I am constantly in and out of this CVS. Of course, it's close, so it doesn't hurt, but it's also got everything. It's usually neat and orderly, and I never feel disgusted, even in the restroom (as far as public restrooms go). The people are generally nice - there's a sweet young girl in glasses who's always ready to greet you cheerfully, the older Filipino lady answers questions respectfully, and there's a funny younger dude at the check out usually. It also has Redbox, a pretty convenient stop were I a Redbox shopper. Why only three stars? Even though there are some rock stars (see above), there have also been some pretty rude employees, both on the floor and behind. Lines are inconsistent, more so on the slow side, even when there's few people. Also, even with a no solicitors sign, there are people outside the door usually. This was my preferred location but multiple visits have proven to show apathetic, lazy and otherwise unhelpful customer service. No one really offers to help and when presented with a question or looking for a specific product they have a can't be bothered attitude. Not to mention the people who panhandle for "charity" outside - those people just ask for money but don't say for what, and they're a bother. The parking lot is easy to get in and out of but otherwise it's a colossal pain in my ass. read more

It's a good and friendly neighborhood convenience store - anyone that tells you otherwise is probably out of line or having a bad day. Been coming here for 3 yrs now and there's rarely any issues. read more

Dear cvs. Instead of spending millions on commercials telling us what a good service you have, why don't you spend a minute to actually provide a good service. Over 15 min to get a running nose medicine. The girl at the consultant desk didn't want to show my what I need. Just keep telling me ails 16. 3 times I had to pick something go back to here to be told "no that's not what you need". 15 min and 3 times in line to leave the place with no results. read more

I went to go pick up a perscription at 511 Hollywood, Burbank CVS, and waited in a line of 10 to 15 people, only to be told that the perscription had been sent to the wrong CVS, and that I needed to wait in the 10 person long-drop off perscription line, then after waiting in that line, she said it would be longer since they have to call, and to "check back" in 2 or 3 hours. So I came back the next day, but it was a total waste of time. Unfortuantely, we asked the doctor to call it into that pharmacy again. Not wanting to wait in the huge line again, I am calling to check. I called first time, and after pushing 5 prompts, said to hold, then hung up on me. Called back and have been on hold.1 HOUR and 7 minutes If you can help it, don't use this pharmacy. Every where else, yelp and other reviews, give it a 2 out of 5 stars and that is probably more than they deserve. I feel that his sort of service is expected in a third world country. What has happended to the US customer service, like it used to be? That they cared. I'm transferring it to some other place. Probably the CVS in Target. So done, with the CVS on Hollywood. I always go to this store and give them 5s on all their surveys, but on July 3rd, I didn't have the same experience. This Pharmacist floater named Jacky has ruined all my week. Do not confuse her with Jacky the assistant manager at the front store, she is great. My horrible experience was at the pharmacy. I have left messages and replied Alenoosh to a previous email she had sent me. Also asked the supervisor to let her know about this bad experience at the RX, but it has been a week and I have not been contacted yet. Also I told Angie the pharmacist to tell her boss about this bad experience. I just need to know that this situation is not going to happen again and that this lady, which I just found out her name was Jacky, will not ruin people's peace of mind again. All I want is someone to call her attention and show her how to treat patients with respect and compassion, empathy and kindness like they always do at this CVS. read more

Always an issue at this location. It didn't always work this way. But on controlled substances, they are very difficult. Always a problem. Always a wait. Always a nagging call to the doctors office. (If you happen to be lucky enough to still operate in doctor hours) I've been coming here for years off and on because of location. It's close by. If I can recommend a place its Magnolia Pharmacy. Very compassionate and caring people at Magnolia Pharmacy. I gotta give CVS a 1 star because its less on the employees, more on CVS being a corporate mega company. Absolute worst pharmacy in North America. The people who work here don't give a shit about their customers and it shows. It's not uncommon to wait 10, 20, even 30 minutes on hold. You try calling the CVS store manager and he hangs up on you (Darren) as soon as he hears it's about the pharmacy. Avoid this place at all costs. I've never been to a pharmacy where the staff could care less about helping me. They didn't carry the medication I needed but they said they might be able to get it on Friday. When I asked when they'd know for sure if they could get it Friday, they said "Friday!" They claimed the drug was hard to get, but I've filled the prescription at several other locations without incident. CVS Pharmacy is never very helpful read more

This location provides an outstanding customer service. Here was a lady cashier, who was extremely helpful and kind. I asked about lighter at the register and she just came inside the store to show me where lighters were and helped me to choose. She worked very fast and there was really short line, regardless there were a lot of people! read more

I live in the area and frequent the verdugo cvs in Burtank often. I love the reorganization and rennovations. I particulary love dealing with the cosmetics woman, Pasquelle. She is friendly and knowledgeable and has been very helpful in suggesting some products that have been great for my unruly hair. I love her energy and warmth. Great addition to the store. read more

This review is solely based on the Pharmacy. I am very disappointed with their customer service. Every time I've been in I've been herded around like cattle and have been treated like an inconvenience to the staff on hand - not the way you want to be handled when you are repetitively giving them money for a monthly subscription. My medical issues aren't life or death, but wouldn't you hope that the people handling sick patients should be friendly and comforting? Their phone prompts are not very clear and when I pressed the wrong one I was rudely told to hang up and call back in under a different number. This final straw is enough to make me chose a new drug store moving forward. read more

Horrific service. My doc called in a prescription early morning after my son was in in extreme pain. I did not get notified that prescription was ready and tried calling there numerous times only to be left on hold for 20 minutes, each time and then disconnected. After a full day of not getting through, I called the customer service number on the internet, which was even worse, transfered to 3 different people, opened a case, was told someone from corp would call the next day, still no info on our prescription, a full day of watching my son in extreme dental pain. So I finally marched down there. No one was in line, I voiced my concern like a crazy banshee at that point, no one flinched or seemed concerned after I told them of my experience. Even the pharmacist, just replied, well I didn't hang up on you, as if I had a accused her when I explained about their terrible phone system, and not having the proper amount of employees to provide decent service to all the customers they want to bring in. No one from corporate called. Are you shocked? I think this is a sick, money profit, ugly company who does care about their customers. Shame on CVS, I will go to Ralphs pharmacy moving forward. Every time I go there its really busy and there is a long wait. I got a perscription and they said they werent able to give me a discount through my insurance and then i went to Walgreens for the same antibiotic and Walgreens used my insurance. I dont like CVS Verdugo, they dont do their best to help you, they act like they are doing you a favor to sell you your meds. Walgreens doesnt act like that and they smile. I like that. read more

Worst customer service. The guy at the cashier was very unfriendly, zero courtesy. He was a complete dick to me for no reason whatsoever. I did nothing to provoke it. I think he even was a manager, name started with a D. I should give the full name. If I ever shop there again I'm going straight to kiosk. A customer service employee should treat customers with courtesy and friendly smile. It should not cause the customer to walk out unhappy because how she or he was treated. read more

Why are pharmacies always the worst? Recently, my prescriptions that were on on auto refill for years stopped being refilled. Was it the maniac pharmacist named Eugene that did this? Honestly, anytime I see that he's working there, I turnaround and leave. I'll go in a 5am and he'll be running around in a panic telling you that it's the "busiest time of day," when you're the only person in line. I just called, 7am on a Sunday, and he said the same thing. He's a total lunatic - Get rid of him or put him in a back room where he doesn't have to interact with customers. Or is it a system failure? All I know is that I'm switching pharmacies. It's sad when a place you rely on fails you time-and-time again. read more

I am writing this review because I have finally had it with this place. I visit this store out of sheer convenience because it is close to both my work and home. However, after today, I will no longer patronize this particular location. What I witnessed today both shocked and disgusted me at the same time. I went to this store today (08/24/2017 @ 17:30) in search of cold medicine. The parking lot was filthy and disgusting. When walking to and from the store I witnessed in the parking lot litter of all kinds, shopping carts strewn about, an abandoned car and blood soaked bandages. This location had really gone down hill. Several years ago I spoke to the manager about the lack of striping in the parking lot for individual parking spaces. He said that I was about the 10th person to complain but that It was not the responsibility of CVS but that of the landlord. This store is always dimly lit, shelves are often partially empty and the lack of cashiers guarantee that patrons will stand in line no matter time or day of the week. Good luck getting help finding something as there are never employees within the aisles that can help. Often, I see customers asking the pharmacy techs about where certain items can be found. CVS should be ashamed of themselves. Either corporate has not been by to perform an inspection or CVS just doesn't care. I for one am foregoing the convenience of it's location and will be for now on patronizing the competition of CVS read more

This place is okay but...Today I had three (3) items I was buying. During checkout the cashier took one of my items and looked at another cashier but did not address me and said what I thought was"we can't sell this." She proceeded, without addressing me, to ring up he other two (2) items. I said "can you not sell me that (face wash)? She was like "no" the another cashier said "it's been recalled. " my cashier mumbled to someone " we need to get the rest of those off the shelves." Before she could tell me the total I took my other two items back into the store to get more face wash. It was an odd interaction. Why did I even go in there? You essentially deleted 33% of my items with 0 explanation and without apology. I don't want people to kiss my butt but can you open your mouth and speak to me. After finding a replacement for my confiscated item I came back and waited in line again and bought a replacement face wash. There is more I could complain about but this was the highlight.
