This review is for the Pharmacy -- I have lived in multiple cities and used various CVS Pharmacies throughout LA, and this by far THE WORST pharmacy I have ever tried to fill a prescription at. There are always angry customers who have problems here, so I know it's not just me. Yesterday I had to call twice to fill a prescription and both times I was told it would be ready within an hour. I never received a text that it was filled or ready, so I had to wait until this morning when they opened to call again and check on it. They then told me they don't have the medication in stock, even though TWO people told me the day prior that they had it and that it would be filled within the hour. How is that acceptable?!?! I could have spent my time trying to fill it elsewhere instead of waiting for them to fill it like they said that they would, so I lost an entire day of waiting for nothing. The people who work here are incompetent, lazy and do not care. I am now out of my medication and had to scramble and literally spend more than an hour and a half trying to get it filled elsewhere. Additionally, I had to call this CVS 4x before I was able to talk to someone. I went through their automated system each time, then was on hold waiting for someone to answer, and each time about 4 minutes after being on hold it would hang up and disconnect the call. Like what??? I will never try to fill any prescription here again. Do not waste your time and get burned by these incompetent people. Literally any other CVS is better than this one. read more

Connected to the Beverly Connection, it's very central and close to the Beverly Center on the corner of La Cienega and Beverly with a lovely storefront. But there's issues. * Transients. Okay, nothing the store can do. * Parking. Crazy at times. A mixture of tight spaces, and people that can't drive create a big backup to the one exit. * Lighting. So dim. * Large store, with a unseen back wing for the pharmacy. Strange setup. So overall, it's okay, why not just go 1 floor up to Target? A much better experience. read more

I don't think it's customer service so much as it is understaffing, which often comes from the company itself. Them trying to save money, overwork people, and make profit. Which is a shame because its harder on the employee and customer. Overall, an ok store. If you need something from the locked cabinets, expect a wait. read more

Now I'm done with this location, for good. I went to the pharmacy for a legitimate script for one pill of Valium that I need for a procedure tomorrow. The pharmacist refused to fill the script and said that it's state law that he can't give it to me. So I had my doctor send the script to a speciality pharmacy, incredibly inconvenient to get to, and I asked the pharmacist about this "state law." The pharmacist had never heard of it and said that there are some pharmacists that refuse to provide documented prescriptions of Valium because they just do. So, after my HIPPA was violated by a cashier asking about my condition half a year ago, refusal to help looking for a specified product, and now refusal to fill a prescription, I'm done. *typed on my iPhone read more

I have been back and they are working on making some improvements. The filthy carpet has been removed and has been replaced with tile. Much better. The store still needs a lot of love in terms of dinginess and stocking. I'll keep an eye out and let you know. read more

I'd give ZERO stars if I could! Check the negative reviews, I had the same issue as others when going here. I arrive at 1:30 PM and they said they are going on an HOUR break.. (keep in mind 5 workers there, why not stagger their hours?) ... they could have easily just not made a big deal and gave me the medicine in the first place for my grandma that was LITERALLY ready, and paid for. Just needed to be handed to me. That's all. This place is a joke. They expected me to wait an hour for their lunch break? I argued and finally got my way, they gave me the packet which took 10 seconds, literally... but this is so unprofessional. They got no empathy for others at this pharmacy. People working in healthcare or medicine should put the customers / people in need first. I work too, I've taken my breaks late many times. This place is the worst pharmacy ever. Especially the older lady in the front named Mahir or Mina, forgot her name, but she was not good at her job and needs to be talked to by the manager or someone. This stuff isn't right. Went in and was in a bit of a hurry. Needed something in a locked case and waited a few minutes after hitting the customer service a couple times. Nobody came, if you insist on having things in locked cases, perhaps either adequately staff the store or train your employees to actually provide customer service. This is the worst cvs I've ever been to. They have a lot in stock but the customer service is beyond unacceptable. I'm not sure how this pharmacy is even legal. I've been waiting over 2 weeks for a prescriptions I dropped off in person. Called to follow up because no one ever called me and they had no record of it. So, I went back in person and the other pharmacist explained that they are floating pharmacist so they don't communicate with one another. I called again to put in my prescription at this point I am transferring it because the convenience isn't worth the hassle and stress. They are rude and unprofessional. I can't wait to collect full names so I can report them to the medical board because this is medical negligence at this point. I've spoken to 3 different pharmacists - 2 males and 1 female but still no progress. Also spoke to a clerk Natalie the fourth time and she was kind but still no progress. Pharmacy on duty - floater 12/22/21, Dr. Yu. Natalie confirmed still nothing in the system for me after over 2 weeks. I'm disappointed at the lack of accountability when dealing with someone's health and livelihood. They shouldn't be authorized to operate anymore. I should've read prior reviews before trusting that they would deliver from me knowing this as a trusted pharmacy nationally. Parking is free but let's not support this cvs and take our reviews not only to Yelp but also to the medical board and CVS executives. I wish I could give a 0. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. This place is the absolute worst I never go to any CVS pharmacy unless it's an absolute emergency. I was in line at 1:30pm & they announced that they were closing an hour for lunch. Would have taken less than 30 seconds to complete my transaction. I'm literally hacking up a lung & they couldn't care less! Why the f*#% can't they stagger their hours so they are open all day? My little neighborhood pharmacy is able to do that. If your insurance allows, you to go to a mom and pop pharmacy instead of having to go to CVS then boy do I recommend with all my power that you do so. CVS pharmacy is the worst pharmacy in the whole wide world. The people that work there do not give a crap about you or the fact that you are sick and you need medication. They are lazy and incompetent. They lied to you and will not lift a finger to try to help you if you are in an emergency. They literally have no empathy or compassion whatsoever and you must rely completely on your doctor or your doctor staff to help you if there's any kind of trouble with your medication getting filled. For example, if your medication is out of stock, they say they will order it for you and that it will come in the next day. Do not believe them! There are absolutely no guarantees for anything that they say to you, especially if your medication is a controlled substance. They tell you one thing and then do another and if you are left sick from opiate withdrawals because they didn't get the medication in when they said they were going to then too bad for you! They couldn't care less and they show it! I employ you to go anywhere but CVS!!! read more

I never leave bad reviews. Long story short: Hostile staff, long waits, they don't answer phone calls or call back after a voicemail. Their system said they had my babys med in store so I sent my husband to get it for my baby who wouldn't eat without it. They said their system wasn't updated and that "your baby won't die from acid reflux." He didn't get that some babies can't eat without meds. Oh and they kept me on hold for over 30 minutes after transferring me from person to person. read more

I came here for an uber eats order, everything was going okay until i had to wait 15 minutes for a worker to come and open the freezer, they are very short staffed. staff are very lazy and take very long to give you what you want. The machine speaker went off for 5 minutes, "customer service needed at deodorants" and "customer service needed in aisle 7". When i was doing SELF checkout two workers came up to me asking if i needed help, i had scanned an item too many times so i said yes. I asked the worker to remove one of the same item, she removed two instead of one. I paid with my uber card and i asked her if i could have the item back and she said no because i didn't pay for it. Thats when i realized i paid for one instead of two. the worker was making a big deal about the bag fee as well when i paid for it. they saw how confused and frustrated i was and started smiling and laughing together. I know im not the only one with a problem with this CVS. It's the worst CVS i've been to please don't come here, it's not worth it. read more

This is the closest cvs pharmacy to me so I've put up with long lines at the pharmacy, to staff showing up late or not at all after their lunch break, angry arguments with frustrated customers...they are definitely understaffed but today was the last straw, as I called three times, waited 15 minutes each time to get through to the pharmacy and they answered & preceded to hang up each time. Not worth the stress to use this pharmacy, especially if taking your medication is critical. read more

What I like about this pharmacy: 1. Nice people who treat you like a human with needs, not an annoying number to deal with before break time. 2. If there's a problem, they are proactive in notifying you and actually helping to solve problems, not create more stress and problem for you. 3. Connie is the backbone of this pharmacy. She helped me find multiple things that I needed, and made sure I was safe when walking to my car at night. They are severely understaffed here, and they need more help. They need a new manager clearly because Armin isn't doing his job. I'm here at CVS at 8am, and could not get what I needed. But what makes me angry is that the store hours on line indicates it opens at 9am. On yelps and on the outside wall it indicates it opens 24 hours. When I ask the girl at the front desk who was very rude, she told me "it's been 7am and it hasn't changed for long time". But the store hours at the front door indicated 8am. How do you trust a store like this, not to mention that you need to rely on a CVS for your medication and health?? read more

I am not happy about the experience I had here the other day. Let's start with the parking. It's free but it's a mess. CVS didn't have what I came for so I went to shop in the seasonal section. It's a week after Easter and the candy is only 50% off. After shopping at CVS I made a Target run (there are a bunch of other stores in the CVS complex) and came back at 6:05pm. The doors were locked. Apparently they lock them at 6pm even though they are a 24 hour pharmacy. I was holding over 30 pounds of stuff I had purchased but the manager looked right at me and shook his head. Another store employee pretended not to see me. It was painful to have to walk around the store to the parking. That's a horrible, horrible thing to do to a customer especially so close to the time they close their doors. And, why are they closing their doors at 6pm anyways? Everything else is still open and it was still light outside. Went back into CVS after putting my other bags in the car. The manager who wouldn't open the door was just stocking the shelves. So, it wasn't like he was too busy to help me. Picked a few more things up at the store but skipped on a lot of items because they were pricey and I knew I could find the same thing cheaper elsewhere. Up at the cashier's desk there was the pungent odor of air freshener that had been over sprayed. I do like what I bought and I did get a coupon on my receipt that I'd love to use at another location. Also, note there is a $5 off $25 coupon on Yelp for this store. Will probably return here because it's convenient but if you want good customer service and good prices go elsewhere. read more

This has to be the worst CVS in Los Angeles. if you fill a prescription make sure you count your meds before you leave. Since they seem to keep some for themselves. Be careful they have floating pharmacists. I had a medication issue and the pharmacist Sondra who filled it only worked there that one day. They would not help with the problem. Makes you wonder if these pharmacists really have a license. One person in the front checking everyone out with at least 8 people on the line waiting To pay. This always happens. Lots of employees hanging out in the store including the store manager and doing nothing. Store manager walks around without his mask on. My friend went to pick up the medication for the surgery she had had that day. Calling different pharmacies revealed that they were not able to disclose whether or not they had the class 3 narcotics she was prescribed in stock. She was turned away without any information on which pharmacy she should try next after telling them she had been to several already (it was after hours and many had closed so her options as to where to go were a bit far from each other.) The women just looked at her and the visible staples in her head from her craniotomy, as she begged for help and they coldly and curtly replied they would not even place the phone call for her. She still wore the wristband from the hospital and was in obvious pain. read more

Well I can't speak for customer service or pharmacy, since I never dealt with it. Parking: I walk or bus it, but if you have eyes, you clearly see it's not much & very chaotic and just sucks balls. The reason for the 3 stars is it has items the others don't have (some bit pricey) and it's better than the one by Park La Brea apartments - that ones so congested & filthy; this ones clean. I only use the self checkout and I never speak to anyone, maybe that's why my experience isn't horrible. To me, it's just a CVS; I like all three druggie stores (Walgreens/RiteAid) they all have something different about them. For the all the bad reviews, jaw drop and sad for those locals who come on a weekly basis, especially since there's not many options in that area. read more

Staff was so helpful. I found all of the travel toiletries and snacks I was looking for. My bill was over $100! The cashier enthusiastically helped me check to see if I had any coupons and rewards. On a busy Friday night, she took her time and helped me discover $20 in coupons! I did not expect that. Her name was Connie and she made my day. On my way out, she was hugging a customer that she clearly knew very well. It's very, very odd to have a massive corporate entity feel like a neighborhood drug store. Shout out to Connie! read more

I'm gonna need the store manager (Armen Avetisian per the sign out front) to explain to me why the patrons of his store are punished by the back door being closed 24 hours a day. This completely segregates the store from the rest of the shopping complex, and makes my errands much more difficult. They constantly lie and say it is open earlier in the day, but when I'm here earlier in the day it is always shut. It is not the responsibility of the business to make sure the homeless don't come around. That is on the city to provide housing and opportunity. In my opinion, it's insanely cruel to shut off a coveted area of shade to our unhoused neighbors in 100°+ heat. CVS made $125.575 BILLION DOLLARS of profit last year. They can afford to lose a few dollars. read more

Terrible service. I arrived early for my vaccine appointment. It's 10 minutes after my appointment and they have helped 3 people who arrived after me. Update: I finally was seen 20 minutes after my appointment. They helped another lady first because she had "mean eyes". So much for being polite. read more

I've been going here for a year and it's always a frustrating experience. Theres a male supervisor is really hard on his employees and treats them as if they're stupid. They must be understaffed because it always takes 10-15 minutes on hold to reach anyone and they're kind of rude. And their hold music is essentially a choir of static-y screeching geese. And I'm positive they gave me a 1 month supply of something instead of a 3 month. So now I'm without meds for two months. I'm switching to another location. read more

Naz is the only pharmacist that I never have an issue with. Somethings wrong? she will do her best to figure it out for you. Shes kind and listens to what you need. Even on days or lunches where there are no other staff members to help her behind the counter, she is quick and efficient. I hate cvs pharmacy but she makes it a little less awful. read more
