Awful experience. We have a 6 year old that has been screaming about his painful ear infection all night into the morning. We had him seen first thing at an urgent care 8 am. The prescription was sent here. The prescription was not filled until 1 pm in the afternoon. When my husband expressed his concerns of the need for urgency based on the condition our child, he said the person working cut him off and could care less. They also said they would notify us when it was ready. They never did. He had to keep calling back for several hours to find out. Regardless of it being a holiday, when you care this little about your customers that you neglect to notify them of the medication being ready and do not prioritize those that are small children suffering, you don't deserve to work here. Very disappointed in the staff today! Never seen such poor behavior. This is completely unacceptable. I tried to get a hold of a manager at the location and the phone rang off the hook but nobody bothered to pick up. This store needs son's retraining about efficiency and empathy! The young girl helping me was very polite. She told me should could not sell me my Claritin D without a drivers license. I told her I have a passport and she said that wouldn't work. I asked her what happened if they didn't have a drivers license. I wasn't rude I was honestly curious. The pharmacist spoke up from the back and said, "It's not the end of the world. If you don't have a drivers license you don't get it." First of all I wasn't speaking to him and I was not yelling or speaking rudely to pharmacy tech to where he needed to intervene on her behalf. Apparently it's unacceptable to ask questions here. I would've given a lower score but the pharmacy tech was nice and helpful. read more

Pharmacy review, I have yet to shop at in store. I recently moved back and have getting my prescriptions at CVS for years. Though at times things can be slow, some days are just busier Han others, I find them to very helpful. My Dr is in California still while I'm already in Schertz for the most part. There was no issue or break in getting my prescriptions. She even doubled checked all previous scripts and told me just to let them know when I was ready for refills. One less thing to worry about. The only thing is their drive through could go better. I don't typically use the drive through and the one time I did I sat there forever because I wasn't sure how it all worked. I felt ignored for awhile but being new to it, I didn't push the button either because I didn't see it read more

I was scheduled for my first dose to be given Monday @10:30. I called the day before and the lady in the pharmacy laughed at my concern for the bad weather that was due that night. "We never close, so if you don't make the appointment, that is on you". So 6 inches of snow falls and I make the hour long drive (which usually takes 15 minutes) to pull up to a dark pharmacy. Now my problem isn't with them wanting to protect their staff. I just don't understand how one of the largest chains in the world can't email their clients like Metro health and all the other large vaccine providers did and also reschedule them so they didn't lose out and have to start over. They did nothing and canceled my second dose with an lifeless email saying to bad so sad. By the way every other CVS and Walgreens in the area were open...... read more

We asked questions about how a certain prescription can be transferred and we called the hospital and the hospital told us to go in and have cvs call the hospital to transfer it, and his response was "well I'm not going to call them for you". Minute Clinic staff is rude. I had to drive across town because there were no appointments available near my home. I have never been treated the way I was today. I literally felt like the physician was a robot. He was in a rush and asked me several question ta over and over. Not friendly at all and very rough when he swabbed my nose and throat. I've taken a flu, covid and strep test many time and it has never hurt like it did today. I'm here because I don't feel well. Someone who is rough and unfriendly isn't the best way be when you are caring for them. Bed side manner should be a necessity but at the location it is non existent. read more

I experienced the same situation regarding my COVID vaccine yesterday. The entire state of Texas is under severe weather warning. All major highways and roads in and around San Antonio were closed yesterday and all vaccination clinics publicly announced on the local news that vaccination appointments were to be rescheduled - EXCEPT FOR CVS! I called the pharmacy all day long yesterday and each time after about 30 minutes on hold I was disconnected. Nobody ever bothered to pick up the phone nor let me know if the store was proceeding with the vaccination clinic. When it came time to check in, I received an email and text were I was supposed to check in via a "check in" button - yet the disclaimer underneath said that the button was "currently disabled", leaving me questioning if the store was even open. Since I didn't want to risk getting into a car accident on the icy roads with the potential of finding a closed store or better canceled vaccination clinic, I did not make the trip. This morning I received an email that my second appointment was canceled as well and that I lost the opportunity to get vaccinated and no further appointments available in all of Texas. How can disorganized and disappointing! I would have expected much better from CVS. Also wondering what happened to my vaccine dose? Did they just give it away to someone random?!? read more

By far the worst CVS Pharmacy I've ever visited. I scheduled a COVID test appointment at 10:00 am. I arrived at 9:50 am and didn't even get service till 10:07. The clerk was incredibly rude and made me feel like I was putting her out just for showing up. The worst customer service I've received from any other pharmacy. I waited for over 40 minutes because she said she had to call the provider regarding my insurance. Eventually she told me to leave and get to the back of the line because the provider hadn't responded yet. I told her I didn't want to go to the back because I'd have to start all over again and I'd already been in line for so long. She insisted that I had to leave. So I left without being tested. She wouldn't give me her supervisors number like I asked for three times. Instead she gave me the providers number. I called him and he said he had already sent the clerk / pharmacy tech the information she had been waiting for. So there was no reason for her to send me away. I went to the back of the line and waited another 15 minutes but the line did not move. So I walked inside but no one was at the pharmacy front desk. This is by far the worst CVS. Don't come to this one for anything. Not only are the pharmacy staff disrespectful, rude and give terrible service, but the inside of the store is also in a terrible state. (Dirty, poorly stocked). One star is too much, but zero stars was not an option. read more

I go here frequently. Not for prescriptions, but they have dog treats for my allergic dog that are lamb. She loves them. They always have a lot of sales...especially on yummy nuts. And, also on holiday items the day after the holiday is over. The cashiers are always super-friendly. read more

The pharmacy staff are wonderful. Yet the main store staff is a hit or miss. You get some that look like they hate their job. They get frustrated with people and their coupons. The store is ok at times but sometimes you get main store employees that just walks by stuff that have fallen on the floor. 1 star for pharmacy staff 1 star for clean restrooms. Unbelievable! After a hassle back and forth with pharmacy technicians over. My prescription they had already filled, I decided to try them out one more time. This time I ordered photo prints. I received confirmation email and email saying my photos were ready. I show up 1.5 days later and they had no idea of my order, or what happened to it. A few weeks ago I bought a prepaid Visa card for a mother to be as a baby shower gift. We gave the card to the family and when they tried to use the card, the card did not have any credit card numbers or expiration dates on it. I contacted the manager, Fernando and him and his team were so kind and professional in trying to get the card replaced. They went way out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. I can't express how much I appreciate everything they did for this frustrating time. Thank you very much from the bottom of our hearts. The parents to be will be very happy! I want everyone to know that the customer service that was given to us, is what I believe we all need to give to everyone. Kindness and professionalism is what really counts. I am so very disappointed time and time again at this pharmacy. It is the closest pharmacy to our home and we have to use it their services often. They never ever give us counsel, even when it clearly states on the medicine bottles "counsel, new drug". IF I dare to ask, I always get a rude comment from the pharmacist. It doesn't matter who's shift it is either, they all either hate their jobs, or hate their patients. Example, I asked if I could use my phone number for my points yesterday and the tech said it was too late he had already rung up my total. I asked to speak with the pharmacist and he was just as rude. I had 5 prescriptions that day so it was very upsetting. The pharmacist, as their supervisor, sets the tone. I have to say that I am extremely disappointed in the pharmacy at this location. My daughter developed a urinary tract infection late in the afternoon. We had a prescription called in this evening when it became apparent that she could not wait until morning to be seen. My husband,who stopped to pick up the rx on his way home from work, arrived a few minutes after 9 and saw that the pharmacy was closed, but the pharmacist was still back behind the gate. My husband asked if the rx had been called in, and saw that it had been. We knew we needed to give info and insurance bc our daughter is never sick and hadn't had an rx filled off base her whole life (she is 5). The pharmacist refused to take the information, but offered to call the rx over to walgreens, who is open 24 hours. That would not have been a problem, IF walgreens accepted tri Care!! It took you longer to call the prescription over to walgreens than it would to take the info and fill the prescription! How do I know this, you ask? I AM a pharmacist, and I have stayed the extra minutes to make sure a baby gets her meds. Thank you for making sure we NEVER darken the doors of a cvs again. Even though we just had to pay $46 for an rx that I know costs less than $20-with the pharmacy fees, even, I will gladly pay it if it means I don't have to do business with health care providers who are too lazy to do their job!! read more

This is the worse pharmacy ever! If you are sick and need your medications in a hurry please go somewhere else. They promise you your meds within a certain time frame and when you return they extend that time. Prescriptions are never ready when promised! After reading the other reviews I dont feel bad for what l have to say. I have been a CVS customer since l retired. They are one of 3 preferred pharmacy providers for Silver Scripts medicare part D. I have faced many challenges trying to get medications filled. I receive e- mails that medications are ready only to be told they have no prescriptions for me when i arrive and wait for more than 40 minutes while they search and never find my Rx. I call in refills and never receive an e- mail or call that they are ready. When i call they say it's out of stock and they don't know when they will get more. They did not call my MD office. I then call my endocrinologist who adjusts the dose so i can get my thyroid medication. I then began having problems with thyroid levels and had tho be put back on prior dose which means l paid 2 co- pays. Last night i hand carried a Rx from my MD which l needed but was told by the pharmacist that l would have to wait at least an hour. I got so upset that l walked out and did without my medication. I have now filed 2 formal complaints with Silver Scripts but i doubt the 2nd one will do any more good than the 1st one did. My BIGGEST concern is that they are grossly understaffed. I see the pharmacist rushing like mad and as a medical professional myself l can tell you that rushing leads to mistakes. I'm going to contact CVS corporate but don't feel that it's going to do any good. I'm SO done with CVS. It seems their bottom line is making $$ and not customer service. Changing my part D provider as well since they try to push this sub par pharmacy down our throats and do nothing when a formal complaint is lodged. read more

I am so done with this store. I was trying to use a coupon on seasonal items only to be told that the candle which I was trying to purchase was not a seasonal item. If it's in the seasonal aisle it seems to me that's how it should be rung up. If not, then get the candles out of that aisle. I gave the manager a chance to please the customer but he said it was out of his hands. His name was Cameron. As a manager I know he has the ability to over ride any problem. But he chose instead to make the customer unhappy. The cashier told me I could get more seasonal items totaling $15 so I could use the coupon. What is the point in that if I'm trying to save money? I told them that they should move all those Christmas candles out of the seasonal aisle. CVS has lost a customer in me and I will never go there again. I lost faith in their pharmacy last year. I'm so done with this store. They seem to never be able to do anything right. Walgreens has all my needs, pharmacy, coupons honored and retail shopping. read more

In the past 18 months, I'm sorry to say the service has truly become lacking. There haver been several changes in pharmacists and pharmacy techs. So I received a $10 off coupon from Cvs on a $15 purchase if I tried their curbside service. What a joke! I've never had so many things messed up at once. 1st off there was no sign near any parking spot so I pulled up to the closest spot out front and waited 15 min for my order. Nobody showed so I went it. As I got to the checkout the cashier picked up a phone and said are you miss Hillman to pick up your order. I said yes, she handed me two large bags that should have contained the 6 items I ordered online. I told her I couldn't find the sign identifying curb side pickup. She said it's a big red sign right in front, I asked her to show me for next time. We go outside and the sign she takes me to is a tall red flag within inches from the red box machine-no where near the parking spot and as we walked out a car was pulling out of the spot she said was designated for curbside pickup. I told her if the sign was closer to the spot they probably would not have parked there, she looked dumbfounded and just walked back inside. I got home and found that one of my 6 items was not in the bag and they ended up charging me more than what I owed for all items which was $17.69 with the coupon!! Unbelievable!! Because they didn't give me the $4.69 item my total did not make $15 so they took away my $10 coupon and charged my credit card 21.84 and they didn't even bother to tell me!!! . My receipt I got online said my "order was complete and delivered", it showed all 6 items were "delivered" including the one I never received!! It also showed my total was what I signed up to pay which was $17.69. I called the store back when I realized the item was missing but I was so irate that I couldn't even bother listening to her pathetic lame excuse of why it happened and why nobody bothered to tell me. She told me to bring the items back tonight...Really?? 830 at night after all this??? You do not want to hear what I have to say if I gave to come back in there tonight!!! Tell me again how you were going to save me time and money??! I'm back to going to Walgreens!! This is the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I recommend scrapping it at this store or getting someone with some common sense to manage it. My order number was 8F9D6FF6, and my receipt transaction number was 7339, cshr#1, str7816, and the cashier who made out the receipt was Donna. This is terrible service fix it! I am only giving this pharmacy 1 start, because 0 stars isn't an option. This pharmacy is HORRIBLE! So bad that I contacted their corporate offices! (and I NEVER do that?? Who does that? Well, this time I did). Strike 1, I once had to wait over an hour for a prescription filled for my husband that took them 4 days after it was called in to fill! My husband was sick and the meds were an antibiotic to make him feel better. He had to suffer through for 4 extra days because they simply just didn't fill it. Strike 2, I personally took in a prescription for insulin (after I was just diagnosed with gestational diabetes) and set a pick up time for 6:00 that evening...it was currently 2:00 in the afternoon. After calling to check on the prescription at 7:00 since I hadn't heard from them, the pharmacist acted like she knew nothing about it...later calling me back to tell me she found the prescription sitting there but didn't have the brand my insurance actually covered so $160+ and a big hassle later, I finally had the insulin I needed. At least that pharmacist was friendly. Strike 3, my Dr. called in a refill for syringe toppers to my insulin pen (you know, because the pen doesn't work w/out a syringe)....the tech claimed my dr.'s office didn't call it in....after I insisted that they had (since I made sure to ask before leaving their office), the prescription magically appeared to them....but I had to wait hours to get it. Strike 4 was today when I called to check on my insulin AGAIN, to be told it was out of stock and wouldn't be in until the next day. REALLY??? Thank God I'm not an insulin dependent diabetic like other people are or I would have been in big trouble!!! Not to mention that the pharmacist was rude and pushed me off the phone before I could even ask for other options. You would think a pharmacy would contact you to let you know there would be a delay or that something was out of stock. I gave up and called Walgreens on the same road (which I never had issues with before and who were incredibly friendly) and asked if they had the meds in stock and if I could transfer my prescription. They put in the transfer and suggested that I called CVS to let them know the transfer request was sent to ensure I could get it filled ASAP (CVS was closing in 40 min). When I called CVS, I explained to the tech why I was calling and gave her my info...she then passed me on the the same pharmacist as before who proceeded to speak to me in a very demeaning manner as I tried explaining to him why I was calling. After trying to explain to this man who was basically berating me about how he KNEW what to do with a transfer request blah blah blah, I finally expressed that he was being incredibly rude to me and that it wasn't appreciated and that I would be calling corporate to let them know. He continued on speaking to me in the same rude manner until I became angry enough to hang up on him. Time will tell if he actually put my transfer in. I'm done! I don't care about insurance discounts anymore....I will pay extra to go elsewhere rather than deal with this junk again! Customer BEWARE! read more

Apparently I looked uneducated enough to be told by the pharmacist on duty that they were not a fast food restaurant after I had dropped my prescription off 3 hours earlier and they couldn't get their stuff together. I waited too long in the drive through not feeling well, to be told I had to come inside to have the issue resolved and I explained I was sick and in my pajamas and was not going inside. The person at the window then rolled her eyes and told me that I would then just need to get out of line and go around to get back in line. I explained the inconvenience of that and that I would wait while they fixed it real quick. That's when the pharmacist became involved and thought I was there for a happy meal or something and told me this isn't a fast food restaurant and I would need to go around. She stated she would not service me if I continued to stay in line, so I told her I needed my medicine and for that reason I would go around but I will never return as a customer again. This store is so convenient location wise, but that's the least of my concern. Be a little more sympathetic for those who are ill, as if you give them the pickle, it can go a long way.
