This was the worst company I've ever worked with. The man who came to clean the carpets was rude and unprofessional. First thing he did was spray the carpets, my walls, wood floor and base trim with solution. When I saw it running down the walls of my new home, I asked why he sprayed it everywhere instead of just the carpets. His response? He showed me how he was doing it and sprayed the damn wall again - really?? I had to get rags and wipe everything down. Then as he's cleaning the carpets, he's leaving huge puddles of water on the wood floors. Never bothered to wipe those up. He's in and out of the house and leaves the front door wide open even when he was back in the house. His final gift to us was the residual dirt and soapy water in the driveway and street in front of our house. What a guy. I called the office and left a message asking to speak to someone, but I've never received a call back. If something sounds too good to be true ($99 for 6,000 square feet), it is. read more

Purchased a groupon well you get what you pay for. I have my carpets cleaned regularly. Coupon states can only lift up to 50 lbs. Justin would not move any items. I had to vacuum carpet and move items myself needless to say I was unable to move much. I think at appointment setting it should have been made clear that I was expected to move furniture and vacuum the carpet because had I know I would have canceled the groupon. Not what I wanted or expected. read more

We had Jesse out and he did a terrific job. I added on a chair that he really worked on, explaining it may not come out as clean as I would like it. It was not brand new but looked so much cleaner as all of my carpets looked. I would highly recommend Curtis E Carpet! read more

Services such as carpet cleaning have become the norm on sites such as Living Social and Groupon...these businesses, no matter what time of the year, always seem to be running specials. However, not all carpet cleaners are GOOD. And often, you get what you pay for which is a mediocre job that is done in 15 minutes with just steam. Curtis-E Carpet was RIGHT ON TIME (9am) and the technician did a very thorough job throughout the home and did his best to get the pet stains out that are in our living room floors. He was very friendly and took pride is his work and enjoyed his job. If this technician represents all the company, then I say Curtis-E Carpet is one of the best in the business is worth every penny, even without a discount. If you do go with them, ask for Justin N. to be your tech if possible. He is excellent and super friendly! read more

Our cleaner arrived in a timely manner. Inspected the area and gave us feedback and suggestions. Our carpets were clean in no time. They dried quickly too! Our place looked great! read more

Woohoo, really, as good as it gets. Very easy to get scheduled and the women on the phone was prompt and efficient. Tech showed up on time, was extremely courteous and very knowledgeable about how things looked and what would be needed to get things done. Got done in the amount of time mentioned and the carpets look, smell, and feel like a million bucks. Will use them every time going forward. read more

Jim came and cleaned house, our carpet had not been cleaned in at least 3 years! The carpet is so clean, no chemical smell, moved all the furniture he could lift- a very thorough! Will be keeping him on the phone and will be referring him out. Easy to schedule, arrived on time, worked hard! read more

Jesse arrived 10 minutes early, which really impressed me right away. He was going to do a lot of stretching of our carpet, and did an absolutely fantastic job. Very professional, polite, and knowledgeable ! After doing all the carpet stretching, he cleaned both the upstairs and downstairs, and this included the stairs. We are extremely happy, and would highly recommend this company to you. Thanks!!! read more

I cannot believe what a great job Curtis-E Carpet Cleaning did in my apartment yesterday. Our carpets are very old and extremely stained with beverage spills, pet stains, and more, and we since our last carpet cleaner wasn't able to get many of them out we had to live with the fact that they were going to be there forever. We were wrong! CECC got pretty much everything out and only took 45 minutes for my large living area. Not only that, but I only paid $60 plus tip because of the Groupon. Very pleased! read more

I don't usually leave reviews, but I feel this deserves one. My carpets haven't been professionally cleaned in about 5 years and had food stains. It was very easy to schedule and technician called me to let me know he was running a bit late. Chris was very professional , explained the process, pricing, etc - very upfront. Not only he was professional, he's also very friendly. He offered to use a different machine in my family room because it was the one worst situation and honestly it needed more help. He explained the price and the difference and I am really glad I took it. My carpets look brand new and smell wonderful! I'd most definitely recommend and use them again. read more

What a great experience! We're getting ready to put our house on the market, so needed to get our carpets cleaned. Making the appointment was easy, Mark showed up early, was super friendly and informative, and then did a wonderful job. The carpets look brand new - very clean and smell amazing. Also, he did it all in such a quick amount of time. When we move into our new home, we'll definitely call Curtis-E Carpet Cleaning, and ask for Mark again. read more

I honestly take very poor care of my carpets, there are stains all over them. I haven't had them cleaned since the day I moved in (almost 2 years ago). However my son just started crawling and I knew something had to be done with them. I called curtis e carpet cleaning and got an appointment within the week. The technician seemed very knowledgable and experienced. He got every stain and flaw removed in no time at all, and the pet odors have vanished! I will definitely be calling them again! read more

Worst job ever. All spots returned. Couldn't even bother to go behind recliner. Not like when prior owner had it. If I could give less than one star, I would. Do not use these people!!! read more

First time having carpets cleaned, and Luis from Curtis-E did a very professional job. He called an hour ahead of the appointment and said he could be 30 minutes early, which was fine. Took just 45 minutes or so and the carpets look great! I would use them again and recommend them. Heard of them from Groupon for $90, and it was well worth it! read more

I had my whole house cleaned on Wednesday. What a fantastic company. Carlos is a wonderful employee who takes pride in his work and who he works for. Carlos introduced himself, asked to come in and review how he could help and took the time to talk about his work. My carpets are beautiful. A great professional job done well. I used a groupon for this and did Carlos did a great job adding a few item, without pressure and believe me I'm a hard sell. I'll definitely call them next year, and ask for Carlos. Thank you Curtis E Carpet Cleaning. read more

I've used this company twice now (both times with a Sharing Spree). They are great! Friendly, punctual, and hardworking, not to mention a total bargain. I will use them again in the future. read more

Very unprofessional. Rude sarcasm. Inappropriate jokes. Released all the dirty water on my property which got all over my grass. Would never use this company again. read more

I bought Curtis-E's carpet cleaning deal on Living Social. I have 2 small bedrooms, one of which was empty at the time of cleaning and the other pretty much empty - so this was an easy job. Paid a little extra to get the deodorizer. The technician came around noon on Friday, and informed me that this was his last job before the weekend and was hoping to get off early that day - and twenty minutes later he was done! Clearly it was not a thorough job, don't feel like the carpets got a whole lot cleaner, and actually think the technician made spots that were not there previously - I couldn't tell at the time of cleaning, but as soon as the carpets dried, it was apparent that not a lot of cleaning was done. Bummer. When they arrived, I offered my laundry basin as a place to put all the dirty water, but the technician said that they were totally self-sufficient. However, at the end of the service, they opened the door to they van, and opened the machine to dump all of the dirty water in my street - letting it flow to the sewer grate! What????? Totally irresponsible. I am not impressed at all. read more

I called last minute, they were booked but put me on a wait list. They were able to schedule me in early, within 2 days of calling. My carpets look great! Jim did a fantastic job! Sharlene read more

I very rarely write reviews, but I felt I had to after the great service we just got from Curtis E Carpet Cleaning! Mark, the gentleman who did the work was outstanding! I wasn't feeling too good, and stuck in bed from a minor surgery when he arrived and I was a bit nervous about having someone else going thru and cleaning our house. But he was very professional, easy to talk to and did a wonderful job. He was very efficient and friendly and made my carpets look new again! We also have a couple little one's and 2 furry critters as well, so needless to say our carpets were in need of a good cleaning, because it had been at least a couple of years since I last had them cleaned. He did such a wonderful job they looked almost new again when he was done! Anyway I just wanted to say thanks to Mark and Curtis E for doing such a great job! I would highly recommend them if you need your carpets cleaned by someone you can trust... Bill J read more

Bought a Sharing Spree for this, worst use of money in a long time. I will be writing a letter of complaint to the company and filing one with the Better Business Bureau, if they are affiliated. The service was horrible, with excessive drying time and the merchant added on an additional $135 in charges that only made the problem areas worse. $244 for carpets that look WORSE then when they started. I will never use this company again, will do all I can to warn others away and strongly suggest that you do not use their services. read more

Levi was kind, courteous of my animals and allowed me time to find my rogue kitty and secure him away before he got started. He was able to lift an awful, large stain in my living room. I wish the carpets weren't so wet for so long afterwards but that is minor compared to how nice they look! read more

I had a Sharing Spree for up to 6,000 sq ft in carpet cleaning so I was a bit nervous on how it would turn out. From the very first call, the people were professional and got me an appointment within a week. Our carpets got out stains other carpet cleaners missed- they were quick, nice, and carpets dried by the time I was home from work. Would recommend! read more

I would highly recommend Curtis Carpet Cleaning. Chris cleaned my carpet, was very clear what he was doing, the options if I would like them and very, very courteous and friendly. The carpets are beautiful and were dry within hours. I could not have asked for a better company to deal with, and at a great rate!! I will definitely be calling them back again. LK read more

I had this company in to clean carpets in my 2200 sq foot house, including 13 stairs. My adult son let the technician in to start the job. He was done with the job in just over 1 hour. I know for a fact no cleaning solutions were used on the carpet as there was no clean, fresh scent when I came in after he left, also there were still spots on the rugs in several rooms that I had to clean with my own carpet cleaner. When I complained the best they could offer was for the same technician to come back a week later and reclean them. That wasn't acceptable to me. Who wants the same person back in your home after you complained about their work? read more

They did a great job cleaning my carpets....they looked brand new. I have a 4500 sq. ft house and got a smoking good deal through Sharing Spree...Curtis E said if I keep my receipt they would honor the price if I used them again! On time, thorough job, and even remembered to do the landing in the garage. I like that there is no scent left behind too!

I just had carpet cleaned by Curtis E Carpet Cleaning. What a great job. . . Justine was our technician. . .he called when he was on his way, arrived a few minutes early, and was in and out in less than 90 minutes! He was friendly, careful, efficient and our carpets look great! read more

I purchased an Amazon deal for this company and what a waste of money and time that was! They left a big spot on the newest carpet in my house and then asked for my feedback by email. I was honest about it and they sent the technician back. He was so rude to my husband, saying "really? This is why i came back? Do you realize how much it costs in gas and time?" He was so incredibly rude and still did a lousy job. Run, don't walk, away from this company! read more

Justin from Curtis-E Carpet Cleaning is just now pulling out of my driveway and I was so pleased with the results I came to write the review right away. This is the second time Curtis-E has cleaned our carpets. The first time (a few years ago) the results were fine enough--the technician seemed to have his mind elsewhere, but it was still satisfactory. Today, Justin arrived ahead of schedule (he called first to make sure that worked for us) and was friendly and professional from the very beginning to the very end. It was clear that he took his job personally and really worked hard to make our carpets spotless. I hate our white carpet (2 cats, 2 dogs, 2 kids in a place where it rains 10 months of the year--white carpets are a nightmare), can't wait to replace it, but now I'm actually proud of it. We should have a party--invite people over--quick! Anyway, he was knowledgeable, professional, and did an excellent job. Very happy customers--thank you! read more

Professional, on-time, and did an excellent job!!! Ask for Justin!!! He was really good to work with.

I bought a Living Social deal for whole house carpet cleaning. I have a two year old carpet that had some heavy traffic areas, nothing major. The guy came out and barely even vacuumed the carpets - it took him less than an hour to clean the carpet in my entire two story house. The carpets looked exactly the same when he was done, so I called Curtis E Carpet and they sent out Jim, who was more thorough and very personable, and the carpet did look better, but when he left huge brown spots appeared all over the carpet. I was very sick at the time, so I didn't call back right away, but waited a few weeks when I was better. I've called numerous times and left numerous messages and haven't heard back from them at all. I'm very disappointed. My carpet looks worse than before it was cleaned, and now I'm worried that it's ruined. read more

Ordered this $99 Groupon and used it about a month later. My husband and I prepared the entire house beforehand. We took out all extra scatter rugs, moved the easy furniture out of the way, etc. They called and asked if they could come early, and the man arrived about a half hour earlier than they were supposed to. First, there was no pre-vacuuming done. He went around the house and sprayed some sort of chemical on some stains, but not all of them. None if the stains were scrubbed out. We have a 1700 square-foot house, and Groupon was for 6,000 sq. ft. He used some sort of air freshener on carpets as a "freebie." He then continued to clean the carpets and left about 1 hour 15 minutes later. Most of the stains remained in the carpet and the next day after the carpets were fairly dry, I could see that it was a very poor job with miserable results. I would not recommend them at all. You get what you pay for. Carpets were very wet, took at least 24 hours to dry, and non-carpeted areas were very wet. He did not wipe away any if the excess water on the floors. You need to be very specific on what you expect from a carpet cleaning service. Next time I will call a truly professional carpet-cleaning service, and not a rip-off service like this place is! If I could give them a Zero Rating, I would have!!! read more

From start to finish, I have appreciated my experience with Curtis-E! Setting up an appointment was easy with their scheduler and she called to remind us the day before the appointment. Jake called on his way, arrived on time, professional and got right to it! He didn't try to pressure me to buy a lot of additional services but was thorough and helpful. Overall, a very good experience & I would certainly hire them again. read more
