    Beef hearts

Now this is my idea of good Peruvian food. Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon. There was a street fair right outside, but that didn't deter other patrons from coming in and the place was nearly full. We were seated immediately and brought menus. We sat close to the counter and the kitchen. Prime location if you ask me! We were often checked on and our food came out very quickly. I ordered the Peruvian grilled chicken. It was paired with an avocado salad and fried potato. The salad was good. Had iceberg, carrots, cabbage, radishes, and tomatoes (which I omitted,) with a few slices of avocado. The dressing was addicting, to say the least. I kept taking the pieces of delicious, moist, tender grilled chicken, and putting it in top of the salad with the yummy dressing. It was soooo good. Portion was huge. I barely made a dent in it. My boyfriend ordered the anticuchos (sorry about the spelling) also known as beef hearts. They were very good. He also ordered the potatoes covered in cheese, which he always orders at Peruvian restaurants, and he loved it. Lunch for two, with leftovers, came to $33. Super reasonable and worth every penny!

Came here after work with my wife and daughter. I was very hungry. It was 15 minutes before closing as per their advertised hours. I would have been happy to sit and eat or take to go. All the lights were on. Big neon signs lit OPEN. There were several PEOPLE SITTING AT TABLES EATING. When I walked in, a lady very quickly said sorry we're closed. She could have apologized and offered food to go. Or a glass of water. Anything. Horrible service. I've never been there before and I'll never go again.

The food is decent, but the owner has a nasty attitude! This will be my last time I support this business.

Milford's restaurant week was happening, and Costa Peru was on my list, so I decided to go there. My family ordered seafood, while I went with the Peruvian Chicken Wings topped with Peruvian Barbecue sauce, Ceviche Chicken Wings, and Lomo Salado. I was particularly curious about the Ceviche wings because I'd never heard of them before. The ceviche sauce is inspired by Aji Limo Ceviche, a lively Peruvian dish featuring fresh, raw white fish like sea bass or flounder "cooked" in lime juice, seasoned with citrusy, spicy Aji Limo peppers, red onions, and cilantro. It's usually served with sweet potato, corn, and leche de tigre (tiger's milk), offering a tart, spicy, and refreshing flavor. The Ceviche wings were fantastic. They had a bright citrus kick, and I could taste all the distinct flavors, including the spices and chilies. They really hit the spot. The barbecue wings were just as enjoyable, with a sweet yet tangy sauce and perfectly seasoned chicken. The Lomo Salado was also a hit; the rice was fluffy and full of flavor, and the tender Lomo meat practically melted in my mouth. For dessert, I ordered the flan. It was my first time trying it, and I was curious about the taste. Honestly, I didn't care much for the texture, but I'm glad I gave it a shot. My son picked the Passion Fruit Cheesecake, which was pretty good. It's not something I'd order again, but I'm glad I tried it. The service was excellent, and I'm definitely looking forward to returning and trying more dishes from the menu.

I love this bc it seems like the Peruvian version of Korean Army Stew . Really delicious fried rice/fries - very crispy/not oily; really perfectly roasted/seasoned roast chicken! Really friendly, helpful server; dying to try the gelato balls for dessert!

Definitely need a reservation for Friday night. I've been going to the locations in the city before but I'm so glad they opened one up here. The drinks were delicious we tried the watermelon margarita, passionfruit sour, virgin Pina colada, and brisa de Lima. Made very well. For apps we got the grilled octopus and Nikkei ceviche. The grilled octopus came with two delightful sauces and some grilled mini potatoes. It was tender and flavorful. The Nikkei was like Peruvian tuna poke but I wish it was a little less salty. For mains we went all out. We got the matador combo and an arroz con mariscos and a full platter of jalea. It was enough food for 6 people with quite a bit left over. One of the standouts we never expected was the seafood rice.. the sauce it came in was rich and complex and creamy. Not like a paella, more like a risotto.. that was finished quickly everyone loved it. For the matador combo it is a huge amount of food. The chicken was standout juicy and came with a ton of sides like avocado salad, rice and beans, tostones, and salchipapas and fries. It was all really good and can fill up your party. The other fun food was the jalea, it's a fried mix seafood platter. I enjoyed the seafood used they had a mix of white fish, baby squid, calamari, clams, and yucca fries, all drizzled with this light but umami filled criolla salsa, which is a mix of red onions corn garlic and yumminess. Everyone was stuffed. Finally we had cake that I night and the cappuccinos we ordered were good as well. And the bill wasn't too crazy for 6 people with drinks. The only annoying part was that the roof was a bit drippy it rained and I felt occasionally drips of water on my head..

The lomo saltado is also very good and flavorful. Not pictured is camarones cuzco. Its an amazing shrimp dish in a aji amarillo sauce. The service can be slow when its busy. It also gets very loud.
