Walmart is not my favorite place to come, I'll be the first to tell anyone that. With that being said, this location is fantastic!!!! It's large, it's clean and very well maintained. Everything I was looking for they had in stock, including these Patty Pies everyone seems to be obsessing over, so of course I picked one up. I also grabbed her peach and blueberry cobblers too! Why not? If you're gonna go in, go all the way in!!!! Even the store was super busy, the shelves are still fully stocked so there's no scrambling to get to something before someone's else because it's only one on the shelf. They also have slot of registers open including the addition of multiple self checkout lines. If your shopping drains you, this location has a full service Dunkin' Donuts inside. read more

Not only did he forget to scan lash glue that a fellow employee had gave him because it was locked, he scanned a sauce I bought 2 times and he noticed but didn't say anything. Today I chose to stand in line for a Walmart cashier. Only one line open, I was third in line. The line grew longer, still only one cashier. Finally another cashier was added, but he not not take next in line, which would have been me. I figured ok, at least they opened another line. Both lines grew long quickly. I asked to speak to a manager. She called for one, no answer. She turned her light on to get a managers attention. Finally one showed up. I asked her if anyone was paying attention to the lines for just two cashiers. A third register was opened, but should have been 4. Get a clue Walmart. some people do not like self checkout. They are not helpful. I tried returning the useless airbed I purchased from this place since it keeps deflating. They simply said we don't return it. I tried requesting manager but he said the same thing. The manufacturer of this product doesn't pick up my call so I may end buying a new one and I have to trash this one. The Walmart on Liberia Avenue in Manassas is absolutely the worst. There is no customer service. Workers standing around with their thumbs up their a--es, management is the worst. Bought Christmas presents that don't fit the recipiant and suddenly Walmart has a no return policy. The items still have all the tags on them, they have not been worn. My recent visit to the Walmart at Manassas Mall (Virginia) was a relatively routine experience -- until I reached the self-checkout area. A store employee named Hum came up to me as I completed my purchase using the touch screen. He said, "When you get receipt, you click five-star." When the screen displayed the prompt "How was your experience today?" he actually reached in front of me and clicked the five-star rating and said, "You see, like this" -- as if I were some sort of illiterate dolt. This employee's action was rude and insulting, not to mention dishonest. How many customers a day have their satisfaction rating hijacked by this cheat? As I drove home, I called the Walmart store to report the incident. When I chose "Store Operator" on the menu, it rang endlessly with no answer. Walmart may have low prices, but it gets a great big ZERO for customer service. read more

I have called numerous times with no answere called pharmacy they transferred me to customer service still no one will pick up the phone.

So, pickup and delivery are wonderful life changers for this location. Thankful to not have to do too much shopping in store these days. I would give 4 stars for that, as we rarely have issues with this service. However, half of this review is for the store itself. They do a wonderful job at making you feel like cattle, going in on one side and through the new barriers. At night time they lock the home side doors and don't leave any signs indicating so. I have a feeling that this Walmart has been victim to one too many shopliftings, as the entire system seems to treat everyone in the store like criminals. At least (the times I've gone lately anyways) they stopped doing the whole "scan the receipt then scan every large item even if it's buried" thing. The people in the photo department are rude and inattentive. I've been twice where I've stood and waited for them to finish their conversations and acknowledge me. It's not my fault you work at Wal-Mart, so... don't take it out on the customers. Plus, I passed one of their employees on the floor the other day either talking to a friend or listening to a friend but I overheard "that was my third grand larceny charge." I guess I don't know what I expected, though, from people who work/shop there. Recommendation? Keep your criminal history to yourself or to a private conversation elsewhere. read more

This Walmart is pretty large and has a lot of items yu may need as it is a super store. Lines can be pretty long so make sure you have ample time when shopping. The custom return lines also can take forever so be prepared for that. It is a large store so you have a ton of options for whatever you're looking for! Make sure you have your receipt before you leave, they will ask for it. read more

Took me about 15 minutes to look for a Blu-Ray movie.. and it wasn't in the Blu-Ray section. Since I guess the Blu-Ray mvie was on sale and just released.. they moved it all the way to one of the entrances (not the entrance I came in.. there are many entrances). so.. kind of dumb to NOT have the blu-ray in the blu-ray section.. and to only have it in one spot. read more

So I went into Walmart which I normally do not. I usually do an online order and pick it up. I needed a birthday cake so I went in. The ladies behind the case were not asking me if I needed help so I decided to step back by the ice cream cake case to get their attention. I asked if they could write on a cake. The first thing she said was I needed to step back out in front to the main case. I said to her I was there and you weren't asking me if i needed help. She said I was busy working....ok and that is why I wasn't rude and yelling excuse me ect. Got the cake written on and went to pay. The cake was 28 dollars I went back to check the price and that is when I saw another lady of the same nationality as the walmart employee who got an attitude with me standing in the same place talking to her. The walmart employee was smiling and being all nice to her. After the lady left she completely ignored another lady different nationality that was waiting to have some bread sliced. She said excuse me twice and the second time she said I need this bread sliced. The Walmart employee was so rude and said I'm busy give me a few minutes. Seems to me that the lady working in the bakery at this Walmart is a bit racist. Wonder if anyone else has experienced her attitude? read more

I had never been to this Walmart before, and don't generally shop at Walmart at all actually. But found a good deal on a instant camera online and said it was available for pick up at this location. Being about $20 cheaper then I could find anywhere else I decided to make the 25 minute drive to this location as the one closest to my house didn't have said product in stock. I am a bit obsessed with finding the cheapest price for things (aside from food). I will say that this Walmart is on the cleaner side. At least it was when I went. On a Monday at 11. I had to use the restroom which I generally try to avoid at grocery stores but this one was surprisingly clean and stench free. Amazing. 3 stars for that. I head to the electronics to find that the camera is one that is locked and has to be retrieved for me by an employee. No big deal, the lady was nice and helpful. The price in store was $12 more for the exact same thing as online. I asked if she could price match from the site showing her the website from my phone. She explained something about how that is an online only deal and I would have to buy it online but could choose site to store pick up and head to customer service up front to collect it. I did just as she said. And had to wait in a sluggish line of about 5 or so people before being helped. I was then told that I have to wait for the order to be fulfilled and they would email me when it was ready. I explained I was following the direction of the gal in electronics, where in her hands she held the precise product I wished for. The gal in CS seemed rather clueless but was persistent that I had to wait for an email or text from them letting me know when the order was ready. Reluctantly I went to lunch near by, took my time, refreshing my email. An hour and a half went by and still no email. I made my way in store regardless, ready to go home and not willing to make the 25 minute return trip later in the day. I was further annoyed to find the waiting area of CS to be even more chaotic with easily double the amount of people now waiting. More employees now manning the area but the line moving even slower now. While I didn't have a confirming email they did finally allow me to take my order and leave. Finally. All in all it was honestly not at all worth the $20 I saved. I will never again use the site to store option. Clearly that is a popular option based on all the people waiting to also collect their products, and the seemingly clueless flustered employees. They certainly need a better system for the process. Should have just bought it off Amazon like I first planned! read more

I am like many others, stuck inside by Covid-19 and while I'm hibernating, i needed groceries. So, i thought i'd give Walmart Delivery a try. I'm not a Walmart hater, i like going there even if it's not politically correct.. So my delivery adventure started and ended quickly at first. No deliveries available, every slot gone, all the pick up slots were gone, so no way to order. So, i logged on for the heck of it late at night and voila, every time slot for Sunday was open (2 day wait). I booked 1pm, and shopped for my stuff. I ended up with pretty much everything i needed, some stuff i should have skipped but oh well, we're all trapped at home.. Delivery guy was on time, he brought it all to my house, everything was perfect, the strawberries were amazing.. I can't find anything bad about this process. They charge $12.95 a month for unlimited deliveries plus a tip for the driver. With Covid-19 ruling our lives, i'll do this and get food deliveries and even after this ends, and i go back to work, why not do this and not spend 2 hours in the store.. This is a horrible Walmart. I've worked retail, so I understand what it's like to be a cashier and work in a store like this. The cashiers are completely unfriendly, and not very efficient at their job. They're slow and sometimes uncertain about how to actually perform a simple task. The staff lacks any knowledge and skill on how to assist customers, to the point where customer service is practically nonexistent. I came here at midnight with some friends. While we were walking around, there was a staff member mopping the floors. They had absolutely no wet floors signs to warn customers that the floors are slippery. I understand that people should be watching their step, but it definitely seems completely unprofessional and unsafe to have no wet floor signs at all. When we went to go check out, there was only one cashier open. The line started to get long, and finally another cashier opened up the next register. Once the cashier was open, they pulled customers from the back, instead of taking the next person in line. I'm completely dissatisfied with this Walmart, and any chance of returning is highly unlikely. read more

Oh my heavens everyone in this store is so rude! From the moment I walked in the door every employee was rude to me! Like I was the plague walking in! One lady kept calling me sir repeatedly, I know I'm tall and everything but after you check me out at the register and see me pull my wallet out of my purse, look me in the eyes, then keep calling me sir? If you don't know the difference between sir and ma'am I recommend not using either. The only reason I give this place two stars instead of one is that it is really nice inside. It's very big, with a lot of stock - it is, after all, a Walmart Supercenter. And, prices are low, as you might expect. It's clean, and it's well-organized, and most of the employees seem to have a pretty good grasp of English, and that's always a plus. In the minus column, ingress/egress for the parking lot is just strange. There are no hand baskets, only huge carts for you to put your gallon of milk and two boxes of Cheerios cereal in. I asked one of the clerks where the hand baskets were, and she told me, with an impassive look on her face, and focusing on some far-off object with her eyes, "There ain't no baskets. We had some, but customers just walked out with them all the time, and we ain't never had 'em since". It doesn't seem to matter what time of day it is, or, what day of the week it is, they're always just a couple of cashiers short of what's needed to move the lines quickly. I've been in the men's bathroom at this store not once, but twice, when another male customer has brought in little girls (his daughters, I presume) into the men's room while he uses the facilities. It's weird, and uncomfortable, to have a 6 year-old girl staring at you while you're using the urinal. I mentioned this to one of the employees, and she informed me that a lot of the foreign nationals do that here. She seemed unfazed about it, and I inferred that that she believed there was no reason to stop these guys from doing this, that it was no big deal. There are a lot of employees in the store, but they're all "busy", or, helping another customer (even if there is no other customer in sight). This is a perpetual state of affairs at this store. The staff people in the Electronics section seem to know nothing about almost everything they sell. I know it's Walmart, but, c'mon, complete ignorance about the inventory you're pushing? This store continues to decline - in fact I find it more repulsive every time i go there - don't get me wrong, I love to save a buck and that alone keeps me coming back however there is a point at which I won't compromise my standards and we are fast approaching it with this store and the one on the other side of town (Liberia Av) - both stores are relatively new or recently renovated to SuperCenters - yet they appear disheveled and dirty - by dirty I mean the floors and shelves - not to mention the blocked aisles with so much merchandise you can barely navigate the store, especially when it is busy. I'm a huge Costco fan and if they had everything one needed, I would never shop a WalMart; unfortunately they do not carry a few hundred thousand items so WM is the best place to shop PROVIDED YOU CAN STAND GOING THERE. For me, the store is a direct reflection of the local management and/or district manager - if they had minimal standards and enforced them, the managers of both these stores would have long ago been fired. I guess the mentality is "hey, we are busy as heck, and selling tons of stuff and no one is complaining (loudly) so we don't need to clean the floors or shelves; we can very nearly block the aisles and lower all our standards. For example, some of the cashier's move like snails - it's like "I'm here for 8 hours, no sense in getting in a rush" - vs say a Costco cashier, who can check you out in a few seconds - even a long line at Costco moves quicker than a short line at WM. But I digress, WM's are not Costco's and honestly not even in the same league. But, if they continue value my patronage and want my money, things need to change - and change soon. FYI: not all WM's are dirty and disorganized - if I can figure a way to share a photo, I will - we are on vacation in NC and the local WM, Morehead City, NC is just incredible. It's almost like a new store, yet it's been there for many, many years - you could eat off the floors, NO merchandise is stocked in the aisles and the employees seem like they actually enjoy working there - friendly, efficient and quick. It's like night and day going to this WM and the ones in Manassas, VA, where we live. And personally, I think it is all about the pride of the management team - they want to be thought of as a nice place to shop, not some dumpy, frumpy discount store, but a place that has a nice deli (a REALLY nice deli and bakery), a well stocked store with plenty of everything. I have a photo of the front end, where people would cue up to get checked out - It's at least 25' of wide open and CLEAN tile flooring and not a spot on the floor - it's kind of an amazing photo really, at least to us it is... because we are use to dirty floors and messy shelves, snarky clerks and management who could care less. It's a Walmart. That really says it all. I'm not going to expect the best customer service or attentive employees because really--it's a Walmart. I've come here a couple of times. It is a nicer Walmart than the other ones around me. The Fair Lakes one is just a disaster zone and this is the best choice. It's not as crowded. It's clean. I do love how wide the aisles are. I went here to pick up an order online and waited at the Customer Service counter for probably close to 10 minutes. There was one person working but she was doing returns and I didn't know how to reach someone for Customer Service. I looked to other employees with puppy dog eyes--hoping they would realize and comm over an employee that manages the Customer Service Desk. Finally--a woman came. She wasn't really nice but not snooty. She just didn't seem to care and seemed to want her shift to end. I gave her my order and she spent her sweet time finding the package. 5 Minutes later--she comes back with a large box and thinks that I'll be on my way but oh no--I asked her to open it to make sure I had all of the items and luckily I did because it was only one of the items. She goes to the back and grabs the other box. Good thing I asked her because I would've been jipped! Now, these are two large boxes and my arms are only so wide. I carry the two boxes and no one asks if they can help carry it--mind you--it is raining outside too. Terrible Customer Service for online orders. I asked a employee about office supplies and he told me and walked with me to the area. OUTSTANDING. There was a lady that was back an forth, I saw her in 3 different places while i was there, she was laughing and smiling.. She had long hair, African American. I like to see this in these times it creates a good environment. Walmart is walmart but these are the things that make a difference.
