This is a pretty standard Walgreens. I've been to this location numerous times and they're pretty short staffed both front and pharmacy end. Service is ok but inventory here is pretty decent compared to the other Walgreens I've been at. For snacks and beverages I have a good amount of options and they're usually fully stocked compared to other Walgreens locations. A lot of their staff have retired or are relocating to a different Walgreens so they don't have as much help as the other stores. Ok place to shop at, would return. read more

I visited this Walgreens to get my Pfizer booster shot on September 24. I saw the Walgreens corporate announcements stating that walk-ins and appointments would be available for anyone in an eligible category. A few hours later, I visited a local Walgreens and asked if they were currently taking walk-ins. The pharmacist said they were, if I was willing to wait for about 45 minutes to accommodate the current appointment times. I gave them my insurance card, vaccine card, and ID while I filled out some necessary paperwork. Once the paperwork side was done, I waited in one of the many chairs at the end of the aisles by the pharmacy. The customer flow at the pharmacy was pretty steady while I was there. It seemed most people were there for vaccines, either for the flu shot or for initial/second doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. Most customers did wear masks, although there were some who would only put them on when it was their turn to get a shot in the back area. All Walgreens employees were wearing masks, although one of the stockers had his around his chin and didn't even adjust it when talking to customers. The store seemed to be pretty clean and organized. When they called my name for the booster, the process was very easy. They verified my identity, administered the shot, and updated my vaccine card. I was able to leave with additional paperwork about possible side effects and the V-safe program updates. I would definitely consider returning for future vaccines. read more

My wife had been going to this Walgreens for prescriptions for a few years and always used the drive-thru. Today was my first time to get a prescription filled, but being on a motorcycle I had to go inside. First time in line, after 3 minutes of checking my ID cards and verifying my address they said no prescription was there and I needed to call my doctor. I called the doctor's office and explained they didn't get the prescription to fill while in the store. The office said they would resend it and should be there in less than 5 minutes. Being a hot day I went to get a 20 oz soda and was charged $2.22; unbelievable for a discount store. Went back to the pharmacy counter 20 minutes later and they said they had it now and would fill it in 5 minutes. Waited for 10 minutes until a clerk called me over and said the prescription was ready, but only one of the 2 vitamins could be filled as they were out of the B12; how can you be out of vitamins I asked and got no real answer. All this wait and being over charged for a soda I called my doctor's office and asked the prescription be sent across the street to the CVS. By the time I walked across the street to the CVS it was filled and I was out of the store in 2 minutes total time! Use CVS in Manassas on Sudley road, not Walgreens for anything, especially get a prescription filled! read more

I'm sorely disappointed in the pharmacy at this Walgreens in Manassas. I went for my 5:20 pm appointment to get a Covid booster and they had a line so I had to wait for about 10 mins after a guy cut in front of me. That's not their fault. So I asked the girl/woman at the pharmacy check out how long it would be to wait and that I could not finish the paperwork on line. She said she checked me in and the pharmacist would give me the paperwork to sign. I waited and waited and people came in for various things including vaccinations. So after the last couple that was there before me went I thought I was next. Apparently I was wrong. Another gentleman who got there after me was called. Then I was finally called to fill out the paperwork after 1 hour and I asked about the wait and making sure I was checked in as I had been there for 1 hour. So I quickly filled it out and went to sit down again. I was sure I was next. So I saw the pharmacist come out and I got up. Nope I was not next. I said out loud. You ve got to be kidding me. I'm not next? I've been here for over an hour and I'm done. I told other customers this is a terrible Walgreens and good luck if you are getting a shot. I left without getting my shot in a Walgreens where people are coughing and sick and I did not get my booster. Hoping I don't get sick now either since I had to wait for nothing. Went to go pick up a prescription last week and saw that it was delayed by the pharmacist and that I would be contacted for more information. They never called! I had to call them and was accused of refilling at different Walgreens Pharmacies and for taking a high dosage for this particular medication. When I arrived there to pick up my prescription, the pharmacist manager had it in her hands as if she was threatening not to give to me and accusing me of cheating the system for switching Pharmacies even thou this particular medication was in short supply and hard to find without calling ahead to each pharmacy before hand to see if they had it in stock. Once I explained all that to her, she insisted that I stick with one pharmacy only as if she wasn't listening or didn't care! I felt completely discriminated and prejudiced against by this pharmacist for overstepping he boundaries like she did with no knowledge of what my condition is that I'm being treated for!!! I will be taking my business to another pharmacy where they treat their customers like humans rather than with extreme Prejudice and Discrimination!!!! read more

VHS to DVD transfer...slam dunk! It doesn't sound that difficult does it...I mean the technology has been out for several years. I went to Wallyworld...they dude didn't understand what i was asking...I went to the TLA Pharmacy...'think about it a sec'...it was the same thing...english not the primarily language and ultimately...no help. I took my prescription to them and they told me there was a problem with my insurance. That they needed an approval to fill the prescription, but not to worry they would take care of it, contact my doctor and get my prescription filled for me. I gave them three weeks and they did nothing. I will be taking my business somewhere else. read more

The most convenient corner in Manassas... no really. You have a CVS, a Rite-Aid and this Walgreens on each corner... overkill much! I'm usually a CVS kinda girl and I often find myself on "that" side of the road where getting all the way over to the Walgreens is like playing Frogger in a bumper car, but on those rare occasions I am on the other side of the road, I like to swing on in to Walgreens. They have the most random clearance section, I often find myself perusing the isles and finding cool stuff like Vino Smoothies. Yes, it is exactly what you think it is, a Wino's dream. The only place I've ever been able to find it, the Walgreens. The cashiers are always really helpful; I've never had to wait for anything there. The store is clean and well stocked. It's REALLY bright in there too! Oh, and get your sweet tooth on in there right after Halloween. They have the BEST deals on all the left over candy. My office looks forward to what I score every November! read more

The manager misinformed us about a service given and denied talking to me over the phone since I spoke to him verify the service they provide. Despite me making the call and asking him repeatedly and he answered "yes we do it". I make a half an hour drive with kids, then tells me he hasn't talked to me and that they don't give that service with no apologies. Terrible manager and customer service!! read more

Fairly new Walgreens that is in line with all the others that seem to be at every stoplight I find myself! I will say that this pharmacy was very helpful in directing me to another Walgreens pharmacy when they could not fill my specific perscription! That was pretty cool! read more

The Pharmacy Manager is an entitled prick with an inferiority complex who thinks he is a real doctor and has the right to question a real physician's prescription. They refused to fill my prescription even after my doctor faxed paperwork over that proved he wrote it. I will NEVER give Walgreens another dime of my money. I have not used this store for the pharmacy but I can rely on them when I need some snacks before the Sunday afternoon games, to include beer. The line was about five people deep when I walked in but by the time I had gotten my items there was no wait at all. The cashier reminded me to put in my phone number for the card discount and saved me $4. Quick stop and good customer service makes me a fan of this location. read more

I had just gone in and was waiting for someone to come up to the photo area, which waiting wasn't an issue since I was looking through a little booklet but she asked if someone was helping me out and apologized for the wait, she was incredibly professional and helpful with everything! I have visited this store regularly since they opened about a year ago, and their service has always been fantastic. The employees are very friendly and I am often greeted by two or three of them before I even reach the checkout. I am particularly impressed by the pharmacy. The convenience of a 24-hour, drive-through pharmacy just can't be beat - and you can order refills by phone (automated system) or online, with just the refill # from the bottle. The pharmacy staff have been incredibly quick to resolve any formulary issues with our doctors and insurance. read more

I am never disappointed when I go here. They have very good sales such as the 2/1 AZ tea at least once a month. Their candy sales are better than Walmart's! As well as a larger selection. Michelle always greets with a smile. In fact the whole staff is friendly. They always help to find me a solution whenever I can't find what I'm looking for. read more

I agree with the other reviewer's comments about the pharmacy manager who thinks he knows more than a person's primary care physician. He did the same thing to me - refused to fill a legitimate rx because it exceeded the FDA's recommended dosage for women. Never mind their records show I've been taking that dosage for 2+ years with no adverse affects. He also got on my case because my new prescription was for a CR type of medication but I still (according to his calculations) should have had pills left over from the regular prescription. Again, NOT THE ISSUE HERE. I wanted to STOP taking the old pills immediately and start with the CR version so I could get a full nights' sleep for once. I don't know what this manager's beef with doctors is, but this wasn't the first time I had a problem with this guy's refusal to do his job. It is, however, the last. I'm taking my business elsewhere after being a 10+ loyal Walgreens customer. They are a joke. read more
