I was in there at 4:30 to 6 PM and there was a gentleman young guy that was very helpful and asking me would I like any of the cabinets open extremely helpful and then I asked him could I use my coupons he looked everything up and made sure I got discounts on all three items extremely helpful with a nice treat and usually the pharmacy is very good as well. They usually get you in and out very fast although there's always lines they have an excellent service and one of the employees that works in the Pharmacy looks like micheal jackson. Also, I had a refill that I wasn't able to get for another week. They checked it out and found that I could pick it up on Saturday. They're so good at going over your accounts and making sure that your prescriptions are filled they act as if they're a personal service for you. Everyone's always wonderful that the pharmacist on call in-house the assistance and the information this outstanding service and the Manager's wonderful also they get on the phone all the time if there's anything that you need this is my neighborhood that I grew up in and that hasn't changed the service. I tried to get a photo printed here and it was supposed to be done in 1 hour and the time kept bumping and bumping. From 9:30am, 10am, 10:15am, etc etc etc now it's at 12:09pm. In the morning, I went to CVS. I wasn't happy with how I looked in my passport photos, and I had somewhere else to be. I called another CVS location to see if I could re-take my photos at another store and show them my receipt. They said that I could do that. In the afternoon, I went to the CVS on Pico Blvd. The woman took 3 photos of me. She didn't show me the 3 shots. She just printed out what she wanted to print for me. I told her that I didn't like the way the photos came out. It took a while for her to come back and help me. The manager came over to talk to me. I was explaining that I didn't like how I looked in the photo, and that I wanted to re-take the photo again (One of my pearl earrings was showing, the other was hidden behind my hair. You could also see spaces in my hair). The manager had more enthusiasm when speaking to me and told me that I could re-take the photo. I waited around a long time for the other woman to come back. She took 3 more photos of me. She didn't pull up the photos of me at one of the 2 self-service kiosks next to me. She goes behind the register again and tells me to look at my photos from there. I explained to her that I'm nearsighted. I couldn't see from behind the counter to the computer that was opposite the register. What I had to do was zoom in with the camera on my phone to see my photos. Even still, I didn't get a good look at my photos. I felt rushed and that she didn't want to be there. What's the point of having the 2 kiosks for the customers to use? I explained to her that at the other CVS location I went to, the employee would go to the customer kiosk and let me look through a selection of 7 photos, and that again, the kiosk was in reach of me so I could see my photos properly. She responded, "We don't do that at this location." I was okay with the first photo that she took of me, even though there were 2 things bothering me about the photo. I didn't ask her to take photos for me a third time because I'd seen how she'd already worked with me. Part of me wanted to say nevermind to the new photos taken at this location. I wanted to go to another CVS, but I think these passport photos will suffice. read more

Long story made extremely short, we stopped in here because one of our kid type folks wanted to look for something. Basically I wandered around and compared to what a CVS back home is like. Really the CVS brand seems to be the same where ever you go. Not really a bad thing at all, having a universal store that has items that are the same is quite handy. They have all of the stuff you've come to expect to find at a CVS location. Ranging from cosmetics to medicine, food, greeting cards, electronics, drinks, snacks. They have a pharmacy for call in subscriptions. Store was well organized and clean and the staff were friendly. Being a member helps save money and earn rewards for later use. If we lived here I wouldn't have any issues with shopping at this CVS location. read more

I went in today to get my Covid booster after being told they took walk ins. The pharmacy said no walk ins and they don't have enough vaccine ! Told me to come back next week or if I wanted maybe try again at 5:00pm. This is a great way to get people vaccinated and totally different from what is told on the news. I am a senior and was refused as a walk-in for my booster and essentially because they don't have vaccine. Did an online print for a canvas, took the time to get the mock up the way I wanted it then when I went to pick it up part of my photo was cut off from the canvas. I showed the employee that part of my photo which appears on the mock up was was present in the print he printed but he said it wasn't his fault and that's just how it prints. I asked him why the mock up looks different but he said if you don't want it you don't have to take it with no resolution to the problem. I did want the print but wanted to figure out why the mock up didn't look like what he actually printed he just said I don't know go do it again. I guess there's a reason these guys have a two star rating. read more

They gave me really bad anxiety , made me feel like I was wrong for coming to pick up medications. I'll call early in the morning they give me an estimate time of an hour . Came by today to drop off a prescription. The pharmacist told me it'd be ready in 15 minutes. I responded, "cool, I'll be back in an hour." I went back nearly two hours later and was told that the prescription wasn't ready yet, and that it'd be another 15 minutes. I was like uh uh, no. You told me 15 minutes two hours ago. They tried to make some excuse like "oh yea you have one prescription ready and another one that isn't ready yet." By the way, the one that was supposedly "ready" was the one I had told them to stop refilling last time I was in the store, a couple weeks ago. Guess what they did? They refilled it. So after some back and forth, the employee tells me she'll expedite the one I dropped off in the afternoon, and it'll be less than a 10 minute wait. Well I guess they kept that promise, though I still had to wait for the pharmacist to juggle phone calls and other customers while she is ringing me up for my prescription. Either they are understaffed or just plain unorganized. But there is no reason that a prescription that was in stock and that could've been filled right away wasn't ready 2 hours later! read more

I'm a diabetic and I ran out of my insulin needles. And my next prescription wasn't available yet. Which happens if you have to use insulin. Sometimes you end up needing to use more than you ordinarily do, and you run out early. No problem though right? Cuz insulin needles are available without a prescription right? Well....yes....and, no. This CVS FLAT OUT refused to sell me my insulin needles. They did not care a single f#ck about my diabetes. Go die in the gutter was their attitude. Soooo beyond unacceptable. These people are not medical experts. These people are not doctors. And yet they feel like they have the right to make health care decisions which may end up causing you great physical harm. Hippocratic oath? What's that? They ain't never heard of such a thing at this CVS. They honestly deserve to be shut down over this kind of stuff, but I realize the consumer has no protections in this regard. There is no legal recourse. The law allows them to do these things. We only went in for one thing but she pointed out at a sale that was going on and well I couldn't walk a way from that . The staff in the pharmacy is great! They ALWAYS acknowledge a customer's presence with a greeting. The store is well organized. They are great with processing my orders and getting my med on time My only problem is with the entry which I know CVS can't do anything about. The garbage cans are often spilling over onto the steps. There are members of our homeless family standing about - near the doorway, on the steps, near the base of the steps. I find that I don't want to touch the handrail either going up or going down. I've moved my prescription to another CVS. read more

The staff is good, always helpful. HOWEVER... My primary complaints are related to the trash that continues to be a problem everywhere on this property. It's just everywhere. The trash cans overflow and in the underground garage, it's just disgusting. They REALLY need to get control of that place. So many people are just hanging out in their cars and they leave their garbage everywhere. Last time I was there, there were three guys hanging out, smoking pot and drinking beer. Please get control of this space that is for PATRONS and clean sweep this place on a daily basis. read more

This has by far been the worst experience I've ever had in CVS. I typically ignore bad experiences as one offs can happen to anyone. But today, we were in the neighborhood. My daughter had to use the restroom. Found the restroom, locked with a code. Attempted to speak to the older female pharmacist but she completely ignored me, like rudely. I then spoke to the young lady at the pharmacy register. She says that she doesn't know the code to the restroom very bluntly and rude. Ask the bald headed gentlemen at the register for the code, he says the bathroom was suddenly out of order. We found a gas station a few miles away to use the facilities. It's OK to deny the use of the restroom to customers but don't do it rudely. read more

This CVS has got to have the worse workers possible. None of them seem to know what they're doing at any give moment. The photo department is a sort of joke. The one hour service took a good two hours and there was no one in line or anyone who ordered prints prior. The store was empty. I think I amused myself with a Taylor swift musical birthday card. It seems that the shelves are stocked terribly and do they have any alcohol? Nope. I can't even drink the pain of waiting here for my pictures for so long. Half way through I asked what the deal was and was told they hadn't even started the order. Again, no one was even waiting. The main worker that seems to be here whenever I'm desperate enough to come in here for those last minute needs is clueless as to how anything works on the cash register. A couple weeks ago I was in line when a man cut in front of me. I mentioned (politely, I promise) that I was the next person in line. Suddenly the man (three times my size and possibly drunk) started shouting at me! The guy kept yelling as I turned away to pay for my items, so I quietly asked the cashiers if security was available. The response? A cashier laughed under his breath as he repeated my question back to me. That's when I went from feeling mildly unsafe to thinking I should probably be leaving soon. In fact, I probably would have spoken up for myself if I hadn't been feeling sick, seeing as my whole reason for going to CVS was for orange juice and cough drops. The non-asshat cashier, Charles, seemed to feel bad for me and pointed out that my receipt had coupons. Thanks, I guess? As soon as I got home, I emailed CVS Customer service and got a surprisingly nice, non-form letter back from them, and also the store manager left a voicemail for me apologizing for the situation. I feel somewhat better, though I still consider this CVS as my last resort. I'd rather go to one of the other 80 drugstores where I haven't received a tongue-lashing, y'know? read more

i use to not care what drug store i went to, as long as it was convenient. CVS/Walgreens were the same to me, until i started to go to the pharmacy.. i went to CVS to get my prescription filled, and this location has the WORST customer service ever. my medicine was a little difficult in which they would have to verify with the doctor and company, and they were so lazy in which they said it was not verified. i spoke to my doctor and he said they never called! the doctor even showed me the call log. i confronted the pharmacy and they said they must've had the wrong number! they didn't' even apologize. they didn't care and were just plain rude! i have never been so frustrated and have never experienced such HORRIBLE service. since then i don't even want to shop in a CVS for that fact. don't go to this location, the pharmacists are horrible! they're rude, the wait is always long, and they are inconsiderate read more

Been coming here for a while and the pharmacy has the worst service in the history of mankind. If you want to be treated like a drug addict when filling a prescription (even if it's just antibiotics), by all means go to this pharmacy. Especially if you like getting generic even though your insurance covers name brand, you specifically ask for name brand, call to confirm you're getting name brand, but get generic anyway. Don't bother waiting on hold for the pharmacist so you can ask him to fix THEIR screw up or you'll wait forever. CVS obviously stands for Crappy Vacuous Service. read more

This pharmacy is understaffed, badly run and the managing pharmacist is nasty. I have so many examples of bad service here; these are my last two experiences at this pharmacy. I called in advance for a consultation with the pharmacist about medication interactions. When I arrived, the pharmacist told the technician to talk to me instead! Only after I insisted that it was the pharmacist's job (not the tech's) to know about drug interactions, did she reluctantly review my meds. Today, I called multiple times throughout the day but the pharmacy did not answer their phone all day. When I arrived to pick up my prescription, the (same) managing pharmacist refused to acknowledge not answering their phone all day. Instead, she nastily said - to all the customers there - "Well, just look. This is what they give me". I have no idea what she meant. But I do know that this CVS pharmacy is badly run and the managing pharmacist does not deal with customers appropriately. read more

This CVS is right across the street from me and still, I will never step foot in it again. Aside from having very standoffish, sometimes rude employees, their photo department is AWFUL. I ordered several items on line - thank you cards, pictures and individual greeting cards. The order was all split up and I had to go in 3 times before they found it all and that was only after I forced the young (19-20ish) manager to look again or allow me to go back there and look. He gave me some song and dance (not very enthusiastically) about how they were in different envelopes than he was used to seeing. How ridiculously dumb do you have to be to work at CVS? So, anyway, I forgave them because, this place is across the street for goodness sake and who can beat the convenience of that? My second experience is related below in an email to the customer service department: To Whom It May Concern, On Saturday 10/09/10, I sent a one hour photo order to CVS via your website. I sent it to my neighborhood CVS, store #9781. I received the below confirmation email almost immediately which showed a pick-up time of 11:21 AM. I arrived at the store at about 11:35 AM and the clerk had no photos for me. Then the manager came out and looked. He said, "The order just came in, and I just got back from lunch." I suppose that was somehow meant as an excuse for not honoring the one hour pick-up time? I had intended to pick up these photos for a grieving friend whom I was visiting that day. I had to leave without them. If CVS is unable to commit to a one hour pick-up time for its one hour photos it simply shouldn't have the one hour option. This is the second time this location has failed its obligations! I will be taking my photo business to the Walgreens a few blocks away, and since I will be there anyway, I will do all my pharmacy shopping too, since stock and services are virtually the same...and they may be better able to live up to their customer service obligations. While I may be the first loyal customer to inform you, I doubt I am the first to turn to another chain because of this sloppy customer service, failure to meet commitments, and the lackadaisical attitude of the manager. _________________________________________________________ I reordered my prints from Walgreens and got them in an hour! And they have 24 hour phone customer service versus CVS's 8-6PM Monday through Friday, Eastern time hours. I got an automated call on TUESDAY about my one hour photos from Saturday. Oh, and I did receive an email response to my email, which said they would like ME to call THEM back to talk about my complaint. Yeah, right. I might have even considered another CVS location until I got that email basically telling me to spend even more of my time on their ineptitude and laziness. My friend came in today to the pharmacy to pick up some medication for a prescription that was given to him by his dentist and the pharmacist denied him the medication because according to her "he wasn't a regular customer". Yet this is our closest location. I never knew they could do that. So disappointing. read more

I went in to pick up a prescription a full 45 minutes before closing time. The pharmacist nastily told us that she had too many orders in front of her and she wouldn't process mine. She said I would have to come back tomorrow. Now, I had been in a car accident the day before and desperately wanted the pain relief medication that the ER had prescribed. I was in no mood to travel across town to another CVS, but that's what I did. I found the pharmacist at the W. Pico CVS to be rude and uncaring. I won't be back. read more

From what I can tell they stock the shelves a lot and the products I buy in bulk (fake eyelashes) they are always stocked.
