Came in here to get some snacks while in Santa Monica. Just your typical CVS store, very conveniently located with its own parking lot. Fast and friendly service here, always a plus. I got my snacks and I was out!!!

The wait time to speak to the pharmacy on the phone averages 20 minutes if you're luck. It can be 40 minutes. It's outrageous.

These convenient store tend to get robbed regularly and I almost always avoid them, except today. This was the nearest and most convenient market around. I was thirsty and needed alkaline H20 so I stopped inside this 7 eleven. Purchased 2 liters of alkaline H20, 2 liters of Fiji H20, a bag raw almonds and 2 bananas. The female cashier was super nice, friendly and helpful. She offered me a discount on the items I purchased and she seemed genuinely nice. I thanked her and asked where her lovely accent was from...she replied 'Burma,' next to Thailand. I immediately said, 'oooh I Love Burmese Rubies!' She was shocked I knew, I smiled, winked and thanked her again :) And right outside this 7 eleven is a guy selling fresh flowers. The flowers, particularly the stargazer lilies looked so fresh and intoxicatingly fragrant, wanted to buy a bunch but didn't have enough cash on hand. I spoke to the floral guy Ramon in Spanish and complimented him on the lovely flowers. Within 5 seconds he put together a bouquet and gifted them to me...such a thoughtful gesture. I gave him the limited cash I had and thanked him profusely. Despite my fear of convenient stores, there are some genuine kind hearted people that are just super nice with heartfelt intentions and do Acts of Kindness. I felt blessed and grateful to come across these angels xoxo!

I've had mostly good experiences here since I recently started using this pharmacy, but I ran into…read morea frustrating issue with their automated phone system. Like many large companies, CVS appears to rely heavily on automated voice systems instead of having a person answer the phone. Unfortunately, these systems don't always seem ready for real-world use. On Tuesday, March 10, I called and used the automated system to refill a prescription. The system confirmed that the refill would be processed. I was a little hesitant to rely on the automated system alone--and now I understand why. I wasn't able to pick up the prescription on Wednesday, so on Thursday, March 12, I called at 9:12 a.m. to make sure it was ready. No one answered the phone, so I left a message. At 9:18 a.m., someone from the pharmacy called me back and confirmed that the prescription would be ready later that day. However, when I arrived around 4:30 p.m., the pharmacist told me there was no record of the prescription request at all. They also said they had no idea who from the pharmacy might have called me earlier in the morning and could not find any note or record in their system. It was essentially as if the previous two days of communication had never happened. This was for a heart medication. After I explained the situation and the time I had set aside after work to pick up the medication, the pharmacist was kind enough to give me two pills (heart medication) to hold me over, which I appreciated. Still, the overall experience was frustrating and made me question the reliability of the system and the coordination between staff. The pharmacist on duty in the afternoon had no information about who had called me earlier, even though the call clearly came from the pharmacy's local number on my caller ID. I hope CVS improves communication between staff and the reliability of the automated refill system. I'd like to continue using this location because it's convenient, but experiences like this make me wonder whether I can depend on them when it comes to something as important as prescription medication.

But I will give the associates points for knowing exactly where to direct me in my quest to get in and out as quickly as possible so to ensure I didn't have to pay even more at my parking lot. The store itself was well laid out and kept clean. The aisles were wide and well organized. Honestly, I would have no problem coming back here for other items should I find myself in the area. I'll just make sure I have my battery needs already taken care of.

HUGE storefront with a LOT of products (grocery, pharmacy, deli, bakery, dairy, produce), and the staff keeps it very clean. Not only did the manager in glasses show a complete lack of basic compassion and empathy and humanity by caring more about me filling his report so him and the store not get in trouble, than actually seeing if I was hurt, He asked me dismissively if I was ok, didn't even help me up and just wanted me to fill a thing, and when I told him how I felt he got defensive and didn't gave a shit about making it better in any sort of way.. he started to argue with me.. I left the store, crying, upset in pain ( I hurt my knee really bad) and completely not taken care of and paying the little bit of things I had. He didn't even offer any kind of compensation to make up for their negligence, but his attitude made things even worse. I have been a long time Vons customer, specially the Palisades Vons and have always loved the employees and been really sweet to them. I never right bad reviews but I as really angry about this. If anyone out there reads this and cares I am very very upset at how this was handled. I work in customer service and this is not the way to go about it. Please do better! The woman at the cashier and the man who bagged my groceries was actually really sweet!

They've got a nice butcher section with fresh meat and seafood. There's a deli case with close to 20 items -- ribs, chicken, lasagna, mac 'n cheese, soup and more, depending on the day. They've got about a dozen salads, including three potato salads, and about as many deli meats for sandwiches. The beef stew was excellent, the lasagna, chili and meatloaf also very good. The sandwiches are solid and very reasonably priced. Two things stand out for me here: their weekend barbecue and the tamales. Someone in their kitchen makes delicious Oaxacan tamales (which are not always available). These tamales are chock full of chicken mole -- perhaps the highest ratio of filling to masa that I've had -- and are neatly wrapped in banana leaves. The burritos are similarly pre-made and stuffed to the gills with the protein of the day. As for the weekend barbecue, every Saturday and Sunday morning they grill select meats from the deli (prime steaks, tri tip, chicken, etc) which you can buy throughout the day at the deli. The Farms also has fresh vegetables, premade salads and all the other items you'd expect from a neighborhood grocery store. Service is super friendly, and there's free parking in back. It's definitely a good spot for a meal to go.
