I usually love the food but I don't recommend them when they are even marginally busy. Only half the tables were full when I arrived. It took almost 10 minutes of standing at the register to put in a to go order and it's been 40 minutes and counting and I still don't have my food. They said it would be 10 minutes. Got take out one night got a veg curry Palak panner and naan ,Palak panner tasted like boiled Palak with salt and red chills in it with old panner . Great food. The owner and her son is cery nice and friendly! Food reminds me of home cooked food. Specially the amount of quantity and quality of food when you cater from Curry Corner for party orders is AMAZING. The prices of the items are worth it compared to other indo-pak restaurants in the valley. It would be nice to have more selections of authentic Pakistani dishes instead of Indian since Indian cuisine is available almost anywhere. But there's hardky any authentic Pakistani cuisine. 16 minutes ago I was a regular customer for like 7 years as it was close to my place and yesterday I had an insulting experience when I took my friend ls there for first time. Everytime I go I order chicken Tikka and it has been amazing. This time for the first time in 7 years it was horrible. So oily chicken was not fresh and tasted bad. Then came chicken handi which use to be tasty too but this time it was not cooked properly and onions felt raw. So we complained and the owner lady came in which I know for last 7 years . I honestly have her feedback on how food does not taste as it use to . So she took chicken handi with her inside and never came back . That felt insulting to me , if you are there to get the feedback and went inside atleast come out and say what you think what might have gone wrong indside. At the end she told her server to give 5% and then also she did not come out. I am like I am not here to get 5% discount on terrible food. I would pay full and be happy rather than take 5% off. The server took one chicken Tikka off from the system as he felt bad for the food we got . Imagine the server can understand but the owner cannot. Giving this place less than 4-5 stars really hurts because my fiance and I used to LOVE this place, but recently it's gone way downhill. Our friends (who introduced us to the place) think the same thing. I don't know if there's new owners, or new staff in the kitchens, but nothing is the same anymore. Their tikka masala and other curries are extremely watery now, the quality and flavor of their tikka fries have gone rock bottom, and recently we ordered samosas that had metal shards stuck in the dough. Their servings used to be generous, and now you can expect to almost get half of what you normally would. Super disappointing. :( read more

Upon the recommendation of one of our kind followers we headed over to this suspicious looking restaurant for some spectacular food. We got there pretty close to closing time but the service was still exceptional and they made us feel welcomed and helped us to choose the three dishes. Most people might know that Guy Fieri showcased this spot on his show but we were unaware until the waiter mentioned it. He proceeded to recommend the top three dishes that were ordered and enjoyed by Guy, all three of which we dined on as well. The Tikka Masala was like a party of flavors in my mouth. The heat from the spices wasn't overpowering but nice and welcoming. The chicken was moist and there was tons of sauce, perfect for dipping the naan in to. Processed with VSCOcam with f2 presetNext we dug into the fresh Goat Karahi, our first time eating goat and it was easily likeable. I did feel that there were more bones in this dish than meat, which was too bad because the meat and the flavors of ginger, garlic and yogurt were delicious. To take home (because we were enjoying the food so much) we ordered the Tandoori Chicken Tikka. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the sauce that came with it was a great combination. We decided as a family to rate this place food and service, because we felt that one overall rating wouldn't work. The food was flavorful but not all of it was amazing. The tandoori wings were so tasty, the hummus was the best we have probably ever had and the lamb tikka malsala was a definite favorite along with the naan bread. Other items were a bit to salty but over all the food was good. Food we gave a rating of 7 out of 10. Unfortunately the front of the house is where this place needs the most work. Items that were ordered were missing, which may have been the result of the to servers taking our orders. Place could use a good scrub down and some kind of gnat spray. We had to ask for water refills, only to be refilled by what we assumed to be timid tap water. Servers more interested in the grub hub drivers that came in then the actual patrons siting in the restaurant. Unfortunately the service rating from us was a 4. I can't remember the names of our dishes, but we asked the waitress what to get. She recommended two chicken dishes. One was a coconut curry and the other was buttery garlic. This is a very good value for North Indian and Northwest Frontier Food. The food is a cross between Pakistani, Indian, and Afghani. The Boti Kebab is good. My wife ordered the non-vegetarian thali. The portions were huge!! She liked it, and took the leftovers home. My wife's nephew (from Vietnam) liked his chicken kebabs. He said it was well prepared. My wife says she will come back because of the great value. The only drawback she had was that perhaps certain things were slightly salty for her. It was also watery like they had added water to stretch out the sauce. I had been here multiple times before and raved about it to my father. It was a huge let down and disappointment.
