Chose that & a featured Lavender VaLatte with Oat Milk. The clerk put the pastries on an aluminum tray lined with a wax paper sheet but I had her bag my Cruffin. She proceeded to make my Lavender Latte & I saw her pouring regular whole milk in the frother so I asked if that was Oatmilk & she stopped herself & said "No it's not. Sorry, I didn't write the order down" or something to that effect. I sat down by the one soda while she made my drink which was smooth & subtly lavender. The pizza bread didn't have a chewy bread texture and was soft. My friend arrived and ordered a large Americano, a Cruffin, Tart -pastel de nata & savory tomato/cheese pizza twist Danish pastry. She loved the pastel de nata as it reminded her of Portuguese tarts. We sat on the wooden tables with benched seating & chairs. The sofas are soft but one fabric chair had stains on it. There are other small tables & barstools with counter seating. Nice natural light flows in. Bathrooms were clean & additional seating was outside on a deck. I could see a nice party outside except the train runs across the street so that could be an issue as they blow their horns coming thru. They sell merch & preserved jellies & honey too.

The coffee is so smooth and delicious! I ordered a large (more like a medium), iced blackberry vanilla latte (house made syrups). It was so delicious! I did add 2 shots to make it a quad, as it had been a long, early morning for me. Their espresso is not bitter- it is just beautiful! I wish they had larger sizes so I could sip on it longer haha. The pastries are hit or miss- I thought the poptart was great, the cherry streusel was alright, but my friend said the cinnamon roll was a bit dry and needed more icing (it was big). And to my surprise I find this place called "Brew K Cafe", the term hidden gem doesn't do it justice, this place in my opinion offers one of the best coffee I've had in a long time. They offer coffee, some meat items, bubble tea, lemonades among other items. Upon entering the establishment you see a good amount of seating for the size of the place, you are kindly greeted by the people behind the counter which usually are the proprietors of the restaurant. On this episode I got a "Dolce Iced Coffee", I kid you not it was one of my favorites. If you find yourself near Cibolo and you have a craving for something unique you have to give Brew K Cafe a try. We asked for a water cup and were handed a paper cup with coffee grinds floating in it and not to mention is it straight from the tap. We have two kids and seen they have an order of two strawberry waffles, again for over $10, and when they arrived at the table they could not be bigger than a large silver dollar. We adults ordered our own avocado toast and opted for the brisket. The brisket was originally frozen as we seen her scrap it from a pan, the "toast" is served with several mini pieces of bread, an avocado spread, and a sprinkle of pico. Again, not much flavor and the bread was very soggy. When at the counter I did try to order over easy eggs in which she replied,"I'm sorry we don't do eggs like that. They come already made,frozen". The space feels more open and inviting now, with plenty of room to hang out, get online, and take advantage of the free WiFi. It was surprisingly quiet when we arrived--holiday timing probably worked in our favor! I went with my usual avocado drink, made with fresh avocado and no added sugar or sweetener. Still creamy, refreshing, and exactly what I was craving. My cousins weren't quite as impressed with their usual drinks this time around--good, but missing that "OMG, I need this again" factor. Service was still friendly and on point. We ended up taking our drinks to go, but hey, sometimes boba is meant to accompany you in the next adventure. Overall, The Dream still delivered a pleasant little boba break. Not every drink was a dream, but mine definitely was.
