Great new restaurant in the area. Not an Asian fusion but Asian only. Malaysian, Singapore The roti was good. The curry shrimp was not as spicy Prices are reasonable. I think the curry dishes would be perfect for cold winter days.

3.5 stars rounded up. Portion sizes were a bit smaller than I expected. The Egg and Seafood Chowfun tasted good, but I wish there was just a bit more chowfun. Service was good, and the ambiance was nice. They had some calming jazz music playing in the background. Overall, not a bad spot, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here.

The owner called straight away after I put the order in and made me cancel the order on UberEats apps.

This restaurant owner is a scammer. I ordered food via Ubereats for lunch today and within a minute after I ordered, the owner called my cell phone and said that he doesn't have the ingredients for items that I ordered. He made me cancel the food order on Ubereats apps, which I did because I thought I did the right thing. Little did I know, because of that, I was issued receipt by Ubereats for the amount of $74 for the food I have never received. If the restaurant doesn't have the food item, they should have crossed it out so people don't accidentally order but instead of doing the right thing, the restaurant owner made me cancel an order and for this purpose alone he keeps my hard earned money. To add the insult, I get no refund nor the food. Please don't support a restaurant like this who treat customers poorly like garbage.

We enjoyed our Malaysian fix. Just opened 3 mos ago. Flavors popped and portions were generous. Stingray was awesome! Spicy water spinach was great. Curry chicken mee delicious. Beef satay was tasty. Cooks were from Ipoh so food was authentic. Well done!

New Malaysian food fusion New establishments in the Brooklyn borough park lactation. Clean and updated renovation

This is a new Malaysian restaurant (open about a month when we came). I eat at a lot of Malaysian food and I would consider this more of a cafe/dinner as they serve the more popular items and less of the other type. The food is absolutely wonderful. Just too bad the portions are a little on the small size - definitely not a share type of dish that you normally get at a traditional full Malaysian or Chinese restaurant. Some of the dishes I would consider among the best tasting around NY - hainanese chicken, Ong Choy, etc.

I hope this place gets more love! We ordered the prawn mee noodle soup, seafood egg chow fun, and roti. Everything was delicious. Chef knows what he's doing

So far the best Malaysian food in Brooklyn Park Slope. Enjoyed the food and the atmosphere with attentive staff! Will come back!

Yummy... curry noodle is daily special, not on the menus yet.

My favorite was probably the Hainanese Chicken, which was relatively tender. String beans were quite good too because their belacan was flavorful. On the other hand, I found the Curry Young Tao Fu to be a little underwhelming, especially the bland tofu. As for the Roti Cani, that pancake was somewhat doughy, but the curry sauce was good. I did order the Chow Kueh Teow, but they did not serve it. We were too full anyway, so we decided to save that for our next visit. Unfortunately, this restaurant is far from my home. Otherwise, I would be back right away.

We ordered the roti canai, mixed satay, nasi goreng, and fried pearl noodles. I also ordered an iced kopi which tasted very similar to a Vietnamese iced coffee. The fried pearl noodles were flavorful and the texture was really interesting. The noodles had a chewy and firm bite similar to udon and ended up being a favorite between my brother and me. My mom didn't enjoy the chewiness as much but she said it was a good experience. The mixed satay came with both chicken and beef. We enjoyed it enough to order another round to go but this time we opted for beef only. The sauce that comes with it is as equally delicious. Highly recommend coming here to try the fried pearl noodles and the beef satay.

Our table of six ordered Hainese chicken, stir fried Chinese watercress, stir fried noodles (not sure which ones these were), this taro nest with chicken and cashew dish, and roti canai. Overall everything was pretty solid. No complaints with the Hainese chicken, but it could have been a bit saltier. The sauce with it was pretty decent, but I enjoy the chicken itself being seasoned. I'm not sure which exact noodles we got, but they were decent as well. They were stir fried with beef and had a soy sauce flavor. The taro nest dish was also good with the fried taro being a good balance to the chicken stir fry dish inside. Roti canai was standard, but I wish it was warmer. The sauce was the typical curry sauce with a piece of chicken inside. Stir fried watercress with belacan (shrimp) sauce is good too. The belacan sauce wasn't overpowering which I appreciate. I would come back here again for a quick, hearty meal. It ended up being around $35 ish per person so not too bad for the large amount of food ordered.

The noodle portion was also very generous. It almost felt like they gave me a refill, but it was all there from the start. If you dug in with chopsticks, you would hit noodles all the way to the bottom. This time the food came out super fast and the noodles seemed clumped together, which made it clear they were pre-cooked and sitting out. I honestly would not have minded waiting a little longer if they cooked them to order, especially since I came on a Sunday afternoon and there was only one other table. It should not have been hard to make fresh noodles, so that part was disappointing. The toppings were also just the chicken. From what I know, laksa mee should come with things like tofu puffs, tofu sheets, fish cakes or egg to give it a more varied texture, so missing those made it feel a bit lacking.

We opted for the 15 course dinner that samples through their entire menu. It is a perfect amount of food for two people and I recommend this experience very much. The meal starts with a cozy chicken and noodle broth soup which was so warming and comforting, just what the doctor ordered in this weather. The second round of food was two types of salad and a corn fritter. I loved the pickled salads as they had a nice crunch to them and tasted delicious. The fritters are a good size but a little bit greasier than I liked. The last round is where all the curries are brought out on a hot plate. There's shrimp, lamb, beef rendang, chicken, tofu etc. There's also white rice and skewers of chicken and beef satay coated in a delicious peanut sauce. Some of the curries I liked very much - like the fried tofu and the sauce on the shrimp curry was divine. Beef rendang fell a little flat for me as it wasn't as decadent, thick or spicy like authentic rendang is. The lamb curry had a sweet taste which I found a little odd. The chicken satay was juicy and delicious but the beef satay was rubbery and hard to chew and a weird texture. I definitely expect better from a satay skewer. Our server was kind and kept the flow of the food going. The final course is a little coconut pandan flan which was very very good but the texture is firmer than what I like. Flan should definitely be a bit softer and creamier. Either way it's tough to nail a 15 course dinner expertly but I do think if they made a few needed changes to the quality of food this would easily be a 5 star experience! If you live nearby, definitely give this beautiful cozy family run restaurant a try!!

We called ahead to make sure they would be open when we arrived around 8:45pm, and they were very accommodating when we arrived with a group of 5. It felt authentic, and the food was exactly what I was dreaming about. My husband and brother shared a Rijsttafel, which they said was very good. My husband said it was a 4.25/5, and next time he would want a normal dish. I wish they had a vegetarian Rijsttafel (like in the places we found in Amsterdam), but they had a ton of vegetarian dishes regardless. I went a little overboard and ordered the tofu sate, gado gado, and kare sayur. The tofu sate with the peanut sauce was amazing, but my favorite was the gado gado. I was so happy. That peanut sauce is incredible. The waitress said the kare sayur is a popular dish with vegetarians, but it didn't blow me away like the other dishes. It was a trek to get out here from Manhattan, but I would do it again. The two ladies working at the restaurant were so warm and friendly. I was very happy.

Nasi Lemak is my favorite all time dish, and this one hit the spot as well. It came with a generous amount of anchovies/peanuts and the sambal it came with was great. If I had to nitpick, I do wish the rice had a bit more flavor, but not a big deal. The kopi was really good, though I wish it came earlier with the toast instead of after we got all our food. Not a big deal, and service was good other than that. The restaurant had a good amount of tables and barstool seating, although it filled up completely by 1pm!
