The garlic cheese naan was super and cheeay. The chicken had good spice and the Samosas were fresh with mint and Tamarind chutney. We got Chicken Vindaloo extra spicey and the lamb Biryani. Both were spicy with great flavor and my Biryani had fabulous aromas. Everything was delicious and the service fantastic. Great experience.

The food is excellent Indian food - the owner used to own Tower Indian Restaurant in Morrisville and took over this spot. Surprisingly Raleigh Convention Center is a bit underserved when it comes to good restaurants and we were glad to find it. On weekdays they have a lunch meal option with two vegetables, Naan and rice for about $10 and you can make the vegetables unlimited for additional $2 - which we didn't need since the portions were pretty good. They also have similar chicken option for a little bit more price. We enjoyed our meal and I am sure we will be here again.

The shopping center it's located in was very busy with other restaurants and other businesses so close parking could be scarce depending on the day and time. There was a sign for 10.99 lunch specials outside, but I learned that the specials are only available on the weekends. I started was water and a mango lassi. It was perfectly smooth with the perfect amount of sweetness with a slight hint of salt. They brought out some spiced chips with chutney. I also ordered samosas and PaniPuri as my appetizers. The samosas were perfectly flakey and spiced. The PaniPuri were an experience. First, i didn't expect it to be cold. Then the spiced water that's poured into the wafers was tangy. It was a flavor explosion. For my entrée I ordered the Saag Chicken or Chicken with spinach/greens. The chicken was tender. The flavor was good. I wish I would have added a bit more spice, but I was nervous that I would be too hot. Overall a great visit. My Only critique is the Naan. It was a little tkk dense for me. Almost like it needed one more minute in the oven. For it to be bitter Naan, it was quite dry. The customer service was good. A couple of the staff members offered to show me how to eat some of the dishes. I just politely let them know that I was already familiar. Not sure if I will go back. Unfortunately, the overall experience was strange and disappointing, especially considering we drove about 30 minutes to get there. We arrived on a Saturday around lunchtime, and the owners appeared to be in the middle of mounting a television. We were told to sit wherever we wanted, which we did. However, we sat there for approximately 20 minutes without anyone bringing us water or even checking on us. The owner continued working on the television, and I eventually had to speak up to let her know we were ready to order. When she finally took our order, she forgot the vegetable samosas we had ordered. While waiting, we could hear a microwave beeping and being slammed shut in the back, which didn't exactly inspire confidence in the food preparation. The most uncomfortable part came when we received the bill. The owner asked whether she had brought us our samosas, and when I told her she had not, she simply apologized. Then, after cashing us out, she came back and said she had forgotten to charge us for our glass of wine and added the charge to my credit card without discussing it with me first. That was particularly frustrating and left a bad impression. Overall, the entire experience felt disorganized and unprofessional. Between the lack of attention, the forgotten order, and the additional charge to my credit card without my approval, this was not the dining experience we expected after such a strong recommendation. Unfortunately, the restaurant did not live up to the hype, and we will not be returning.
