They pulled back my carpet to fix a squeak - it still squeaks. Upon replacing the carpet the baseboards were damaged. I live in a new build- my baseboards were pristine. They pulled back roughly one half of the carpet in the room. All around that permitter there are scuff marks and dings, whereas there are none along the rest of the room. This is clear evidence that they caused this damage. I've tried to reach out to the developer who contracted their work as it was done under warranty multiple times since work was done. They forward the issue to JC carpet, I hear nothing back. JC carpet hasn't reached out to fix anything or even address the issues. I sent an email last night- with all involved CCd. I've heard nothing back. I wouldn't do business with this company if you paid me. I actually cancelled my own- non warranty scheduled work with them and asked my developer to allow me to work with someone else and was denied due to horrible office staff customer service (only one staff member set this experience though- the rest I spoke too were great). Also they aren't currently licensed. They shouldn't even be performing work. read more

I called and requested JC to come out to shampoo my bedroom carpet that just had new drywall installed and they were able to schedule me for the following day! They gave me a time frame from 9 am to 12 pm and Fernando showed up right before 9:30 am. I showed him which room needed to be shampooed and he went over everything that he was going to do. He had hose lines etc unloaded from his van and got to work. He was completed with everything at 10:30 am. I was nervous that the carpet was going to be wet for several days but within a couple hours it was dry and I was able to start bringing everything back into my room. A+ for service, A+ for a time frame to show up and complete the shampooing, A+ for customer service, and a huge A+ on the cost of getting this completed. Thank you! read more

JC Carpet is a life savor! I called them panicking because my future in-laws were coming into town last minute. When I called JC Carpet they were so understanding and caring about my situation. They were able to accommodate my crazy schedule and made it so easy to schedule with them! The tech that came out did an amazing job! He was able to dye the spot in front of my washing machine (where I spilled bleach) making that spot disappear. He was professional, informative, and did an amazing job cleaning my carpet!!! My carpet looks brand new and smells amazing. I thought for sure this was going to cost an arm and a leg to remove that bleach spot, it wasn't, They are very reasonably priced and the technician went over everything with me before starting. I cannot thank JC Carpet enough for their service, from start to finish. The few other local carpet company's I called before I contacted JC were not nearly as professional, accommodating or as friendly. This company (JC Carpet Cleaning in Tigard, OR) provided a quote for $1490.00 to clean the carpets in my unit (see Google photos) - https://photos.app.goo.gl/XL61mMRbxL1Xzsqf7 to Omni Management, Inc for a 3 bedroom apartment, and ultimately suggested replacing rather than cleaning the carpets. Although the photos can't show 'smells' that were noted, the quote seems to be over-the-top excessive (even if the carpets were completely destroyed, which they were not - please see the photographs). This company also significantly prides themselves on removing pet stains and reviving carpets to 'live another day'. For $1500, are they shampooing the carpet with champagne? It's strange, but now that I am looking online and Omni Management, Inc has professed that they do not have a fiduciary interest in the carpet cleaning company, I am finding several (more than half a dozen 5 star listings) for this company under google and yelp for seemingly the same entity (this is why you are likely seeing my post in several places). Including the 3 bedrooms, the living and dining room, and carpeted stairs, this comes out to $248 per room/area. Does this seem like a reasonable carpet cleaning quote? This is what I was charged against my rental deposit after cleaning the carpets myself, even though the carpet was ultimately replaced and not re-cleaned. I am curious to know if JCCC, Omni, or an affiliate 'replaced' the carpet, but I can't seem to get any information from JCCC or Omni on this. They both seem to be confused about how to provide an actual receipt for services rendered. read more

We used JC at my last place of work. They were always available, always honest, always on time and able to accommodate our needs. I contacted them again for personal use, and they went above and beyond and did a fabulous job. My old maintenance manager always dealt with Rocky. I called to make an appointment and dealt with Rocky as well. He was super nice, professional, and called me for payment once the job was completed. They are totally reasonable, as well. I remember us sending them out for a standard carpet clean at properties and they would make horrible carpet look brand new, but when they knew cleaning it was a waste of money they told us the truth and recommended replacement. It saved us a lot of money. They picked up the slack when another carpet cleaning company failed on me the day before I had to turn in keys. I appreciate it! read more

So after my property manager, on our moveout walkthrough, tells me that the carpets look great, imagine my surprise to receive a carpet cleaning bill from JC Carpet Cleaning for $800! Oh, the base charge, $250, is very reasonable, and very much in line with what I was quoted by other carpet cleaning people. Except then they nickel and dimed me - if more than two times the base cost can really be called "nickel and diming" - another $550, on carpet that I was asked for my cleaning receipt for upon our moveout walkthrough (there wasn't one because I did it myself and take pride in maintaining places I rent) and was assured would not result in an over-the-top cost for cleaning. Well friends, $800, $550 of which is over the base cost, is certainly over-the-top. While I have no doubt that this is at the behest of the property management company, the fact remains that there is no way I would ever hire these people to clean my carpets, lest I have to take out a small bank loan in order to cover the costs. read more

They have no business license. No way to register a complaint. The technician came in. He started poking at the carpet and would not stop. He kept saying he is looking for moisture and urine. Sounded like a sales gimmick. Despite my request to stop, he would not and refused to give an estimate. Finally, after about 20 minutes my decision was to ask him to leave. Then his boss calls and threaten to put a lien. Ruined my day. Then realized that they don't even have license. read more

I was moving out of an apartment I had been in for a year and a half and when I gave notice, my landlord sent the usual "cleaning checklist" with a list of vendors they prefer. For carpet cleaning, they recommended JC Carpet cleaning and had a deal for $170 to do a three-bedroom house. I arranged an appointment and met the cleaner who showed up on time (calling first, like I asked). He confirmed the same $170 price the property management company's letter mentioned. He checked out the house, noted a few spots that might need extra treatment , and said it would cost $30 more, which I felt was reasonable. I had some errands to run, so left him to do the work. When I returned two days later for the walk-through, the carpets looked *NEW*. When I first moved into the place, there were a few stains in spots, which I noted on the walk-through sheet, and the person I did the walk-through with commented the carpets had been cleaned, and it must have been that the stains just wouldn't come out. After this cleaning, the spots were ALL gone... I would DEFINITELY use them again, whether for a move-out or in my own place when the carpets need cleaning. They were professional, reasonably priced, efficient, and did an excellent job! read more

I've a property management company and I solely use JC Carpets for our homes. I would recommend them to anyone. I've had absolutely trashed carpet that they were able to revive to live for another day. They are always great to work with on the phone as well. I was very impressed with the service we received from JC. Our technician Nick was prompt, friendly and did an excellent job cleaning our carpets. We live in an a-frame and he climbed all those stairs with his equipment with a smile on his face. I also appreciated the help we got from Leah, the scheduler. She was able to work us into the schedule within 48 hours and gave us a reminder call the day before to confirm the time of arrival. I made an appointment and they were to arrive between 9-10 am, nice, helpful person answered the phone and made appointment. No arrival at 10, so I called. The person helping on the phone seemed to have trouble finding my appointment and asked if I was in an apartment and my name twice. I asked if they had a calendar or appointment book and she was slightly snarky saying she is looking right now. Then she told me they would be there by 1pm. Wow, 3 hours late. I said you are kidding me, this deserves a review to warn potential customers as being bad business. She told me she was trying to help me and said it's not her fault, she didn't make the appointment. Not good business when there are so many choices. Do not recommend at all.
