This pharmacy is very innovative! They have a built in clinic where I can see a nurse practitioner and can get prescriptions and then fill at the pharmacy. One stop shop! Instead of a doctors office or urgent care, the clinic inside the pharmacy can do it all! It's a very cool and smart idea! TreatMednGo is the name of the clinic. I went to the Olympic pharmacy to get my covid testing done and I must say it was done very fast and efficiently by the pharmacist and owner Sam. Really loved going to this store because for being an independent pharmacy they truly had whatever I needed. It is so difficult to find thermometers, face shield and other essentials during the pandemic and this store carried it all. Unorganized and Lie about time of testing results. Took my test on Saturday and received results Monday afternoon because they got my email down wrong. The Manager- SAM- didn't seem to care and even though they received the results Saturday, did not choose to send it. This is a breach of trust as the test was under 24 hour results. Manager believes he is always right and accuses customers. Store is small and overstuffed. Takes many minutes to pickup a refill medication with desk workers, standing around while you wait. read more

Awful place. The manager is horrible. He does not pay people and takes advantage of free six-hour labor. Pharmacy is overall overstuffed with unnecessary items like flip flops from downtown LA warehouses. Avoid this place. Just hop over to CVS. read more

I went in today to get a KN95 mask and half the pharmacists were not wearing masks! Instead they had on clear face shields, which are NOT effective at preventing the spread of Covid-19, per the CDC. Plus the masks are absurdly expensive, around double what you'd find online. I regret going here. I was so shocked that I practically ran out. Hello, I recently obtained insurance and this is the only independent pharmacy that is linked to my union. I'm a firm believer in unions and small businesses and always have been. I've stopped in here twice now to drop off prescriptions. Unfortunately I'm continuing on controlled substances that I need to take for my health. I don't expect to be labeled, judged or treated a certain way due to my health. I understand that there are hundreds of chain pharmacies all around, but I choose this one because it's convenient to me. They're located around the corner from my doctor and just down the street from my residence. I look at the reviews on here and think wow I wish to one day write a great review as well. Today was the second time I have gone in within 2 months with the same generic "We don't carry this" answer. At the end of the day a pharmacy is a pharmacy. You can fill any prescription. You choose weather you want to or not. Last month I had to travel pretty far to get them filled but they were able to do it with a smile, I got to know them on a personal level, and it's sad I just physically can't make it there. I was truly looking forward to Olympic Blvd Pharmacy to treat me just the same if not how others here on yelp were treated. Nancy I know you told me you would look into getting my prescriptions but I now doubt you'll follow up. These are items I need soon so will have to go to a chain this month, but please be prepared again next month when I stop in again. Third times a charm and I'll change my rating here once I'm apart of the family. read more

I suffer from an autoimmune disease and have done for many years. Obviously there are many medications involved. For the last 15 years I've relied on Esther and Vida. I also have several medical allergies. Sometimes a doctor will prescribe a drug but Esther is smart enough to tell me that even though the drug isn't one I'm allergic to it will react with another one I'm currently on as if it is the one I'm allergic to. I hope that made sense. Basically she's a lot smarter about meds than most doctors. When you go to chain pharmacies you're not treated like a real person. AND the prices at the chains are no lower than at Olympic Pharmacy. All of these ladies are warm, smart and care about every patient. Olympic Boulevard Pharmacy rocks! read more

I am a physician and have been using Olympic Pharmacy for two years now. I love them. First of all, this is such a better experience than going to one of the big chain pharmacies. All the staff at Olympic know me by name, they pull my medications for me without me even having to ask, and there are never long lines. Sam and the rest of the pharmacy staff are very caring and knowledgeable, and while I don't often have questions for them, whenever I am in their location, they are always helping customers with clinical questions, and as a physician their recommendations are always right on. I just can't say enough good things about this place. The pharmacists and staff are amazing and they have always gone above and beyond for me and my family. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly supportive. They always take time to answer my questions and they truly care. They are great with compounding too!! Do not travel without getting a consultation and a list of shots, meds , and info. its 50 dollars for a consult and they write you the script and give you the meds. Instead of waiting weeks to see a Dr. to write a script , I was in and out quick with the anti malaria pills I needed. This is so much easier than dealing with waiting rooms etc read more

Sam and another woman wanted ten times the amount three other pharmacies wanted for my prescriptions. I was there today for the fourth time because, even though I had surgery stitches and a drain, I told Sam I would come back to the pharmacy because he was so busy. I gave his employee my drivers license, Aetna card and Express Script information (a series of six ID numbers that they needed -- GROUP ID, MY ID; Vin number, etc. etc. etc.). That was 4 days ago. Today, as I said, I showed up and they wanted to charge me TEN TIMES what every other pharmacy wanted to charge me. I was patient four times and not today. Sam told me last week that he would help me if I TRANSFERED all of my prescriptions to him. I have never been treated by professionals with advanced degrees in such a mean, cruel and ugly way. Please Please do not choose this place of business. THey are going to take advantage of you and rip you off. read more
