This is the first time trying to get medication through CVS Cibolo.Trying to actually get someone on the phone was absolutely horrible.... after a few tries, I never did get anyone. I normally get medication's through HEB or Walgreens, I have never had issues with them. I do not recommend CVS pharmacy to anyone.... I am really surprised they're still in business. read more

Prescriptions are never ready on time and often they do not have the medication in stock. Customer service is poor and staff is rude. Pharmacist K. Johnson was unprofessional and rude today and so it was the last straw! I used this pharmacy for more than a year, enduring and overlooking the never-ready-on-time scripts and poor customer service. The pharmacy is THE WORST!!! Rxs are NEVER done when they say they will be done. I should know better than to use them but they are close to home. Today I pulled into the drive-thru line at 1:04, waited for 26 minutes while they waited on 2, yes, TWO customers only to get to the window and be told that I would have to come back because they close from 1:30-2:00 for lunch. I love this CVS. I come in and the person behind the counter always greets me with a smile. The employees are always happy (my opinion). I have transferred my RXs to this location because it is closer to home. The pharmacy staff has always been courteous and willing to help. The store is well maintain. It is new but some store are new but not maintained. I like visiting this location and the one on Patbooker Rd. I do shop at cvs for sale items. Terrible service. Prescriptions are never ready when told they would be. Tried calling ahead and yet still issues when I get there to pick up. They don't call you if they have trouble filling a prescription they just wait for you to show up and then maybe do something about it. Takes them 2-4 hrs to fill a prescription at best and then they still get it wrong! read more

I can say that this is my little neighborhood CVS! A new one at that and the staff at both areas in the pharmacy and store are friendly! Great place to shop. Not a great place to have your covid testing done for travel purposes. Did my test at 10am Friday. Results are supposed to be available in 1-2 days. It's the third day I still have not received my results. Had to cancel plans. My coworkers had to get tested as well and went the same day as me but to other locations in the San Antonio area. Their test were in the afternoon and everyone had their results in two days. read more

They never have enough people working. Today I was told the prescription for my husband whom Just had surgery would be done in 30mins. I told them I'd pick it up in an hour. I came back almost 2 hrs later and it's still not done! She said it would be another 20-30 mins. I switched from Walgreens to CVS in Jan. I don't feel that was a good choice now. This new CVS popped up and I was very happy for how close it is to my house. It's very clean and smells like that fresh CVS smell we've all come to expect and love right? Alright so the pharmacy staff was sub par at best when it comes to overall conversation being held. They are very bland and don't speak well. An example conversation would go as follows: Me- "Hello! How are you today? I'm so mad its December and it's not even cold ammiright??" Pharmacy guy- "Yes" It's gripping. Being the social butterfly I am, it rubbed me the wrong way, but I got my prescription pretty speedy, so I guess what they severely lack in personal skills, they make up with service which I guess I'm okay with. Just don't go expecting to be swept off your feet with unimportant small talk about babies or the weather. Now for the actual part of this review. The bright and shining star of this review and might even be the shining star of the whole town of Cibolo is an employee there named Kevin. The last two times I have entered that store, a young guy named Kevin has talked to me and this man is everything an employee should be. He speaks elegantly and soft, and holds the appropriate amount of non-creepy eye contact. As a young guy, I do not get the service I have come to expect going into many businesses as apparently my age defines my ability to maintain adequate service my older peers experience. Kevin did not talk down to me, he asked me about my day, he genuinely cared about what I said. I literally left there wondering how cool it would be to kick back and hang with Kevin because the man just treats people well! I went through all of this trouble to make this review for the sole fact I feel Kevin deserves some recognition for outstanding service. I give this CVS 4 out of 5 stars almost all because of Kevin, and the missing star goes on out to the blatant inability to carry on a conversation from the pharmacy staff.
