Saw their story recently on a CBS special. Felt bad for the owner for the unexpected challenges they are facing. So I decided to support by purchasing some cookies and get them shipped to me. I was neverous that by the time I got the cookies they would be hard. But to my surprise they are packaged air sealed along with with a moisture preventer inside the box. Cookies were super soft and tasty. If you in the area stop by. And if you live a distance like me, order a batch & support l plan to get more and have them shipped to family.

Not only was CurlyTop Baker incredibly generous to donate their amazing cookies to our community outreach project, but they also let us try their new Danish Butter Cookie (made especially for the Raiders!) and it was delicious!!! What a fantastic company! They make your cookies to order and specialize in wholesale orders. We can't say enough about how wonderful they are and what an amazing asset they are to our community!

Never heard of these but I was looking for a snack during my break at Sam's club today in Honolulu. I normally don't but pre-packaged cookies but they looked good - I'm shocked at how soft they are and they seem so fresh! I'm interested in trying more from them now!

Owned by Angela Pepe, CurlyTop Baker began as a project to feed Las Vegas' homeless population, and operating out of a commissary kitchen in Henderson the staff has not only donated nearly 30,000 Cookies since inception, but also a portion of the proceeds. Offered at ~$2 per palm-sized round, and baked fresh daily from high quality Ingredients "including real creamy Butter, pure Vanilla and cage-free Eggs" it is via E-mail or online shop that options can be perused before placing orders, over eighteen CurlyTop varieties available with the added ability to customize. Known to distribute Cookies across the Valley each week, and offering shipping as well as pick-up at 2540 Anthem Village Drive, it was midday Wednesday that four dozen Cookies were collected at noon, limited hours something of an encumbrance though curbside delivery is complimentary during Covid-19 times. Largely building on a single base with various Toppings and Mix-ins, a golden edge and soft-center occasionally crumbling as a result of Batter spread too thin, CuryTop's "Chocolate Chunk" can best be thought of as Angela's reference point, the mix of Semi-Sweet Chips and Dark Chocolate Chunks texturally pleasing whether together alone or alongside White Chocolate, Bacon, Walnuts or Potato Chips. Continuing with the same Dough, but adding toasty Oats to create a reference-standard "Curly Oatmeal Chip Cookie," those seeking something a little sweeter will find it in either Oreo-studded "Cookies n Cream" or "CurlyTop Campfire" with Graham Cracker Crumbs and melted Marshmallows. Not only are her cookies top notch, but the quality of her character is dependable and inspiring. Her gourmet portions are well worth the price point to splurge on a product made with love. Angela, who owns the bakery and bakes these delicious morsels from heaven, is a pleasure to work with! I ordered a tray for my office and some for my house. Everyone at work loved the cookies. We ordered a mix of red velvet, curly top m's which have chocolate covered candies in them, and the OG chocolate chip cookie. Trust me when I say they were ALL delicious. I don't know how she can make such flavorful yet light and fluffy cookies!! I can't wait to order from here again. I just came home from a beautiful service at City Light Church and after service we were graced with the gift of these AMAZING cookies !!! Each individually wrapped and OMG are they soft and delicious !!! We had two different flavors, chocolate chip, and red velvet. I have been sending cookie gifts for years through CurlyTop Baker. All of my friends and family rave about the quality and presentation. This is the first time I ordered the big cookie for my daughter's birthday. It was delicious and my daughter was so happy. I am fortunate enough to be local, so I picked up an order of chocolate M candy cookies half-dipped with chocolate today. I can't resist this type of cookie, so I had to order for myself as a Mother's Day gift. The two women working were so friendly (and I believe one of them was the owner). She explained that the cookies were fairly large (fine by me), so they'd separated them into two boxes. They were beautifully packaged and even had instructions on how best to heat them for a "fresh out of the oven" taste. We didn't even get out of the parking lot before I opened one of the boxes to try the cookies. Ridiculously delicious and everything I like about a soft cookie. I will be back for more, sooner rather than later. read more

I saw their story in the middle of the Pandemic and have been ordering at least around Christmas ever since. I live in San Diego and these are some of the best cookies around! How could I even dream of giving less than 5 stars?? You can tell these cookies are made with love! Every flavor is so much fun and so delicious. Even though I live in California, not only do I get my cookies every time I go to Nevada, but they also ship whenever I'm in need of a cookie fix...like always!!! Need to send a gift to someone? I saw their story on Documentary and I felt really bad for Angela and her daughter. I lost both my mom and dad to Covid so I felt for them! We live in California, was able to try their cookies for the first time back in March again in June 2022 and love all the cookies we tried! Best cookies ever!! Horrible customer service not sure if the cookies are good because I've been trying for 2 days to get them. Ok fair enough Sunday the business is closed so I placed a order online to pick up Monday at 11:45 am. 30 minutes before my pick up time I get a cancellation notification. I call the business they answer and the lady tells me sorry I gave the staff off because they've been working 7 days straight.... How is that possible since you've been closed the last 2 days. Terrible way to do business and to completely lie to a customer I mean I guess I'm stupid or something. read more

Many claim to sell GOURMET cookies, but only Curly Top Bakers deserves that distinction. Angela Pepe's cookies are the BOMB DIGGITY. I ordered her CurlyTop Campfire cookies and fell head over heels at first bite. Seriously. The cookies arrive in a cute box, and are vacuum sealed for freshness. Received a box of the birthdayfetti cookies and a brownie as a gift. I was blown away. The detail in their packaging was so cute and made me feel like they really took the time to personalize it. The cookies were so fresh, and once I followed the directions to slightly warm them in the microwave, I felt like I was eating cookies right out of the oven. They were soft and chewy without losing the texture of the sprinkles. I warmed up the brownie and whoaaaa. The fudgey chocolate hit the spot. 2020 has been rough for everyone, but knowing that Curly Top Baker can deliver delicious cookies makes it better. These cookies are AMAZING!!! I ordered them to be mailed last week and they arrived very quickly, were packaged well so that none of them broke, and were so fresh and delicious! I will definitely order again for mail delivery and then in person next time I'm in Las Vegas! I would attach pictures to demonstrate how great they looked upon arrival, but sadly, the cookie monster got to them before I could take a pic and therefore I do not have proof so you'll just have to take my word for it. :) Highly recommend!! read more

We had initially heard of CurlyTop Baker from a friend. They were raving about how delicious the cookies were and recommended us to give them a try. We did...and I can tell you these cookies were life changing. The cookies are the perfect size and have the right amount of chocolate chip, M & Ms and other fillings. It's so hard to choose a favorite because each cookies is unique and there are so many different flavors to choose from. Our family usually eats 4-6 different cookies at once so we can have a few bites of each cookie. We've ordered Curly Top Baker Cookies for family, friends and even brought them to relatives living overseas. I highly recommend CurlyTop Baker. These are the best cookies ever! We ordered the Vegan Chocolate Chip and the Chocolate Explosion. They were both soft and chewy with lots of chocolate chips. Great customer service and fast shipping. Yummy...yummy for everyone's tummy!!! Angela is amazing at what she does. You can tell from her cookies that she bakes with love. Cookies are moist and melt in your mouth. Just the perfect amount of sweet when you have that sweet craving. For the holiday's we ordered the Chocolate OG cookies to give to our class. The kids and adults really enjoyed them. Angela Pepe, our CurlyTop Baker, discovered her love for baking at a young age. The cake looked beautiful - nice tall layers of soft, moist purple ube sponge cake with thick white cream filling, a creamy yellow custard-style center, and finished with whipped cream on top. The ube flavor was well-balanced: that signature nutty, earthy sweetness without being overly sweet. I've had great home-cooked Filipino ube desserts before. While this is clearly a fusion bakery version, it still captured the comforting, celebratory vibe that ube brings to Filipino tables. It reminded me of the festive sweets you'd find at family gatherings or parties back in my wifes home country. The online ordering was convenient, but the pickup instructions could have been better. The pickup area is on the same side as the drink pickup, which caused a little confusion during a busy time. Service was otherwise fast and friendly, the bakery was clean and well-stocked, and prices are reasonable for the portion size. If you're in the Henderson/Las Vegas area and looking for a quick ube fix or any of their other Asian- and Filipino-inspired pastries, this spot is worth a stop. There was a sign up front that asked guests to be prepared to wait longer times so I really tried to be patient. I waited. After 40 minutes still standing up front I still had no crepe. I took a closer look at the order and noticed that the gluten free crepe was buckwheat batter of which when I ordered they didn't make mention of this. Due to my allergies and sensitivity I had to wait again to speak with someone else who appeared to be managing, perhaps the owner. He claimed they make their own batter and brought out the bag of buckwheat flour. Then read on google the ingredients. I really thought a gluten free crepe was mainly made of alternative flour such as coconut flour--not here. I also pulled up this information however I did not want to take a risk. He told the cashier at the counter to issue me a refund and he turned back around to make more coffee orders. I overall felt like I had wasted my time here. I used to take my kids here and haven't been here since they remodeled and expanded. I was by myself and really just wanted something to eat but was not offered anything else. That part upset me the most. Then my refund took a week long. Really thought the refund should have been immediately. The cafe is really cute! I love the decor and feel in here but just really disappointed in this whole experience and not the best quality of customer service. Located on Horizon Ridge Parkway in Green Valley.

I spent the day before the wedding calling every single bakery in Las Vegas, willing to pay double to get her something to be able to cut with her husband on her happy day and it was too short of notice. Not only did Darlene not apologize, she tried to pass off a bulbous, over decorated cake that looked absolutely NOTHING like the picture, saying "here's your gorgeous cake". When Lindsay expressed that it wasnt even remotely close to what they discussed, she took no accountability, offered no solution and simply said, "it can't be changed, sweetheart". Upon further conversations, she said she would "try" to make something else. At $350 for flour and sugar, it should look exactly like the picture. It honestly probably took more work to make what she presented than what Lindsay actually wanted. As a small business owner myself, I know mistakes happen, but I also know the importance of customer service, making things right and taking accountability. Word to the wise, maybe do a test run first to ensure your wedding day isn't ruined if you choose to work with Darlene.
