I liked both. I did not realize the Baingan was more soup then a dish. (Especially when you don't eat rice.) The Aloo Kauli looked like a stew and I was told it was good but had a strange taste. When I asked about the Dry Chili Chicken, I was told it was just spicy and filling. I asked if it was good or have a certain flavor? And she described it as just spicy. (She ordered mild, too.) I was a little surprised by how average it was with the reviews the restaurant has. The service wasn't particularly great either. I usually love naan but the garlic naan we had was pretty hard and dry. One thing that was really nice is that the restaurant gave my whole family a desert for my birthday, which is honestly what bumped my experience up from 2 to 3 stars.
