Fried Momo

This so far has been the best Nepali/Indian food I've had in the Triangle. The service was so friendly and attentive. The food was hot and came out in a good amount of time. And the portions were so generous for the price. I can't wait to go back and try more

I came here for the first time last week and the owner was super welcoming. It looks like a family business but it was clean and cozy. The food was delicious! The garlic nan was flavorful, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the goat curry was flavorful and not gamey at all, the Momo was delicious as well. The complimentary ginger tea was also tasty. Overall I'd definitely comeback and recommend everyone to come. Everything in the restaurant is Halal which was a big bonus since one of my friend is a Muslim.

May, in NC for daughter's Duke graduation. Had reservations elsewhere, but fell through and ended up here. NO regrets. Nice mix of Indian and Nepalese cuisine, and everything was very good. Had a bunch of stuff and it was all good: Chili Chicken Momo; Chicken Tika masala; Nepali Style Chili Potatos, Nepali Tarkari; Samosas,

This place is ALWAYS a 10/10. Transports us to that region with its authentic flavors, amazing customer service and welcoming energies! My soul absolutely adores this place! Self-Care on so many radical levels. Treat yourself to the ambience!

A very tasty and delicious spot. The seating here is limited but definitely worth the wait. Also, if you can't handle the heat I would request very mild. I was in tears but it was so good. Will definitely be coming back to try more in the menu

After eating here multiple times, and trying different entrees, I am convinced this is some of the best food and best service anywhere.

***FOOD: everything was amazingly yummy. MOMOS - delicious and a must have NAAN - light fluffy and flavourful MANGO LASSI - tasty full of mango flavor very good TIKKA MASAL - so so good ***COST (OUT OF 4$) $$ very reasonable ***DÉCOR: small place inside, basic. I guess the food is the main here. ***SERVICE: ok. The server didn't really understand or speak English very well. Have to wait for food so be prepared. Lots of parking in this strip mall location ***RECOMMEND: HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Would definitely go back.

Saag paneer, Chicken tikka masala, Malai Kofta, and Garlic Naan

The restaurant is located in the corner of an older Plaza complex by downtown Cary. It is a small restaurant and so it is the best to call in advance to reserve a table when we arrived at around 5:45 PM on Saturday, the restaurant was packed. We were seated immediately and handed our menus. They provide water and warm tea on arrival. Within a few minutes our waiter came. He was very attentive and helped us with our food choices. What was nice about the menu is that they inform us of the food allergen associated with each meal. The appetizer arrived not too long after we ordered our meal. Our main courses arrive shortly after the food was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. It is our first visit to this restaurant and certainly not our last. We think this is the best tasting Indian/Nepalese Himalayan restaurant in the area!

We came here on a Saturday night, arrived by 6pm and added our name to the wait list. We sat down at around 7:15. We got Himalayan tea and the mango lassis to start which were both very good. We also got an appetizer, the govi Manchurian which was also great! Service was very friendly but you can tell they were overwhelmed. We didn't get our food until 8:30 so it was a very long wait. The food was good but we will won't be back for dinner service. We may try earlier times to see if we fare better. Also, beware of the spice levels, they have 1-7 and level 2 and 3 are pretty spicy

Himalayan Range Nepali Restaurant INTRO: Small Indian restaurant located in Cary. Aloo Gobi ($9.99)- Flavor was good but a tad on the spicier side and came with rice. The cauliflower and potatoes were cooked thoroughly and were tender. Able to feed two people. Naan ($3.50)- Complimented nicely with the Aloo Gobi and was an alternate option to just the rice. Parking/ Location- Located in a small shopping center off of Maynard Road with plenty of parking in the middle. Went at a busier time and it was not a hassle to get into or to find parking. Ambience and Service- Small restaurant with simple look. Service was good and didn't have to wait long for food to arrive.

Lamb Mango Curry, Saag Paneer, Chicken Kadai, Chicken Tandoori, Vegetable Samosas, Garlic Naan
Tim C.

We got some take out with friends, and we ordered the following: Vegetable Samosas - good flavor, no real complaints about them. Lamb Mango Curry - nice big chunks of lamb, but the sauce was a bit too sweet for me. Saag Paneer - this was probably my favorite dish, because it's less spinach-y and more creamy than most saag paneers. It had great flavor too. Chicken Tandoori - the chicken was unfortunately dry and I wasn't too impressed by it. Chicken Kadai - I liked the spice level of the rice, and the chicken was tender, moist, and well marinated. Garlic Naan - not much flavor, and a bit dry and flaky for my liking. It came with white basmati rice. For the price, the value and amount of food we got was good. I am open to returning to try different dishes, but probably won't be getting the Chicken Tandoori again. Also, we placed the order over the phone, and then went to pick up our order about 20 minutes later, only to have to wait at the restaurant another 20 minutes for our food. I understand it was a bigger order, but it seems this is consistent with other reviews as well - the service is on the slower side so if you are looking for something quicker, this may not be the best option.

We LOVE northern Indian and Nepalese food and were lured by the high yelp rating. I'll start with the good. The server was kind and efficient. The chili chicken momo were delicious. The rice and garlic naan were average to good as well. However, our butter chicken and our chicken korma tasted like nothing. It was very strange. There was texture and you could kind of taste the chicken itself but the sauces tasted like nothing. You could almost only tell the two apart based on color and texture. We ordered one of them medium spice and one mild. Even the medium spiced dish had zero flavor. I kind of thought to myself that something was off when the colors looked bright but we couldn't taste a thing. I kept thinking maybe the flavor or heat will build. It never did. Nevertheless we ate everything bc we were starving, but we were definitely disappointed in the lack of flavor. Not long after we left, our stomachs were kind of on edge but we figured this was simply from eating too much. This morning we both woke up ILL. Even though we discussed coming back for the chili momo only in the future, we have since changed our tune. I love locally-owned businesses and hate to leave a bad review but we truly did not have a 4+ star experience here. We won't be back.

I grabbed take-out from here recently and I was a little disappointed by the quality of the butter chicken. It wasn't terrible but the competition is really fierce because there are so many great restaurants serving this cuisine in the area. I will say that we ordered it mild (so that my preschooler would enjoy it) and it was definitely mild, unlike some of the other restaurants in the area :) The sauce just didn't have the depth of flavor that I've experienced at other places. The rice was slightly overcooked, and the naan were not bad but were a little overly chewy. I will say that my wife loved her lamb saag and my mother-in-law really enjoyed her saag paneer, so there's that. Overall, since my family liked it so much, I'd order from here again, but I'd get something different from the butter chicken next time.

We always get two orders of the crispy cauliflower because it's so tasty. Most of the dishes let you choose your spice level when ordering online, which is nice.
