'd think someone would atleast look at you or say "we'll be with you in a minute". Pretty sure they're just trying to get closing work done considering there is no one else here, they don't close for another two hours. Been here atleast 5 times when they've texted or assured something will be ready, I wait in a ten car line to pick it up and it's not ready. Rarely an apology just a " well you can come back". This location offers free PCR test, but I wouldn't recommend doing it here because it takes more than 48hours to get your results. Be careful if you are trying to use it for international travel. Came inside the store, wasn't greeted and when I received help, I asked for passport pictures and the older gentleman grunted at me saying he "didn't have time for me" I came to get passport pictures for me and my daughter. He took pictures of me from what I think he did. When it came to my daughter he told me no I can't deal with you and walked away and he told me to leave the store. He helped an older white lady instead of helping me, even tho I asked for his helped first. He ignored me while helping other customer. Being a Latina I felt discriminated in how he treated me and my daughter because the store was mostly filled with Caucasian people and I felt out of placed because of his actions and other customer listening to him how he treated me. read more

Husband was in the ER with head pain last night--we didn't get home until after he CVS closed the night before. Stopped in at the first available moment today and was told they were understaffed and possibly wouldn't have pain and antibiotics prescriptions ready until tomorrow. After a request to do anything to have the meds today, pharmacist expedited refill and got it done in under two hours and we were called right away when it was ready. I went to go pick up my prescriptions from the pharmacy after calling ahead of time to make sure they were there. We went through the drive thru and were then told to come inside. Once inside the pharmacist persistently told me that he rudely said I needed to call my insurance before he could fill my prescriptions. That was never relayed to me. Once I called my insurance I went back to pick up my prescriptions through the drive thru. Once again the pharmacist was extremely rude and told us to move so the other people in line could be helped. Pharmacy provides decent service but the store prices are crazy high (even with the stupid promos and coupons) and customer service at the front of the store is poor. You can never find an associate for assistance but there's always some associate fumbling with the photos. Every time I enter the store, the only employee manning the front of the store is overwhelmed with some trivial photo issue. Additionally, the coupon policy is ridiculous. They tout all these great coupons, but when you go to use them, they claim they won't accept them from your phone, even though they have the ability to scan. Instead, they don't accept the coupon, provide poor service and promote waste. Why have me print something your just going to scan and throw away!?Because you know that most people expect you to scan them from the phone and in turn will not bring the coupon. This way you can deny the coupon and get them to pay your outrageous prices!! I'd rather drive right past your store and go to Target where I literally paid half the price for the same tube of Neosporin. Get a clue!!! read more
