You sometimes hear the term "hidden gems". In my humble opinion I believe I found a hidden gem in a small strip mall near Cibolo. I felt like some coffee after the meal I had. And to my surprise I find this place called "Brew K Cafe", the term hidden gem doesn't do it justice, this place in my opinion offers one of the best coffee I've had in a long time. They offer coffee, some meat items, bubble tea, lemonades among other items. Upon entering the establishment you see a good amount of seating for the size of the place, you are kindly greeted by the people behind the counter which usually are the proprietors of the restaurant. On this episode I got a "Dolce Iced Coffee", I kid you not it was one of my favorites. If you find yourself near Cibolo and you have a craving for something unique you have to give Brew K Cafe a try. The staff at the counter was helpful and informative. There are many different kinds of drinks and we got the Seoul Coffee and the Buttercream Latte. The Seoul is for those who like just a bit of sweetness in their drink. The Buttercream was one of the best drinks I've ever had in my life. It was smooth, creamy, decadent...I'm going back just for this. We tried the Kimchi Bowls but the bulgogi was sweet. We lived in Seoul and we're used to a spicy bulgogi. Also, this shop is smaller with limited seating. I think the high school across the street visits at lunch time, so it gets packed quickly. You might want to go earlier or later for lunch. read more

We did our book club meeting here. And let me tell you. Aside from the construction on 1103, this place was easy to get to. Wide variety of drinks and food. Our group ordered coffees and sadly I am not a super fan of the taste. But this blended drink was perfect. Sweet and sour. Blended just right. They raved about all the drinks they ordered. The store was decorated very quaint, coffee decor and Asian flair. They had local advertising for many things. And their table set up was easily adjusted for our group of 7. We could have added a lot more. And we didn't take over the entire seating area. The clerk was very helpful and informative. Describing what was on the menu with vivid descriptions and comparing it to classic American coffee bars. The store was super kind to let us hold our group there and allowing us to discuss in a boisterous manner. Very thankful for this place. read more

We stumbled on this place when we picked up a pizza next door. Omg, they have a great variety of tea, coffee and shakes. I have never tasted anything like that before. It's not your ordinary drink. This is a nice little place, service was friendly and kind and our drinks didn't take long either. We ordered the coconut latte and the matcha latte. The drinks weren't filled to the top as you can see in the pictures but the flavors were good. The matcha latte was not sure if they whisk the matcha or if it's a premade matcha latte powder where you mix it with a liquid. Friendly service. Came later in the day, hour before closing and some items were out, but didn't mind it at all, new place still trying to figure things out. About 5 to 6 tables for seating area, but doable for our little town. The drink that I got was really good and had some candies at the top of it, the Dalgona cafe latte. That was very different. This is my second time coming to this cafe. I'm from California and I looked forward to coming here again. Their shop is very clean and nice. There's a really sweet gentleman that greets you and takes your order. I believe it's him and his wife that own the shop. We had the iced dalgona cafe latte and the iced buttercream cafe latte. Both were very good. The dalgona latte had a strong coffee taste which is what my boyfriend likes. The buttercream latte was layered and I was advised to drink it as is so I get a sip of the coffee cream and the milk that comes together. It was a dense and creamy drink. We also tried their triangle gimbap which is like onigiri but they had flavors like beef bulgogi, tuna Mayo, and fried kimchi. We tried beef Bulgogi and fried kimchi. They were both SO good. Their packaging kept the seaweed crunchy. I could eat 3 more. I would love to come back again and again. read more

Fantastic customer service. In a pinch, I swung by by Brew K Cafe and ordered 30 of the Bulgogi Onigiri for my daughters birthday party. I was able to pick them up at 4 pm on the same day. THEY WERE A HIT. Our guests loved them & they were gone before the night was over. Thank you so much! I went to grab pizza for dinner and thought I'd grab a couple drinks for a Friday night while I was in the area (pizza place is 2 doors down). The menu on google was old so I did need to ask the man at the counter for recommendations based off what I had planned to order. I had a great recommendation for the peach iced tea. I asked for boba and the gentleman explained that they don't use tapioca boba (something about it not working well with the drinks) so they have 'jelly tapioca'. I really enjoyed this tapioca and it was very original and new to me. The drinks came out fast and the gentleman behind the counter even reminded me to grab the boba tea straw instead of a normal straw - which I appreciated because I had already grabbed the wrong straw! There were baked goods in two cabinets. I didn't grab any food for myself but I heard good things from other patrons on Facebook. The store was very clean and open, I will definitely be returning for some coffee in the earlier hours. read more

This is one of my favorite spots. I've tried their Seoul coffee, dalgona coffee, grapefruit ade, passionfruit ade and yogurt smoothies. All delicious. They even have some sweets including cakes, macarons, dalgona pieces, and cookies. They have recently started selling a fish shaped pastry that has sweet bean, sausage, or sausage and cheese, though I haven't had the opportunity to try it yet. Saw this place on my next-door app, and we always like supporting small businesses. The gentleman who served us was the owner, and as other reviews have stated, he is an Army veteran. He was very professional and friendly. Since it was our first time at Brew K, he explained the drinks and gave some recommendations. I have been wanting to try this Coffee shop for a while, so my wife and I tried this little shop. Met one of the owners today, Ray. He was very helpful and explained the type of coffees and how strong they were. I decided on the Korean Strawberry Coffee and my wife tried the Seoul Coffee. Both were very good and had great taste. He explained to me the types of coffees that Koreans would drink in Korea. I was very impressed and haven't been to Korea in almost 30 years but I could only imagine the coffee scene is like over there. Ray and I talked about Korea. I liked this place and there are other things that are Korea that they are slowly introducing to the shop. It's a nice little shop, close to downtown Cibolo and local to Schertz.
