The freaking shelves are mostly empty or they fill them with repeats of what no one wants. It's infuriating! It's the only one close to me now that the one I had gone to for decades in Venice closed. If it doesn't get better I will be leaving and going to either Ralphs or CVS and dealing with the drive. The pharmacy always has a line and I swear they are overworked by the look of frustration on the pharmacist's faces. I don't even know if adding more employees would do the trick. Then again, if they just came out of bankruptcy Rite Aid aren't going to add the payroll to their overhead. They even close for lunch now. The staff here are on top of things. They are busy too, but I always get a text from the CVS app, that my Rx is ready for pick up. Parking on the lot is free. I usually enter from Lincoln Blvd. Unfortunately the area is not always great. This is not the fault of the staff who work at CVS. I am always careful to look and see who is lingering in the parking lot before getting out of my car. Overall, I really like the staff at the pharmacy here at CVS.

They were also OUT of Canada Dry-Zero Sugar that comes in a box of 12. I also needed their pack of KIND bars, and they didn't have that either. We had to get that from Smart and Final that always has everything and is fully stocked. Needed an air freshener that you can plug into the outlet for our restrooms along with fresh, clean linen scent applicators that came in count of (2) inside. Both items were available. Glade brand is the way to go! Also got one gallon of water. Open 24 hrs, including the pharmacy, store was somewhat clean, no one on the floor to help him and he used the self serve checkout. Some shelves were empty, but aisles were easy to navigate. Carpet was also dirty. They also have a drive-thru. They have a gender neutral restroom, and a huge parking lot. Can't comment on their pharmacy, because we use another pharmacy that is near to our house. We get several coupons from them in a month. They only honored one 30%. So why keep sending the other ones? Each coupon is good for $25-to $30 worth of merchandise. I will stick to the CVS that is close to my house.

I simply asked if they could transfer the prescription to my Walgreens. The employee told me Walgreens would need to call or fax them, which was fine, so I asked for the fax number. She audibly huffed before giving it to me. Then I asked for the name of the prescription so I could give Walgreens the correct information, and she responded, "You don't know what your doctor gave you?" That was incredibly rude and condescending. Patients are allowed to ask what medication was sent to a pharmacy, especially when they're trying to correct a pharmacy mix-up. I wasn't being difficult or disrespectful -- I was literally just trying to transfer my prescription. There was absolutely no reason to speak to me like I was stupid for asking a completely reasonable question. Basic professionalism and courtesy would go a long way

The sign of the quality Pharmacy is one that carries Solgar. Whole foods, Vitamin Shoppe, and Bristol Farms were all out of it--but they had a little fresh stock left here and I am thankful that they did. Also, the front checkout is rarely staffed properly, meaning I'd rather buy any last minute item at Whole Foods or online. So weird to see this store run worse than Rite Aid.

I'm a senior and I was supposed to get important medications that if I don't take I could get sick or worse meaning death. I paid for the medications and I paid for it to be delivered. They keep making excuses real flimsy excuses of why this happened or that happened or they don't return any correspondence. Any mix of this. I've had to call and speak to a social worker regarding elder abuse because I'm not able to get my medications even though I paid for them and also make a police report and I'm going to take it further and I'm talking to an attorney this coming week. Nate promised me that I would get the medications tonight Friday night between 7:00 and 9:00 p.m. and didn't. And I didn't get it last night. And there's constant delays. Parmiz the other pharmacist is a narcissistic gaslighter. She hasn't even checked the messages since Tuesday afternoon. She tried to gas light me that I didn't return her correspondence on Tuesday when I did. And I have record of it. Maybe she needs to get off her lazy behind and check the text messages that come in. The staff acts like they are doing you a huge favor just by looking at you. My prescription was supposed to be ready days ago, I called, I went in person, and every single time they had some new excuse. First it was "the doctor didn't send it." Then it was "the insurance is pending." Then it was "we're out of stock." Which one is it?? I had to call my doctor myself just to confirm they had sent it--spoiler: they did. When I asked how long it would take to actually fill it, the pharmacist just shrugged like they didn't care at all. No apology, no explanation, nothing. I literally watched three employees standing around chatting while people in line were waiting 20+ minutes. The vibe is just complete incompetence mixed with rudeness. I honestly don't understand how this place is still in business in a city like Santa Monica. Go literally anywhere else. I'd drive across town before ever stepping foot in here again.
