We came in looking for some items for the Lady and could not get anyone to help us. She even went up to the counter to ask. The 2 people were trying their best to check out customers and simply could not spare the time to help us. We walked out. This is a staffing problem in our opinion, not the fault of the working folks. A couple of notes about the store. It was very clean and orderly. This is what kicks it up a star. We will be back again. Possible there were people out sick or just an off day.

This wouldn't have been a big deal last night, with the exception that I wound up here after the Circle C HEB didn't have the product in the quantity I required and didn't know the rules for Sudafed sales. Once again, RPh Lindsay waited on me. This time, she didn't have the 96 tablet generic Sudafed in stock, but did have two 48's. It's about 40% more expensive to purchase it that way, so that was not the best option. The best thing about the purchase is that Lindsay knew the rules, but to be certain, she put one box of 48 through the online verification system, and then attempted to sell the next, which went through just fine. This made all the difference between making me happy and making me frustrated. HEB didn't know the rules and chose to frustrate me out of ignorance. CVS thought they knew the rules, tried to accommodate, and succeeded. As HEB pharmacies continue to decline in knowledge, products, and service, I think I'm seeing more CVS in my drugstore future.

At the pharmacy for a flu shot.

Went to this CVS for a flu shot. Scheduled an appointment for the same day and checked in online when I got to the store. I had to wait a few minutes because there was someone who needed service at the drop off counter but it was otherwise empty and quick to get my shot. Free with my Obamacare insurance.

    Super long wait time!

Longest wait time ever experienced! Used to be a wonderful place with dedicated employees. Not anymore. Waiting in pharmacy line for over 30 minutes (one person in front of me). Seriously, 3 pharmacy employees can't help 1 customer for 30+ minutes?!

Due to its size, it has a lot less stuff than a typical Target outside the city, but having the essentials makes it perfect for getting in and out of. Shoutout connivence! RIYL: Target in da city

I only came to the 5th Street Target because it was the only place that had what I needed,a simple pen for black label for homemade gifts. I came against my better judgment, and honestly, I wish I hadn't. First off, the parking is a mess. You have to park in the garage and get validation to avoid paying $7. There's no handicap parking right in front of the elevator entrance either, which makes things way harder than it should be. I could have used street parking but didn't feel like being hassled by the men that wait in front of the store. Once I got inside, I started noticing a man, Hispanic, curly hair, maroon shirt, no name badge walking past me multiple times in different sections. First in the makeup aisle, then again when I moved to another area, and again a third time. It really felt like he was watching me, not shopping. He made me super uncomfortable. I was using the Target app to scan items and make sure I was getting the right prices. Just trying to get in and out quickly because, truth be told, I've been avoiding Target for a while now. When I checked out, one of my items rang up higher than what the app said. I went to Guest Services, showed the price on my phone, and was told I must've grabbed the wrong thing. I hadn't, I scanned it myself before adding it to my cart. All this over a few markers. I'm sticking with my boycott. I came here trying to support my own project and left feeling watched, dismissed, and frustrated.

Apparently, not realizing this page already existed. Anyway, covering all my bases and doing a review here as well. Note: I've also suggested an edit for the duplicate businesses. Ok now that is out of the way. Review time: I really love this location so much. The store is huge with wide aisles making it easy to navigate compared to the smaller stores. Even if it's crazy busy on a Sunday afternoon you can still get to the items you need with ease. The store is still very clean and of course modern since the rebuild. Employees are friendly. The shelves are stocked fully 99.999% of the time. I live extremely close to the East 7th Street store (5 min away) and opt for this location time and time again.

I love that they have a parking garage so if it's pouring down with rain, one doesn't get drenched trying to get one's vehicle with a basket load of groceries. On the ground floor, there is True Texas BBQ with ample seating. One can take the elevator or escalater up to the second floor to the supermarket. On the escalater, there is one side for you and the other side for your trolly of groceries. I have abandoned my neighborhood HEB and now patronize this one at 2400 S. Congress Ave.

Arrived in Austin late at night and needed some supplies so we moseyed on down towards this CVS…read more It's situated super close to frat houses and a bunch of bars and you can tell. It looks like the place was hit hard as there were items everywhere, there were boxes littered throughout with items meant for restocking, and the energy just felt a little tense. That being said, I think it's not too bad of a location. Super close by where my Airbnb was and close by bus station and a major road in the city. It's long but not wide and so there aren't a ton of aisles but the aisles are longish. The beginning of one aisle might have chips but by the end of it you'll be with the makeup. Cashiers are up front and there aren't a lot of self checkout lanes. Some items were locked behind a glass door but for the most part, everything was accessible without the help of employees. I didn't find my first choice for a couple of items but found my backup choice. So I'll give it a 3 star. But don't expect it to be the cleanest or most tidy

Ruby was standing to my left, looked at me, then continued with looking at her cell phone. The least she could have done was press the down button of the elevator. Instead, I did it. She boarded the elevator with me. We both went to the first floor. She was the cashier and didn't know how coupons work. She asked a male co-worker for help, causing delay in checking out. I said forget the coupon (which the pharmacist in the 2nd floor gave me). After my purchase, I told Ruby about the elevator incident, that she was more engrossed in her cell phone than providing good service. I asked her who is the supervisor of this CVS. She said she is the supervisor. What a shock. A supervisor who gives Bad customer service and who didn't know how coupons work. Negative star rating!
