I go to this Walgreens almost everyday since it's right by my place - the general (and photo) staff are great and nice! The pharmacy however is alwaaaays packed and a line but my issue is one of the ladies behind the counter is super rude and combative always (and confused!) and always and I mean always yells your medication which is super uncomfortable as everyone in line always hears! My husband said he always has the same experience and feels embarrassed as well. They need to hire more competent and more patient staff at the pharmacy! I have many pharmacist friends and they are the kindest people I know especially when I visit them at work. read more

Sadly-I was on hold for 15 minutes to speak with the pharmacy department at 1230pm on a Friday afternoon. The phone rang and just hung up on me. My question is a quick and easy yes or no, but the pharmacy department would not even give me a chance. I just washed to know if they stock/can get one specific medication. Do not go here for a password photo. Got my picture taken yesterday and it was not accepted through the online renewal system. Came back today and the picture did not go through to my email. So I came back again and still won't go through. Was told if it doesn't come through by tomorrow come back for a refund. Really? Such poor customer service. One hour and a half to fill a simple prescription from my dentist due to a complicated dental procedure and it wasn't ready. They said " would you like to wait ?" Yes !!!! I'm in extreme pain. Why does it take so long to fill a simple prescription. And then every person in line is a "issue" with one clerk that looks like she's 12 and kept going to the back for managerial help. If you want a free time travel experience, this small and old Walgreens just might be the place! OK, just kidding ... but I must say it's rare to run across a store that seems to be frozen in the 70's! From that automatic folding doors at the entrance (you have to see it to believe it), to the low ceilings, and the one and only cashier/checkout station, this store sure looks like it hasn't been renovated for decades. But most of the time since there aren't many people, it was actually pretty easy to go in and out! Also found some greeting cards for about $1-2 each; now that a price I haven't seen in other stores for years!!! Parking is super easy as they have a huge lot behind, usually not full. read more

Lmfaoooo! 10 years of my nice review has gone down the drain. It's the perfect example as to what proper management is so vital. The pictures of the disgusting floor have remained for multiple days, No one cleans here. I walk in all the time and people are sitting down on their ass on a chair on their phone and don't say hello many times I walk into this location and there's no one in the front at all and I have to say something or like look down the isles to get someone to check me out making it very easy for anyone with bad intentions to snatch whatever they want and the front end of the store. I imagine working at the store is a breeze you don't really do much to keep it running, During Covid most store value cleanliness not this location. There isn't a Walgreens in Beverly Hills so this pretty much the Bel-Air, Beverly Hills, and Century City Walgreens and the patrons that live in the area blatantly disgusted. Miguel should be fired for how I witnessed him speaking to a female who was well dressed fully capable of purchasing something. His response to her was just asking to use the restroom in a polite manner was demeaning and nothing short of unprofessional. Marisol is great she's a supervisor here but it's to my knowing she's not in Managment she has the longest employee that I am aware of at the store maybe she needs to be running things, or given more responsibility. read more

Yesterday at 7:05 pm I went to return a theraflu at store # 15930 and the cashier a young armenian looking guy named boon I think he asked for my license which I didn't have it on me then asked for a passport, that's when I asked for the MGR name Cecilia I think but she was too busy picking her nose somewhere in the building but she didn't come to help me just told that asshole cashier to refund my card. This is a far different location than the one I used to frequent in Hollywood on Sunset/Vine. I started coming here because it was closer to where I work. Although it's in a populated area at Santa Monica Blvd/Beverly Glen, the location itself definitely has seen better days. I'm grateful for the open free parking lot, but there can be some interesting characters wandering around during the day. One time late last year, I was here and I saw a dude talking to the wheelchair regular outside of the doors, but I didn't think much of it. However, when I walked back to my car, I couldn't actually leave, for there were two cop vehicles blocking my way. This guy from before-when I was entering the store-was evading the cops, and then it became a full-on foot chase. There happened to be a guy in the car next to me, and we made full-on, wide-eyed contact wondering what the heck we got ourselves into. Helicopters were flying above, and we obviously had no choice but to stay and watch the 'entertainment.' Eventually, another cop came along to move the shops blocking our cars in. I wanted to tell them they should probably speak to the guy in the wheelchair but they didn't seem as though they cared, so I just drove off to get the heck out of there. Anyway, back to the business, the pharmacy is what I come for and all the people I've dealt with have been great. I also scored one of those red W bandaids that are shown on the site after I received a shot, which was a plus. This was a good day. read more

I waited and waited and nobody came. Then one guy stopped by and stated that someone will come and assist. Nobody came. Had the WORST experience with this pharmacy. Needed asthma medication. Had my current doctor call in a prescription because my previous provider no longer got the facility I was previously going to. Tried calling Walgreens to confirm everything was ok, because this is a new prescription and I really need it. Walgreens pharmacy staff kept me on hold for 3 HOURS. Picking up the phone and placing me back on hold when it began to ring. They finally picked up the phone at 5:15. Of course there are issues with the prescription quantity and of course the doctor's office closed at 5. Staff apologies and says that there's no reason/excuse for not answering the phone. However, the pharmacist, Tomomi gets on the phone and is completely unhelpful and unwilling to even accept accountability. She was rude, dismissive and kept speaking over me. It's pretty disgusting to me that a pharmacy would keep someone who clearly needed help on hold for that insane amount of time. It's pretty clear that someone would only spend that much time holding if they really needed assistance. There was even a point that someone picked up the phone, asked how I could be helped then placed me back on the endless hold. This location is such a disappointment. read more

After a hellish week and a half at Cedars-Sinai for my SO's bypass surgery, the last thing I needed was the aggravation of going to Walgreens to pick up his meds. The parking lot is always a complete cluster f*ck, not to mention there's always a homeless person or two trying to hustle money. This time was no different, and with all the cars waiting for spots, you'd think Walgreens was giving away stuff for free. After waiting in line at the pharmacy where there was someone waiting that was coughing up a lung, I dropped off the prescription and was told it would take an hour. Not wanting to linger any more than necessary, I went home and was pleasantly surprised when a text came through 40 minutes later to say it was ready. I went back, struggled for a parking spot (while watching an SUV almost hit a homeless man pushing a shopping cart and then getting aggravated when a young couple chose to start making out instead of relinquishing their parking spot). I was relieved to finally find a spot and then wait in line again. Imagine my surprise when I was told that my prescription could not be located. I had to resist the strong impulse to start yelling. "How the f*ck could you lose it? You just called me!" Sure enough, even with the help of a coworker, the prescription could not be found so I had to wait another 35 minutes for it to be redone. Wow. You'd expect more from people who control the dispensing of medication. It made me worry that maybe the prescriptions had not been filled accurately - NOT a good feeling I know someone who lives walking distance to this Walgreens but is so horrified by their service that they would rather get in a car and drive 15 minutes to another Walgreens. I think they have the right idea. That said, the regular store isn't quite as bad as the pharmacy and clock in and about two stars. read more

When I got there was told the prescription was "stuck in the system" so would be 30-40 minutes. I asked if the Dr could send in a different way to speed it up. She looked at me like I was an alien and said it would still be 30-40 min regardless and to go sit down. She was so rude in her interaction. I arrived after making an order online and they said they had none in stock. I was annoyed that I got an email from Walgreens 2 hours after I had arrived at this location that they admitted they had a stock error. The drive here must've cost me $10 in gas. read more

Used the walgreens app. Scheduled my pickup.....called the store, after waiting 20 minutes. This place is a trip. Like people are noting, this looks like one of those stores you'd see in the NYC subway around 1985-1990. The entry is in the back, the doors are weird automatic folding doors and the ceilings are very low in spots. The aisles make no sense, some switch between groceries and toys or medicine for no distinct reason. They carry a weird assortment of things for elderly people. They have a freaking wall of disposable cameras, a large magazine rack and random clothing without buttons or zippers. They had a clearance sale section of "pride month" items - like it was a post Christmas stockpile of peppermint candy. The service is odd and generally terrible. They will try to inexplicably push the Walgreens credit card. Besides the oddness, the main reason I come is for the clearance sales. It's about the last place you'll see stuff very randomly marked down 80-90%. King Sized candy bars for 79 cents, fruit salad 50 cents. My favorite was 6 oz bags of premium caramel corn also for 50 cents. And it's all actually good product, just not in line with their geriatric customer base. You can do a surprising amount of grocery shopping here if you had to. Lastly for reasons I don't understand there are almost never unhoused people in the store. Usually these stores are magnets for them and there are plenty on the street but they stay out of the store even though it has no security. I don't think anything significant is locked up. First the person at counter has been dealing with a customer and i wasin line waiting after the customer she said the counter closed. what an inconsiderate employee. Where is customer service? Lloyd is not following Covid procedures in the store. As he helped me check out and a man came and stood so close to me I could touch him. I asked the man to step back the man stared at me and Lloyd did nothing to help. Lloyd never asked the man to step back and so the man didn't. Lloyd didn't care and told me I was being rude for then saying I could smell the mans breath. In all honesty, Lloyd and the man were both rude in not respecting the maintenance of a 6 foot safe distance. To put it simply: this Walgreen's is in desperate need of a management overhaul. While I try to avoid this pharmacy at all costs, I do end up here now and then. Every time I come to pick up a prescription, I end up standing in line for at least 30 minutes. Keep in mind, this is NOT a long line either...maybe 2 or 3 people in front of me. And god forbid I arrive before my prescription is ready or have to drop one off and wait for it...that's at least an hour endeavour. I think the excessive wait times are the result of two things: 1. A majorly understaffed pharmacy with technicians that aren't operating with any sort of efficiency or urgency. A level of ineptitude may play into this as well. 2. The clientele. The people I see come into this Walgreens often have major issues with their insurance and cause a huge hold-up. What's more annoying is that they don't call for backup until someone in line starts making a fuss. Truth be told, I feel bad for the pharmacists because they have a lot on their hands and then have to deal with cranky clients. This could EASILY be fixed by hiring additional staff. I cannot imagine that this Walgreen's hasn't received a boatload of complaints yet they don't seem to be listening or care. Not to mention, the entire store is dirty. It's questionable if the floor even gets mopped... Bottom line: take your prescriptions elsewhere if you don't want to waste your time and risk imploding out of frustration. read more

Just did my 1st Covid dose. The young lady doctor who gave me the shot (Ms. Shamatz?--sorry if I mispelled) was professional , polite, and kind. Distance was kept and most people behaved. I don't think the store is that bad...it's hard to keep everything clean and tidy when there's only few people working. In general, lot of people are stressed out so it was nice to experience a doctor who behaved kindly in these difficult time. Plenty of parking.
