Met a friend as she recommended this place & was coming from New Braunfels. Cute & quaint shop in a tree-lined street with a small town feel. I parked under a tree & entered around the corner. Lots of pastry selections with coffee selections as well. I took my time as a lot looked yummy. I chose a savory pizza bread which had the choice of Pepperoni or just cheese. I chose the Pepperoni. Saw a Cruffin so I asked the clerk what it was filled with & she said Strawberry. Chose that & a featured Lavender VaLatte with Oat Milk. The clerk put the pastries on an aluminum tray lined with a wax paper sheet but I had her bag my Cruffin. She proceeded to make my Lavender Latte & I saw her pouring regular whole milk in the frother so I asked if that was Oatmilk & she stopped herself & said "No it's not. Sorry, I didn't write the order down" or something to that effect. I sat down by the one soda while she made my drink which was smooth & subtly lavender. The pizza bread didn't have a chewy bread texture and was soft. My friend arrived and ordered a large Americano, a Cruffin, Tart -pastel de nata & savory tomato/cheese pizza twist Danish pastry. She loved the pastel de nata as it reminded her of Portuguese tarts. We sat on the wooden tables with benched seating & chairs. The sofas are soft but one fabric chair had stains on it. There are other small tables & barstools with counter seating. Nice natural light flows in. Bathrooms were clean & additional seating was outside on a deck. I could see a nice party outside except the train runs across the street so that could be an issue as they blow their horns coming thru. They sell merch & preserved jellies & honey too. read more

I'm currently on the hunt for a new go-to bakery/dessert spot and was really hoping Pastry Corner might be it. When we pulled up, I immediately thought how cute and quaint the place looked. I loved the vibe of the area and it gave a really welcoming first impression from the outside. Once we stepped inside, though, the experience felt a little different. The person behind the counter didn't seem very engaging, and when my son was trying to decide what treat he wanted and asked a few questions about the items in the display case, the responses felt pretty minimal. It made the interaction feel a bit awkward, and I ended up skipping the bread I was considering because I didn't want to ask more questions. That said, the desserts themselves were good. The macarons were delicious, and the cheesecakes were pretty tasty as well. I'd be open to giving it another try in the future, as the bakery itself seems like it has a lot of potential. read more

One word- Devoured. We have been regularly coming to Pastry Corner for almost a year now. I genuinely would miss them if we moved out of the area. I personally like their croissants (ham & cheese, and hazelnut). They have these regularly, and we get them every time. My husband and mom get their iced matcha fix here. Cakes and cupcakes are delicious, I LOVED their churro cupcake they did awhile ago, and their vanilla cake/cupcakes are my favorite (even though I usually prefer chocolate). Anytime they come out with something that resembles a Smore in someway, it is DELICIOUS. I wish they would make more Smore type desserts. My family all like their chocolate pudding cups, sourdough bread, and oatmeal crème sandwich cookies. Bagels are always good too. I have ate so many different things that it's hard to keep track of everything, but anything is worth trying at least once in my opinion. Although I am not a scone person personally, and the one thing I wouldn't recommend is the Pizza bread. The place itself is super cute and cozy. It feels like a true gathering place for people in the community. On the weekends there can sometimes be a rush of people flowing in and out. Outside seating is under a big tree with a small garden. It is fun to walk through, especially when the weather is nice. Also, their sugar cookie bars are tasty! They have them maybe once a month, but whenever I see them I get one. I wish their signage would be up for their pastries, there has been times when they don't know what something is (typically on busy days when they have lots of food prepared). I just found out they had milk chocolate croissants the other day, only because I over heard them tell someone else. Maybe I'm just not observant, or the signage needs to be bigger. They are my favorite place in all of Cibolo. The photos were taken back in October. I personally love it when they do festive drinks and designs on their pastries, it makes it more fun & I feel more inclined to try something new. What a delightful little bakery. Located near the railroad tracks in downtown Cibolo. Look for the cute little house facing the tracks. I met a friend here for coffee, pastries and conversation. It's a great place to be able to visit & enjoy a delicious treat. Staff is very kind, knowledgeable, and efficient. I thoroughly enjoyed my vanilla latte and my brookie (brownie/cookie). They have a large selection of pastries, breads, and sweets to choose from. I definitely need to try one of their cinnamon rolls. It looks so good. Staff was wonderful at describing each of the items. I will definitely be back to pick up some fresh bread and croissants. read more

I don't know about you but sometimes you have to have a good pastry. So in order to feed that need I decided to try, "The Pastry Corner". Now this place is very welcoming the garden in the patio, the comforting atmosphere of the home gives this place a sense of family. As you enter you notice the pastries and a good seating area also but mainly the pastries. The people inside politely greet you and give you time to choose what you'll have and answer any questions you might have. They have a great selection of pastries, scones, bagels and coffees. I chose a cheesecake pastry with a melted caramelized marshmallow topping, which was delicious. If in the area I highly recommend this place. read more

The Pastry Corner is a quaint little pastry shoppe with indoor and outdoor seating. Although, on the weekend morning I went, it appeared not much attention to upkeep has been done to the outside area. The pastries look amazingly fresh, with an assortment of cookies, muffins, bagels, croissants and bread. The interior is clean with intimate seating and a large table against the back wall ready to seat 8 or 9. The staff are friendly and seem to stay busy assisting customers. I enjoyed an Everything Bagel with Cheddar / Bacon schmear. It was tasty and fresh although, I should have asked if it could be toasted. - next time perhaps. There's also a limited assortment of coffee and Lattes to warm you up and get you started. Juices and water is also available. The Pastry Corner is a bit hard to find. From Main St. in Cibolo, turn onto Rawe Ave. adjacent to the public parking and the Rooted Fork. Follow the road to the left and you'll find The Pastry Corner on the right, 1/2 a block down. Pastry Corner is an adorable bakery and easily one of the yummiest places I've ever been--seriously, the treats are incredible. That said, this review is solely based on the service. The staff didn't greet us upon arrival, and when our drinks were ready, they were left on the table without any clarification. We had to ask which one was ours among several, which made things a bit confusing. I'd love to see the service match the quality of the food because this place truly has so much potential! read more

This is a cute and cozy little spot. It sits off the main road behind other small businesses so it could be a little hard to find without GPS. The workers were sweet young girls who greeted us immediately. I had the cruffin and cheesecake, both were great. The cheesecake was more cheesecake than banana pudding, but still good (and bigger than I expected). The only (somewhat minor) negative is that another customer came in with a dog. I don't necessarily enjoy eating around animals but thankfully they didn't stay to eat inside. Other than that the place was nice and clean and I recommend checking it out! read more

There is a serious shortage of great baked goods in this area of San Antonio, but The Pastry Corner definitely helps make up for that! I found this place when I googled "scones near me" because I haven't had a good scone since moving here from DFW almost 2 years ago! Google led me to the Pastry Corner, which is conveniently located only about 15 minutes from my work. I drove over on a chilly early afternoon to pick up a scone, but as soon as I walked in and saw the pastry case, I knew I was in trouble! There were so many delectable items to choose from, that I ended up buying: 2 savory pastries/danishes, 1 blueberry scone, 1 hazelnut croissant, 1 chocolate croissant, 1 jam-filled cruffin, a ham and cheese croissant, and 1 vanilla cupcake with chocolate frosting. We ate our way through the pastries over the next few days, and were not disappointed in the quality. The pastries were all flaky and light, perfectly laminated dough! The scone was one of the best I've had, and I shared it with some coworkers who were also suitably impressed. The only items that could use a little improvement were the ham and cheese croissant and the cupcake. The ham was in a thick slab, which made it difficult to eat and didn't provide a great texture for the interior of the croissant. Either thin sliced ham piled up inside or diced ham would be better, I think. The cupcake was good, and the frosting was light and delicious, not too sweet, but the cake itself was a little dry and crumbly and didn't have a ton of flavor. I still enjoyed it, mind you, but it wasn't perfection (not many things are in life, right?). I will definitely be back at least once a month to buy a passel of pastries! I am also looking forward to trying their coffee and tea drinks, which smelled heavenly! The location itself is small and quaint, with a small side parking lot that looks to be consistently full. There is additional parking across the street though, so no worries. Sorry for the lack of pictures, I was so in awe of the baked goods I forgot to take any while I was there, lol. First time here after reading reviews. Great little artisan bakery with baked good. Decided to try cinnamon rolls. I should have asked to warm it up would have been better. Just had brewed coffee... (drip coffee) More of a bakery than coffee shop. Can't wait to try the other goodies. read more

What's not to love at this small town bakery? Massive lemon bars and the best spinach /cheese pastries in a flaky crusted bed. We have to order several boxes of delights every time we go because we can't pick just one. Customer service is good ( could be a little more friendly) and the chai tea is yumville. read more

When I asked whether the cupcakes were for sale or just for display, the girl with the glasses was rude. Thee absolute best cinnamon roll I have EVER had! Only rival would have been the one from Lulu's Bakery. They are consistently good! The cookies are 2nd to none as well. If you're from the Cibolo/Schertz area and remember how amazing Mama J's Cookies was, then you should rejoice because Pastry Corner has AMAZING cookies. The Chocolate chip cookies are perfect, the Snickerdoodle cookies are perfect. They even have a brookie- which is a brownie, cookie. When I found Pastry Corner, I was looking for a quiet place with wifi, but it turned out that the food is so good that I am planning to come back with friends. The café is in a refurbished house in old town Cibolo. They have a wide variety of baked goods ready to eat or take home. The staff are friendly and kept up with a stream of customers. I ordered a croissant and tea, and picked up some sweets to go. I was tempted to get a loaf of challah or sourdough as well. They serve a variety of coffee beverages, too. I am so excited about this new bakery here in Cibolo. The building is a very cute old remodeled house. The inside is decorated beautifully and always smells delicious. So far my 2 favorite items are the cruffins and maritozzi. They sell out of pastries almost every day so get there early if you want a variety of goods to try. I have had a latte only once but is was hot smooth and tasty. I love the flakiness of the cruffin and the filling is the perfect sweetness. The staff is patient and friendly even with me taking a bit of time choosing my various items. Just writing this review is now forcing me to get up tomorrow and get my favs and bring my family theirs also. If you live near here do yourself a favor and check this small business out! read more

I went in here on my day off while waiting to meet with a friend. I had gotten the macaroons from them and when asked what flavor they said peaches and cream which I never had before so I only gotten one, once I tried it I couldn't tell you it was delicious I ended up going back and getting more it was creamy with the correct crunch. Stopped by to check this place out. It's relatively new to downtown Cibolo, Texas called the Pastry Corner. Awesome little place to try! Old house renovated into this bakery. Indoor and outdoor seating available. My wife got the blueberry white chocolate scone and a vanilla latte. I got a lemon pound cake and ice water. Blueberry White Chocolate Scone 8/10 - the pastry texture was excellent with a little flaky and toasted crunch. The only negative was it could have had more blueberries. Vanilla Latte 8/10 - good flavor profile. The vanilla flavor was perfect. Could still taste the coffee flavor also. Lemon Pound Cake 5/10 - I love lemon, but for me personally it was too overwhelming. It had a very pronounced sugar hit as well. If you love lemon, I'd suggest you at least try it. Atmosphere 10/10 - the old house being renovated into this bakery is perfect with the old Cibolo theme. It totally works for this area. It's decorated perfectly snd has a cozy feel. It has indoor seating that is extremely clean and put together. The outdoor seating is a huge patio/porch with good seating. It's beautiful outside with the trees and plants. Wow! Came her after seeing a post on fb for a pastry. Well they were all sold out by the time I arrived. I did pick up a cheese cake and a few other items. We enjoyed the cheese cake. The crust tasted like it was made with brown butter. It was so tasty. I enjoyed every little bite I took. Everything was fresh and delicious. Definitely have to come back and try more items. All the pastries look so good. I usually get my bread fix at the Garden Ridge Market Days when they bring all their goodies. There are so many varieties of sourdough, but I always get a round or loaf pan shape. The bread has that great sourdough smell and makes fabulous toast. The air bubbles are uniform and it makes a great sandwich bread. read more

Last Thursday after shopping at the new HEB we were happy to had finished 10 minutes before 3pm. We had 10 mins to stop by The Pastry Corner. The place is nice and clean and inviting. The staff member was friendly and courteous. Everything look so good I decided to buy Coconut Cream Pie, Lemon Cake, Cinnamon Rolls and Cookies of each flavor. Sadly, I have to give The Pastry Corner 1 Star because all the pastries including the cookies were stale. I even had to microwave the Cinnamon Roll before giving it a try. I will not give it another chance. They should have never sold us old pastries and bread. We are so disappointed! read more

Wonderful cafe and pastry spot that will definitely satisfy your sweet tooth and need for caffeine. They also go to some of the local area farmers markets. I usually see them at the Garden Ridge farmers market, and end up leaving with chocolate chip cookies and banana bread. At the shop, they a wide assortment of treats.
