Absolute worst. Wish I could give them 0 stars. Bought $1,900 worth of Amazon gift cards from this store. Nine of them turned out to be FRAUDULENT. When I tried to get a refund from CVS, they refused. Said "talk to Amazon." Took them 10 days to come to that conclusion. Their customer service SUCKS. The woman talked over me the entire time, like she was reading from a script and refused to listen. I hate CVS so much. Run away from them. Do not buy gift cards from this store. Unfriendly rude, few pharmacy cashiers speak English so questions of any kind are redirected to another long line.

The lines here are always long. Parking has become impossible. All the lots around the store are private. Customers are constantly being shuffled back and forth between windows just to wait even longer. Someone is always angry at one of the staff. There is constant employee turnover. The good ones from years ago have left. I think it's time to find a new pharmacy. The frustration isn't worth it. And to top it off, the Minute Clinic is gone. read more

Careless, rude and incompetent. The pharmacy processed my prescriptions using incorrect insurance information. When I discovered their mistake , the pharmacist I spoke to (after they kept me on hold and hung up on me three times!) was rude and never even corrected the error. Meanwhile I still haven't managed to get reimbursement from my actual insurance. read more

Update for updating Covid 2024-2025 vaccinations. CVS online scheduling LAST time was a trifecta of errors. CVS online scheduling THIS time was better. Site recognized hubby's and my accounts therefore didn't require re-entering personal data, immediately confirmed appointments with both email and text. CVS glitch at THIS attempt to schedule was a message that Covid vaccine was either not available or there was no CVS store in our zipcode. Hm... Entered a nearby zipcode. Boom, the desired CVS location which happens to be the zipcode we share with CVS and is on record for our accounts popped up immediately. Hm... Day of, confirmed via text when we arrived. Text was not acknowledged. Had to bother a pharmacist. Hm... Other than that, process was swift, pleasant, scored some cheddar popcorn plus discount store coupons which according to the fine print we weren't supposed to get because it stipulates one must have received two vaccines simultaneously (i.e. Covid, Seasonal Flu). I am not one to review but after getting the run around for a prescription and for the pharmacy and staff rushing work without the courtesy of their customers time here is a list: 1. Sold vaccine's without the responsible information for me to make the best decision and outcome was missing a business trip 2. Pharmacist said they will call back and had to physically go there because I couldn't get an answer 3. Person at the pharmacy department doesn't bother to tell me my coupon's didn't go through when she rung me up and tosses my coupons in the trash until I check my receipt and go back and have her retrieve them from the trash. read more

What's the point of coming to this CVS when almost everything--detergent, toothpaste, and basic everyday items--is locked up? I'm leaving this review hoping that someone from the pharmacy sees it: I've been coming to this pharmacy for over a decade and in the last several years I have had three separate instances where the number of antibiotics that were dispensed was incorrect. Twice one pill was missing and once two pills were missing. And when I called the pharmacy each time to tell them about the mistake, they didn't really seem to think it's a big deal. I stopped in here since it's literally a couple of blocks from bougie, nice Beverly Hills, which is funny how a couple of blocks away can be a totally different vibe of humans. Respectfully! This was my first visit to this CVS location. I shopped in store. I did not use the pharmacy. The store is located on Wellsworth and Westwood. There is a free open parking lot on Wellsworth. I was a bit confused about how to enter the building because the entrance is not in the parking lot. You have to walk around the corner to the door. The first thing I noticed about this CVS is that it is on the larger side which means more merchandise. It's also very clean and well organized. I had a 40% off coupon so I went to buy my go-to pricey full-price item with the discount. I noticed that the in store price was greater than the online price. However, you can stack coupons so with the 40% off and a coupon I had for the product I ended up paying about the same price as I usually do online. I also had an online return and that was also quick and easy to do. There were a lot of people in this particular store. There was only one person working as a cashier but a lot of people were at self check out and there are a plethora of self-check out stations. Still, I prefer more staff at the desk and I also am old school, and prefer to check out with a person. Our cashier, was awesome though. He was so helpful in helping us find what we were looking for and he also made us laugh. The customer service here is top notch. If you want to save at CVS I highly suggest becoming an Extracare member. You get lots of great coupons and it really helps you save when you shop. read more

I was full of joy and whimsy until I made the unfortunate mistake of trying to get my prescriptions filled here. The pharmacist who "helped" me treated me with less respect than my toxic League of Legends teammates. I was so shocked that I started having flashbacks of my whole life, starting from my birth, trying to figure out what horrible things I couldve done to deserve such treatment. And I still came to the consensus that even the worst thing I've ever done didnt warrant such treatment from this pharmacist. Anyway, it first started off with my doctor sending my prescriptions to this CVS. I checked my CVS app and -voila- my prescriptions are there! An hour later I check again and, what the h*ck, it's gone? I thought it was a technical glitch so I call the pharmacy to see what's up -no answer. Fine - I leave a voicemail. Noone ever called me back so I decide to go in person to ask. Pharmacist told me theres no prescription and clearly doesn't want to help me. So I try to explain my situation but he obviously doesn't care and ignores me while yelling at the next customer so he can "help" them too. Didn't even suggest to go talk to consultation. I probably would've walked out in shock and utter desbelief if my boyfriend didn't make the suggestion of speaking to consultation. The parking situation here is a disaster always full. And they are so stingy with syringes. I have two under 4 who get sick a lot and I get their antibiotics here and always ask for extra feeding syringes and always get only 3. It's like 2 cents or less for them. Why so stingy? Every single time a priscription is send over this pharmacy screws it up. My insurance is contracted with them, so I am forced to use them. The employees here are incompetent beyond words. They should all be fired as they are not able to do simple tasks. They also lie a lot, making all sorts of excuses for their screwups. They do not answer phone calls, even from the doctor's office, so it's very difficult to get them to fix the problems they cause. Most of the time I have to have my care giver go to the meds, I have to pay her and every time CVS screws up the order in come way. This CVS needs a complete overhaul of its pharmacy staff. Most (not all) of the staff I have interacted with are incredibly rude and unprofessional. On top of that, they frequently make errors (pill number incorrect, medication not ready when they claimed it would be, phone calls not returned, etc). I really dread coming here. Corporate needs to do more quality assurance and customer service training. read more

Had to at least leave a review. This place is literal hell. Forget about the parking, that's a whole other thing. Went over here yesterday to take a passport photo at their ridiculous kiosk that might as well not exist because it doesn't offer what it offers. I'm sorry, but it just doesn't. Standing there right near the register, with every single employee avoiding eye contact with me, because they'd rather bludgeon themselves with a price scanner than ask me if I needed any help. Totally fair, right? An older employee wearing a mask, was carrying a cash tray from the register towards the back, I stopped him and said, "Excuse me, could you ask somebody..." He didn't let me get much further than that. "Nope, nope, nope," he said, and kept walking, "I'm cashing out." I said, "Bro, I'm just asking for SOMEBODY. Anybody. Doesn't have to be you." He was wearing a mask, so I couldn't see everything that he must've been thinking, but he stopped and it seemed as though something sank in momentarily, but he just couldn't do it. I said, "hey, thanks my man, really appreciate you." I'm gonna chalk this one up to he had something on the stove, but it's always refreshing to remember I can count on CVS. I called the store to see if their recycling machine was working. The person I spoke to said it was. I waited in line behind one person using it, then when my turn came up, the machine was full. This is not the first time I've been lied to about the availability of the recycling machine at this location. They love playing games with me and getting my hopes up. My message to management: Ask the recycling company for a copy of the key to the machine, so a manager can empty it themselves. I yelled and blew off steam as I walked out of the store, since I don't take kindly to being lied to. If anyone at your store ever lies to me again, whether about this or anything else, you'll be sorry. I look forward to a response from management. read more

If I could give less than one star I would. I have been coming here for years. This is my neighborhood Cvs this has nothing to do with the lovely people who work in the store. They are always helpful, kind respectful patient and very good crew always. I feel bad for the security guards because they have to watch people come in and steal stuff and walk out. They are also compassionate nice people. Who show massive patience with the people who frequent here The new ish pharmacist here and is simply mean rude not kind to most people. I've seen her impatiently be very condescending to people, especially elderly people. She has no empathy. On more than one occasion she has been very mean and impatient the elderly. A month ago she was SO MEAN to this little old man that couldn't hear nor understand her speaking so quickly and she was some what loud and condescending. She then noticed the 8 people in line hearing and watching her so SO AWFUL she caught herself and then showed him kindness and patient with his needs. I gave her a pass this time thinking we all have a bad day. However, today I witnessed her do it again to another elderly man she's just simply not nice doesn't care and doesn't really want to help anyone Then I had to deal with her and she was just simply rude. Didn't care to look up the cost of my medication which was $1000. Clearly incorrect The other kid working there was super nice helped me and said you should ask her Joann or Joanne she can look up your insurance and see how much it might cost. She could not be bothered with helping me or doing anything extra to help me and could care less Tonight I told her she was rude. She's mean to elderly people and she should be nicer. She again could care less for what I had to say. I then went and told the guys at the front desk who run the store and they agreed she not very nice. My recommendation definitely go to the store. Not sure how this CVS location was able to collect an average rating of the entire two stars! They deserve zero stars. 1) The prescriptions do not get fulfilled on time, and you need to call to remind the pharmacy. 2) The pharmacy does not like talking to people on the phone. I tried calling them three times and waited about 1.5 hours in total today. 3) While they keep you on hold, they keep replaying the same ad about their online services over and over and over again. Instead, my advice would be to: a) Play some sort of pleasant music. For example, Mozart's Don Giovanni is a wonderful opera, which lasts 3 hours and 30 minutes. I could probably finish the entire thing while on hold b) Play some sort of educational podcast. For example, it could be a science podcast or a foreign language learning podcast. This way, while waiting, I could earn a Ph.D. or become fluent in several languages. Thanks! read more

I have been going to this pharmacy since 1988. Today I was disappointed because service was not like it used to be. I gave Gilbert my ID and he informed me I had nothing to be picked. An hour before CVS called me to pick up prescriptions. All the CVS in Orange County are manned by great and courteous clerks. The drop off pharmacy technician was also rude speaking in Farsi talking about me. Then she said yes I have RX ready snd should go Back to the pick up line. Gilbert tells me I gave him the wrong last name when I merely gave him my CDL. Talk about incompetence. read more

BEWARE OF FALSE POSITIVES FROM RAPID ANTIGEN TEST AT THIS LOCATION AND THE NEARBY ONE IN SANTA MONICA. On separate occasions, my coworker and I scheduled an appointment for rapid testing at this location. We are both vaccinated and are still doing routine testing for the safety of our workplace and loved ones. Within a span of 2 hours in one day, she received 2 POSITIVE results from a RAPID ANTIGEN test, and underwent confirmatory testing to be certain about this result. 3 PCR test results within 48 hours of this "positive" result came out NEGATIVE. I received a POSITIVE result from a RAPID ANTIGEN test from this location on Tuesday, and due to the situation she had, I scheduled 2 confirmatory PCR tests within 48 hours which all indicated NEGATIVE for COVID results. TLDR; the rapid antigen testing kits here and at the nearby one in Santa Monica are showing up as FALSE POSITIVES for DOUBLE DOSE VACCINATED people and causing emotional distress. WARNING FOR THOSE WHO HAVE UNDERGONE SIMILAR TYPE OF TESTING - get several confirmatory follow up tests, as recommended by the CDC. read more
