Amazing!!!! Why are there so many angry unhappy reviews???? Chris came to my house PROMPTLY at my scheduled time. He called 30 minutes before notifying me of my appointment with a lot of humor. He did a walk through of the house first and explained everything he was doing. I paid an extra $30 for oxi boost and I think it made a HUGE difference. Chris was courteous, funny, friendly and kind. He worked relatively quickly for my house which is 2100sq but not everything was carpeted. I'd say 1000 sq is carpeted. He finished within 1.5 ish hours and gave me tips to get the carpet to dry faster. He scrubbed the carpet within an inch of its life but brought all my carpet back to life! Omg it's SO clean! I opted out of doing the stairs because I don't really care about my stairs but if I wanted to add those it it would have been an additional cost which slips my mind now. I highly recommend this company but would specifically ask for Chris! He worked so hard to get my carpets as clean as anyone would want them. Now for some before and after photos! Note, I took these photos almost immediately after he finished so they are still mildly damp so I assume they will only brighten up MORE as they dry! Yassssssssss people, get on it. Get some clean carpet in your house now! read more

Left an email through their site on a Sunday, received a message the next day on Monday on my cellphone. Scheduled it for today, Friday 6/12/20. Levi was here promptly at 9 AM with his mask on due to COVID. I needed the pet treatment due to my Boston terrier puppy accidents. He explained the process to me and did a great job covering the areas and doing the job. Would recommend! read more

Chris, from Curtis-E Carpet Cleaning, came to our house today and did a wonderful job. He was very personable, efficient, and performed excellent work. Aside from being an Oregon Ducks Fan, he was the perfect person to clean our carpets :-) Next year, we are definitely going to request Chris by name to do our house's yearly carpet cleaning. The company as a whole was very easy to schedule and work with and we highly recommend them. read more

We have hired Curtis E Carpet Cleaning twice. The first time was awesome, with Chris, so we asked for him a second time and the service was even better. We appreciate the low base price and we gladly agreed to reasonable incremental charges for stairs and extra services such as furniture cleaning. Our house is very clean now, our carpets dried quickly, thanks in part for the fans they ran after each room was finished, I have used many different companies for carpet cleaning and Curtis E is our new go-to. read more

Basic Groupon was $67.50 for baking soda water cleaning. They insisted for an upcharge oxi clean additive for $100, then sterilization for $120 and stain protection for another $120. I approved the upgrade for the oxi clean so I paid total $167.50 and after they left I tested the carpet using water and my own suction cleaner and solid dark brown water came out. Management will not respond to my complaints. read more

Admin people are organized, the cleaner Livi was very polite and did great job. The carpet was much drier than other companies I had used before. Their charge for the pet order removal was very fair. I would definitely recommend them! read more

Good prices and great service. Levi did an awesome job and worked really hard. He was helpful and friendly. He warned me beforehand that he might not be able to get my couch clean, but he did and I was thrilled! I highly recommend Curtis-E Carpet Cleaning. read more

When my tenant moved out of my rental, I needed the whole house's carpets cleaned, so a friend - who also has a rental - referred me here. She said they'd clean my whole 1,500 sq feet house for the $99 Groupon price. That had me sold! This company keeps busy, so I took the day-time cancellation appointment they had available and had my mom go to unlock the house, since I would be at work. The employee was early and very friendly, she said. After checking the place out, he offered to remove the dog smell for $30. I opted not to, because the smell was faint and I figured it'd be gone once the rooms were cleaned and fresh paint was on the walls. While he did an good job on the large, front room, one bedroom still had gooey candy on the floor, which we were able to scrub out, after he'd left. The orange Kool-aid stain had to be removed by a professional stain remover. Another room had a large spot of white candle wax dripping in one area. We were also able to remove that with an iron and napkins. Dog hair was pretty evident too, which we vacuumed up. None of these things were mentioned by him, which we'd have thought he'd offer to remove for a small additional fee. That said, I don't know if he cleaned every room, like I'd been told he would because we were away while he cleaned and we paid - on the assumption that he did. Not that this would deter me from using this company again. Next time though, I will be sure to clarify that all the rooms are being cleaned and I will inspect them before paying. read more

I am extremely happy with the results of my carpet cleaning with Curtis-E Carpet Cleaning. The customer service was excellent from beginning to end. The office staff was so helpful and responsive and Levi, who came to clean the carpets was a true professional and also very likeable. He was happy to explain the process and answer any questions and he never made me feel like I was putting him out or taking up his time. Levi did an excellent job on the carpets. I will be requesting him every time I call on Curtis-E and I definitely will be using them again. With so many companies out there who lack integrity - It's so nice to be able to have this kind of confidence in a company and it's service provider! MAX STARS!!!!!! read more

Got 2 condos cleaned. They show up on time. Clean and professional. Left my carpet smell like citrus!

I am very disappointed in my experience with Curtis E-Carpet. I used them before and they did a good job so I tried again. I was quoted $80 for 3 bedrooms. When the guy arrived he said it would be an additional $80 if we wanted the carpets to actually be cleaned with the necessary solutions. Otherwise, it would be cleaned with seltzer water. WHAT??? Why not just be upfront with the cost? My husband was frustrated and said no. I had to move all our things off the ground to get ready for it and now I am just left with wet dirty carpets. Thanks for nothing. read more

A few days ago I took the ketchup bottle out of the fridge. I went to shake it up and the lid flew off and ketchup went from one end of the kitchen to the other. What a mess. I cleaned it up and then found it had gone over the counter and was all over the carpet in the hallway. Ugh. We gave it a try, but it was a mess that no amount of elbow grease was going to solve. So I sat down looking at carpet cleaners that could come finish cleaning up the mess. Curtis E to the rescue. Curtis showed up on time and went right to work. Tonight I have a clean carpet that looks and smells better than new. And now the whole mess is just a memory. Thanks Curtis E Carpet Cleaning. read more

One of a kind business. Started off with good contact before service, including reminder calls and 'I'm on my way' call from our Cleaner, Chris. Chris was very friendly and took the extra time to make a plan for our specific needs.. where the stains were, which rooms to skip, etc. He discussed what was needed and allowed us to make the choice. He did not push add-ons or extras. During the service, Chris worked around our family and pet like we were his own. Very professional but courteous and knowledgeable. When he was finishing up he gave us tips on carpet care and reviewed the work order with us. We were very happy with both the job and with the cost. We have used Curtis for many years and they just keep getting better and are always looking for ways to better serve the customer. Love them! read more

I love writing great reviews of companies. This is one of those times. I purchased a Groupon for carpet cleaning after reviewing the experiences of others - and I'm happy to report that when I had my carpets cleaned by Curtis-E, they exceeded my expectations. The Groupon was for a whole-house at $99. When Luis showed up, I mentioned that I had two large wool area rugs which I was also going to have cleaned later; he told me he'd do the first one for free (it was already in-place), and the second one for $40. I couldn't have rented a Rug Doctor for that price, and he did a STELLAR job on the 'woolies'!! $139 for the whole house plus area rugs is something unbelievable. I'm sure they're doing these deals to break into the residential market (they already do a lot of commercial work) - and with work like theirs, they'll have a thriving residential business in no time. Highly recommended! read more

It had been 4 years since we had our carpets cleaned and they were bad! I can't remember the name of the guy that came out, but he did an excellent job. He even called and asked if he could come early! He spent nearly a half-hour getting up a red/orange soda stain, that I thought was never going to come up. It was short of a miracle. Plus he spent extra time in a room that was trashed by a roommate, and it looks near perfect too. It took about 2 hours for approximately 1700 sq ft. A few cat vomit stains did not come up, but the coupon said it was NOT for pet stains, so that must need a different solvent. But many of them DID come up even with the regular $99 cleaning. Only suggestion I would make, is to put something soft/cushioned on the hoses where they make contact and rub against the baseboard trim and walls. read more

Just used their services (via a Groupon). Paid $99 for up to 6000sq ft (I think) - but we only had probably 1500 sq ft of carpeted areas. They were easy to contact and had super friendly customer service. Overall - quick, efficient and priced well. read more

I'm not sure what kind of person regularly gets their carpets cleaned and expects that the cleaner will also move your furniture and vacuum for you, but the service I got with Curtis-E was great, and I would definitely hire them again. I did my own vac and moving items, and was still doing that when he arrived, but there was no issue there, he just started at the other end of the house. I upgraded for the $50.00 rotating brush heads, and I'm glad I did. My carpets probably hadn't been cleaned in the entire 7 years the previous owner lived there, and they got 99% of the grime and staining out-my carpet went from dust bunny grey to fluffy generic beige and it took less than 2 hours for about 1400 sq ft. They did call and want to come early, but I wasn't available early on such short notice (called at 2 about coming early to an appointment at 3... I still had a kid to pick up). The guy didn't seem too thrilled with that, but the job was so well done I don't think I have much room to complain, especially using a Groupon. He was pleasant when he arrived, and it was worth every penny. I've used another local service-no groupon, and didn't get anywhere close to this quality. I did let my carpets dry overnight, he said every carpet is different and some take longer than others. Opening windows definitely helped but there was NO chemical smell. read more

Thank you, I would like to say that I have used your services many times and have always been very happy, and will definitely be recommending you to anyone who needs carpet cleaning. I feel like you charge a very fair price and do a great job, always are on time and are done quickly! I have even tried another company at 3-4 times what you charge, (I was on a time crunch and couldn't get an appointment with you) and found that you do a superior job. thank you for keeping your prices fair, so that carpet cleaning doesn't clean out my bank account too! Also your employee, Jacob, was so wonderful yesterday, I was not prepared and he was patient and super kind about it. His professionalism and kindness was fantastic and he did a great job on the carpets! he is a keeper! Thanks again and ill be recommending you to all my friends! read more

Fast, efficient, friendly and cost efficient. We saved a ton of money going with Curtis-E. Great communication. Couldn't be happier!

We used this company 1 year ago and were satisfied with their work. This go around the only positive was they were on time. I found the customer service poor, office staff argumentative and brash, professionalism lacking and no major difference in my carpets after the cleaning. read more

BEWARE!! Cheap Price. Cheap Quality. We used this company several years back and we were satisfied. Had them out last week and it was HORRIBLE!! Starting with unfriendly office staff on the phone, followed by a technician that was very unprofessional. Against my better judgement I allowed him in. He used very inappropriate language and mentioned horrible subject matter including female anatomy and pedophilia. He worked so fast that there's no way the carpets would get clean. I asked him to please slow down. He yelled at me and told me he knew what he was doing. The carpets on our stairs was soaked. No excess liquid was removed. Not one area of the house looks any different than when they showed up. Elizabeth H read more

Just used their services (via a Groupon). Paid $99 for up to 6000sq ft (I think) - but we only had probably 1800 sq ft of carpeted areas. . My only problem was that when the fellow showed up he said that he could clean the carpet OK for the Groupon cost or for $35 more he has a machine that cleans a lot better. I took the better machine for one room and it did do a lot better, just seemed a little strange to have to pay more for a better cleaning job. read more

We've had Curtis-E carpet cleaning come out once a year for the past 3 years. They have always been on time, professional, and do a great job making our carpets look like new. Yesterday, Levi came out and I let him know we were having some pet issues in the bonus room. He helped move furniture to make sure every sq ft of that room was cleaned. Today, I'm happy to say that any hint if pet odor is gone. We will always use Curtis-E Carpet Cleaning. 5 stars! read more

I have had this company clean my carpets several times in the past few years and they have always done a pretty good job. In September I had my carpets cleaned again and there was absolutely no difference the following day. I used my own carpet cleaner and the carpet cleaner was full of very dirty water. I sent an email saying the carpets didn't look like they were cleaned and got no response. I am really disappointed and will not have them clean my carpets again. read more

Had my carpets cleaned 2 years ago by this company. The service guy that I had then was very nice and thorough. He put plastic under my small furniture so the legs wouldnt get wet and so he could easily move them to clean under them. Gave me advice on how to get the carpet to dry faster and told me about the stain and deodorizer that they offer. Well, had my carpets cleaned by them again today and received the total opposite responce. Cleaning guy was a bit frosty. Seemed like he arrived with a bit of an attitude (left the same way). asked about the plastic to go on the legs of my furniture, said they don't provide it so I had to move my tables by myself off the carpet so they wouldnt get ruined. I did put plastic cups under one of my tables that was too big to move and asked him to let me know when it was time for him to clean in my livingroom so I could move it for him. Instead he pushed the table to the side himself breaking one of my cups. When I heard him moving the table I hurried in to help just to see him throwing 2 of the cups on the table instead of putting them back under the legs. He left my front door wide open while cleaning, had to be at least 35-40 degrees outside. Neighbor had her carpet cleaned just 2 days before me and I noticed they had a blanket or something black on their door blocking out the cold. (Dont know if it was provided by the company, but it would have been nice to have). My house is now freezing cold inside! Didnt offer to do a walk around to make sure I was satisfied. Just so happened to do it when he was putting his equipment away. So far looks like the carpet got cleaned, but I'll really find out when it drys. Was going to give him a tip but after the frosty attitude I decided he didnt deserve one. But, I will leave him with this tip for next time. Try to be more customer friendly. A smile can go a long way along with a possible repeat happy customer. read more

I've used this company 3x on a Groupon before. Usually around $115 each visit. This time they gave a past customer pre-pay discount of $90 entire house for the month of March. Of course I jumped on it and booked for service 3 weeks out. They arrived 2 hrs late! I still give them 3 stars because the job was done and it was still worth $90. But 2 hrs!! Come on guys some people have to get back to work! read more

I've bought cheap carpet deals and accepted less-than-stellar quality and service for years, but not with these guys. I bought the Sharing Spree deal for $89 for up to 6K feet + stairs and halls, which is unheard of even in the daily deal market. The technician was early for his appointment and called to see if we were available for him early. He also let me know that they will honor a $99 cleaning deal for life. He offered to clean my high-traffic areas with a more expensive process for free so that I would see the difference for future visits. He was very knowledgeable, explained the add-ons he recommended, and was clear that all of them were optional because I had already paid for basic services. My carpets look great, and I am very pleased with the customer service. They've earned my customer loyalty for future visits. read more

Used an Amazon Local $99 for up to 6000sqft deal. If it wasn't for the price, this would be a 1-star review. 1) The guy called me an hour before the appointment and asked if he could come early. I told him I could only be there 30mins before the appointment (I've got other things to do!). He didn't sound too happy when i told him that. 2) It was raining the day of the carpet cleaning. The guy came into my house with wet shoes, did not put shoe covers on or try to minimize the water he dragged in (my entryway is tile, not carpet). I waited until the end to see if he would wipe up the mess before he left. nope! didn't apologize for it either. 3) after the carpet was cleaned, the guy dumped all of the brown liquid right next to my driveway! gross... read more

These guys are top notch! I got a killer deal in a Groupon they had going for a while. They showed up to my house an hour in advance and it only took them around 45 minutes at the most to clean the entire house which is 3 stories. The guy who cleaned the carpets was very professional, friendly, and did an amazing job at making our carpets look brand new. I have nothing but positive things to say about these guys and I will definitely be using them next time we have our carpets cleaned. read more

Technician stated that his vacuum was not working as well as it could since it was clogged from jobs from the previous day. Didn't even get as far as the cleaning process. Levi, the technician, was rude, impolite, aggressive and acted like he didn't care if he stayed or not. Certainly do not want someone like this in our home or to use a company that would employ someone like this. read more

Mark from Curtis-E came out to our home in Canby, was on time, professional, sharp and did a terrific job. I love this company! I have used them many times and have never had a problem. All my questions were answered promptly when I made my appointment and I couldn't be happier with the service. I have a new couch and spilled red wine on it and he was able to get the stain out and my couch still looks like new. I used the Groupon sale originally and when I called back to schedule another cleaning, they gave me the same great price I had gotten online. Great value and service. I highly recommend it! read more
