Did a takeout order which they called me to tell me was going to be a bit late as they just put the chicken in to cook. Thought that was very considerate of them to do. Takeout order consisted of chicken, sweet plantains, tostones, yucca and Chaufa Aeropuerto. Everything was cooked fresh and nothing was greasy or too salty. The Chaufa Aeropuerto was so good with the green sauce. Can't have dinner without dessert. Tried Combinado Mazamora con Arroz con leche for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. We were in the area and hungry. So, I looked on Yelp for a good place to eat lunch. We were very happy with everything. The place is small and only has a few tables. We got a whole chicken that comes with two sides. We chose the rice and beans and salad. Everything was delicious. I love their green sauce. We also got ceviche and liked it a lot. We were really too full, but I wanted to try a dessert, so we got one to go. We got their rice pudding mixed with this purple rice pudding thing that I don't remember the name of. My daughter and I are always on the hunt for good Peruvian food after moving to LI from queens. This place is tiny and can be missed if you don't pay attention but luckily we did! Their lomo was so good and despite the name not salty. There was a perfect amount of sauce, not soaking but not dry and the meat was perfect, not fatty or too thick to chew. This place is amazing, best Peruvian place in the area for sure. My usual favorites are tallarin verde, ceviche and empanadas. Love the tostones with guacamole, rice & beans, yuca, and salsas (love the purple olive salsa). The cheese empanada is salty and fresh, the chicken empanada is so delicious with fresh chunks of meat inside I died. Also just tried the mazamorra con arroz con leche and it blew my mind a bit. I was very dissatisfied with the food. I ordered an "aeropuerto" (a Peruvian dish) and didn't read the description because, as a Peruvian, I know what that dish is like. But when they brought it to the table, the first thing that caught my attention was that it didn't have noodles and it had broccoli. I asked the waitress and she said that's how they serve it. To me, it was just a beef fried rice. My wife ordered salchipapas (fries with sausage), and the potatoes were too big and too much for the small portion of hot dog. read more

I walked in for dinner and was seated immediately. I had a quarter chicken combo which came with a side; I opted for the house salad which included a few slices avocado. The combo is listed for $12 before tax and tip. Chicken was juicy and nicely seasoned. Not spicy with some smokiness coming through. It came with a savory and super delicious green sauce. I'd use that sauce for anything. Service was kind and the food was ready super quick. There are a couple tables for twos and a couple for doors fours, so it's better for small groups. This tiny little place filled me with joy. I LOVE Peruvian food...and this place deliver on all counts. Generous portions...perfectly seasoned and cooked. The ceviche was as perfect as it could get, and our shrimp and beef heart dishes ere just amazing. Nothing pretentious about their food. We were greeted upon entering & ordered avocado and tostones, papa a la huanacaina, classic ceviche, quarter chicken with fried yuca, and chicha morada. The drinks aren't on the menu, but I saw a photo of chicha morada on Yelp and knew I had to order it! The waitress allowed us to sample the chicha morada before ordering a glass of it. She explained that it had antioxidants and was made of purple corn, pineapple juice, cinnamon, lime and Granny Smith apples pieces. So delicious. Definitely ordering this every time I come here. For the tostones, the avocado portion was super super generous. The ceviche was beautifully plated with a flower, fried plantain chip, corn, sweet potato, and lime. The quarter chicken was super flavorful & extra good with the green sauce. The fried yuca was crisped to perfection. They also had a wall for taking photos along with a selfie light and phone holder. This restaurant is such a cute addition to Lynbrook. It's a small space, maybe like 12-15 seats in the entire place but it was pretty empty when we went on a Sunday afternoon. They were easily able to seat 5 of us by adding an extra table to ours & service was friendly/fast. I'm not an expert on Peruvian food but everything here was fresh & delicious. From the chicken to the seafood, everyone enjoyed their meals. They have a delicious seafood platter that we shared and everyone loved it. Visited this quaint Peruvian spot. The food was delicious for appetizers we had avocado & tostones & cheese & chicken empanadas. For the main I had Chaufa Aeropuerto with steak which is a Peruvian twist on Chinese food. Delicious & a big portion. We also tried the Lomo Saltado which was marinated strips of skirt steak sautéed with onions, tomatoes, and signature spices. Layered with French fries and served with white rice. The service was great as the staff gave us suggestions on food & a homemade drink called Chicha Morada which was phenomenal. There is a selfie area to take pictures & the corn with green dipping sauce was out of this world. I gave 4 stars as it was a small shop & no alcohol, which I should've checked before if that was what I wanted. However the food was definitely 5 stars. I had the fish sandwich. It was tasty. Fish was crispy and hot. Bread had the right amount of toastiness. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because although it was good, it wasn't worth $15. For $15, I needed fries or a side or something. I really enjoyed what the sandwich was dressed with, the pricing was just a little off for me. No issues with the service. Typical fast casual service. This review is overdue as I dined at Cuzco 41 a month or two ago and was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience from beginning to end. We were greeted by Briana as soon as we arrived, and she answered some of our questions and chatted with us for a bit. She was so welcoming and made us feel at home. Then our food came. I had the lomo saltado while my wife ordered the avocado & tostones and baby, It was love at first bite! My wife enjoyed her food so much she took a chance and ordered the pollo saltado. Side note: she does not often eat meat because she has specific texture and seasoning requirements but cuzco hit all the bases for her. Thanks to Yelp, this new, local restaurant popped up in my notification feed. After seeing the reviews on this platform, I decided to give Cuzco 41 a try (for delivery) and was not disappointed! I ordered the Chaufa Aeropuerto (with beef) and it was excellent! To my pleasant surprise, the fusion of the Chinese-Peruvian flavors had a strikingly welcomed taste to that of Chinese-Trinidadian cuisine. The entree was freshly made, well-seasoned, and bountiful in portion size (enough for 3 servings). Wonderful place! Went for a sit down dinner there with my wife. Restaurant offers take out and sit down (note the restaurant has only about 12-16 seats). We shared the ceviche which was delicious and then had a chicken and rice dish and also the steak with fries. Both were delicious and the portion size allowed us to take some home to enjoy for lunch the next day.
