I received my regular flu shot several weeks ago and immediately moved on to thinking about the upcoming H1N1 vaccine availability and options. My son is in town this weekend, and his Mom asked me to look into getting him his regular flu shot. For this seasonal round, it's probably getting late, but you would never know it with all the flu shot signs up front and at the pharmacy at this CVS. The store manager informed me that CVS stopped offering the flu vaccine a few weeks ago and their toll free number seemed to confirm that. On top of that, he and 1 of the pharmacy clerks gave me a "what's your problem?" look when I mentioned the concept of "truth in advertising" and the slow dithering wait in line that was required beforehand. So besides service with a snarl, we have a shiny new CVS store in a space formally known as Longs. There are times like these that I wish I had a neighbourhood pharmacy, where service was important and beauty wasn't skin deep. read more

What is the point of a doctor sending my Rx to the pharmacy if the pharmacy doesn't even fill it? They had my Rx for 8hrs. I arrive to wait in line to pick up my Rx and they tell me it has not been filled yet. What have you been doing all day? What's the point of my doctor sending it over? Does the customer have to call or come in for you to start working on it? Miserable location. I'd rather go to a competitor. read more

As far as CVS stores goes, I don't particularly like coming to this one anymore. I used to come here as a kid and liked how the store was set up. As an adult, the store seems extremely small; as if it was a CVS Express instead of a full store. I feel like the times and the Plaza have changed but this CVS never changed with the times. When I went in today, there were two registers open and each had about 6-7 people waiting. There's ample free parking. The top shelves in most of the aisles are short enough that I can look over the top to see what's in the aisle next to me. I don't understand how different items are grouped in this store but I suppose they try to do the best with the set-up they have. If I need to go to a CVS, I try to go to the one in Alameda in Marina Village. When you walk in there, they greet every customer. read more

I mean, it's a CVS pharmacy, so I have experienced challenges I find at all CVS pharmacies, or Walgreens--they are out of my prescription and they don't know when they will be restocked; the receipts are long enough to compete with Hollywood red carpets; the lines for prescription pickup can be rough during peak hours... I started a review for this place a few weeks ago ... with nothing really good to say. I wanted to complain about the prices and about how while most places are doing AWAY with the club card ... CVS is filling landholes with all the plastic they are trying to hand out. But to be fair ... today I went in to pick up some burn cream for my hand. I went to the pharmacy to be directed down the right aisle. And with sympathy rarely found in strangers, the gentleman (though he didn't look over 25) immediately called over the pharmacist for a consult. She gave me some advice and explained that with the number of nerve endings in my hand, it hurts a LOT ... even though now, it just looks swollen like I slapped 12 too many juicy asses. The prices at CVS are hard to swallow when there's a Target and a Costco so close by ... but today, I appreciated the help and the sympathy. Without full use of my right hand, I've already managed to stab myself in the mouth with my toothbrush, get stuck taking off a shirt, had to have someone hold my eye open so I could remove a contact and putting on a bra is impossible. read more

I've been to this CVS three times and they seem to carry good stock on those last minute things I end up forgetting when I grocery shop. I usually get pain killers, sports drinks and the occasional over the counter medicines for the common cold. This particular CVS seems to be bigger than other CVS stores I've been to and their usually well stocked. The only bummer about today's visit was that they were all out of 99. cents greeting cards. I ended up browsing the card section for a long 5 minutes to see if I could spot any cheap cards, but no such luck. I came in with my friend who needed some make up and fortunately she was able to get what she needed, but this time I left empty handed. Maybe I'll have better luck next time. read more

This CVS is alright. They have the usual CVS products but the building is kinda of old. The cleanliness of this place is not so great. I saw dirty floors and spots on the carpet on every aisle which is disgusting. Overall this whole store is pretty quiet from what I can remember and the staff are friendly. Other than that, this CVS has everything neatly stocked on every aisle and has everything that you need which matters at the end of the day am I right? I went back three weeks ago a day after I bought something expensive of course I bought two because it was buy one get one 50% off. and they said no returns they said come back later. I just came back today and now they say they're not taking anything before May 9th. By the way I first went to the CVS on Solano but they don't take products from the CVS in El Cerrito Plaza. I thought this was one company. I've seen nice people work there but it's always understaffed at both stores. I'm done with CVS. I will go to target because I trust they take things back! read more

Reviews below are accurate. One pharmacist and once tech. Don't bother using the CvS app- they won't fill it, and they won't answer the phone to tell you what is going on. Twice I have contacted CVS customer service to complain and they do nothing. At one point I had to call my insurance company and hand the phone over to the pharmacist because she wouldn't answer the phone to address an insurance issue. I am out! After a frustrating morning of fighting traffic and not getting what I needed in the city, I stopped by CVS in EC Plaza for some travel items. Though I've been there many times in the past I have never spoken to anyone other than the sales clerks. I was a little overwhelmed by all the products in the cosmetics area when Fernando offered his help, which I was happy to receive. I was a little skeptical that a man would know his way around the cosmetics area, but he's friendly and he knows his store and the products in it. Fernando showed me the places to look, and let me get to it. It was such a refreshing, pleasant experience, and completely unexpected at my local CVS. Pharmacy is disorganized and not well responsive to patient concerns and questions. You're constantly being rushed at the counter and their pharmacy technicians have little interest to resolve your problem, except to finish their job and say, "next." This is quite possibly the worst customer service pharmacy I have ever been to. I'm considering taking my business elsewhere unless they improve on their staffing. On the plus side, CVS Pharmacy is conveniently located in the El Cerrito Plaza Shopping Center. It's one-stop shopping at its best. Parking is free in a huge lot. But the down side is that the parking lot is a total madhouse on the weekends, and that problem is exacerbated by the weekly farmer's market. I went in for something on sale in the frozen foods section. When I got to the back corner of the store, I saw that all the shelves were empty and there was a sign saying the freezer was out of order. Great... The only reason this isn't a 1-star review was the woman who was working at the pharmacy that day. I can't remember her name, but I think it started with a P. She was wonderful: apologized for the wait, greeted us warmly, was prompt, friendly, and helpful, and we were never made to feel that she was shuffling us through to get to the next customer. read more

I wish I had option of no star. Poorly managed place. Nobody responds to any calls. Very mean ladies working in the pharmacy. We went there for my sons second dose hepatitis B vaccination. The first pharmacist that gave first vaccine dose told us come back May 9 for second dose and told we don't need appointment. We came May 9, the pharmacist looked at computer and said is too early and come back on May 12. Today which is May 12 and 12:40 we got there. The ladies behind glass in pharmacy area were just glancing at us remotely and hiding their head. 4 pharmacist lady were there working neither wanted to come to us for vaccine. After 20 minutes lady front said is lunch time and why you guys came lunch time. I asked what time lunch starts and she said at 1 pm. We said we came 12:40 and waited 20 minutes then she goes back and talks to one of them that looked Indian medium tall with long black hair, she again looked at us remotely and front lady came and said pharmacist is on the phone and as soon as she finishes she comes to you, she didn't seem to be on the phone and just on and off continued looking at us and she made us to wait additional 20 minutes and came and said is our lunch time and you should wait until 3. We left. Very poorly managed pharmacy, if the pharmacy had good manager these girls wouldn't be acting so mean and racistic attitude . So here's the story as I see it. This store sits smack dab in the middle of an affluent area. Within a stone's throw, lies Albany with its sweet little houses and awesome school district. El Cerrito properties in this area are well maintained and usually single family homes. Kensington folks roll down the hill, park their cars and shop-they-drop at Trader Joe's which is just around the corner. Berkeley people find good parking, and an easy (flat) bicycle trip from their bungalows near Gilman. So...there is absolutely no excuse for this store to be poorly stocked. There is no reason why management should even consider dumping problem employees at this location. There is no reason why "specials" shouldn't be clearly labeled and honored at the checkstand. There is no reason why lines should be long, Nor should checkers be unable to locate pricetags. Nor should there be an aura of... Let's call it what it is. Incompetence. This is, after all, a money-making operation, a few blocks from the rolling fiesta that is Solano Avenue. I went to the CVS today for Hallowe'en candy. Couldn't think of anywhere else that would have the stuff. Spent considerable time in line, watching, waiting, and thinking about this store. One checker was available for the whole store and she had to leave the line to help find a request from a fellow. He ( the customer) finally left as he was late to his dialysis appointment. Leaving the checker free to process the very long line of customers who were buying...yep, Hallowe'en candy. Got the candy half an hour later. Took it home. Noticed that none of the "specials" had been accounted for and that I had been overcharged. Am I going back? Well...maybe next year. Hallowe'en candy remains important in my neighborhood. My previous review was for Long's. This update is for CVS. I liked Long's a lot. I don't like CVS particularly, but I spend very little time in drugstores, so I'm not here much. I don't get my prescriptions filled here because I have Kaiser, so for me it's a place to buy the occasional thing not available at the Kensington Pharmacy or Costco. In this case, my dentist recommended a night guard. She's been recommending it for years and I've been resisting it for as long, but looking at the condition of some of my back teeth yesterday at my dental appointment made me more willing to consider it. Dr. Seet recommended buying one at a drugstore to try it out before committing to a professionally made one, so that's what I did. They had several types and I chose one. I'm returning to see her Thursday for another appointment and I'll show it to her. The checker was very friendly and patient when I had trouble reading the unfamiliar credit card machine. He commented on how nice it would be if they were standardized so you knew what was expected whenever you encountered one and I agreed. It was a pleasant and sympathetic exchange. The store was clean and practically deserted on a Tuesday morning. There's something off-putting about the physical setup, starting w/ the carpeted floors, that keeps me from warming up to CVS generally, but this store is close and I may come back when I need something they stock. read more

I go here because it is 7 blocks from my house & also because CVS is owned by my Medicare prescription plan. It is important to have a pharmacy near to your home...especially in an emergency. This is a former Longs. That is to say it once was a good pharmacy. Now the retail shelves are only half (mostly less) full. Longs had shelves full. The pharmacy shelves also are empty. 3 times this year I have gone in for a prescription & they were out or low on the medication. I have no idea why but it takes a LONG TIME for them to fill prescriptions. The line is always a 20-30 minute wait to be served. Then even though I have been texted that the prescription is ready...it is not. Often. If it is ready for pick up & once I am at the front of the line & being helped, it still takes 10-15 minutes to pay & leave. Once the count of my prescription pills was short. CVS also is stingy regarding the number of employees to serve me. Employees complain that they are understaffed while we in line complain that we are tired of waiting. They waste a lot of paper on coupons trying to entice me to purchase make-up (ugh) toothpaste, mouthwash, candy, etc. I have no intention of improving their business & buying anything but medicine there. Oh, to get these discount you must have another card in your wallet. Personally I am fed p with these cards. I have a bulging wallet just for these vanity cards. Ace, CVS, Frys, Albertsons, Luckys, Safeway/Vons, Staples, Office Depot,...on & on. I pay too much if I do not carry their card. I have had several interactions with the short man who is the manager. He seems to be a decent man. I think that the problem is not the manager but corporate management. Other employees also seem to be okay. I also do not think that they are the problem. read more

If you are in this neighborhood needing to get passport photos for a newborn, you only have two choices: CVS in the Plaza or Costco down the street. UPS does not do them. I called prior to walking in and was told yes, they can do photos for infants. When I got to the Photo department, Marco told me to hold on he wanted to consult with his manager for help. Well Dickhead, uh, I meant manager loudly says, "I won't do pictures for newborns, you need to get the pictures head on and it's much too difficult," then he walked off. My inner bitch was ready to pounce but I never got the chance,. Marco turned around and said, "It might be difficult but let's do this!" Marco was super patient and took several pictures. While he was printing out his first set, Dickhead told him that that picture wouldn't work. As I glared at Dickhead, Marco began to set up for his second photoshoot with the newborn. Long story short, the gal at the passport office chose the first set of pictures... you remember, the ones that Dickhead nixed. Five stars to Marco, no stars for Dickhead, and two stars for CVS. Continuing what happened with my previous review of this CVS: So I called my doctor's office, let them know that neither CVS Pharmacies in this area had record of my prescription being "put online". Doctor's office supposedly checked on this, and I went back to this CVS to try to pick up my prescription for a 3rd time. Again there was no tape on the floor or sign to indicate where the line for the pharmacy is. This elderly lady and I arrived at about the same time, and the pharmacist asks "who got here 1st?". Annoying. I said, "I don't know" and even though I'm 7 months pregnant and had to pee I motioned for the elderly lady to go first. The old lady didn't even say thank you! What's with old people thinking they are entitled? Ugh. Anyway, so when I get to see the pharmacist after the old lady, again they don't have record of my prescription or even me in their system and they can't help me. Soooooooo irritating. I called my doctor's office again and asked them to please transfer my prescription to the Costco pharmacy even though their hours are even more limited than CVS. The doctor's office asked me if I mentioned to CVS that the prescription was "put online" and I let them know that yes, I told them on two separate occasions. The doctor's office receptionist said some of the pharmacists don't know how to use the system and it's kind of pointless to have the online system if they're not going to use it. Um, yeah, I agree, but I've had it with CVS and am not going to be the person to make sure they know how to use the online system. I asked to please just transfer my prescription because I'm not going to CVS anymore (I know I said that before but this time I mean it!). Incidentally, Costco pharmacy in Richmond was awesome. They said they heard from a reliable source that CVS pharmacy is organized strangely, and that other customers have complained about them. read more

Is is possible that the staff, now that they're CVS, are even more bovine than before? It would seem so. So they've finished their big remodel. Now it looks like a Walmart inside. I guess they're very proud. So why don't they move all those trailers out of the parking lot? It's the height of farmers market season and fighting for spaces has gotten fierce. There's usually plenty because it's a huge lot, but the darn trailers are taking up a third of the lot. There was yet another parking lot accident yesterday (I actually saw a police officer hugging the victim!) because of the space shortage. When I asked the manager about the trailers (a month ago!), he said removing them was a corporate decision. Way to show you care about the community, CVS. read more

Why all the hate? I have never used their pharmacy (I'm at Kaiser) and haven't used their photo services for years (since I've switched to digital) so that may account for my positive experiences. I am a HIUGE fan of the earrings at this Long's and all the Long's locations. I always get compliments on my $10 earrings! The clerks here are always helpful and friendly, especially Jeanne. She goes out of her way to be helpful. I'm often not even aware of coupon deals and she always informs me of the sales and cuts out coupons for me! Plus one time I went in there and she said she had something that belonged to me. So she pulls out a copy of my income tax form that I had left on their photocopier (that I hadn't even realized i had left there)---what a gem! I have been going to this Longs throughout it's present and past lives. For some reason I am less enamored of it's current "persona" but I am still stuck in the 1980's..... Worse part of going to this Long;s is the parking lot---lots of psycho drivers who feel that the speed limit in the EC Plaza is 50 mph and that the STOP signs do not apply to them. read more

The WORST pharmacy I have ever been to. I am 68 years old and retired. I am also a Type I diabetic. I have to inject insulin 4 times per day. Recently, I started wearing a continuous glucose monitor. My doctor, Dr. Robert Rushakoff, is Medical Director of the Diabetes Center at UC Medical Center in San Francisco. He prescribed it. I recently had some continuous glucose monitors shipped to me from Abbot, who manufactures them. Unfortunately, 2 of the sensors were defective. I sent them back to Abbot and the sent me two separate letters. Each letter said to simply take the letter to CVS and they would replace the defective sensors at no charge. I had already paid for the defective ones. I brought the letters to the CVS pharmacy at El Cerrito Plaza. I did this on Friday, September 14. When I didn't hear anything from them, I went to the pharmacy 5 days later. I went to the counter. A woman named Jennifer was standing at the counter, directly in front of me. I later learned that she is the Pharmacy Manager. Jennifer refused to make eye contact or even acknowledge my existence as a human being. I stood there for quite a while without even a word from her. I finally said that she isn't even acknowledging my existence. I told her that I had left the letters at the pharmacy 5 days earlier. She said nothing had been done. I couldn't believe it. I have a serious, life threatening disease. She couldn't figure out how to process the letters to give me replacement sensors, even though they were free. I stood at the counter for 25 MINUTES while waiting for something that was free to me. She finally said that she could process one of the letters but that I would have to pay $49.95 for the second one. Again, I had already paid for defective sensors. I was being told I had to pay twice for one of them. I refused. I told her that I was an attorney for over 40 years. Her face turned white. She assumed that I was old and stupid and tried to con me into paying for an item twice. Now, all of a sudden, she miraculously was able to process the order. Why did nothing happen for 5 DAYS? I have serious illness and am approaching 70 years old. This is despicable. She is a callous, rude, and pitiful excuse for a human being. She literally ignored me for quite a while, tried to make me pay for an item I had already bought, and made absolutely no apology for not filling the prescription. The letter sat in the pharmacy for 5 days. This is a terrible way to treat anyone, much less a senior citizen with a serious illness. She only acted after I told her I was a lawyer. DO NOT GO HERE! If can be treated like garbage so can you. I am going to notify the corporate office of her callousness and incompetence. read more

The pharmacy department for this CVS deserves negative stars. Cutting to the chase: - I would like to actually speak with someone on the phone before: 1. I die at 105 2. My telephone company cuts my service for how many ridiculous minutes I have spent on hold with this department 3. I die a premature stress-induced death (caused by the looming uncertainty of whether or not my call will be answered before the next eon) 4. The zombie apocalypse actually happens and I am unwillingly either turned into a mindless flesh-eater or dinner or both (Although I feel the probability of number 4 strongly outweighs the probability of my call being answered) - I would really appreciate it if the pharmacy department would: 1. Stop forgetting to fill my refills 2. Stop lying to me about faxing my doctor authorization requests when they actually did not 3. Stop blaming my doctor's office for every mistake 4. Stop placing me on hold for a second time 5. Resurrect a larger than life-sized gold statue of the one and only kind soul behind these gates of hell (if, by some unfortunate circumstance(s), you've been here, you will know who I am talking about.) TLDR; AVOID THIS PHARMACY AT ALL POSSIBLE COSTS IF YOU VALUE YOUR HAPPINESS AND OVERALL EMOTIONAL WELL-BEING (oh the irony). read more

Do not even enter this hellhole! Seriously, make the drive out to the CVS in North Oakland. That place is the heaven of drug stores! It's HUGE. It's got everything and more of it. Plus, the manager in the El Cerrito Plaza store is a total jackass: he'll either treat you like a mentally handicapped geriatric or he'll be down-right rude to you. I went in there to buy some foundation the other day and what I thought was going to be a simple transaction turned out to be an (almost) embarrassing nuisance: I went in line to pay and I noticed that the bottle I picked out had a "Save $4 Now" coupon attached to it. I took it off the bottle and got ready to set it down on the conveyor belt when the dick manager opened another register and called me over. I went over, set the bottle down and gave him the coupon. All the while he was walking me through every step as if I was mentally retarded "You got your CVS card, ok, thaaank yooou, theeeere you go." (And not in a funny way, a sarcastic way). Then he looked at the coupon for half a second and in his annoyingly loud voice said "What is this??" Its a coupon, I told him. He fiddled around with it, scanning it, typing in whatever and told me the total. Finally, I'm done with this place. read more

They are so slow to prepare your prescription that you have time to go do your groceries to busy trader joe's and come back to wait some more. CVS just like Wallgreens is a scam, they are purposely slow to make you wait and buy crap from their stores. And they only sell products no one needs. Negative 5 stars. Complete waste of time with 5 star stress. 2 hours in the pharmacy line with no results. Once in the morning. Once in the afternoon. I was trying to pick up a prescription for my husband, something I have done for years. I had his card. I was told he now suddenly needed a separate card and that he needed to come in. I called United in between visits, where my husband has a caseworker because he is now extremely ill and had to switch to COBRA last month. I know the caseworker, and had made a contact at the COBRA administrator. All his data had remained the same. Same card, group number etc. So I dragged my husband in among the sneezing and hacking. They ignored him (so why did you say I had to bring him in? The flu is life threatening for him now!). I was moved into 3 different lines and finally just said I would pay the cost of the drug. "You cam't do that". "It is not covered". But I had the prescription on paper and I had cash and this is still America. Suddenly it cost more but I was so mad I just paid it and left. I have worked in benefits admin for health care over 30 years. I am college educated and culturally unafraid of conflict. English is my first language. I have HUGE advantages and still, could get no where. The stress of changing answers, no clear reasoning or directions, and sheer stupidity makes this experience not worth it. Logan said it. Don't even THINK about getting your Rx filled here. In 2 years, they have not gotten my Rx right. I used to think they can't get it right, but now I know they just won't. Last time, an employee (Erica, I think) told me to come back in an hour to get my Rx that was supposed to be on auto refill. When I did and it still wasn't ready, she went on her break. I waited. I assumed someone else was working on it. She came back 15 minutes later, and when I asked her about it, she laughed. Then she went home. The other workers didn't even know why I was there until I finally pitched a fit and someone else started to work on my Rx. Today I called Lucky and asked if I could transfer my Rx to them. They said, 'No problem. I'll call CVS and get all your current info and call you when it's ready." WHAT? It's just that easy? I thought this was harder than rocket science? This Long's is undergoing a facelift, and is almost completely overhauled. It looks nice inside, or nice for a Long's, you know, whatever, and they have what you're looking for. They have a fabulous collection of stuff. The problem with this Long's is that it evidently exists in some kind of time/space vortex that sucks in enormous amounts of senior citizens who spend a minimum of fifteen minutes each at the register groping about for/ parceling out/ painstakingly examining/ arguing with the cashier about mountains of coupons. I have no issue with people who use coupons but Jesus Tapdancing Christ have your coupon shit together BEFORE you get to the register. Got DAYUM. And El Cerrito Plaza Long's, if you're listening, I'm going to use the compliment sandwich for you: I LOVE that you stock Big Cherry candy bars. They're my husband's favorite and difficult to find, so bless your heart. SCHEDULE MORE THAN ONE CASHIER PER SHIFT YOU PACK OF MORONIC DOUCHE CAPTAINS. Your convenient parking makes me smile! I recommend this Long's if you are either willing to tazer a few seniors and/or spend longer than is necessary by any wild stretch of the imagination waiting in line. If not, you just might want to consider heading over to the Albertson's across the way if you have a reasonable expectation that they have whatcha need. I really didn't really think about reviewing the pharmacy at which I pick up my meds but after today's experience, I said to myself--this deserves to be Yelped about! Today, I called to order a prescription refill (a monthly Rx) and while ordering the refill, the pharmacy clerk asked if I'd like to "ready fill" this particular prescription meaning it would auto-renew and be ready for pick up on the same date every month. I was definitely amazed at this new technology! You're telling me that I don't need to pick up the phone and call you guys and be put on hold for 10 minutes because my silly booty lost the Rx number and order my prescription anymore! This was music to my ears! I immediately thanked her and told her, Yes! Now, my monthly prescription will magically be refilled every month and be ready for pick-up on the same day each month. I think this is very customer friendly. My only complaint about this CVS is their long lines. They don't seem to be well staffed at their main registers so there's always a long line. I used to work for Long's and to achieve superior customer service, you should have no more than 3 customers in your line. If you're over the 3 limit then you have serious issues because you'll have unhappy customers. In this day and age, people want to get in and out with their goods. Please pay attention to the long lines and send extra clerks to the empty registers during busy times. read more

I give up on CVS. Every time I go there, I remind myself not to go there. This location is at least clean, bright, and the shelves are well stocked. But, I hate rewards programs, especially ones that are as complicated as CVS'! Just put things on sale okay? But this review is really more about the: Cosmetics department. Like I said, well stocked and well presented, but recently they installed a new loss prevention system that has motion sensor ALARMS on every aisle that go off CONSTANTLY. They sound like cheap electronic doorbells and they are super loud and annoying. It is seriously so bad that I will not go back. They screwed up my Mom's Diabetes and Gout medicine... TWICE!!! FIRST: The careless workers in the pharmacy gave my mom someone else's insulin prescription which had directions to inject 3x my mom's normal dosage. Had we not been careful and reviewed this, my mom coulda ended far worse than she'd in now. I called the Corporate customer service line as this had been the BIG boo-boo in a long line of idiotic mistakes from this pharmacy (when we complain to the pharmacy staff, we're lucky if we even get a half-hearted apology... it's usually a shrug, most times) and they assured me they would handle it the first time and that someone would get back to me. Never heard back from anyone. SECOND INCIDENT: They told my mom her regular Gout meds were discontinued/out of stock and there's no word on when they'll restock. They offered her the non-generic which was 4x more co-pay. She took it. It wasn't until the ER doctor examined her that we were told that there is no brand name/generic for my mom's gout meds and that they def weren't discontinued or in high demand. When they were Longs, they were better even if it was a long wait. There are some very nice people who work here, but no one seems to grasp that these are lives they are being so haphazard with. Any pharmacy w/ that kind of disregard deserves to be burned to the ground (vacant of any people of course). read more

Worst customer service! I asked this Mexican worker a question and he said immediately said "no" and walked away. He didn't even understand, nor tried to understand, because I wasn't even done talking yet. It seemed like he just didn't want to help so he just ignored me. He didn't bother asking his manager or anyone else. I tried to finish talking and explain but he just turned his back on me and pretended I didn't exist... WHAT IS THIS?? How did this person even get hired?? I'm never coming back here again. If this place hires people like this, it really shows that they have no standards, qualifications, nor training. If you want to feel like an invisible ghost, come here and ask the workers here for help. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. read more

Up until a couple of months ago, the pharmacy here was at least livable. Techs/pharmacists had been there for years, it was slow and disorganized sometimes, but you could get things done if you tried. Something happened around... April 2016 or so. Management changed, then so did all of the techs, and things have slid downhill quickly and badly. I've gotten prescriptions that were straight up wrong, had order requests missed for important medication (with no calls to let me know they'd missed the order), etc. This has gone from bad to dangerous. On top of that, they're now understaffing the pharmacy, meaning you'll regularly see lines 5-8 customers deep waiting for one cashier. Avoid this place at all costs. read more

This pharmacy is absolutely not in the business of helping the consumer. I had a doctor call in a prescription from the office. Unfortunately she used the words "as needed" to indicate i could take multiple doses of a cough medicine during the night. The pharmacy did not understand the meaning of this, so they assumed once a day instead of questioning. Then when my doctor called in a refill 6 days later, the pharmacy decided to just hold the refill, not ask questions of myself or the doctor. When I finally called - unfortunately for me when i needed the refill - the office was condescending and righteous. Really, they just hand out prescriptions... no customer service...no level of quality.... we can all do better. read more

Your typical Long's with typical Long's stuff. It seems perpetually understaffed, though, especially in the photo department. There is usually nobody behind the counter there, so I've had to ask for help nearly every time. The pharmacy department can get very busy, especially towards the early evening, so plan accordingly. read more
