Think we found our new favorite Indian restaurant . Why? Because this place has so many non-dairy options! And if there's no V next to the item, you should ask if they can make it vegan because they just might. I know this because we asked if they could make the baingan bhartha vegan and they were able to by removing the cream. The navaratan korma was a recommendation from the server and it too was made vegan. Unfortunately the naan couldn't be made vegan, so our server recommended the tandoori roti with no butter and it was perfect replacement. The samosas were tasty too. I mean, you can't go wrong with fried goodness. The restaurant was clean and had a chill vibe. But as an Indian person that has tried many Indian restaurants this food just wasn't that great. It had great spice but lacked flavor. If I hadn't known that I ordered palak paneer and butter chicken I wouldn't have any idea what I was eating. Took my family including grandchildren who never had Indian food and we all had the lunch buffet. The waiter took the grandchildren and adults who were unfamliar with the cuisine and oriented them to the buffet. All ten of us had a great satisfing time in this freindly enviroment. I would give Curries 5 stars if they were consistent. Their sauces are ALWAYS delicious (my wife and I mainly get tikka masala and butter chicken) and their butter chicken sauce is always spot on. However, about half of the time the chicken is either dry or some pieces will be very rubbery (like it was freezer burned). And biting into a piece of rubbery chicken is never pleasant. Their naan tastes good, but is sometimes burned. At $17/ serving the dish should never be hit and miss. We ordered two orders of butter chicken today and neither of us ate the chicken as most pieces were dry and the others were rubbery I'll wait a while before trying again. read more

So, this is the best Indian food I've had in the Puget Sound region. Our go-tos are the lamb saag and chicken tikka masala, but tonight we had the lamb biryani and, holy goodness, it was delicious! It came with this yogurt creation that was so good it made us laugh out loud. The paneer pakora is out of this world, not even a little bit rubbery (a common problem), and the wee mint chutney it comes with is just as perfect as could be. We've never eaten inside, as we didn't discover this place until after the Stay Home, Stay Healthy orders were in place, so I can't speak to what it's like to dine in. You know, sometimes you just need some curry and naan bread and you don't want to drive all the way to Bellevue or Seattle.. Well I'm glad to say, this is the spot!!! Curries has Uh-mazing food! Everything was so flavorful! The Samosas were so fresh and hot. The dipping sauce was out of this world! The butter chicken was some of the best i ever had! I really wanted to like their food, but it missed the mark for me. I ordered Chicken Tikka Masala. This was a to go order, so obviously it won't be that hot when I get it to my destination. However, this place had the same issue as most every other Indian restaurant when doing a to go order: all the containers are filled to the brim. If I'm going to work or someplace where I don't have plates or utensils, what do I do? Stare at my food and hope that satiates me? Give me enough room in the rice container to pour the curry on top. The rice was standard, albeit slightly wet due to their container choice. Not going to complain about that too much. But the curry... I think it's the thickest curry I've ever had. It poured more like tomato soup than a curry. A bit on the grainy side, too. But the chicken was in way too big of chunks to be enjoyed and were incredibly tough to chew. One piece seemed to crunch a little on the first bite. It's a nice looking establishment, but it's not somewhere I'd be interested in going again. read more

I would highly RECOMMEND. 10/10 The food is amazing and the portions are really big. My friends and I even shared our food around because there was plenty enough to go around. FIVE STARS! Here's why! Customer service was above and beyond wonderful! We came to Everett mainly for the Funko store. My daughter is a huge collector. Anyways. A member of my party has celiac disease and cannot have any gluten (wheat) and as you can imagine it can be a daunting task to find food for them. Typically Indian food is mostly gluten free anyways so we looked into some places and even though it was about 3 miles away from Funko we decided to try them out. Easy to pass this up, we actually drove passed it and had to go around the block, but don't pass it up! If you like Indian food for sure this is a must stop! We spent three days in the Seattle area and this was our favorite meal of the trip. Due to staffing shortages :( the dine in option was a no go, which was disappointing but the server was beyond accommodating. He helped my friend find all the gluten free options and knowing we were going to be eating in the vehicle he provided extra napkins and prepared the meal packaging in a way that would make it less mess and easier to manage, he also took the time to recommend a nice park up the road where we could either sit at a table to at least enjoy a decent view of the water while eating. It was very special that he took the time and cared enough to help us. Amazing Butter chicken, naan bread and rice! The best coconut curry I have ever tasted, my daughters meal! And perfectly done tandoori chicken! The next time I find myself in the Everett area I will be back for that coconut curry. BUFFET SCAM, HORRIBLE STAFF & DISRESPECTFUL ATTITUDE My wife and I reached the restaurant around 1:50 pm on Friday for lunch buffet. Before coming I called and they confirmed that buffet is available. After reaching, we were seated immediately. When we went to get the food, there were only 5 pieces of chicken tandoori left. Then there was no meat in the goat curry, only few bones left. Also chicken korma had some shredded chicken left which I had to filter out to get something to eat. I thought they are going to refill the items as they let 3 more parties (total 6 people) to enter and let them seat. Later when I went to get more food, found there was no tandoori chicken, no goat in the curry, no chicken in the both korma and butter chicken. It was 2:10 pm in the watch. So I called the staff and the guy from the cash came. I asked for the refill, he went back from the kitchen and told me that they will not refill because the chicken and other curries has been finished. Then I told him that you close the buffet at 2:30 pm, so whatever you are saying doesn't make sense. He then started telling me that refilling food might get wasted and HE THINKS THIS IS NOT A GOOD THING TO DO. Seriously!!!!! I stopped arguing and went back to my table. 5 minutes later, that guy came back and asking to get refill because they are going to close the buffet. LOL. I asked him what refill should I get? He replied, there are plenty of Salads, Raita and dessert. That dude is so disrespectful, omg!! If you guys won't refill, then why do you guys let me and my wife seat? Or why let 6 more people seat and have buffet? I paid full for 2 and left hungry. Paid 26$++ and we had some goat bones, 2 tandoori chickens, some shredded leftover chicken and 2 pieces of cold naan. I want to preface this review by saying I don't have much experience with Indian food. That being said, I thoroughly enjoyed all of the food here. The butter chicken was amazing. The sauce was so good in a bowl with some rice. I also really liked the Methi Malai Mutter. There are options that are meatless and then a variety of meats. This buffet was relatively clean for buffet standards. The price was also cheap for the quality of food you were getting. With my limited experience of Indian food, after trying this buffet I may have to try it again. Recommend! read more

The first time I ate at Curries was at their old location on Casino Road, it was small and more of like a subway style where you picked through the glass what you wanted to order. The food was excellent, it was reasonably priced and service was quick and friendly. Then recently we discovered that Curries moved to a new location on Evergreen Way and this restaurant was nicer and more spacious. We got to the restaurant as soon as they opened at 5pm and the place filled up quick. I'm glad to see that business is doing well and that they're in a better location. We ordered the garlic naan bread, chicken tikka masala, a tilapia dish, and mango lassi to drink. The food came out very quick and it was amazing! The garlic naan bread was a huge size portion and for $3!!! I've paid $12 for naan bread before and for half the size of what they give you at Curries. The tilapia was flaking and the chicken tikka masala was delicious. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful. Overall, my experience here was great and it makes me want to come back again and try other dishes. read more
