This store is fairly large with a little of everything like an old Sav-On would be. It was completely remodeled about 4 years ago now but still looks Bright, and new inside. It always seems very well stocked, clean and organized. Friendly service anytime I have needed help finding something. I like CVS because they have a little bit of everything and the assortment of cosmetics, hair care and even trinkets seem to be a step above the other drug stores. I feel like a kid in a candy store when I visit this location because they have so much. However, the store itself is dreary, old, dusty smelling and run down! This location is in desperate need of a remodel! Additionally, the staff never seems happy. Just complacent, bored with a "clock-in/ clock-out" mentality! Blah! Ps. Brain dead employees who have no customer service skills. Every single CVS I've ever been to will offer to use the store card. They need to stop forcing people to do self check. If they continue, they need to add an icon to the menu..."Large item, no bagging. If you pick "Skip Bagging", an employee has to come and clear the error...every time. Soda, toilet paper, etc don't require bagging! read more

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. Not only is their check out service terrible but now their lack of stock is terrible, too. I've written to CVS corporate 3 times over the past year about the lack of staff but obviously my complaints have fallen on deaf ears seeing as things have only gotten worse. Today, I was #4 in line and, of course they only had one person working the cash register. I guess they figure no one goes to CVS at 3 o'clock on a Saturday afternoon. The guy who always wears the Mickey Mouse ties was in the photo area but he was too busy to help I guess. Must have been working on some high priority picture stuff! So I put my stuff back and left. You would think with the Fresh and Easy moving in next door in the next month or so, they'd be on their best behavior and would be trying to keep customers. To the contrary. Until Fresh and Easy opens, do yourself a favor and drive the extra 5 minutes to the Rite Aid next to Vons at Santa Ana Cyn and Imperial. They'll always have what you need and you'll be out of there in half the time it takes at CVS. read more

The best thing about the pharmacy "service" here is that it's so bad - barely intelligible employees, slow service, confusion over billing, - that they finally inspired me to sign up for my company's mail order pharmacy fulfillment. Now my prescriptions get filled quickly, delivered to my door, and I never get those annoying CVS calls that it took forever to get stopped. read more

Worst pharmacy yet I have a recurring fill and I received my text saying it was ready and am now on hr. 2 waiting for it and was just told to wait longer. I have been taking this for 21 years and have never had an issue getting it filled it is for a thyroid condition. Not sure what the issue is but I will be transferring pharmacies. read more

This has been such as awful experience. I have been waiting in the store for over an hour for my prescriptions. Apparently they sent the pharmacist on lunch break while I was waiting in the store. When Walter returned he was verbally assaultive yelling at me from across the pharmacy about how there are state regulations as far as his lunch break. Then I had to wait another 45 minutes when he came back. Totally unprofessional! He continued to tell me about his break even when he was ringing me up. read more

After receiving a Covid booster vaccine, my husband was called by staff asking if he knew the name of the person that gave him his vaccine. He said no and asked why. He was then told that the person that gave him his shot did not properly report that he was given a vaccine. He was then asked if he was sure he received one. At that point, I asked if there was a chance that he was given the wrong vaccine. He said that there was no chance of that but it certainly did not instill confidence in the correctness of the procedure. About 30 minutes after hanging up, my husband was sent a notice that his appointment was just canceled and that if he had not requested this cancellation to contact the pharmacy to ensure proper recording of the vaccination. I called and waited on hold for over 20 minutes and the call was never picked up. I finally had to call the store number and get the store staff to get the call to the pharmacy. Not happy with the incompetence here. read more

This is only about their photo center. Places my order online to have 6 pictures printed for pick up. Was given confirmation email saying they'd be done about 2 hours later. I go in about 30 min after when they were supposed to be ready. They weren't ready. The guy hasn't even started downloading my order. I told him I'd be back in 10 after grabbing food at Subway. I come back and am told that my pictures can't be downloaded. Tried to have me download their Kodak app to use with the machine and it kept freezing then restarting. Such a waste of time. Just bring in your USB, DON'T Order online!! Would have been nice to have gotten a phone call that my pictures wouldn't be ready instead of waiting around. read more

This place is horrible every single time I go there it seems like the things that I am buying are listed at the wrong price this is now the third time that I've gone there to try to purchase something and when I get to the register the price that they ring it up for is not the correct price that it was out in the store this is a big problem !!!! not everybody has unlimited funds and can just wait for the money to be refunded back to their card in 3 to 5 days some people are on a fixed income and when your employees make a mistake and don't catch it before they run the card some people are left without being able to get the stuff that they needed such as the medicine prescriptions and things like that they came for especially when it wasn't just a misplace item by another customer it is always a WHOLE ROW of items listed wrong!! read more

It's hard to take this place seriously because it doesn't take its customers seriously. There's always a line, and there's always only one checker. It's just so slow in there; it's standing around waiting to check-out, and waiting, and waiting, and waiting. It's around the corner from my house, so that's the ONLY reason I go there. Rite-Aide in Anaheim Hills isn't any better, though. I just don't understand why it's perfectly acceptable for these places to provide shitty customer service, and it's not because the prices are low! read more

Not sure why this pharmacy is so terrible. It never fails that they mess up my medications (PS these are meds I've taken without changes for YEARS). They either don't have my insurance (which also hasn't changed in years) or they try to tell me that a product isn't covered when I know for a fact it is and their justification is to point to something completely different from the same manufacturer. I have started using CVS pharmacy since May 2020. The staff & their processing is not altogether at all. One young gentleman is very rude & unprofessional. I have been coming to this location since it opened. Recently I went to pick up a few things including my meds. Then I realized I had to use the restroom! So I went to where the restroom was and I had gone many times before. To my surprise the back entrance to access the restroom was locked. So I asked the cashier for the code like normal and was told "No Public Restroom's" leave your cart and go to Subway or the market next door! Easy enough right? No, I no longer buy anything from CVS period! No Alcohol, Meds, Vitamins and almost every darn holiday decoration! I'm sure CVS bathrooms will stay cleaner now? My hubby has been complaining and complaining since we started using this pharmacy, in August. They never have his rx ready on time and sometimes it's wrong. Now, I have had it. There is NO way we are using this place again. I'm really pissed. We'll drive back to Placentia and he can continue to use CVS on Yorba Linda but I'll go back to Walgreen's. I brought my prescription back to the pharmacy today to inform them that there was no seal on my bottle AND it was about 2oz short. I have been using this product for years and It always has a pull tab seal and is full to the top. First, the clerk acting as if I was lying. Wish I immediately reacted to and then she opened another bottle on the shelf to show me there is no pull tab seal. Then she just walked away. I yell at her that I wasn't finished speaking to her but she ignored me. I refuse to be treated like that any where. If I ever heard y mother being spoken to like that, she'd be begging for her job back. But, I just walked out. I'll call and file a complaint with the company on Monday. Our family figured that the not so hot svs the first time we filled a prescription was due to an off day. Not the case. The customer service has been below satisfactory the almost 2 years since. We will never fill a prescription there again, between the language barrier, and the fact that on many occasions our prescription was never ready when the pharmacist said it would be, to them on many occasions misspelling either our names correctly, and inputting insurance information wrong almost every time. I used to go here ALL the time when it was Sav-On. Great store layout, wonderful staff! SO convinient..... Then CVS came in and everything completely fell apart. I had gotten so frustrated that I boycotted it for almost one year until my wife got pregnant and needed frequent medication. The place is SO convinient that I started going back there and it is still a COMPLETE MESS!!!! Long lines, inept staff. I am talking to the pharmacy as I write this and they are a mess as well. I called a prescription in last Saturday and the stuff is still not in!!! A pharmacist said they ordered the stuff and it is now sitting in the receiving dock but no one has unpacked it so call back later tonight or you know what, call us tomorrow and maybe it will be ready. WTF...glad I do not have a life or death situtation!! Stay away.....whoever the owner is of this property should put in a Trader Joes, Starbucks, Nail Salon and some small restaurants, sit back and enjoy the cash flow. Blech! Where do I begin? First of all, I never got over the change-over from savon, and how they lied about lower prices. I remember at the time writing down prices of things we bought frequently, and then comparing them a few months after it turned into a cvs, while the "New Lower Prices" banners were still flailing around in the wind, and it was total BS, the prices were higher. Second, all they did was add some carpet and move stuff around, emphasis on the "some". You can still see where savon's isles used to be. They never fixed this problem. The manager is rude to me, and anyone else under the age of 30. Specifically it's the man who looks to be in his late 40's or 50's. I've never been anything but polite to him, but still, he refuses to be nice. Dijon is nice, we've known her for years, but the rest of the staff are very lazy and will run if they see you coming. Yes they would rather get an intense cardio workout then tell us where something is. They have a horrible selection of certain items. Certain things are always in different places, and anything that's not food or beauty supply, is terrible quality. ESPECIALLY their batteries. NEVER buy CVS batteries, there's a reason they're 5 bucks cheaper than duracell or energizer. I'm probably forgetting some stuff too, since I've been going less and less as time goes on. read more

They carry the essentials and some i like it it's the only place open on my way to work at 7 and it closes at 10 it's clean, gets busy at times I just don't like how slow the cashiers can be at times the line has gotten long and workers just seem to work slower or maybe it's me being in a rush. read more

Convenience is the only reason that I frequent this store. The star is for convenience... I am really not sure what the issue is with drug stores and customer service but it is pretty standard that you will not receive it at most of them-this store is no exception. This store is located in the same center as an assisted living residence and they get a ton of business from these folks in the pharmacy and the store. I cannot tell you one time, in the 20 years that I have lived in the canyon that I have not had to wait at least 10 minutes or more to be checked out at the pharmacy or the front checkout lanes. It is ridiculous-you walk in and there are always 5 people in line for one register. The call for help and nobody comes. When they do come up, it is like you inconvenienced them. I feel so bad for the elderly ones that walk across the lot to get their items and have to wait forever. Service for the pharmacy here fluctuates from really bad to really good. Sometimes I end up waiting up to 30 minutes for a simple prescription refill, but today I was able to get through a line of 6 or 7 people and grab my medication in under 10 minutes. read more

And it only gets 1 star because the clerks that work there are nice and try to be helpful...but are woefully uninformed of their store.. And that is management's fault. EVERYTIME I have to come to this CVS (and I try to avoid if it all possible..but damn convenience wins out).. I have to ask where something is...tootpicks...lighter fluid..flicker lighters..and they NEVER know where they are located. One manager told me they do not carry lighter fluid...only to have a helpful clerk said she was sure they did and help me find it.
