The pharmacists politely answered all of my questions about insoles, even though they probably didn't have to. The parking lot is large, and it is easy to get to. Where do I start?!!! Every time I go there to pick up something, I have to deal with some issues at the pharmacy! A few days ago, I went to pick up my medication and the pharmacist , the one with the fake bright yellow hair, refused to give it to me because my doctor accidentally made an error writing my date of birth. However, they have my doctor name, they know me!! I ordered similar medications by the same doctor from them hundred times before. I argued with them and called my doctor and they were like no we are uncomfortable giving you the medication till the doctor answer and my doctor takes forever to answer (I wasted my whole evening). I was like how about a few pills till my doctor answers and confirms because I'm OUT OF MEDICATION (they have done it before) the pharmacist said no. I was out of medication and started feeling side effects and they were like no we can't give you anything (she said: go to urgent care and let them prescribe it again). That pharmacist literally do NOT have any common sense! And the best part was the Asian assistant (not the older one on the cash register), but another younger Asian assistant... she made my day... as much as I was angry she made me laugh so hard in the inside. She saw how angry i was and she had to help me, so she said same things as the pharmacist and was a little aggressive (because I was pretty angry) and then she had to check the computer for me so she started singing while doing that!! she reminded me of elementary school kids.... when one of the kids don't wanna hear you talking and they start singing "la la la I don't wanna hear". . She was hilarious but I had to keep my angry face to keep the angry mode! Now, I went to a different pharmacy same night... they processed everything SMOOTHLY over the phone. They were super nice! They prepared my medication and while I was going there to pick it up, my doctor called CVS to confirm my info, So this CVS pharmacy CANCELED my medication order from the new pharmacy and started the order AGAIN. I went to pick up my medication from the new pharmacy and they could not finish the order! They got really pissed and they said they are rude to cancel the order and take over. I couldn't pick up my medication from the new pharmacy till the next day. I had to call CVS, yell at them a little and make them transfer the medication because I didn't want to deal with them again. I told them why did you cancel and they were like we didn't cancel anything! They ruin everything and then they give hundred excuses that that was not their fault. Everyone told me they should have given me the medication and the pharmacist wouldn't loose her license... the pharmacist was afraid to loose her license... I don't think she deserves it in the first place. It was all a mess up. So don't go there, they don't have any common sense and they were all bunch of clowns working there... they deal with lots of personal issues and they take them out on customers I guess. Great selection, open 24 hours a day and right down the street from my house. I like the extra bucks system, i like getting money for nothing that I can in turn use for future shopping endeavors. The selection of alcohol is decent as well as moderately priced. The aisles are littered with some random stuff which I can sometimes get lost looking through. The two older ladies that work mostly night shifts there are a hilarious kick in the pants. They have great dry personalities backed with dry whit. I love this kind of sarcastic humor. My fella always comes here when he needs liquor and the guys at 7 11 say no. Which happens more than I like to admit, but hey it is what it is. read more

He think he is doing free service when he is living on patients money. Simple prescription for lancets I have to make 5 trips and still no success. This place is where dreams go to die. Every time I come here, I rethink every decision I've ever made that's led me here. Prescriptions are never ready. They tell you they'll expedite it and it will take 10 minutes. Fifty minutes later, you're still waiting and every last shred of patience has left your body. Surely this is some psychological experiment to see how far they can push you until you crack. You sit in the red chair from hell and hope that whatever plague you've just contracted from breathing in all the germs will kill you swiftly. The pharmacy used to be pretty painful but I feel like there's been a turnover with the staff and they are much easier to deal with (less like pulling teeth). There is never more than 1 person at the front registers during the week (at least that I've seen) and 3/4 of the time, there's an issue with the self checkout registers and you have to wait for someone to help you out and they never seem to want to NOT keep you waiting for 5 minutes at a time unless you want to hunt someone down. The stock is inconsistent but at least they've got those Brookside chocolate covered berries. Since it's a 24 hour CVS, my advice it's to get there really early in the day or really late at night. read more

Slow. I dropped my prescription off at 8am. She said that it would be ready in an hour. I had errands to run, so I came back at 12. My script wasn't started. I've been waiting now 25 minutes. It seems to be common here from the reactions of the other customers, "it's never ready." More importantly, the waiting area is set up way to close to the register for pickup. I could here everyone's names and birthdays, scripts, the names of who they were picking up for etc. Seems pointless to have a line set up "for privacy" then have chairs directly beside the register when everyone is giving their last names and birthday. Very unsecure. Be careful and expect a long wait. read more

The worse store you can go ! I went to transfer money from Moneygram! Waited a week , then figure out that my transaction was canceled! Called moneygram they told me to go same location and receive my money ! Went there the next day and no one really know what to do ! Store manager told me to go Walmart ! How professional is that , told me our machine is not working to give your money ! Gave me other CVS address to go and get money after I was surprised to hear the other store ( Walmart) name ! I despise this pharmacy. You wait in the long ass slow line. Get to the front. Your prescription isn't ready, and you're told to sit down, will call you in about 5 minutes when it's ready. Fast forward 30 minutes, and they clearly have forgotten you, even you are sitting right in the eyeline. You then have to get back in the slow ass line. This happens all the time. I moved to burbank just a couple months ago and took my scrips to this cvs location on Hollywood way. Every time I have gone to pickup there is a line and slow staff. Today my doctor printed a scrip and I brought it in. The pharmacist must not know what she's even doing because she wouldn't accept it, said I needed to call the doc to verify the scrip, I said the prescription in your hand is verification - no, they wanted ME to call to verify. How does that make any sense? I immediately drove to another pharmacy where it was accepted and filled with no hassle. I then transferred all prescriptions away from CVS and over to that pharmacy. No wonder this place is rated low - a much deserved rating based on experience. read more

This location has quickly turned into a hurry up and wait in the pharmacy department. Prescriptions are rarely ready when promised, and wait times once in the store have been consistently horrendous. Have not found a "good" time of day. They are mostly apologetic and polite, but come on. Hire more people or more competent employees. Not sure what the problem is. read more

Two nights in a row I had to deal with rude workers and both were rude to me in front of their manager. I was the only customer both times and both times I'm met with attitude as if I was stalling them from their grand purpose. I understand that customer service isn't their priority nor second, nor even a close third. Andre was horrible, I was getting a gift card for my parents anniversary and a screen popped up as I was reading the screen he grew more and more impatient and kept saying "just press the green button" over and over as I was reading. I asked him what the screen was for and he replied "if you were forced to buy the gift card it let's us know." Well that's a great idea if they ever let anyone read the screen! I hope Andre wasn't the cause of some poor person asking for help being dismissed. Seeing that apparently he is from corporate it's great to know that the through line of not caring about customers goes to the top. I'm so happy that this store can host Ellen and the First Lady, but it can't care enough for a common customer. Then tonight I got the absolute pleasure of interacting with Chuck R. Maybe Chucks case is the case of poor training as clearly he's in over his head with one customer I would hate to see him go on to two customers, that's asking way too much! He was so rude when I was trying to redeem my extra bucks that it caused me to write this review. Chuck's behavior was not only barbaric at best but he's lack of empathy and understanding of the human condition makes me happy that this CVS was willing to hire just about any corpse that walked through the door. Equal opportunity employer at work! I complained about Chuck directly to his boss, Jose, to which Jose apologized and coward away. Jose clearly has no handle on his employee (there was only one I saw working, I assume they have more hidden in that back taking a course on how not to treat a guest.) but he felt a half hearted apology was not just good but the best he can do. To say this location is terrible is an understatement; I am shocked it has stayed open for so long, maybe the fact that it's one of like seven 24/7 things in Burbank that keeps it open. Honestly folks, if I had the choice between buying a epi- pen from here or dying from my allergies, I rather say hi to God. If yelp had a zero it's not low enough for this location. The clinic advertises that they are open to 7PM. A woman in front of me signed in and was taken in immediately at 6:40pm. I went to sign in immediately after her and was not able to make an appt for that night. The first availability was at 8:50am the next morning, which I booked thinking the person there would take me because I was there. BOY WAS I WRONG!! Even though it was only 6:45pm as the last patient was leaving she WOULD NOT see me. Stating that the computer "automatically" stops taking appointments when they are fully booked for the day so they don't work late. AGAIN, it was on 6:45 and the last patient was leaving. I told her all I had was a sore throat but she refused to see me and turned me away. One last thing, the appt I booked for the next morning at 8:50am was invalid because a PAPER sign on the door said they would not open to 10:30am the next morning. So if you booked an appt online for 8am the next morning you would have to wait 21/2 hrs for someone to open. It looks like this clinic is run due to THEIR schedule and not and patients. I now understand why people go postal! I've been going to the CvS in Burbank (Hollywood way) for 20+ years. Every month now I have to call cvs only to be left on hold for minimum I'm of an hour and if that's not bad enough I am subjected to THE SAME CRACKLING god awful sappy song while on hold AND the song is interrupted by the automated voice who repeats the SAME information Over and over. I finally now get it... this is a subliminal message to make the caller so ANGRY that they hang up eventually--but not before wasting an hour. If I am lucky enough to get a life person they put me back on hold, if I reach the pharmacist, he is more angry than myself and it shows he has job burn out and absolutely no customer service skills whatsoever. A note to CVS: stop sending me customer surveys when you do not give a damn about your customers needs. You can remodel the store all you want it won't change the fact that you just don't care about the customer ONLY ABOUT TGE BOTTOM LINE. This really is the worst CVS pharmacy to deal with. They are always slammed as they are one of the only 24hr pharmacies in the area. Same day meds are fine here, but if you are trying to get anything reoccurring, just go somewhere else. They don't answer the phone and they don't want to help via the phone when they do answer. If you do need to work something out with them, you are better off going in person even though it's wildly chaotic there. Some people are actually helpful there in person, so you may get lucky. I was trying to get a specific brand of a medication because it's the only one I can take. I sat on hold so many times, and when I finally got someone to answer, she told me they didn't carry what I wanted and would not get it in for me, so I should take what they have or go somewhere else. I went in and a different guy plucked it off the shelf and filled it for me because they absolutely did have it in stock. Go somewhere else if you want to be treated with dignity and not have healthcare be more dehumanizing than it already is. read more

I've read these reviews and I totally disagree!!!! I switched to this CVS from Arleta because this CVS has GREAT service! There's never a long wait and the staff in the pharmacy are friendly and helpful. Today, I was in there picking up my husbands medicine and a gentleman named Juan Luis helped me and he was very polite and I loved that he asked how my husband was doing. This pharmacy is nothing like the one in Arleta on Woodman! This place is worth the drive!!! The Arleta pharmacy should take lessons from them. read more

I am a fan in person of this pharmacy but when calling on the phone, its a nightmare. Every time, I am put on hold for at least 15 minutes and the person who answers the phone is rude. I cant imagine that they are that busy, every hour with phone calls or that they don't have other people to answer questions on the phone. Let me begin by saying I fill monthly perscriptions here. I have no problem with them filling my order and texting that they are ready for pick up. Today I had visited an Urgent Care and am not well. The Dr. submitted 3 medications to be filled here for me. I gave myself about an hour then headed over to pick up the meds. I inquired about them and was told "we're working on them now". So feeling unwell and not wanting to return, I decided to wait...and wait....and wait. About 40 minutes later I asked about them and they told me we just finished. The girl started ringing me up and only had one bag. I asked if all 3 meds were in that one bag. She said "oh, there are more?". Yup..they hadn't filled all three. Longer story short, I waited (only because I am so sick I didn't think I could muster up the energy to drive back). After well over an hour and 20 minutes and being close to tears at how ill I felt, I finally got my medication. DON'T GO HERE IF YOU NEED YOUR MEDICINE ASAP. Like I said, I don't have issue with them filling my monthly orders and alerting me that they are ready. But I will not send them my ASAP orders. Their lack of honesty in not telling me that no one was working on my order was most upsetting. Had I known it would cost me almost an hour and a half I would have opted to go home and rest and try to get back later in the day. Horrible service today!! read more

Well staffed and after waiting at Walgreens in NoHo for an hour and they still couldn't find my prescription I went to this CVS and had my prescription moved and it is now 5:39 pm and it's ready. They almost killed me. I have been using CVS Pharmacy for 14 years. I am on 5-7 meds. Yesterday, my heart medication had almost run out (60 pills) so I called in a refill. When I went to pick it up they told me that it wasn't refillable for 2 more weeks and that, if I refilled it today, my insurance would not cover it and I would have to pay $186. OMG! Wait a minute. I calculated that CVS had shorted me 28 pills on the last refill and I did not know it. I NEVER make a mistake taking my meds so why was I 28 pills short? Hmm. Somebody at CVS can't count. As a result, I changed pharmacies, to Dana Drug. My strongest advice is: examine all your CVS medications when you pick them up, to make sure it is the right medication ... and count the pills. I find the pharmacy always understaffed. And my biggest problem with this CVS, IS the filthy bathrooms!! I have never seen them clean.

I tried CVS's over-hyped and over-advertised "Curbside Pick Up" service (aka "CVS Express") because they kept filling up my inbox with their $10 off coupon. I placed the order just after 10:00 AM this morning ad by the time I left for lunch, my order was still not ready. I was forced to cancel this order today because their system does not work. Not only does the CVS location I chose indicate that my order will be ready in 1 hour but the three confirmations I received specified that I should receive confirmation that my order is ready by 12:00 PM. I finally went to the store myself on my way back to work after my lunch break. Not only did I have to go inside the store (which completely defeats the purpose of the alleged "curbside" pickup) but my order was STILL not ready. The cashier assisting me calls someone in a back room somewhere who proceeds to tell me that she knows I am there to pick up my order, that my order IS in fact ready but that she cannot give it to me because she is not authorized to do so. I asked her how that was possible given that my credit card had been processed, my order confirmed and she had my order ready and sitting in front of her. Her only reply was that "the person" who CAN authorize my order to be given to me is out and will not return until at least ninety minutes from the current time. So her solution to this "convenience" service gone awry is for me to leave and come back later. How is that "convenient" for the customer? I told her to cancel the order because I was not going to wait or return for the two items that I purchased just to try out this new service. Thankfully, neither item was a prescription or something important because I have learned that their curbside service is completely unreliable and useless. When I asked for the manager, I was told "they are not here right now". When I attempted to re-purchase the two items from the store separately since I was already there, they would not honor my $10 coupon because it was only for the curbside orders. Even though the two items I wanted to buy were the same items that I had ordered through the curbside service - the very same items that were sitting in a bag in a room somewhere without authorization to be given to me! So I left and purchased the same two items on Amazon, cheaper. They will be at my house tomorrow. THAT is convenience. I still had to physically cancel the order from their app myself because the woman I spoke to is apparently also not authorized to cancel orders either. I would recommend that you not bother with trying out their new curbside service; it is not worth the $10 coupon. read more

I took my prescription (penicillin) to CVS in Scottsboro, AL. I waited for them to fill my prescription and then they told me they only had 2 and I would have to come back tomorrow for the rest of the pills (20). I was driving thru Huntsville so I stopped at one of the CVS pharmacies in Huntsville (University Dr.) and they refused to even consider filling the rest of my prescription. The reason "it would mess up Scottsboro's inventory". Huh....they didn't have an inventory. If I had been feeling good, I wouldn't have needed an antibiotic in the first place and then have to put up with their nonsense is ridiculous. I don't have any penicillin to take in the morning and will have to drive 30 miles to Scottsoboro to get the rest of my prescription filled. It's Walgreen's for me in the future. Needed 2 prescriptions filled. They said it would be ready in 10-15 minutes. 30 minutes later they had only one done. So they said they would expedite the second one and promised it would be ready in just 10 more minutes. It was done 25 minutes later. These were very common medications and there was no insurance involved. Just cash. If it's going to take an hour then tell me that, don't promise me 10 minutes so I don't go to another pharmacy.
