Traveling with a group who made the unfortunate decision to stay at a very crappy hotel in close proximity (The La Quinta a few doors down- NEVER AGAIN.) There is virtually nothing of value near the hotel unless you can speak Spanish and plan to buy a car out of a trailer. (Not being racist or demeaning, being quite literal.) This CVS is the closest establishment to the hotel where you can actually get things you need. Consequently, I've been here twice already in one day. Unlike my disaster of a hotel, I have to give kudos to this CVS- they have to be the nicest CVS staff I've ever encountered. I've interacted with team members on two different shifts during my different visits. Also have been assisted by the store manager and two pharmacists. All of them have gone above and beyond to be helpful in one way or another. The pharmacists get an extra shout out for their willingness to help me address meds transfer from another location & they took care of this for me in mins. When I had questions about other things, the pharmacist helping me at the counter was so sweet and seemed to really care. A+ all around. This CVS has been the one and only positive related to the mistake we made booking the La Quinta. Thanks, CVS staff for the great customer service! Got a prescription sent over at 8 PM call at 10:30 because it still isn't ready and they said that I could come pick it up at 12 AM when I tried to ask the lady if there's anything we can do to try to push it forward because I can't just wait until 12 AM to pick up medicine that I need to take ASAP. I arrived at the drive-thru at 1:05pm. There are only 3 cars ahead of me. The pharmacy closes for lunch at 1:30pm. The third car pulls away and now it's my turn. I hear a recording, "The pharmacy is now closed for lunch." I should have read the other reviews. Everyone complains how slow the staff is. The reviewers are right. It took them 25 minutes to serve only three customers. This is clearly a management problem. This CVS advertises that they are open 24 hours. That's true if you need alcohol and toiletries, but if you need prescriptions, you will have to wait while all of the pharmacists have their lunch at the same time. read more

I'm a fan of CVS for these reasons: Most are 24/7, they are plentiful, and they have great sales/variety on non-prescription items. It's always crowded in any CVS store I go into except for the other one down the road (probably because it's out of the way). I think some people just need a place to hang out. What the heck, CVS. I end up there because they have what I need and it's not been sitting there since 2005. The pharmacist and cashier are EXTREMELY nice and efficient/professional. They always try to be helpful. CVS obviously made a mistake or had an error in their appointment system, but you'd never know that by how unresponsive and uncaring the "rep" was -- other than to try and tell me and my wife that we were both wrong! Terrible, slow, rude, pharmacists. Impossible to reach and when/if you do get in contact with one of their reps they are unhelpful.

I will NEVER EVER shop in CVS as long as I live again because of my experience here. After giving birth to my daughter and being discharged very late in the evening because of possible health issues with my daughter there I needed to go to a different pharmacy that was 24 hours. Well to make a long story short....My husband had dropped off a prescription at our regular Giant pharmacy at lunch time and we were hopping to pick it up once we were discharged from the hospital. Well because there was some issues going on with the bloodwork from our newborn we weren't discharged until 9:30 PM. Since I was discharged so late my doctor wrote a prescription for a couple of pain pills to get me through the night until I could pick up the other prescription at my pharmacy. So I took my prescription into CVS since it was 24 hours and the pharmacist told me he would not fill my prescription since I already had one filled before. I tried to explain the situation to him and he treated me like a criminal. He had the nerve to question if I needed my prescription (a pain medicine from having given birth) and told me he wouldn't fill it since my husband had dropped off a prescription for the same drug at another pharmacy. He told me I could just pick the other medicine up the next day and I didn't need to have pain medicine. If he needed to question my prescription he should have called my doctor to find out if I needed them not treat me like I was some drug addict trying to get prescription pills. I would like to see him give birth to a 9 pound 1 ounce baby and not have any pain medicine. My husband went into the store and went off on the guy and the pharmacist then filled the prescription after my husband gave him a piece of his mind. I have no intention to ever shop at CVS ever again. read more

Very bad drive thru pharmacy staff . I have my doctor refill a prescription that they couldn't find when I got there. The staff had called me two hours prior saying that my medication was ready to be picked up when it got to the window. The lady had a very rude attitude and had stated that there is no such medication in my record. I showed her the automated text messages that I get from CVS pharmacy. When my medication is ready to be picked up, she said nothing to be found, and then she kept on showing attitude that there's nothing. There's nothing go you're wasting our time when I've been sitting on that window for at least two hours, and then another lady comes in and types in my date of birth and name, and then magically find it, and then hand over the medication and the rude lady doesn't apologize doesn't say anything for being rude or not finding it and just says I have a nice date very rudely without even looking at us rude and pathetic employees that they have at the pharmacy drive-through in this location. read more

Thank you for being 24 hours! After leaving the emergency room very late at night i had a prescription to fill. Seeing i was in pain i needed the medicine quickly however i didn't say this because i know i have to wait my turn. Came in close to 4 am. The pharmacist was friendly and wide awake. I know most of us aren't at that hour! I picked up some juice, jello and crackers (sick day foods) and after just a few minutes wait i was on my way. Not a typical 15-30 mins. More like 10. Anytime i fill other prescriptions here of non urgent variety i like to browse the whatnots in the store. A good CVS to go to. read more

Always frustrated when I leave. Their store is unorganized, never stocked, messy, & the employees really hate their lives. I always seem to stand at the register to check out while two employees ignore me & continue to talk to each other. ALWAYS. Their photo center is always broken/the photo person is never there. I know that's a lie BC it's 24 hours & I've gotten pictures at 2 am & at noon before... It's inconsistency & laziness on the employees parts. But most of the time it's broken, so it doesn't matter anyway. Plus they can't answer any questions about the wireless app that does it for you or why my phone plug doesn't work. Here's the thing, if you're open for 24 hours then the employees shouldn't act like they're closed/about to close. They're scheduled & should treat customers w some respect. Not act like they are annoyed were coming in so late. & the pharmacy is a joke. Talk about a drive thru that takes almost an hour to get through. So ridiculous. This is a typical CVS. What makes it a four star is that it is open 24 hours. The pharmacist who works the early hours is a nice, quick guy. One of the female pharmacists who works in the afternoon can be a little rude but I'll give her a pass due to it being very busy around five in the afternoon. Plenty of "stuff" in this store at CVS pricing. The store is located at a very busy intersection and the parking is tight. There is also a drive through available. read more

This isn't my favorite location to visit, but I find myself here more often than others because it is in my direct path home from work. The hours are odd for a drug store, I don't believe they are open until 8am and they close at 10pm. The parking lot, being situation on Rt 28 is a nightmare to get out of during rush hour, but I suppose that is totally out of their control. The store is old and needs an upgrade, but is generally clean and well-staffed. Due to its location, the parking lot can be a bit intimidating because of the people hanging out near the RedBox machine right outside the front door. Overall, its useful in a pinch or when I am in a hurry and in need of something on my way home but not my favorite store to stop in. read more

Too bad the other reviewer bases her entire review on one experience that was extraordinary circumstances.Also, we don't know the other side of the story. Have stopped by here many times after trips to the ER and they were the only place opened. I don't know what I would have done without them. CVS prices can be high, so I don't shop here regularly, but some of the "sales" can be good buys. I am getting too old to clip coupons and run around town looking for the cheapest prices. Then at 10pm the helper left and a big line formed for drop offs. So now there is only the pharmicist and she is only helping people dropping off and ignoring that I have been here a long time. Hit or miss with the customer service. An item clearly stated 'sale' $, the computer rang up 'regular' $ and the cashier was too either lazy or not smart enough to get the manager to over ride the pricing. My husband went back a few days later and the item still has a "sale" sign and he got it for the sale price without any hassle. I don't think it was me, I did ask nicely but didn't get any where. Maybe I should have throw a hissy fit! Lol. P.S. Although sale items are great! I find most items are more expensive than other stores. The toys are generally over priced, so I only buy them there when it's an emergency. Stock up when there's a sale! read more

This is the worst CVS! They never answer their phone,drive thru is always backed up. But you know who's fault that is!? CVS!! Why!? Because they don't hire enough staff!! Several months ago we needed a passport picture for an appointment early in the morning. We called this 24 hour cvs at 2:00am and a gentleman was very friendly and said "Of course we can, come have it done anytime." We went, and it was a great experience permitting a great review. We were in the same situation about 10:15 tonight and went into the same cvs. The woman at the counter said we could not have that done because photo person left at 10:00. I don't know if the gentleman before was just going beyond with service, but it is unfortunate that that level of service cannot be consistent. Maybe photos aren't supposed to be taken after 10, or maybe she was not trained on how to do that for us. However judging the attitude she have us I assume it was just laziness. Best pharmacy around!! I use to go to a different one & the customer service was mediocre at best.. But CVS employees & pharmacists are always bright & chipper no matter the time of day! If you are a minority and/or a member of the LGBT community, do not go to this pharmacy. I stopped by on the 11th to pick up some prescriptions and one of the pharmacy techs was at the computer. When she looks at me as I am waiting in line, she gives me a side-long, mean look. She is a tall Causian female, fat, and she has dark hair, which she always wears in a ponytail. Come on now, you are in the health care field. She should be more concerned with weight loss. Not serving mean, evil, looks to customers. I asked the person who rung me up, if my receipt is going to have a survey. She said that there is usually a survey, but I checked when I left the store, and there was not one. But I did indeed received one about 2 or so months ago when I was in line for about 15 minutes. I don't know if they were short of help or what. Anyhoo, I will be moving my prescriptions to another CVS Pharmacy. When a store has employees that act this way, who knows they may start f--king up or tampering with your medication.
