This is the WORST CVS I have ever walked into, and that's a low bar considering the overall low quality of CVS in general. I don't know where CVS finds their pharmacists, they are rude and condescending, they will literally hang up on you rather than try to help. Go to ANY other pharmacy. read more

One of the worst pharmacies I've ever had to deal with. When I dropped off my prescription I was assured they had the medication in stock. Received a call 5 minutes later saying it had to be special ordered. Since I was going to be traveling I asked them to hold the script until I could have it transferred. Called back two days later and was on hold for 15 minutes. When I finally reached the pharmacy a lady answered the phone with "oh shit". She proceeded to tell me they couldn't transfer the prescription or find the script. After another 10 minutes on hold, they were finally able to locate the order and I was told "you were supposed to call earlier" and "that's not what you told the pharmacist". I was very blunt in letting the woman know I would never be using their pharmacy again and was very disappointed in the service. read more

I went through the Drive-Thru today, the pharmacist did not want to grab over the counter medications for me. He was very rude even after I showed him a photo that states "to pick this medication up in the drive thru pharmacy" which would have made me experience 5 star had he done it for me. I deicided to take myself all the way to Walgreens where they gave me the medication with no long story of why they can't...Unsure why the men in the pharmacy were so rude at CVS they also called me Ma'am when I clearly identify as male... This has me at a complete loss of words for how I was treated especially because they are supposed to be educated about things like that...They made me feel embarrassed and like my medication did not matter to them.. read more

No complaints. Good place to drop off or call in scrips - very quick, and they even have a drive through. Like most of the CVS locations, they also have a mini convenience store within. You can find anything from beer, bait or ammo in this place. If you ask me, they got it all! Sorry folks, just got diverted by a Kevin Fowler song for a second. My bad. So here's the real deal: they really do have a mini grocery store section that carries everything from peanut butter to bread, to beer/wine, to dog food and cat food! Be prepared to spend your entire day for your prescription. They're rude and move like pond water.

They don't offer the vaccine, even though their website says they do. I wasted time and money getting over there while my car was in the shop, so I had to pay for an Uber. That's why I call ahead of time but horrible businesses don't care about things like that. read more

I now dread picking up my prescriptions here, especially in the afternoons/evenings, to the point of anxiety. The pharmacist and main pharmacy tech (I'm assuming is who she is) just have a way of making you feel like you're an inconvenience, a bother, I mean the huffing and puffing when they're talking to you and making you feel so rushed as if you're wasting their time. They're always so rude, condescending and NEVER look at you when they talk to you. And when you call them, its even worst. They really couldn't care less about their customers and have ZERO friendly customer service. The pharmacist is just cold, rude, condescending and not friendly. The pharmacy tech is extremely unprofessional, talks to people rudely and really needs to keep her personal conversations to herself and not make people feel uncomfortable by having to hear her very personal conversations she's having with the other pharmacy workers while I'm with my kids, while handling our medications, at least keep it professional until customers aren't around. That, on top of just being rude and mean when talking to your customers has made me hate going every time. They've had about 2 different young workers at the pharmacy register who have been pretty friendly and helpful, but you can tell that the pharmacist and veteran pharmacy tech there run the show and run them. The convenience of it being very close to our house is the ONLY reason I added the 2nd star and the only reason I ever come here for last minute things and to get my prescriptions. The store workers (non-pharmacy) are ok, they're just there so I can't complain about them. BUT I do have to point out a store worker that I hadn't seen before that was SO nice and friendly, it was SO refreshing to have someone so nice, warm and friendly greet you and help you check out and pay. I had to make sure I saw what his name tag said and it read "Dany". He was vacuuming and just very proactively taking care of the store. He asked if there was anything we needed, and his genuinely friendly attitude and smile was a VERY nice thing to see in that store. Thank you Dany! I've been hesitant for about a year now about writing a review about this store, but this week really just finally made me say something. Every CVS I've been to in all of the San Antonio/Bulverde/Spring Branch area, their store workers, managers and pharmacy workers/pharmacist are always so friendly, warm, and nice. They make you feel nice when you're there, but this store, NEVER. Such a bummer for this one to be my "neighborhood store", but I will now transfer all of my medications to another CVS, even if it means having the inconvenience of driving to a further location. read more

I prefer the evening workers a lot better. They are nice and funny. Great customer service with a smile. The pharmacy staff are wonderful the few times I've visited here. Store is clean and kept up with by the staff. I have never used the photo counter. So I couldn't fully rate it. This store does have a food selection of products on hand. My husband always stop by the "as seen on tv" section of amazing inventions. Management is courteous and welcoming. I always visit this place weekly to get my cvs deals! read more

Saw all the negative reviews, figured it couldn't be THAT bad to get my simple monthly prescription filled. Of course I was wrong. The first one was filled correctly, but the second time they gave me the wrong medication. I went back to have it corrected, which took over half an hour for something they simply had to pluck off the shelf (with no other customers waiting, no one at the window, no one on the phone, and MULTIPLE pharmacy workers present). Told me something in their system was labeled incorrectly and they had fixed it so I would get the right medication next time. Guess what happened this month? I got the wrong medication again! Will never be returning. I've been having CVS fill my prescriptions for years but not anymore. This location seriously needs to clean up its act. read more

Alway receive great customer service, but need to update Pharmacy hours. Hours are 8AM - 9PM Monday -Friday, Saturday 9-6, Sunday 10-6

I always get excellent service at the pharmacy drive up window. I must commend Keith with the bright colored shirts for his warm and caring personality. He answers my questions completely and is always so professional. I always drive away with a smile after a "Keith Encounter". This pharmacy has no idea what's going on. My wife spent 10 days trying to get a normal refill, filled. This staff faxed the wrong office, blamed computer errors, blamed the doctors office, blamed the moon sun and stars. My wife had to have her doctor call the pharmacy and speak with the staff directly and they still screwed it up and delayed it another day. Lately there's been a change in employees at the pharmacy area. One guy there keeps telling me my meds will be ready and I call before going to get them and each time there's something wrong (won't be ready until tomorrow, then 2 more days, then they won't have it available until another 4 days, another CVS might have it etc) but he supposedly checks while I'm on the phone with him. I know it's him bc he has a very recognizable voice. Well, today, for the 4th time this month he said they'd have my medicine ready within 1 and a half hours and I go in 2 hours. He tells me one med isn't in stock when he told me earlier it was and I only had to wait on another one. Well the one I was supposedly waiting for was in stock to pick up and the other he said he would call tomorrow to check if another store has it. Hubby pulled over to park, called the other CVS himself and the pharmacist woman there said one moment she would check and she pulled the prescription right away and had it sent to her location. Only it was going to be closing time and we'd never make it on time. It's nice to know she went out of her way though instead of the guy at Pat Booker location blowing it off and refusing to call and not informing me that the medicine was out of stock to begin with. That was 15 min I could've taken to the other location! The staff at Pat Booker really needs to be more attentive and keep patients informed, especially with several ways they have to notify us if something changes. (Email, text, phone call) and no, it's not my fault I went 30 min before closing, bc HE TOLD ME 8PM AND I WENT AT 830. And he told me they were in stock. read more

I get my medication for 90 days. My cardiologist lowered my blood pressure dosage and it took 3 trips to get it corrected. First they only had 30 days, so they told me they would have to work with the doctor and my insurance. When I went back they had 90 days on the printout but I only got half because they didn't fill it for 2 pills a day, finally on the third trip they got it right. Later in another prescription I found a high dose generic xanax. It was a bright blue rectangular pill mixed in with my small round white pills. I have auto refill on my prescriptions and i'm am no longer taking one of them. I called Sunday (6/2/19) to tell them not to fill it. When I picked up my prescriptions on 6/4/19, they included it. Luckily I caught it and refused it. The clerk said he would take care of it and told me another prescription would be ready today. My husband goes to pick it up and they sell him the medicine I no longer take. Unfortunately, you can't return medicine so I'm stuck with medicine I no longer need. The CVS I previously used was awesome unfortunately it was by my work and I have retired. Will be looking for another CVS. read more

I have new insurance and went through the full service drive through line. I was told to leave my card and come back in 10minutes. I waited 12 minutes and went back through. I was told I had to go around again as they now had to recount my prescription. I had already waited the time allotted ( I was told if I came in, the wait would only be five minutes, but could not as I was ill, hence the medication, and have two small children) so we have already had plenty of time to get it right. I told them I was not going to pull around again as there was now a long line and to please hurry. I was told if did not move from the FULL SERVICE drive through Keith, the pharmacist, would call the police because I was 'inconveniencing the other custtomers' with not thought to my own inconvenience. This is not the first problem we have had with this pharmacy. It is ALWAYS a nightmare and I have now moved all of our prescriptions to another pharmacy. read more

My experience here as been great: the pharmacy technicians are always polite and courteous, and the customer service specialists have been equally as kind. Except one. I had to start shopping/transfer my prescriptions to another(farther)location because of her. When I go in, I'm usually with my partner, and when she sees us it all happens the same way. She will ignore us as long as possible, won't look at me OR speak to me when I'm at the counter(she won't even tell me the total she just stands there), and hisses "have a nice day" to us as we're already walking out the door and then laughs and sweetly welcomes the next customer in line. I don't know what has caused her to be so hateful:I believe its an issue of age(she must think because we are in our 20's we don't deserve respect) and our interracial relationship as this would be the ONLY explanation for her blatant cruelty directed solely at us. When speaking to managers on different occasions, I was told the issue would be handled and yet I run into the same issue every time I go in. I have also been told she has tenure with the company, which as a customer implicates that nothing will be done. But if she valued her job as much as the company seems to value her tenure-she wouldn't be driving away customers. I'm the first one to compliment and last one to complain, but someone needs to hear me and if it won't be the company I'll turn to its customers!
