I have lived in Canyon Lake for several years. Today was…read morethe worst experience I ever had. I broke my foot while on vacation. I went to my GP and ended up with a rx for my pain . The pharmacist was so incredibly rude, refused to fill or transfer my rx to someone else. When I asked why she LIED, said that she called the other two pharmacies in our area and tried to tell me that she found out that I was getting narcotics from all 3 pharmacies in town. Not possible first of all because narcotics go into a database and she would automatically be able to see anywhere that I have not gotten any other narcotics. Also I can't possibly even do that because any doctor can also see that. I believe they are breaking the law on two things. 1. Calling other pharmacies and talking about me I believe breaks HIPPA laws. 2. She is refusing to follow Doctors orders and told me she just doesn't want to do it because she doesn't like me! Also 3 years ago I almost died because they didn't do their job and I was unresponsive and taken to the hospital. That tells me they didn't check for drug interactions! Please please, do not trust them with your life, nor your privacy. Oh, and yes I recorded the call and have her saying she called other pharmacies and talked to them about me. Thank God I have an attorney in the family lol. When karma hits you ma'am, I hope you remember my name and it never leaves your head Edit: so I talked with our attorney in the family and unfortunately it's past the statute of limitations. However what I can do is file a complaint with the Board of Pharmacists and it will stay on her permanent record. I urge anybody else who has had to deal with her abhorrent and unprofessional behavior do the same. The more people that file misconduct or any other complaints to the board of pharmacists the better. This can get her license revoked! And she can no longer put people's lives in danger nor their privacy . This woman's lack of compassion, unethical and irresponsible practices will stop and she will never practice as a pharmacist will stop and nobody will ever have to go through the pain and suffering I have gone through. Actually I'm going to call our family attorney and see if I can sue her for pain and suffering personally. Not only that, our feline specialist is in SA, and we were originally going to have to drive to medical center for the antibiotic (we live about 2 miles from Gruene Road Pharmacy). It was going to take about 4 days for them to make, and our cat had already went to the ER after nearly becoming septic from his UTI. I'm training to be a provider (for people) myself, so I knew that Gruene Road could compound medications, but for a cat? Now, Sir Skittles seems to be doing better than ever!! We are so thankful for Gruene Road Pharmacy!! Without them, who knows how Sir Skittles would be, or me for that matter, after driving back and forth to the medical center. Served Corn casserole, Green Bean casserole, mashed potatoes, biscuits and HAM! The Meal was great except for the Ham - the ham was so salty, NOBODY could eat it. It was their 'special' store brand, I forget the name. That night, i put it all together in the original bag, next day took it back to walmart and told them i would like a refund. The lady at the counter said no way without the receipt. I had purchased the ham a week earlier for cash and didn't keep the receipt, but the label showed clearly it came from walmart. They called the manager, same result. I was NOT a happy person, finally called the number on the ham and explained my problem while standing with the manager. The lady on the phone said VERY CLEARLY that i should get my refund via a gift card. The ONLY amusing thing was that a sign behind the customer service desk said, returns could be accepted with or WITHOUT a receipt. I pointed it out to the manager, she just turned and walked away. I WILL NEVER BUY GROCERIES AT NEW BRUNSFEL WALMART AGAIN, NOTHING!

When she got home and checked the ingredients, she noticed the expiration date was 12/25/25 -- already expired. She took it back to customer service and was given a hard time about getting a refund or even an exchange. After some back and forth, the manager finally agreed to let her exchange it. When she went back to the meat section, she noticed the entire brand was expired -- every single package dated 12/25/25. She grabbed ten of them and brought them to the manager, asking why expired meat was still being sold. No explanation. So, moral of the story: don't buy food at Walmart without checking the expiration date first.
