Worst customer service ever ! I was on hold for like an hour to order a refill on medicine. When I finally was next the person on the phone was rude and did not seem to care at all. She said what do you want? Who says that to a customer ? When I asked when it will be ready she said tomorrow and I asked can I have it sooner since I need it. I do not recommend anyone to go to this pharmacy. I was out of town on business and went to fill a prescription in the early evening. The person at the pharmacy counter asked me when I needed it. I told her as soon as possible. She said that the earliest that they could fill it in was an hour. I told them I would be back the next day, I came to pick up my filled prescription the next evening (24 hours later). The line was very long and I waited at least 30 minutes. When I got to the counter and requested the prescription I was told it was still not filled (24 hours later!). I asked the person at the counter why and I was told that they have been very busy. She asked me it I could wait a little longer and I said "No". The next day I filled the prescription at a CVS in my home town of Raleigh, NC. It was filled in 10 minutes. read more

This place is absolutely horrible! Do not go here! The pharmacy tech told me they didn't have my medication (this was the 3rd time) so he told me to come there to pick up my prescription but he said it's done electronically when I got there and he wasn't able to give it to me to go to another pharmacy, but not only that these people are almost always having a bad attitude. Horrible customer service with absolutely no helpful knowledge of the pharmacy what so ever. They always ruin my day when I go there. It's like they don't want me to have my medicine. I would highly recommend to go to any other pharmacy than CVS. It is the worst pharmacy to go to for prescriptions and customer service. If you do, you will soon experience the pain, frustration, and stress with dealing with their understaffed, incompetent, and very unprofessional team. They have lost my business forever because they have consistently failed to fill my prescriptions, have put me hold over 10 minutes every time, and they do not help provide solutions to any problem you have. If I could give this review no stars I would!! When you call the pharmacy they immediately put you on hold and leave you on hold. I have to come here once a month to get my prescription and every single time there is an issue! The lines are always long and they are always understaffed. For them to be so busy you'd think they could afford to have more employees. It's always dirty and the employees are rude. There is only one guy in this location that makes it a pleasant visit and his name is kinad I believe. Don't bother coming to this pharmacy you'll be waiting a minimum of 30 minutes in line then an additional 10 once you get to the counter and deal with one of the slow pharmacy techs. Getting a prescription here is nearly impossible! It will take you a half hour MINIMUM just to speak to the person at the counter (no guarantee your prescription is ready). They really need a new system to speed up the lines. Your better off filling your prescriptions elsewhere until this place improves. read more

This is the worst CVS Pharmacy. I went to pick up a prescription and after waiting 20-30 minutes in line they said to process my new insurance card they would have to take another 30 minutes. They apparently are not able to run it over the phone prior to making you wait in line just to tell you that. Then I hand my card to the lady at the register and I tell her,"Can I trust you with this card?" She said yes so I told her I would be back later to pick it up and to please process it. Things happened and I could not make it back that night so I called today to ask how much the medicine for my son would be and they had nothing on my new insurance nor my card. Talk about careless. Then the girl on the phone is straight up clueless and giving me this sucks for you attitude. Definitely never coming back here. Good thing my 2 year old isn't asthmatic and desperately needing his albuterol. read more

Every single time I have been there, no matter what day of the week or time of day, there is a line of at least 10 people, and it takes me at least 20 minutes to get to the counter. Then, most of the time, I am told that they do not have my prescription, and can I wait at the "consultation" counter. This space seems to be reserved for other angry customers who compete to yell at the pharmacist, who always looks like he or she could care less. I would guess that I have been there about 15 times to pick up my prescriptions, and have only walked away with them in the end about 5. But I can say that it is a battle 100% of the time. I wish I can leave the star rating blank to indicate Zero out of 5. I would not say it's the worst RX on the planet, but definitely one of the worst in Maryland. One always waits in a long pick-up line only to be told the prescription is not ready "we are working on it, it will be ready in 15 mins" is always the reply even though they receive the prescription a couple days before hand. The pharmacy is perpetually understaffed. I've been to many other CVS in Montgomery County and never seen such waits as here. The staff is very professional and I blame the manager for poor staffing. I'm not sure why but there are times when there are twice as many people in line than working in the pharmacy department. The staff usually can find the prescriptions although it sometime takes them multiple tries to locate it. I know if is challenging handling the insurance issues but other pharmacies (including other CVS) seem to keep it all straight. I go there because that is where my daughter sends her requests. The only reason I'm giving this cvs two stars and not one is the fact that they have decent ish servicate and seem to be well stocked. (well not for the medicine it seems). My complaint is for the minute clinic. When I tried to sign in around 5:17 there was only one docter and she called, "we're not open" really quickly. When I asked when they closed sure said, "uh... like 5 15" but when we looked at the sign on our way out it said that it closed at 5 30. Every time busy store, long Que but minute clinic staff was very uncooperative and rude not a good experience specially I think he was the manager or head something he treated me very rudely this experience was Nov or Dec 2010 after a long Que he asked me to Waite 15-20 minute and when i came back then he told me that it can took 1-2 hour or more than that. I got frustrate because my ill son was with I decided to go home.Then my husband went there back at 12pm at night and then they charged the medicine price because the lady was there she entered the wrong ins card no, she told my husband that you don't have ins when I asked my Ins company and gave the detail of the receipt she told me that the pharmacist entered the wrong ID no.Very bad experience. read more

They need an option for 0 stars just for this CVS. This is absolutely the worst CVS pharmacy in the area -- and quite possibly any where I have ever been in. The line for this CVS is ridiculous - all the time, doesn't matter day or night or midday or morning -- I'm actually on hold with them right now, it's 9:03 in the morning and I've been on hold for 13 minutes and 52 seconds already. One time I called from home, got placed on hold and was able to drive to the store, stand on the LONG line AND get to the counter, all while still being on hold THE ENTIRE TIME (they still didn't have the medicine in stock I needed which is why I was calling in the first place). I was shocked. Another time, I went to put in my RX, came back a few hours later and was told it wouldn't be ready for a while and that they were actually backed up for 2-3 days with filling prescriptions. Are you kidding? Two to three days to FILL an IN STOCK prescription - what? How does that even happen? That should be illegal - honestly, that's got to be reportable. Needless to say I rarely use this CVS anymore -- it's worth it to travel to the Montgomery Village CVA one next to Big Lots -- honestly it's only 5 minutes more and that pharmacy is SOOOO much better, quicker and has everything in stock and its' 24 hours too. This CVS has the worst pharmacy in the area. They never have my prescription or even offer to order it to have it available at a later time. Pharmacists are rude and unfriendly. They make you feel like you're a burden to them just for trying to fill your prescription. Yes, the absolute worst CVS. Unclean, understaffed, lack of customer service and management. Each time I am in this store there are long lines in the pharmacy, photo and front check-out areas. Often there is one or two cashiers in the front and the manager looking out at the store chaos--its disorder and doing nothing. I moved to Gaithersburg upon my retirement and will be returning to the Rockville Congressional CVS--to a clean environment and professional kind staff. read more

All staff our wonderful, but the pharmacy is totally overwhelmed. Lines at the pharmacy are outrageously long, mistakes are being made and prescriptions are overflowing into baskets on the floors and every available counter top. It's like a sweatshop for pharmacists, who can't possibly work any faster. This is corporate greed at the expense of staff, while risking the public's health. What a shame! The only good thing I can say about this pharmacy is that most of the employees are friendly. But that's where the positives end. I have used this pharmacy for over a year (I come pretty regularly for prescription refills) and have literally never had an easy experience. Even when I refill my prescriptions through the app, they are never ready at the promised time (or even 48 hours later than the promised time). My experience today was more of the same. I received a notification yesterday that my order was ready. Upon getting to CVS, I was told it was not ready yet, and it would be about 10 minutes. While waiting for OVER 30 MINUTES, I listened to the register employee tell at least 8 of the next 10 customers the same thing she told me...which begs the question, what exactly are these pharmacists doing if not filling scripts? I see them standing there, they appear to be working, but it seems they are only working on orders for people who don't actually show up to retrieve them. The only reason I remained with the pharmacy this long was after posting a negative review previously, I received word from the management that things would be changing and offering a coupon to stay. At this point, unless you're offering me free prescriptions for life, it's not worth it. It's not worth having to plan an hour out of my day every time I need to pick up my medicine. read more

This is the worst CVS location to get your prescriptions filled. Don't even bother having your doctor send a prescription over to them because they won't get it. They always say their fax machine is broken. If you take the prescription in hand then you'll need to wait at least an hour if not, half a day. So if you are really sick and just dragged your achy body to this CVS hoping to pick up the antibiotic that the doctor sent over, you will have to deal with pharmacy staff that is either very rude and uncaring or the one that does not speak very good English and can't decipher what they are saying or what you are saying. Then you will need to call your doctors office and start yelling at them for not sending the prescription over only to find out they did and then the CVS emplyee tells you their fax machine isn't working.... wtf... This happened on several occasions so I decided to go 6 miles out of my way to Darnestown CVS. Wow, what a difference. read more
